Story Start!
The layout of the house was easy.
The main hallway led to the living room, and which split in half to include the kitchen/dining room to the left. The hallway at the back of the living room led out to the backyard, but before you got to the backyard there was the bath room/changing room on the left side, and storage with his godfather's mini-library on the right side. It had a couple hundred books in it overall, it was where Naruto and his godfather would write the books they wrote, so it had a table to work at.
There was another hallway at the back end of the living room which let to the room with a toilet, since the bath room did not have a connected toilet. Then to the right side of the living room was short hallway with his and his godfather's bedrooms connected, and at the end of the hallfway was the old and mostly unused dojo that his father had run when he had been alive.
There were 3 bedrooms, spares for students, that were connected to the dojo itself.
Thus, that was the layout of the house.
"Problem Lover, there aren't enough bedrooms for everyone." Ichika pointed out as she walked towards Naruto with spear in hand. Most of them didn't bring a ton of their things with them, but the fact remained that even when she scooped out the house for dangers, she didn't find enough bedrooms for all of them to use. "Also, the dojo is dirty." She pointed out as an after thought.
"It's mostly been unused for years, though sometimes I use the gym equipment. I bet most of the spare rooms are dusty... not much I can do about the issue of not enough rooms. I can clear out one of the rooms." Naruto stated, thinking of his godfather and his now mostly unused room. He could take all of his stuff out and put it in the storage area of the library, since his godfather wasn't going to be using that room for at least a year.
Ichika hummed in thought.
"We can just share rooms, with 4 rooms and 9 of us, it will just be 2 to 3 rooms, and 3 to 1 room." Misa walked by with a duster, cleaning up some dust from the pictures of previous students over the years that littered the hallway. Some people were already going around to different rooms to scoop things out on their own.
Shino had taken to investigating the library, because she wanted to see what all kinds of books were available when she learned there was a personal library.
Futaba was in the kitchen cooking dinner with the freshly bought ingredients, and she was actually getting some help from Itsuyo with some of the more basic cooking.
Kururi was in the living room watching TV.
Yakumo and Natsuki were using the bath, while Mutsumi was out looking for a job to help provide income so that they didn't just blow through Naruto's money for their needs. Those who were school aged would be attending school, while others who were older than school age would be looking for part time jobs to help out. Mutsumi was school age, but wanted to look for something to help out anyway.
"Anyway Lover, since Natsuki said you saved her life, and you seem brave enough, I welcome you to try a Val Love with me to raise my level. I have nothing to do but train and patrol the area, and my beloved sisters are all Level 1 right now, so I can't leave them alone." Ichika stated as she crossed her arms under her sizable breasts.
"We can't do Val Loves just yet, we haven't gotten a list of them yet." Misa passed by them again.
Val Loves, Tasks or Dates that would increase the romance and bond between them and their lover, which would increase their battle levels when they took their Valkyrie forms. Since they all just became lovers, they were all Level 1, and at the moment only 3 of them could really fight at Level 1 without the need for transforming into their Valkyrie forms. Futaba, Ichika, and herself were the only ones capable of fighting at the level of a demon without first transforming.
"I'm going to go train out back then, you guys can decide what rooms you want... but I'm keeping my own room, and I'm not sharing it. Actually, I need to fix the AC first." Naruto stood his ground on that.
Not that either girl fought him over it.
They just nodded or shrugged in acceptance of him wanting to keep his room, as if the thought of forcing him out of it had never even crossed their minds. He raised an eyebrow at how mature they were being, before he remembered that they were closer to his age than they were to their sisters. He would have been out of high school by now if he actuallt graduated his final year.
Stupid godfather, forcing him to write books instead of studying.
-At the AC later-
"It's soooo hot."
It got even hotter, and without the AC the house heated up insanely quickly, which was causing several people to already start sweating. Even Yakumo and Natsuki who were dressed in casual clothes after their bath were sweating, while Naruto kept working on getting the AC up and running again. The fact Futaba had been using the kitchen to cook dinner had only made the house heat up even quicker.
"So, I'll stay with Shino and Kururi in Naruto's godfather's room." Futaba looked at one of the elder sisters and the youngest.
"If it is not too much trouble, may I spend some nights in the library?"
"Onii-chan, stop working on the AC and come eat with us!" Kururi called out to Naruto. "I'll fix the AC later if you're struggling, I can make it so much better, get it really cold in here." Kururi seemed confident and proud, which was never a good combination in anyway. You should either be confident or proud, but when you were confident and proud, it could lead to arrogance which could lead to overconfidence and mistakes.
Yakumo looked at Naruto with a raised eyebrow when Kururu jumped on his stomach, and he didn't show a visible reaction to it. She was the only raised eyebrow though as Naruto just kept working.
"This scouse is amazing, the ingredients are better than I expected. The nattveror is always the best meal of the day." Natsuki gushed as she ate her sister's food.
"Of course, my beloved Futaba made this-"
"Scouse is-"
"A stew, and nattveror is what the norse call dinner. I'm well aware." Naruto stopped Kururi's explanation of what was being said. The culture was mostly unknown to him, but he wasn't completely ignorant of it all as well. "I have 3 sisters overseas, and 1 calls me all the time to talk her nerdy viking speak. She's a little delusional, but I try to learn enough to have nice conversations with her." Naruto explained to the youngest.
His statement got the interest of the rest as well.
"So you have your own beloved little sisters."
"Big, I have 3 older sisters, though 1 of them is closer to my age, but she's a runt. Haven't seen her in years, not since my Mother sent me to live with Mom and Dad." Naruto rolled his eyes as the foul memories came back to him. "My Dad remarried after my Mother left him, and Mom raised my as her own son. Still, I can't ignore the fact I do have other siblings, even if I never see them." Naruto opened up a little.
No reason not to tell a little of his past.
Still, the air was tense since Naruto didn't exactly say something that could be easily related to by others, even more so when Naruto made zero attempt to hide the contempt in his voice when he spoke of his mother.
"So... your Father is your birth father."
"Yep, but I took Mom's last name, so, you're all Valkyries... and you all look so different from one another, same dad, but different moms?" Naruto asked them in return. He could understand the feeling of having a sibling that only shared a single parent with you.
Awkward silence.
*ZAP*
"Gah... motherfucker shocked me!" Naruto shouted when the AC kicked back on and he was shocked, his spiked up hair flairing out even more from the unexpected shock. He sat up and Kururi moved to his lap as he scooted himself closer to the table, where he looked at the dinner placed in front of him.
He deadpanned himself.
It looked good, but at the same time it looked extremely heavy on the stomach, which was not a great thing when he planned to go outside and train into the night. It was also very cramped around the dinner table, with there not being a lot of space to move your elbows around.
"So what was your mother like?"
Naruto ignored the question.
"This is tasty." Naruto stated, closing his eyes and not even looking in the same direction as the girl who had asked the question. His body language alone was enough to tell everyone that they weren't allowed to ask questions about his mother.
They were allowed to ask technically, but he would ignore the question and the girl until the question was dropped.
"What was your dad like?"
"He's awesome, he was the one who built the dojo extension. He had this way with getting people to learn martial arts, even difficult students bonded with him. He always did the right thing, even if it wasn't the easy thing to do. He was strong and kind, I get a lot of my looks from him." Naruto proudly proclaimed how awesome his father was. He opened up right then and there as he chowed down. "He wasn't as good of a cook as mom was, but he taught me what little he did know. Mom was an awesome cook, this doesn't even compare to the food she could make."
"My beloved sister is the best cook." Ichika argued, no hesitation.
Naruto glared at her.
"Eh? I hate veggies, and my mom could make veggies so tasty even a picky eater like me liked them. This food is tasty, but my mom had experience, and she had the love of a mom in every bite. It was a motherly home cooked meal, filled with the love she had for her husband and child." Naruto leaned closer to Ichika.
"My beloved little sisters made this, which makes it the most delicious, no arguments can be had. I bet your mom was a great cook, but Futaba is the best cook, period."
The argument was amusing for everyone who was happy that the awkwardness in the air was gone for now.
"So, since we're your lovers, have you ever dated a girl before?"
Naruto hummed in thought.
"When I was 15 I had a girl confess to me after I saved her and her friends from..." Naruto paused for a moment. "... well, it didn't work out. I was more interested in fighting strong people, and she was interested in love. Back then, I didn't see romance as anything but something that would make me weak. I've even got a scar on my head from those days." Naruto stated as he lifted the hair on his forehead up to show a scar that went into his hairline.
With his hair down it wasn't visible at all.
"Oooooh, I understand. Looks like you took a blunt object to the head, those usually leave nasty scars. You must have a tough head." Ichika nodded as she leaned closer to appraise the scar. "So, how did you get that scar."
"A gang of jerks was holding 3 girls hostage, one of them was my ex before we started dating. He threatened to hurt them if I fought back, so I had to just stand there and take a beating. Fists, bats, chains, and the worst part was I didn't even like them, didn't know 2 of them at all, and 1 of them treated me like crap."
"So what made you take the beating... a sense of justice?" Natsuki asked with stars in her eyes.
The story was so romantic in nature.
"No clue, I just refused to let them get hurt."
"That is literally what a sense of justice is."
"No, a sense of justice is when you do something because it's the right thing to do. I do things because I don't like the feeling when I don't do the right thing." Naruto argued with Natsuki's flawed logic. He didn't see that he just didn't want to admit that he acted on a sense of justice. "I'm stronger than the average guy, so of course I'm going to take a beating to protect somebody weaker than me." Naruto puffed his chest out in pride.
Naruto stood up and Kururi fell out of his lap.
"I'm going to go train outside, you girls do... whatever you want while I'm training." Naruto could feel the house cooling down.
"I can help you train."
"No thanks, you just get used to the house."
Naruto left the girls in the house alone with that, and with not much more to do, they started to go off to the different parts of the house just to explore it.
As "open" as their lover seemed to be with them, none of them could help but feel like he wasn't being completely open with any of them. For most of them, that was expected from a man that had just pretty much been forced to taken them in and accept them as lovers. For others, it was annoying that he was keeping a wall around his heart.
"I'm going to clean the dojo." Ichika stated as she went in the direction of the dojo.
She could not stand having a training area be as dirty as she saw that place.
