Unknown - Uh...I never confirmed they'd be in this. Or get their memories back. Like...no, that wasn't confirmed. This takes place a while after No Way Home ends, so they're getting ready to go to MIT and Peter has his own problems to take care of as of now.
KidOuttaCauses - I am unclear about it right now. Let's just see where the road takes us.
The next morning, Peter woke up when his alarm went off and he groaned. He had a long night rescuing people, some who condemned him for it and just wanted a little while longer to sleep. He got up and made his way to the bathroom to get ready to head out to the snowy New York.
The holidays finally passed, at least now he didn't have to feel even more alone than he usually does. Spending Christmas Eve and Day talking to the gravestone of the family member that the world remembers while the rest of the world doesn't remember you.
To say he's had the worst Christmas' would be a flat-out lie. This was indeed the worst Christmas he had ever had. Probably the worst Christmas anyone on the planet has ever had, possibly even in the multiverse.
Once he was ready to head out, he had his Spider-Man suit underneath his clothing, thermal cloth in the suit to keep him warm, and made his way out to get some coffee. But the main difference this time was he wasn't going to be going to the same shop where MJ worked. It just hurt too much to see her and think that she doesn't remember anything that they've been through.
It's his own fault. If he hadn't used that spell, didn't screw with the multiverse, none of this would have happened. They might not have gotten into college, but at least they would be together.
But he can't keep holding onto the past. He can't keep hoping that she'll remember him. Besides, in a few short months, she'll be going to MIT with Ned, like they always wanted, and he's going to go to Empire State University. In the meantime, he does a little part-time job at FEAST in honor of May's legacy. Even if nobody there knows they were related, he still tells people that she was a relative. Just because nobody remembers doesn't mean people can't at least know.
As Peter went into the kitchen to drop off a few dishes, he looked over to the island where he first met Norman Osborn, he was sitting there talking to Aunt May, distraught, confused, and scared.
"I didn't know where else to go. Someone's living in my house. Oscorp doesn't exist. My son...Sometimes I'm not myself. I'm someone else. And every time he's in control, I can't remember. And now I'm here-In this place-In this city, and I don't know...I don't know why what's going on with me? And I don't...It doesn't make sense."
Peter knew he did the right thing in fixing him and sending them all home, he just wished it could've happened without his aunt dying. If only he completed Osborn's antidote first, he would've been cured when May came to rescue him the first time in Happy's condo. Or even when he saved Otto, if he had put his focus on the antidote for Osborn first, he would've been cured first and the Goblin wouldn't have gotten the other villains to reconsider.
But he knows there's too much trouble in doing things to mess with space and time. Who knows what the repercussions would be to changing her death?
Finishing up his shift, he saw he needed to get out and take some photos for Jameson to pay off his rent before he gets thrown out of his apartment.
As the night began to set on the city, Elsa held herself close as she walked down the streets while it began to snow. The snow wasn't really bothering her it was the only thing that was bringing her a bit of peace. She had no idea where she was, no way of getting home, and had no way of getting help.
"Hey there, pretty lady." Someone said, causing Elsa to look back and see a few people in an alley as another whistled and started to follow her.
Elsa immediately had a thought of what they wanted and picked up her pace. As she kept walking, she saw she was about to walk into a dead end and turned to see the men were still following and even had a few other friends. She ran off, only to be cornered.
"Please...leave me alone." Elsa pleaded, getting ready to take her gloves off and fight them off.
But that's when several webs came down and yanked them away from her, causing Elsa to look in shock when Spider-Man came in and landed in-between the two of them. Keeping Elsa away from the people and quickly checking up on her.
"Are you okay?" Peter asked her, helping her stand up straight.
Elsa looked and was shocked to see someone in such a strange outfit, but also sees he also had powers like her. "Yeah."
Peter nodded then turned back over to the criminals and was ready to take them down. "Did you guys really bring these many people for her?" He was already getting irritated and angry by these people because they were going to harass this girl who seems lost.
One of them came out and pulled a gun at him. "This doesn't concern you, Spider-Murderer!"
Peter almost physically flinched at the reminder of hearing that. Getting back at the problem at hand, he shot a web out as he shot another out to another person, followed by him crossing arms and shooting another one. Once the two webs connected to them, he pulled the webs and caused the two of them hit and knocked the two unconscious.
One comes running up to Peter as he kicked him in the chest, followed by him flipping over and kicking another in the head. One sent a punch towards Peter, but he blocked with his hand and backhanded the man.
Two ran over to him from behind, but Peter punched them both before they came too close and knocked them both down. Seeing he took them all down, he looked over and held his hand out to Elsa.
"You okay, Ma'am?" Peter asked and Elsa took his hand and got off the ground.
"T...thank you!" Elsa cried as she pulled Peter into a hug. "I didn't want to think what would happen if you didn't show up."
"It's okay," Peter said and noticed what she was wearing. "Are you not cold?"
"Uh, no. The cold doesn't bother me." Elsa assured him as she let him go.
"Okay, I guess," Peter said and started to leave her. "Get home safe."
"But wait, I don't know where it is!" Elsa informed him before he could leave, getting Peter to stop and turn to face her. "I...I don't know where I am."
Peter looked around and looked at her outfit and had a bad feeling about this. "Are you from another universe?"
"Another what?" Elsa asked, not understanding what he was asking.
"Did..." Peter tries his best to make this a simple question as possible. "Did you get almost literally pulled from your home and land here?"
Elsa thought of how she got here and saw that was basically how it happened. "Yeah, I guess."
Peter was shocked to hear that the multiverse might still be broken and now this poor woman was pulled into this world. But he needed to check something out. "Do you know who Spider-Man is?"
"Isn't that you?" Elsa asked, that being what they called him.
"So...you don't know who I am under this mask?" Peter clarifies, making sure he doesn't need to deal with more villains that know him.
"Should I?" Elsa asked.
Peter sighed in relief for that, but then saw that he couldn't do anything with her. Taking her to FEAST, she'll need at least an ID. He needed to do something to help her. It's what Aunt May would have wanted.
"Come with me." Peter offered her as he held his hand out for her.
Whilst that was happening, in Mexico, across the multiverse, there was someone on the run. Something that'll make Peter question if this was all his fault...
Eddie Brock was on the run due to everything that had gone down in San Francisco with Carnage. He and the Symbiote he bonded with named Venom were both hiding out.
But that's when the entire room they were staying in began to warp around them and a giant light came around them.
"What's happening?!" Venom cried in Eddie's mind.
"I don't know!" Eddie cried as he tried to sit up and the flash of light landed him in some different yet similar hotel room.
"What the hell is that?!" Venom asked when he spotted something on the bed Eddie turned to face and saw it was a towel in the shape of a swan.
"Oh, that's just a towel," Eddie assured Venom as he looked around. "What happened? Where are we? What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything!" Venom claimed when they heard a tv going off.
"It's been a few weeks since the fiasco on the Statue of Liberty," Jameson said on the screen, just when Venom morphed and walked over to the tv and sees some photos of Spider-Man appearing on the screen that Peter took. "...And Spider-Man's cultists continue to contend that the vile vigilante is a hero! Well, if he were a hero, he'd unmask himself and tell us who he really is! Because only a coward conceals his identity. Only a coward hides his true intentions!"
"That...guy." Venom said as he licked the screen.
Back to the present day, Peter brought Elsa to his apartment and showed his face to her, knowing that he was going to need to trust her if she was going to trust him. Besides, she wasn't going to be telling anyone. And on her way, she did her best to explain how she ended up here to Peter so he could compare stories with her.
The elevator reached his floor as they both walked off and made it through the hallway.
"...and then she asked me 'do you wanna build a snowman?' And I...I was so heartbroken I couldn't respond." Elsa explained the last conversation she had with her sister before this happened, leaving out her powers as much as she could. It's not exactly a secret she could tell anyone, she wanted to know she could trust Peter fully. Giving her a place was definitely a step in the right direction for her. "I wanted to be there for her, but...I didn't know how to."
"Yeah, I lost my parents when I was a kid," Peter informed her as they made it to his place. "My Aunt May raised me since then."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Elsa apologized as Peter opened the door and showed her his small apartment. He went in and placed the key down on a hook at the door and dropped his Spider-Man suit he had in his bag on the ground. "This is where you live?"
"Yeah," Peter confirmed. "Not fit for a Princess, I know. It may not look like much, but this is New York City. You're not here for comfortable living. You're here for the loudmouth drivers, amazing views, and the constant alien invasions."
"Aliens?" Elsa asked as she spun to face him.
"Yeah, it's a running joke for those who live here," Peter admitted as he quickly took some sheets out from the closet to set up the couch for himself. "Chitauri, Children of Thanos, even a quick invasion from Ultron." He then looked and saw she had no idea who any of those people were, obviously he should have figured as much. "I'll explain them to you when o get you caught up enough."
"And it's 2024?" Elsa asked, as the last time she checked, it was 1843.
"Yeah, me and a bunch of other people around the world were killed for five years, but the Avengers then brought us back," Peter explained how he lost five years of his life and came back to be thrown into a similar but completely strange world. "Okay. The bed is set up already, there's a bathroom next to the closet." He gestured over to the bathroom for her. "The water takes a minute to warm up though." He then looked at her outfit and knew that wasn't something she could wear to go outside. "And tomorrow I'll have to go and see a friend about getting you home. If that doesn't work out, and you are gonna be here a while, we're going to have to do something about your wardrobe."
"What's wrong with my dress?" Elsa asked and looked herself over and felt she was dressed fine.
"No, you're fine for someone in the 1800s," Peter assured her, but also knew she needed to change. "But you have to update if you're going to fit in around here, especially in winter. Walking around in one layer of clothing will easily draw attention from someone."
Elsa looked over Peter's outfit and compared herself to all the other women she has come across on her way here and saw what he means.
"Okay, I guess." Elsa supposed.
"Great. I'll get you some clothes from the FEAST shelter if we can't get you home. I'll have the chair tonight, and you can have the bed." Peter tells her as he laid out the blanket for himself.
"Wait, are you sure?" Elsa asked, not wanting to impose on this kind stranger like this.
"Trust me, I have a guilty conscience. So, if I make you sleep on that chair, I'll feel too sorry for you to sleep." Peter promised her as he went to the bathroom to change.
Elsa looked over and leaned down on his dresser to look out the window and was surprised at where she currently is. She's in a strange new world, far away from home, her sister, and everything else she once knew.
But what she and Peter didn't know... others were pulled from their homes.
A while later, Eddie was talking everything out with a barkeeper about the situation.
"Okay..." Eddie whispered as he thinks he finally has this all down. "So...you're saying that this whole place...it's just a ton of...super people."
"And he has been saying it for hours." Venom complained, the two of them being extremely drunk.
"Alright." Eddie finally has that part wrapped around in his head. "Tell me again, because I'm an idiot. There was a billionaire, he had a tin suit...and he could fly, right?"
The barman then showed a sign of respect for the Iron Man and confirmed it to Eddie.
"Okay. And there's an angry green man." Eddie clarified.
"Hulk." The Barman reminded Eddie.
"Hulk," Eddie repeated.
"Yeah, and you thought Lethal Protector was a shit name!" Venom exclaimed.
"Yeah, because...it is," Eddie replied to Venom. "Now, again, tell me about your alien purple man who loves stones. 'Cause, tell you what man, aliens do not love stones."
"Eddie, don't start."
"No, wanna know what they love? Eating brains!" Eddie cried as he slammed his fist against the table. "Because that's what they do, all right?"
"SeƱor, he made my family disappear." The barman informed Eddie. "For five years."
"Five years?" Eddie asked in surprise. "That's a long time." He then thought of his next move and remembered the guy off the tv, thinking maybe he has something to do with this and quickly put down a few dollars to pay for his tab. "You know, maybe we should go to New York and speak to this...Spider-Man."
"Eddie!" Venom cried as he forced Eddie to stand up. "We are drunk!" He then stretched out his limbs after sitting for what felt like hours. "Let's go skinny dip!"
"I don't think we should skinny-dip," Eddie told Venom, thinking they should be heading for New York. "We gotta...hightail to New York. Long trip."
