The feast surprised Charlie and Emily. All this for one person? Danny could only rub the back of his head as he smiled sheepishly. Still, they watched as everyone else ate, not touching their food.
"Um, right. Frostbite?" Danny said, making the leader turn.
"I should have mentioned that Charlie and Emily are..." Danny started.
"An Angel from Heaven and a Demon from Hell? We know, Great One." He said, surprising the three.
"Does that have to do with what you said about me and Charlie being here before?" Emily asked.
"Indeed. The Great One had brought you both here before. At least, the one from its timeline." Frostbite said.
"Where is this timeline visit of me?" Danny asked.
"We don't know. He disappeared around the time The Three Lords appeared." Frostbite said.
Danny frowns. He hoped that this version of him was alright and making sure these Three Lords weren't causing any trouble. He then turned to the girls, who still hadn't touched their food.
"Are you going to eat?" He asked.
"Well, Angels don't need food. But I do enjoy a good slushie." Emily said.
"And the food here is different from Hell. I'm not sure if I should eat it." Charlie added.
Danny thought about it. He could see their point.
"Well, I've eaten here many times before. While Ghosts don't need to eat, they do because it reminds them of being alive. At least, that's what I heard from my parents." Danny said.
Charlie and Emily looked at each other before looking at their food. Finally, they picked up their forks and put a bit of the food into their mouths. To their surprise, it tasted good! They started to eat more of it, surprising Danny for a second. Everyone soon finished as Charlie and Emily sighed in bliss.
"That was so fucking good!" Charlie said, patting her belly.
"If Sera was here, she would tell you to watch your language, but I agree," Emily said, smiling.
"Glad you enjoy it," Frostbite said, walking up.
Danny then sighed, it was time to leave.
"Frostbite...thanks for the food, but I think we need to go," Danny said.
"Are you sure, Great One?" Frostbite asked.
"Yes. You know very well I can't stay here when the planet is in danger. And if Charlie's and Emily's homes are caught in the crossfire then I know they would want to save them as well." Danny said.
Frostbite frowns before smiling.
"Very well, Great One. It's been so long since we heard of your heroics to protect the planet and the Ghost Zone." Frostbite said, patting Danny on the shoulder.
"While I can't give you the Infi-Map, I can point you where to go." He said, making Danny smile.
"Thanks, Frostbite," Danny said, smiling.
Charlie and Emily also nodded in thanks, ready to move on as well.
Later,
After waving goodbye, the three headed toward the portal that could lead them into the human world. Emily was carrying Charlie again, who looked a bit excited.
"You know, I've never been on Earth before." She said.
"Same here," Emily said.
"Well, depending on how much has changed, I'll give you girls a tour," Danny said.
They nodded before chatting about what they heard about Earth. Danny threw in his two cents, clearing up some things that were false or anything that he did know. However, the three didn't know they were being watched.
"Is that welp?"
A robot-like ghost with flaming green hair watched the three fly through the Ghost Zone, surprised to see his old prey. He also looked much younger, too.
"Well, looks like the hunt is still on." Skulker grinned.
A bit later,
"Really?" Charlie and Emily asked as Danny told them about his friends.
"Yeah, Tucker thought it would be funny if he could get a picture of Dash's teddy bears and embarrass him for some time. He was unable to, and we thought he deserved it after what happened.
"And he would hit on us?" Emily asked.
"Yep, he sees himself as a "ladies' man" but most of the time he gets turned down or slapped for his troubles. So, take easy on him?" Danny told them.
"Sure thing, Daniel," Emily said, nodding.
"I'll let him know I'm taken," Charlie said.
Danny nods, glad to hear that. Suddenly, a net covered him and dragged him away from the girls, who cried out in shock. Danny found himself hitting the ground before hearing an old voice.
"Well, welp, it's been a long time."
Danny looked up to see Skulker but noticed something different about his armor.
"Skulker? What happened to you?" Danny asked, seeing he was damaged in some parts.
His armor had huge holes in it. One of the arms wasn't even covered, exposing the wires and machinery. His right leg was barely attached to the rest of his body, looking like it could break at any second.
"It's a long story, one you won't be hearing," Skulker said, aiming a blaster at him.
Only to be blasted by a fireball that knocked him away. Emily landed on the ground, setting Charlie down as well.
"Are you okay?" Emily asked him.
"Yeah, this net works against my powers. I'm going to need help to take it off." Danny said, having Emily pull the net off him.
"Who was that?" Charlie asked.
"That was Skulker, the self-proclaim Greatest Ghost Hunter in the Ghost Zone. He hunts other Ghosts." Danny said, getting up.
"A Ghost that hunts Ghosts?" Emily asked, surprised.
"And I'm the top prize. He wants to have my "pelt" at the foot of his bed, or my head on a wall." Danny said, shocking them.
"Okay, I might be a demon, but even I don't go that far," Charlie said, looking sick.
"I don't wish that kind of fate on anyone," Emily asked, looking uneasy.
"Trust me, he never stops mentioning it when we meet up," Danny told them before his Ghost Sense appeared.
He quickly turns and sees a missile heading right for them.
"Move!" Danny shouted, grabbing Charlie.
Both he and Emily jumped into the air, seeing the missile hit the ground. Danny looked up and saw another net heading for him. Charlie quickly threw a fireball, burning it away. Danny then notices she has horns sticking from her head as her eyes seem to turn red. Emily flew up, also looking a bit different. Her chest and halo had an eye appearing on them.
Skulker flew up, looking a bit surprised. However, he soon smiles.
"Well, it seems I now have all three of my prey." He said, confusing them.
"What do you mean all three?" Danny asked.
"Let's just stay I found new prey to hunt during my hunt with you." Skulker smirks.
"MOVE!" Emily shouted, sensing something heading for them.
Danny and Emily quickly jumped to the side as a white beam hit Skulker, knocking him away and destroying more of his armor. Skulker landed on the ground before chains made out of fire wrapped around him.
"Skulker..."
He looked shocked before seeing three shadow images appear in the skies of the Ghost Zone.
"You are hunting without our permission." The Middle one said.
"You know what happens if you hunt without our permission." The Third one said.
"State your case."The First One said.
"I wasn't hunting anyone!" Skulker said, but the Third Shadow could tell he was lying.
"Remember what we said about lying to us?" It said.
"Speak the truth." The first one said.
"OKAY! Yes! I was hunting someone!" Skulker, fearing the three.
The Middle Shadow turned to the other two, both of them nodding. With that, the Middle Shadow faces Skulker once more.
"For lying, you will receive your punishment. For hunting outside our laws, you will be sentenced to four years in the pits of hell, cleaning each ring from top to bottom." The Middle Shadow said.
"But, but..." Skulker started.
"Enough. You know the rules. Your armor will be fully repaired since your true form will take too long to finish even one side of the ring." The Third Shadow said.
"Enjoy it, Skulker. You have some friends waiting for you." The Middle Shadow said before the ground below him opened up.
Danny, Charlie, and Emily watched as hands reached out and dragged the ghost hunt inside before closing. It was like he wasn't even there.
"I do hope that you're alright young ones..."
The First shadow turned to them, only to freeze at the sight of them.
"Angel? What's the matter?" The Middle Shadow asked as it and the Third Shadow turned to see the three.
"Well, this unexpected." The Third Shadow said.
"Indeed, Demon. To think we would see them again." The Middle Shadow said.
"You must be the Three Lords?" Danny asked.
"Indeed. And we know who you are, Danny Phantom." The Middle Shadow said.
"Emily Seraphim." The First Shadow said.
"Charlotte Morningstar." The Third Shadow said.
All three of them looked shocked to hear that they knew them.
"How?" Charlie started.
"In due time..." The First Shadow said.
"However, we are feeling a little bored and wouldn't mind some fun." The Third Shadow said.
"Until then, continue your quest. We'll be waiting for you." The Middle Shadow said before they disappeared.
Danny, Charlie, and Emily looked at each other, lost and confused.
"Does anyone else feel like they're missing something?" Danny asked, getting the two girls to nod.
"Good, I was worried it was just me," Danny said, sighing.
And done. So, after a bit of time in the Far Frozen, the three were told where to find a portal that would take them to Earth, only to run into Skulker. Though he was ready to hunt all three of them, The Three Lords appeared, punishing him for hunting out of their agreement. The Three Lords are very powerful, scaring most ghosts in the Ghost Zone.
However, they seem to know who Danny, Charlie, and Emily are. What could that mean? I already some some guesses in the reviews but I'm not going to say anything until they truly show themselves.
And before anyone comments about Emily drinking a slushie after mentioning she doesn't eat, I got it from an image that I found online. It had Emily drinking from a cup, but I didn't know what drink she had. So, I made it a shushie.
