The beginning of this chapter was someone else's idea, but I don't remember who it was, and as for the rest of the chapter, the idea is mine.

Fire Island
Natsu was getting ready to go to the guild when a knock caught his attention. He opened his front door to find someone from the Magic Council standing there with a serious expression.
Natsu raised an eyebrow. "What would someone like you want with me? I haven't destroyed anything this time," he questioned rudely.
"That may be true, but that is not why I'm here." The man pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and looked at its contents. Without returning his eyes back to Natsu, he said, "Natsu Dragneel, on behalf of the Magic Council, we would like to know what had transpired here in Magnolia on the day of Easter. It says here that a lot of the townsfolk and all Fairy Tail Mages - minus yourself - have been emitted to the hospital to get their stomach pumped. We of the Council want to know why that is."
Natsu scrunched up his face. There was no way he could tell the Council that Zeref cursed him to be encased in a chocolate egg for everyone near him to eat until it wore off. They would want to know why Zeref was cursing him and how long he's been doing it, which were questions he didn't have answers for.
"All I know is that everyone was cursed to eat a bunch of chocolate eggs, and I was the only one not affected," he explained before slipping past the councilman, who tried to stop him, but Natsu ignored him. He needed to get to the guild, find a job, and avoid everyone from the Magic Council for a while until the Easter incident blew over.
Natsu was still in the forest when he came across a burning bush. He paused, wondering how a bush was on fire when it wasn't dry or hot out. He decided to investigate. He walked over to the fire with zero worries and sniffed the flames. It smelled normal, but he could tell there was magic involved. He opened his mouth wide and took a bite. Forest leaves and burning trees filled his mouth, but he was eating from a bush, so why was there a forest taste to it?
Natsu pulled away to think, but purple flames covered him as soon as he stood straight. He was startled, thinking someone tried to attack him, but he didn't smell anyone nearby. He tried to eat the new flames, but it was too late, the flames disappeared.
The pink-haired dragon slayer was confused as to what happened. He looked around, but the burning bush was gone along with the forest he knew. He didn't recognize where he was. The forest he stood in was filled with tall trees with a thick canopy. The air smelled of the forest, ocean breeze, and ash.
'What's burning?' Natsu wondered, so he climbed a tree and poked his head out of the leaves at the top. In the distance was smoke, but they were coming from more than one place. The sky was dark with black smoke, causing the island - for he was surrounded by water - to look like it had a permanent storm, but there was no rain or lightning. "Where the heck am I?" Natsu questioned aloud, knowing that Zeref had to be behind this.
He jumped back down to the grown in hopes of finding a note. He found it beside a pile of leaves that sparked and burned. Natsu picked up the note and began to read.
If you are reading this, then that means you found my cursed fire. You already see what it did. It sent you to this island that has no food, only fire. The only way off the island is if your friends find you. If they don't find you within a week, I'll come and get you myself. - Zeref
"No food…for a week…? HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE?!" Natsu shouted to the heavens for no one but him to hear.
"Has anyone seen Natsu?" asked Happy.
"No, but I'm sure he'll be here soon," said Lucy.
"I hope so. He said we're going on a mission together because we need money to buy some food."
"Don't you normally catch your food?" asked Gray.
"Sometimes, but Natsu likes to eat just about everything, and he likes some of the shops' baked goods," replied Happy.
Makarov came out of his office. "I got bad news guys! Zeref did it again!" he called out.
"What did he do to Natsu this time?" asked Erza.
"I'll read the note he left on my desk." Makarov held up the note and began to read.
If Natsu has not shown up yet, then it's possible that he found my cursed fire bush. He is now on an uncharted island with no food, only bushfires thanks to the hot climate. You have till a week to find him. - Zeref
The guild was silent for five seconds until Gray broke it. "Now he's sending Natsu to islands?"
"Who sent Dragneel to an island?" Everyone snapped their heads around to face the owner of the voice, which turn out to be someone from the Magic Council.
"Why are you here?" asked Makarov.
The man's eye twitched and the corner of his lips turned down a hair. "I was looking for Natsu Dragneel because we of the Council want to know what happened to everyone here that caused you all to get your stomachs pumped, but I see he's not here. So who sent him away?"
Makarov knew he couldn't tell the man about Zeref cursing Natsu, so he said, "A client sent Natsu to an island. It would seem there's a bit of a fire problem."
The man's eyes narrowed. "I see, when will he be back?"
"In about a week. Would you like me to contact you when he returns?"
"That depends, was Dragneel responsible for the hospital trip?"
"No, someone was pulling a prank on us, but it happened before Natsu got to the guild." Makarov was impressed to see the man's eyes narrow even more.
"Alright, I'll leave for now. Please do contact me when Dragneel returns." The man turned and left the guildhall, much to everyone's relief.
"I think he knows we're hiding something," said Wendy.
"The Magic Council always thinks we're hiding something, but we've proved them wrong every time," said Makarov.
"Yeah, but this time we are," said Gray. "I understand we can't let them know about Natsu being cursed by Zeref, they will ask way too many questions."
"Questions we don't have answers for. Now, let's get a ship ready and find Natsu," ordered Makarov.
"Right!"
Natsu was ready to roll up and faint in a ditch somewhere on this evil island. He had been here for five days searching for something to eat other than fire. He thought he found some berries, but they turned out to be poisonous. Luckily they weren't deadly, but they made him think the guildhall was somewhere on the island, only he couldn't find it. After that, he thought he saw Gray, but he was a girl carrying flowers made of ice and trying to hand him one, but as soon as he touched the flower out of confusion, it turned into a snake, which tried to bite him. He decided to avoid those berries for as long as he lived.
His belly growled, mimicking a dragon. He wrapped his arms around himself and looked for more fire to eat. Fire helped keep the hunger at bay, but he wondered what he did to tick Zeref off.
Zeref sat in his room questioning if he was being too cruel to his dear brother. It was supposed to be a prank that wouldn't last long, maybe a day or two, and help him stay away from odd questions from the Magic Council. The island wasn't far from the mainland, so Fairy Tail should have almost found him right away, but they didn't.
'Maybe I should get him. He's not used to having this much lack of food,' he thought, checking the lacrima that showed Fairy Tail. They were on Cristiana heading for the island. 'Or maybe not.'
Natsu swore that when he got his hands on Zeref, he would somehow change all of his food into mud and force it down his throat because that was what he was doing now to himself! Okay, it wasn't mud, but there was dirt on it. He was picking grass off the ground and eating it. He felt like he was going to turn into a sheep if he ate one more blade. He looked around, hoping Zeref didn't hear his thoughts somehow.
The bush next to him caught fire, so he quickly ate that instead of risking turning into a sheep. As soon as he was done eating, he heard something coming from the sky. Thanks to the thick leaves, he couldn't see what was making the loud noise. He ran to the first tree he saw and climbed it, and when his head poked out above the canopy of leaves, the noise was much louder and he saw that god had sent him a beautiful horse with wings of an angel, but why was it so loud? That was when he realized, much to his dismay, it wasn't a pegasus, but rather Blue Pegasus' bomber, Cristina. His stomach growled and turned at the same time at the mere sight of the moving death trap, even though he knew it was there to get him off this god-forsaken island.
"You okay, Natsu?!" Lucy called down in concern.
Natsu smiled at the sight of her, and called back, "Yeah, just get me off of this thing!" A rope came down with instructions for him to tie it around himself. Once he did as told, he was pulled up onto the bomber. He was expecting to feel sick as soon as he stood inside, but shock took over when he didn't feel anything. Eve explained that they made their bomber be able to carry dragon slayers without them feeling sick, but they could turn it off if need be. He prayed they didn't.
Instead of pranking him with the lever, they gave him enough food fit for a king. He dove in like the food was a pile of leaves in autumn, and devoured everything in reach. "You guys are the best!" he exclaimed between each bite of his meal.
"Natsu, be careful! You almost ate my shoe!" Gray shouted.
"Then what's it doing in my food?!"
"Not even ten minutes and they're already fighting," sighed Lucy.
"Ay!"
This one wasn't as funny, but the ending I think made up for it…hopefully. :/
Natsu: I was hungry! DX
Enj/Dark: Yeah, but the point was for you to eat fire only. You eat enough food to feed an army.
Zeref: She's not wrong, but this one was a little cruel.
Enj/Dark: It was, sorry Natsu.
Natsu: Just don't do it again. :(
Zeref: We won't. Please review!
