It has been a while since I updated this. The last chapter wasn't the greatest, but this one should make up for it. Enjoy!

Zeref, the black wizard, was standing behind a tree looking around it as his little brother Natsu walked past with his blue cat friend, Happy. He had been following the two since they left the town of their latest job request, which was an hour ago. Natsu decided to skip the train and walk through the forest so he wouldn't get sick. Happy complained, but Natsu's excuse was that walking was better for the body than sitting in a deathtrap.

Zeref looked ahead in the direction Natsu was going and saw a small town beyond the trees. It would take them three minutes to enter the village and a chance for Zeref to spring his plan.

"Hey, Happy! Let's get something to eat; I'm starving!" said Natsu with a joyful grin as he eyed his friend. His decision made a sinister smirk appear on Zeref's face.

Three minutes later, the two Fairy Tail mages and their stalker were in the town. Zeref tailed Natsu and Happy until they entered a cute cafe. As they entered the front, Zeref entered the back, but he had to sneak in so no one would notice him. He looked around the kitchen and saw three men and two women cooking or baking goods around the room.

Zeref sneaked around the kitchen until he hid behind a shelf close to a storage room and the door leading to the main cafe area. He watched through the window and saw Natsu and Happy sitting at one of the booths. No one greeted them yet, which was acceptable for Zeref.

A young man with brown hair came closer to the kitchen with an empty tray. Zeref hid further behind the shelf until the man came close enough for him to grab him. The black wizard used a sleeping spell on the young man and hid his form in the storage room; Zeref then used transformation magic to take on the man's appearance and clothes. He grabbed the notepad from the waiter before locking him in with the storage, and then he walked out into the cafe.

Zeref strolled over to Natsu and Happy - preventing skips from entering each step he took - and stopped beside their table. "Good Evening. I'm Josh, and I'll be your waiter today," Zeref said with a kind smile, using the name he got from his captive's name tag.

Natsu grinned in return. "Hey, Josh! I'll take an order of chocolate cake - I've been craving it for some reason - and Happy here will have the biggest fish you guys have, make sure it's raw!" Zeref smiled in delight, glad his plan and compulsion were working.

"Alright, I'll be back with your orders soon. Would you like a drink to go with it?"

"What do you think, buddy; should we get milk?" Natsu asked Happy.

"Aye, sir!" Happy exclaimed.

Zeref wrote down their orders. "Alright, I'll have it out shortly." He turned and walked back into the kitchen. He told the cooks what Natsu and Happy's orders were, and they got to work on defrosting the fish and slicing off a piece of chocolate cake. Zeref got two glasses of milk and placed them on the tray next to the cake and fish. He turned to see the cooks had turned their backs to him, allowing Zeref to lay a curse upon the cake. Once the curse was set, the black wizard left the kitchen and set Natsu's table with their order.

"Thanks, man!" declared Natsu.

"Aye!"

Zeref chuckled at their high energy. "You two enjoy. I'll be back in a few to give you the bill." He turned and left them alone. He had no choice but to take orders from other customers thanks to his role, but he kept Natsu in his line of sight the whole time. He smirked when he saw Natsu take his first bite of cake.

'This is going to be worth it,' thought Zeref.

Zeref finished setting another order of food down on a table and returned to Natsu and Happy.

"How are you making out?" he asked.

Natsu looked up while patting his belly. "We just finished and are ready to get going again."

"Alright then, here's the bill." Zeref handed Natsu the bill but also a note. Natsu noticed the extra slip of paper. He paid for the food first, however, and then read the letter. As soon as Natsu started reading, Zeref walked away, unlocked the storage room, and teleported out of the building, landing on a tree branch next to the cafe in his original form. He could see the shock and fury form on Natsu's face through the window, making him grin like a demon as he pulled out a video camera.

'Oh, this is going to be fun!'

Natsu wondered why the waiter handed him a note along with his bill. He paid for his cake and Happy's fish, still wondering why he craved the treat but brushed it off as nothing. Natsu lifted the note and read:

"Dear Natsu, if you're reading this, you already ate the cake. To solve all your problems, you will think of only one way. Everything can be solved with cake. - Zeref"

Natsu didn't understand how this could happen. How did Zeref get him again?! How did he even know where he was?!

"Natsu, are you okay?" Happy asked.

Natsu crushed the paper in his fist. "I'm going to throw a cake at Zeref's face!" he growled in rage. He snapped his eyes up to look at the waiter, ready to demand to know where he got the note, only to find no one standing there. "Where did he go?" he questioned, looking around the cafe. He saw everyone staring at him, but none of them was the waiter.

Happy floated next to Natsu and read the note too. "Oh, that explains why you wanted to throw cake at Zeref's face." His words caught Natsu's attention.

"Wait, what was my threat to him?" the dragon slayer asked.

Happy met his eyes. "You said you would throw a cake in Zeref's face."

Natsu's mind blanked out at this new revelation. He could feel his anger rising, but instead of wanting to kill Zeref, he desired to throw a cake the size of Igneel at his face. The dragon slayer only had two problems. One: he had no cake to throw. Two: Zeref wasn't around to throw the cake at.

Natsu paused as he realized what he thought of and sighed in dismay. He honestly couldn't think of any way around his problems without thinking about cake.

Slowly, Natsu calmed his nerves by taking deep breaths. "Let's go home, Happy. I can do nothing about this curse except go home and pray the journey is uneventful," he said as he turned and exited the cafe.

Natsu's journey home was anything but uneventful. He ran into at least five different problems. The first one was just as he left the cafe. There was a group of kids bullying two more kids who were twins. They looked exactly alike, except one was a girl and the other a boy.

Natsu hated bullies. To him, it was cowardice to pick on someone while in a large group. He wanted to teach them a lesson but beating up a child was out of the question.

Natsu walked up to the group and called out, gaining the group's attention. "Picking on a boy for looking like his twin sister is stupid. You have clearly not seen how scary girls can be. Erza is the most frightening woman I have ever met, and she likes cake. You don't mess with her cakes. She will kill you for it. Speaking of… Would any of you like some?" Natsu pulled a strawberry cheesecake out of thin air and held it out to them. He had no idea where the cake came from but dismissed it effortlessly. "You guys can eat and talk about your problems. Maybe you will see just how fun it is to spend time together than picking on another kid."

The bullies and twins stared at Natsu like he had two heads. Natsu gave them a winning smile and pushed the cake closer to them. He knew they wouldn't be able to resist the treat - they were kids.

The children caved and tried to take the cake, but Natsu pulled it back. "Hold it; I'll only give it to you if you all agree to no longer be bullies. Do we have a deal?" All but one of the kids nodded their heads without pause. The child in the middle, who didn't agree to Natsu's deal, looked at him with narrowed, angered eyes.

"Why should I?" he demanded snarkily, getting a faceful of chocolate frosting for his efforts.

Natsu looked at him with disappointment. "You should because it is cruel to pick on someone. Did you like it when I threw a cake at your face? No, you didn't. So why would you want others to feel the same way?" Natsu turned to the rest of the group and handed them the strawberry cake. "Enjoy," he said, leaving them to fix their problems.

The other four problems that Natsu ran into escalated from there. The second one was of two male adults hitting on a lone woman. He offered them a cake, but they tried to knock it out of the dragon slayer's hands. So Natsu dodged and threw the cake at their faces. He then pulled out a second one and gave it to the woman in hopes it would calm her down.

Then he ran into a small dark guild that planned to attack a village but was stopped when Natsu offered three kinds of cakes - red velvet, fruit, and vanilla.

The rest of his problems resulted in Natsu throwing cakes at everyone's faces. He pulled out a cannon, where he got it from, he doesn't know, and fired more cakes at people, causing bruises to form on their bodies. Some of the cakes he lit on fire before throwing or shooting.

The pink-haired dragon slayer sighed dejectedly. He had made it to Magnolia and could see his guild hall five buildings down. He knew he would regret going there, but his stomach growled, demanding food. Natsu tried to summon another cake, but nothing happened.

Once Natsu reached the doors of Fairy Tail, he sniffed the air, trying to figure out if someone was close to the entrance. When he smelled no one near, he opened the door slowly and peeked inside. Everyone was laughing and having a great time drinking beer and trading stories about their latest jobs. It was perfect for Natsu to come in without being noticed. He slipped in and quickly walked toward the bar, where Mira was drying a glass.

At first, Natsu thought he would make it to the bar without issue, but then he heard an annoying voice call him. "Hey, Ash Brain!" Natsu felt his eyebrow twitch at the insulting name and turned to glare at Gray. "What took you so long? Was the job too hard for you, or did you take the train twice?" Gray said with a mocking grin, which annoyed Natsu more.

Usually, Natsu would want to punch Gray, but instead, he thrust a Lava Cake at his face. Gray's words were caught in his throat as he gazed at the dessert. His eyes stayed on the cake for five seconds before he lifted them to look at Natsu with confusion.

"What are you doing, Soot Breath?" the ice mage asked.

Natsu's eyes narrowed. "Either take the cake and leave me alone, or I'll throw it at your face!" he exclaimed with gritted teeth, gaining everyone's attention.

"Okay, what is wrong with you? You would have thrown a punch by now instead of giving me a cake!"

Natsu dug in his pocket and pulled out the note Zeref gave him. Gray took it and read the words written on it with Erza, Lucy, Wendy, and Gajeel hovering behind him. The message made Gray and Gajeel laugh, Lucy and Wendy looked at Natsu with pity, and Erza had stars in her eyes.

"That sucks, Natsu," said Lucy.

"I don't see a problem with this curse at all," said Erza while fantasizing. "I would get a cake every time Natsu and Gray fought. Oh, how I wish this curse would stay."

Natsu looked at Erza in horror. "You wish it would stay?! I can't fight like this!"

"You might not be able to fight, Natsu, but you sure do know how to use cake as a weapon!" Happy yelled with a massive smile on his blue face.

"What did Natsu do, Happy?" asked Wendy.

"He fired cake out of a CANNON!" The whole guildhall broke down laughing while holding their sides in pain. Some were gasping for breath, while others were rolling on the hardwood floor like rolly pollies.

Natsu sat at the bar with tears falling down his face and eating cake while everyone laughed at his curse. 'Why can't Zeref target someone else for a change?'

It is almost tempting to target someone else for a change, but sorry, Natsu, that's not going to happen.

Zeref: Besides, it wouldn't be the same if I targeted someone else. They aren't my brother.

Natsu: So it's going to be me the whole time? D=

Enj/Dark: Yes.

Zeref: At least your friends sometimes get the side effects of my pranks.

Natsu: That's true… :(

Enj/Dark: Also, you get harmless pranks because you're Zeref's brother. I don't think it would be a good idea if he were to prank someone else. Zeref loves you but hates everyone else.

Natsu: You're right, Enjali. He might kill them.

Zeref: Please review and leave suggestions! XD
