Lucy wakes up to the sunlight going into her team's room. The light was basically in her face, giving the Eevee no choice but to open her eyes and get up. Lucy yawns and did some stretches before grooming her fur that was a mess. She was slightly impressed that Loudred still hasn't come to wake them up. Not that it was needed since She and Sparky just recently started adapting to being awake early.
Thinking about Sparky, she looks at the sleeping Pikachu who was in her nest. The Eevee would blush at the sight, He looked extremely cute when he slept, though he will never admit that. Lucy was happy to have met Sparky 4 years ago.
Thanks to him, she was a well-known explorer which was her lifelong dream. Together they went through many challenges and overpassed them. She still remembers when they saved the world from total paralysis by gathering the time gears and placing them on temporal tower spire and when they defeated Darkrai alongside Cresselia and saved the world again from being enveloped in darkness. Just thinking of what would happen if they didn't beat him in time made her shiver. Good thing they beat him.
Her eyes widen as she realized something. She nearly forgot that tomorrow was the third anniversary of the defeat of Darkrai. At first, they didn't understand why the people of Treasure Town wanted to host a party for them. But after they explained that they wanted to do it as thanks for us saving the world, they let it be.
Going towards Sparky, Lucy starts to shake him up using her paws.
"Sparky you have to wake up. It's almost time for rollcall" Lucy spoke in a sweet and gentle tone. The Pikachu would groan softly before sitting upwards and stretches as he yawns.
"You could have let me sleep a bit more Lucy" Sparky whined as he got up, making Lucy rolls her eyes but she smiled softly.
"Would you like Loudred to wake you up then?" She said.
Upon hearing that Sparky flinched and for a few seconds he didn't move until he shook his head.
"Never mind I'm fully awake now" Sparky remarked rather quickly, making her giggle.
His reaction was adorable in her eyes before she grabbed the exploration bag and their badges as they got out of their rooms. Soon they got to the rollcall area alongside their other guildmates and friends.
"AND THREE! SMILES GO FOR MILES!" They all cried their voices filled with energy.
Chatot would smile and flap his wings. He was the right-hand bird of the guildmaster and once more he was happy at the energy the guildmembers had.
"Ok Pokemon! Time to get to work!" He would say to all of them.
"HOORAY!" The guild members replied before they went their separate ways.
Sparky was smiling all the way even when he turns his head to face Lucy.
"So where are we going to go exploring this time Lucy?" He said in an excited way.
In a way Lucy admired his excitement for exploring.
"Well let's go see what the bulletin board has in store" Lucy said looking at Sparky before starting to walk to the ladder. He nods before following her. The duo went to the bulletin boards and searched for jobs. Once they did, they stepped out of the guild and walked to the crossroads.
After going to the center Lucy stopped as she started looking into the contents of the bag. "It seems like were low on apples Sparky. We're going to have to go to Kecleon's shop before going to the area" Lucy said looking at him.
The Pikachu would smile and nod as the team starts walking towards Treasure town. As soon as they enter, they could see the decorations being put by the two Beartics as well as the other Pokemon. They would wave and greet the Eevee and Pikachu with a smile and the duo would greet them in return. But it was not long until they reached Kecleon's shop.
"Ah! Sparky and Lucy! Good to see you two on this fine morning. What can I do for you?" the green Kecleon said.
"Thanks, were doing good ourselves. How many apples do you have in store?" Sparky would say with a smile.
The Kecleon turned around and looked at his stash that was behind him. After a minute of searching, he turns around to look at the duo.
"Well, I have 20 apples currently in store. How many would you like?" He said tilting his head curiously.
The Eevee looked at her bag and after a bit she looks at him. "Can we have 5 apples?" Lucy said.
The Kecleon nods and got the five on the counter. "That would be 125 poke. By the way are you guys excited for tomorrow's festival?" he said in an excited way.
"Actually yeah. We notice most of the Pokemon were helping put the decorations all over the town. Come to think of it, why isn't your shop decorated Kecleon?" Lucy said curiously as she put the poke on the table, then grabbing and placing the apples on the bag.
"Well, we were actually going to go work on it now before we saw you guys. We already have the decorations behind us" the purple Kecleon replied to them as he showed some of them to be some lights and colorful strings.
"Well, I bet that its gonna look amazing guys. Anyway, we gotta go. We wouldn't want them to keep waiting Lucy" Sparky said to her.
"Thanks for the compliment Sparky. Have a good day" the green Kecleon said before Lucy and Sparky started to move.
"What do you think they are doing right now Sparky?" The Eevee would say. Sparky shrugs.
The duo made their way to the crossroad and went to Spinda's Café. The place had a few explorers sitting on tables and enjoying their drinks or mostly chat. One of these tables had a Shinx and a Vulpix talking to each other. Those were the new teammates of team Aurora.
The Shinx is named Max and is the most excited of the team when it comes to exploring. His exicement rivals even that of Sparky's. Though his excitement gets him into trouble sometimes as he normally runs into dungeons with no strategy or plan at all in his mind. But he has a kind heart and wants to be a great teamate.
The other teammate is a vulpix named Stacy who is a bit calmer than max. Though she also get excited when exploring, she also is cautious and tries to determine the best option for going forward while on a mission.
They were accepted into the team by Sparky and Lucy and enjoyed exploring with them. They went to the table and sat down.
"Morning guys" Lucy said as she out the bag on the table.
"What took you guys so long?" Max said as he got close to them and looks at the duo.
"Sorry about that. We had to go restock on apples. Either way we have a good job for us. Lucy?" Sparky said.
Lucy got a job that was mostly surrounded by rumors of a thief who managed to evade the police for so long and has stolen a lot of items. The outlaw is considered to be 'S' rank. Apparently one of the most recent rumors is that its currently hiding in Amp Plains.
Max and Stacy were interested and excited for it. The thought of bringing a criminal to justice was a great thing to do.
After making sure everyone was ready, the team got out of Spinda's Café and started to walk to their destination. Sparky stayed beside Lucy with a smile and was ready to bring the criminal to justice.
