Whispers surrounded the Pikachu who was looking around frantically in the darkness. There was nothing in sight as he ran forward. Sparky didn't understand what they were saying as he started to feel afraid.

"Lucy?...Max?...Stacy?..."Sparky called out to the darkness as he ran.

It wasn't long before the whispers started to get louder and he stopped confused. Looking at his paws he saw that they were being enveloped by the darkness. The Pikachu tries to escape the hold as the darkness starts to cover his body.

His heart raced quickly as he starts to panic. He did not want to die.

He could feel the darkness start to envelope his body soon there was nothing left but his head as he desperately tries to get air. His eyes start to water as his vision would get burry.

"Lu…cy" He said weakly

"Sparky...Hey Sparky wake up!"

Sparky opened his eyes wide and sat up quick with a gasp as he starts panting. He could breathe again! He looks at Lucy, who was very worried and confused.

"Sparky are you ok? What's wrong?" She said worried for him as she gently rubs his cheek with her paw. She was wondering what he dreamt about to make him be like that.

The scared Pikachu would eventually calm down and gently leaned unto the touch of her paw. He sighs deeply and opened his eyes at her. He felt bad for making her be so worried about him.

"It's nothing. It was just a nightmare that's all…" He said though he didn't exactly know what it was. Was it a vision? But he hasn't had a Dimensional Scream since they prevented the paralysis of the world. It could've just been a nightmare…but why didn't it feel like it?

Shaking his head to attempt to forget the nightmare he gets up. He breathes and exhales deeply as he grabs the bag.

"Let's go do some missions Lucy" He spoke as his normal self

Lucy looked at him more curious but sighs and smiled. Nodding at the Pikachu, she gets up and they both leave their room.

After the rollcall, the duo decided to go easy on the missions and pick a rescue mission. After they did that they went outside the guild and walked to the crossroads.

As they left, Lucy noticed that Sparky seemed a bit off. His face didn't have the excitement that it usually had. It almost seemed like he was keeping something from her. She won't ask about it though. If he wants to talk about it, he will do it when he wants to.

They entered Spinda's Café and sat down at the table where Max and Stacy were enjoying some drinks.

"Morning guys! Ready to rescue some Pokemon in distress?" Sparky said in his usual excited tone.

The Vulpix and Shinx look at him and nod.

"Yeah!"

"Whats the mission?"

Lucy had a faint frown but shook her head and got the mission out.

The mission came from a Spinarak who has fainted in 10f in Treeshroud forest and needed help returning back.

"Ok we are good in supplies!" Sparky said after looking at the inside of the bag.

The team nod and they left Spinda's on the way to Treeshroud forest.

Soon they got to the entrance and after getting fully ready they went inside and started looking for the Spinarak.

They explore the dungeon and pick up the money they would find on the ground. Aside from fighting enemies too they passed through the dungeon with ease and got to the 10f floor. The Spinarak was in a corner who was very weak and look at them.

"Are you explorers here to rescue me?" The injured pokemon said.

The four would nod and go to the Spinarak and give them an oran berry, who started to devour it.

"Oh, thank you for coming to rescue me! I really didn't expect this dungeon to be so hard" Spinarak said nervously.

Stacy shook her head and gently placed her paw on its back.

"It's ok. We're getting you out of this place" Stacy said with a smile and looks at Max and Lucy.

They both nod as well and had a soft smile, however sparky was looking somewhere else with a confused face.

"Hey Sparky, what are you looking at?" Max said going to Sparky and look at what he is currently looking at.

There was nothing of importance there to Max and gently bumped the Pikachu's side

"Hey! Earth to Sparky!"

Sparky snapped back to reality and looks at Max. He then looks at the location again and he noticed a weird purple flower. Shaking his head, he walks back to the team and grabbed an Escape orb and used it to escape the dungeon.

It was dawn when they got back at the Guild the Spinarak was thanking the team for rescuing them and gave them their rewards. After the Pokemon got out of the guild, Max looked at Sparky confused.

"Hey Sparky, what happened out there? Why did you zone out?"

Sparky didn't know how to respond to that. He simply shrugged and looks at him.

"I don't know Max. But let's forget about that! We should go to Treasure Town and have fun! The festival is today after all" He said happy

Lucy was still worried. Sparky was acting strange the whole day and she didn't know why.

Still the Pikachu was correct, and they got pumped to go. The team walked out of the guild and go to the entrance of the town.

The place was fully awake as there were a lot of Pokemon having fun and eating food. The younger Pokemon would run around and play with each other.

Amazed by how lively it was, they went into the crowd and started hanging out themselves. Max and Stacy would hang out with other explorers while Lucy was playing and gossiping with the other female Pokemon. They were having a lot of fun.

Sparky was walking around when he accidentally bumped into someone and he looks at them.

The Pokemon was a cute Kirlia who had a very elegant white dress and had green hair and red eyes. She looked embarrassed

"Oh! I'm so sorry. I didn't see where I was going" She said.

Sparky chuckles softly and shook his head.

"Don't worry about it. Its my fault too since I wasn't watching where I was going. Also, I don't believe I have seen you before. Are you an explorer by any chance?" Sparky said curious

The Kirlia nods slightly.

"I guess you can say that. My name is Lily." She said as she gasps.

"And your Sparky! You're the Pokemon who alongside your partner saved the world! Twice!" She said in an excited tone.

He chuckles at that, but it was to be expected.

"Yep. That's me. Nice to meet you" He said with a soft smile

The two began to talk about normal things. It seemed like Lily was very interested on Sparky's past adventures.

After a while the Sheriff got at the center of the Town and looks at everyone.

"May I have every Pokemon's attention pls!" He called out

Everyone got quiet and look at the sheriff.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate another year of peace. And to also say our thanks once again to the team that made it all possible by saving us not once but twice. Come out here Team Aurora!" He said as the crowd started to cheer and applaud.

The team got together and got to where Magnezone was.

"Team Aurora. Once again, we wanna thank you for saving our world. We are glad to have met you all those years ago" He said.

The rest of the crowd began to say similar things.

"Thanks for saving us Team Aurora!"

"It really means a lot to us!"

"Team Aurora your awesome!"

Lucy and Sparky chuckled and smiled to them.

"Thanks for believing in us even when we ourselves had our doubts on ourselves. But once again we don't want to only be known as saviors of the world." Sparky said

"We're working hard to be a great Exploration Team too!" Stacy said

They continued cheering for their success and gratitude. Magnezone goes to them and congratulates them himself.

After the cheers, the festival continued for a few hours before it eventually got late, and the festival came to an end. Explorers started walking away and the shop owners started to take off the decorations. Of course, Team Aurora helped and after everything was over, Max and Stacy went their separate ways and Sparky and Lucy got back to the guild. They went back to their room and lay down on their nest. They said their goodnights to each other and went to sleep.

Before succumbing to sleep, Sparky hoped that the nightmare he had was just that.
