it was a sunny normal day at Sweet Delights that was just around the corner from Littlest Pet Shop where Blythe Baxter works at inside there was Christie Song Youngmee's aunt and manager of Sweet Delights and owner of Sugar Sprinkles and Buttercream Sundae she had onyx black hair in a bun with violet eyes and pink lips with red piercings wearing a sweet shop apron that was white and frilly but in the center of the torso is an image of a light pink icing oval with pink cupcake on the hip of her apron was a pink bow by her side was her niece Youngmee Song a young girl of Korean descent with pale colored skin and somewhat slanted violet eyes she had her black hair up in low buns with two pink-violet flowers wearing a green shirt with a heart design on the front and yellow sleeves grayish blue demim shorts and violet leggings and black flat shoes also wearing a sweet shop apron that was white and frilly but in the center of the torso is an image of a light pink icing oval with pink cupcake on the hip of her apron was a pink bow they had received a order of 2000 cupcakes to be made
Christie : come on Youngmee hurry ! we have to get those 2000 cupcakes finished by today
Youngmee : i know i know
among them was Buttercream Sundae a dull-yellow rabbit with brown coverings/ markings on the top of her ears, tips of feet, and a flowery circle shape around her left eye. Her nose and inner ear coloring is pink. Her eyes are a dark emerald green, she also has a white muzzle, chest / stomach and cotton tail. And Youngmee Song's pet Nutmeg Dash she had nutmeg-colored fur with lighter brown markings on her face, eyelids, and chest. She has a brown crown shaped markings on her underbelly. She also has blue eyes, wears two pink bow on both ears, and has a pink collar with a pink heart shaped tag watching their owners work extremely hard to make 2000 cupcakes
Nutmeg Dash : Youngmee and Christie are working really hard
Buttercream Sundae : yeah it has to be really stressful for them
they were running back and forth between the kitchen and main part of the shop each had a colored icing on their cheeks each had a tray filled with cupcakes that was chocolate flavored with pink icing and white icing with purple sprinkles onto a cart so in a short of amount of time 1000 cupcakes had been made
Christie : good we're almost finished with this order we don't have any much further
Youngmee : yeah
returning to their kitchen to resume baking with their cupcake batter , eggs and flour all stirred together in their cake bowls that they often had used then poured into cupcake trays putting them into the oven waited for a few minutes then took them out of the oven and placed them back into the cupcake tray decorated them and place them into a tray for their cart her aunt had placed a couple of trays filled with cupcakes already when her niece had came out with trays in her hands ready to be placed on their cart and everything was going well for them until it happened Christie looked down to see one of Nutmeg's chew toy laying on the floor that was in her path
Christie : Youngmee ! look out !
before her niece could respond she stepped on Nutmeg Dash's chew toy and was losing her balance while holding her trays while Buttercream Sundae and Nutmeg Dash watched on as Youngmee had slipped and crashed directly into her aunt thus ruining all of the cupcakes that were made and ones that were just made thus splattering them all over walls , floor , counter , windows forcing their two pets to run to avoid being struck there her aunt looked up to see everything ruined
Christie : no everything that we worked hard on ruined now i'll have to start over from scratch
Youngmee : Aunt Christie i'm sorry i didn't mean to...
now filled with anger and rage turned her head toward her niece with a angry expression on her face as her niece looked directly into her violet eyes standing their now being afraid of seeing this from her aunt for her very first time
Christie : get out !
Youngmee : huh ?
Christie : i said get out ! you ruined all of the cupcakes now i have to start over to finish that 2000 cupcake order
Youngmee : but
Christie : you clumsy niece i hope you're happy
those words alone had made her cry so she quickly took off her apron and ran upstairs to her bedroom grabbing her backpack puts it on then comes back down and ran out of Sweet Delights on her way to Downtown City High there angirly breathing heavily until she stopped to look around then realized what she had just done and held her head down with tears filled her eyes while on her knees also slams her fist as well
Christie : what have i done ?
at Downtown City High Blythe , Sue and Jasper were waiting for their friend to arrive standing in front of their lockers Blythe had her brown hair swept down and wavy wearing a purple top, white beaded necklace, purple headband, light purple belt, black skirt and flats. Sue has a slim athletic build, being the tallest of her friends, with fair skin and bright, sky blue eyes. She has peach lips and orange-brown eyebrows. Her hair is bright orange and a little messy, worn with a few yellow hair clips. Sue was wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, red trousers with a number 5 on her pants leg, and blue Traimers. Jasper a dark-skinned pre-teen boy with straight brown short hair and hazel eyes who usually sports and orange shirt, dark jeans, and red shoes.
Jasper : Youngmee should have been here by now
Blythe : you know it takes a while for her since she takes public transportation or her aunt drops her off
Sue : it's not her to be late
Jasper : i see her
Blythe and Sue turned their heads to see their friend coming down walking past everyone that attended their school she says hi to her three friends but it was more in a less cheerful tone than how she usually greets them and all three now became concerned
Sue: um...Youngmee are you ok ?
Blythe : you don't sound like your usual self
Youngmee : i don't want to talk about it
Jasper : but we're your friends so you can tell us
Youngmee : ok i was helping my Aunt Christie bake 2000 cupcakes who was having this party
Sue : whoa 2000 cupcakes that's a lot of cupcakes
Youngmee : anyway everything was going fine until i had slipped while holding a few trays causing a mess and ruined cupcakes
Sue : that's rough
Youngmee : my aunt was mad and told me to get out calling me a clumsy niece
Blythe : i'm sure she didn't mean it
Youngmee : i don't know since i was crying before i got here i had grabbed my bag and quickly ran out
Sue : that is the worst thing to go through
Youngmee : i feel less confident now with my own abilities and skills
Blythe : don't worry about it i'm sure that she'll come around and you're good at what you do
Youngmee : if you say so i'm not really sure myself
Blythe : don't lose confidence you are good at what you do you just need to believe in yourself again
Youngmee : sure Blythe
later on all three were eating breakfast with their trays and sat at their usual table with their food served by the lunch lady however Youngmee had no urge to eat and just sat there with her tray in front of her as her eyes thinking back to what her aunt had said before she ran out of Sweet Delights
Christie : you clumsy niece i hope you're happy
Youngmee : maybe Aunt Christie is right i'm just clumsy
Jasper : uh-oh
Sue : she's really taking this hard
Blythe : i was hoping that this wouldn't happen
Sue : what can we do to help her ?
Blythe : i don't know but we'll think of something
from there they attended their poetry class with Mr Banks first , their math class with Mrs. Mondt math teacher and head of the Matheletes an older Asian woman that had short faded brown hair, squinted brown eyes, and redish brown lips. She was wearing thick black rounded glasses, pearly white piercings, a lime green sweater dress with a darker shade of green on the hems of the sleeves & skirt, a black undershirt and oversized black belt with a silver buckle, light grey leggings, and gray boots, then their history class with Robinnia Amster an older fair skinned woman with short blonde curly hair, blue eyes, blue peppermint earrings, large red rounded heptanggular glasses, and pink lips. She was wearing a light blue long sleeve dress with a blue shade of basic flower patterns across the dress & purple sleeve rims/ neck collar, and faded brown boots who was teaching history but Sue & Blythe had noticed their friend being tired and feeling weak so they had placed books in front shielding her face, after that they attended Bob Barish's home economics class where Youngmee was feeling a little better and more awake but still feeling less confident about herself which only brought more concern
Blythe : things is not looking good
Sue : we have to do something
Jasper : yeah but what ?
now at gym class everyone was in the gymnasium in their gym clothes Blythe now was wearing a purple shirt with a picture of a rabbit on it and a pair of blue-purple knee length pants, along with a pair of white sneakers. Sue was wearing a bright yellow T-shirt with a rainbow on it and a pair of red and yellow shorts. She also was wearing white knee socks with two red lines around the top and blue and yellow trousers. Youngmee was wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt with a short pair of orange shorts, white socks , and blue-purple sneakers. Her hair is up in low bun sitting in a corner of of the gym with her hands folded in front of her legs still feeling less confident and their gym teacher a short haired fair skinned woman with short light brown hair, pinkish lips , and teal green eyes. She was wearing a crimson red tracksuit shirt and pants respectively with a long white stripe on the sides of the shirt sleeves and pants legs, a very light gray whistle around her neck, a black undershirt, and black sneakers with white laces, on the left side of her chest is a white wing logo for her tracksuit shirt who was watching Youngmee sit in a corner with her head buried into her knees
Gym Teacher : this is the first time i have ever seen her like this
Whittany was wearing a purple and black top with black short and a gray belt, along with gray leggings and violet tennis shoes and her twin Brittany was wearing a gray and black top with a black belt and leggings, under a violet pair of shorts. Her shorts are white and violet who were watching a less confident Youngmee Song and smirked then the civilian girl who was in her gym clothes and brown haired girl who was in her gym clothes came over to where she was
Civilian Girl : hey Youngmee !
Brown Haired Girl : do you want to play volleyball with us ?
Youngmee : no sorry i don't want to ruin your game
both of them looked at each other and shrugged then returned to join their other student companions to play volleyball for their remainder of their gym period until the bell rang and class ended with all of them leaving the Gym Teacher decided to speak to Principal Morris about Christie Song's niece it was lunch time and just like breakfast Youngmee didn't eat at all which only made her friends worry more followed by a few more classes and then 3:00 came and school was over Roger came and picked her daughter up while Sue , Jasper , Youngmee took public transportation home her aunt had cleaned up that cupcake mess while her pet watched and she sighed knowing that her niece was going to hate her now for saying what she said to her this morning just then Youngmee walked through Sweet Delight's entrance
Christie : Youngmee i want to apologize for what i said this morning i didn't mean to...
Youngmee : you don't have to apologize i ruined everything and screwed up that order so i don't feel like i belong into the kitchen with you Aunt Christie not anymore
Christie : but Youngmee
Youngmee : no it's for the best so that i don't screw up anymore
after saying that she goes upstairs to her bedroom where her pet was waiting for her while in her doggie bed there gets up and runs toward her and she picks her up to hold her as she was crying again this time short tears and continued to doubt herself and her own abilities and skills
