Chapter 05 battle against a tester pilot, no mercy in war, unknown warrior
At the Liberation Front base Eren and Armin are seen returning from another mission when they are greeted by Ziyi one of the new recruits to Liberation Front Forces.
Ziyi: hello fellow Coral Warriors.
Eren: um hello miss …
Ziyi: don't call me miss! I'm the same age as you guys!
Eren: oh.
Armin: were sorry about that.
Ziyi: it's alright but any way my name is Ziyi everyone else calls me little Ziyi.
Eren: nice to meet you Ziyi, my name is Eren this is my friend Armin.
Armin: it's nice to meet you Ziyi.
Ziyi: same here I hope we work together to push back those corporations monsters and corrupt I.S pilots including those arrogant huntsmen.
Eren: I'm sure we will beat them.
Ziyi: I hope so anyway did hear our shipment supplies for the Strider were hit by an independent mercenary.
Armin: they were hit!?
Ziyi: yeah they were uncle Flatwell is thinking about hiring some to our cause it's very risky but we are spread thin as it is and we don't know what the other factions are up to.

Ziyi: anyway it was nice meeting you guys also there's mission for you two from Flatwell after you two have rest up see you later.
Ziyi soon leaves the two by themselves Eren is still surprised they let children like her in the army then again they themselves joined at a young age when they entered the survey core back in there world but the two do understand they are low on soldiers and it's a gamble hiring a mercenary who might Stab them in the back at anytime but what choice do they have when there against powerful foes.
Eren: … I kinda wish I had my Titan powers right now…
Armin: I know what you mean … but we have to work with what we got and make sure people like Ziyi survive this.

The scene changes to 621 who has just returned from the mission and is still shaken by what he did to the child soldier, he is then received a message from Walter.
Walter: I see your back 621.
621: …
Walter: the corps sees the Liberation Front as a hindrance to expanding their Coral survey … But to the Rubiconians, your actions are only helping the corps with their invasion. It's just a job 621. All of it.

Deep down 621 knows it's a job but he can't help but feel sorrow for what he did he then looks at the next job on the list.
Walter: I've got a job for you, 621. It's an open request from the Arqubus Group.
Arqubus: to all independent mercenaries – this request comes from Schneider of the Arqubus Group.
The screen then shows an A.C which appears to be the objective.
Arqubus: Dafeng, one of our adversaries allied with Balam, has introduced a new tester A.C.
621: …
Arqubus: it's a sample model from an external architect, featuring extensive assembly optimizations. In the hands of an experienced pilot it will pose a threat far too great to ignore. This brings me to the request. Intercept delivery of the tester A.C and destroy it.
Arqubus: the Arqubus Group looks forward to news of your success. Briefing over – and happy hunting.

The message ends and 621 makes changes to his A.C this time he equips the grenade launcher called the EAR SHOOT the right shoulder and the missiles he uses to the left shoulder then he prepares to be sent to the location of where the target is.
Walter: the target may be a product simple but it's still an A.C. Stay sharp 621.
Meanwhile with Eren and Armin the two are seen on another mission to attack Arqubus Group at one of there survey bases that Flatwell say is there next target when they arrived the two soon started tearing the place apart one of Arqubus's stepped up to try and stop the two.
(ArmoredCore 6 fight or flight)
Arqubus pilot: come on Men we have to fight for the glory of Arqubus!
The moment the Eren started fighting the pilot he noticed this person is a rookie a beginner this made him uncomfortable that he has to kill a newbie.
Eren: I'm not going to like doing this to this guy…
Eren then started fighting the rookie damaging his machine the rookie was now getting scared and Eren noticed this.
Arqubus: I can't give up here I have to prove my worth to them!
Eren: … just give up …
Arqubus pilot: huh?
Eren: just give up! There's no point throwing your life away!
Arqubus: what choice do I have I don't have anywhere to go this is the only way I can earn some money and live!
Eren: … then I'm sorry… for what I have to do…
Eren runs his blade through the cockpit killing the pilot.
Arqubus pilot: I just … I just wanted a place to call home…
Eren: …
Eren looks at the destroyed A.C as he does he thinks back to the atrocities he caused with the rumbling he wonders is he going to become a monster again just like back home, then Flatwell calls.
Flatwell: mission accomplished come back home you two.
Eren: yes sir…
Flatwell: Eren … it' okay to feel sympathy for your enemies they are people just like you and me but be careful when you encounter someone who will show no mercy to anyone.
Eren: … understood sir returning to base.
Eren an Armin then leaves the area once they were done the scene changes to 621 who has spotted the tester A.C, his target.
Walter: Commence mission. We've got a read on the target. Now's the time, 621.
621: …
621 attacks the tester A.C scaring the pilot in the process the two then started fighting against each other.
Tester pilot: were under attack! Is it the locals, no it's an independent!
621: …
Walter: that pilot's just a trainee on delivery duty, but don't let your guard down.
621: … another kid …
Tester pilot: I'll deal with the merc! I've been for this!
The two exchange attacks as they fight but the tester pilot soon started getting scared for his life as his machine is now taking more damage from the assault 621 is giving him.
Walter: his ACS has reached breaking point. Go for a direct hit.
621: … sorry…
621 finishes it with his grenade launcher blasting the machine and killing the pilot.
Tester pilot: I … I just … I just wanted a call sign of my own …
Walter: enemy A.C destroyed that's it for this job 621 return to base.
621 looks at the wrecked A.C then he leaves the area meanwhile at a different location the NACHTREHER A.C is seen fighting against I.S pilots and huntsmen it completely destroyed them giving them no chance to fight but the A.C is damaged and is on its last leg.
?pilot: I have … to keep … moving towards my … freedom…
The pilot fainted and his machine power down as it is no longer able to move anymore soon Rhodes Island operators arrive to the area and they spotted the machine they saw last.
Doctor: who would've thought we see this thing again.
?: I wonder if it is luck or fate?
?: Doctor I think we should ask Kal'tsit about this.
Doctor: hmmm good point.
Doctor then called Kal'tsit and asks her what to do about the machine they saw last time now that it's not able to fight anymore and to there surprise she tells them to bring it back with them of course they were going to say how until a giant helicopter with there logo arrives and hooks the A.C then it begins leaving the area so to does doctor and the others.
Doctor: I hope you know what your doing Kal'tsit I really do.
Then everything fades to black.

Another Chapter done and the scars of war is about to get even more serious Eren is struggling with his past, 621 is show emotions and the unknown pilot is now being brought to Rhodes Island now on to the reviews.
To Kitsune of white: well my Mega Man series is about learning about the truth and fixing what went horribly wrong in the cannon I'm surprised you like it, as for my Armored Core story, Charlotte will possibly be sparred since she is the only loving parent Luke cares about.
