Chapter 9: I got you
Inuyasha's head dipped back as Sesshomaru kissed his neck passionately, he spread his legs trying to accommodate the large demon on top of him. He ran his hands along the silver demon's muscular back, dragging his claws against the pale skin, he moaned as Sesshomaru's teeth scraped against his Adam's apple; He sighed, as Sesshomaru continued his assault on the sensitive area. He cupped Sesshomaru face forcing him upwards, he looked into golden eyes before he pulled the alpha demon into a deep kiss. Sesshomaru nipped at his bottom lip, and Inuyasha lowered his jaw allowing Sesshomaru to explore the inside of his mouth, tongues carrassed each other as Sesshomaru sucked the appendage earning a moan from the beta beneath him. Sesshomaru's hands cradled his waist carefully dragging his hands upward, hesitantly dipping his fingers under Inuyasha's shirt.
Sesshomaru pulled away softly, his lips hovering over Inuyasha, he said quietly "Is this okay?"
Inuyasha bit his lip and asked "Can you uhm just keep them on my waist"
Sesshomaru nodded and bent down, capturing Inuyasha's swollen lips. He caressed Inuyasha's hips lovingly, he continued to nip and suck Inuyasha's lips; ever since their heated reunion they'd spent every night together. Every evening would start the same with wine and a movie; however it wouldn't be long before the movie was forgotten and Inuyasha was flat on his back on his soft couch with Sesshomaru atop kissing him feverishly. It had been a week since that afternoon at Koga's and they'd fallen into this routine. Sesshomaru had spent every evening with him, kissing him feverishly into the late night before he left just before the early morning. They hadn't gone past first base but each time Sesshomaru was careful not to push Inuyasha too far.
Sesshomaru enjoyed the feeling of the beta pressed against his body, and being wrapped around his scent and feeling the touch of skin, and lips drove the alpha crazy. His mind was clouded with lust from the very moment he entered the small apartment,the beta drove him crazy with his small touches and noises.
Sesshomaru kissed Inuyasha softly, and said against his lips "should we cool it babe?"
Inuyasha kissed Sesshomaru, and quietly said "No it's fine, I'm fine"
Sesshomaru pulled back, gently rubbed Inuyasha's ear earning a playful swat, Sesshomaru chuckled and slowly leaned down and captured the half demon's lips. He moaned against Inuyasha's lips as he nipped at the bottom lip, and pulled the soft plush lip earning an excited response from the demon beneath him. He felt Inuyasha hands drop to his waist, and he groaned as he grounded his pelvis into the eager beta, they were lost in blissful pleasure as their lips moved in tandem; he felt Inuyasha's claws dance against his waistband and slightly pulled back as he looked into golden eyes. He searched the beta's face for any sort of hesitation, Sesshomaru sucked in a breath as he felt soft hands begin to drift beneath his pants, he held Inuyasha gaze as the beta left teased feathered touch along his pubic bone.
He opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by a loud banging sound; their heads shot up in tandem as Sesshomaru cocked his head and looked over at the kitchen. Before they could process the strange noise, they were greeted by an even louder banging sound. Sesshomaru frowned, and pulled himself from his lover, and cautiously stood walked over to the kitchen sink as the raddleing, and clanking sound began to increase, he looked at the base of the sink and saw a small pool of water begin to creep into kitchen, he pulled the cabinet door open and watched as pipe burst allowing rushing water to pool into the apartment. He shot up, and said "Pipe burst"
Inuyasha sat up, and walked over to the kitchen, his feet greeted by cold dirty water.
"What the fuck" Inuyasha said as he watched water rush into his kitchen
They looked up at the ceiling in unison, as the thudding sound returned, they heard a creak and watched the ceiling burst open and water spilled into the kitchen. Sesshomaru grabbed Inuyasha and pulled him into the hallway as the pipe in the ceiling poked through and hung dangerously low.
Inuyasha's eyes widened, and he muttered "fuck fuck"
"Yash baby, go grab the kids and help me grab whatever it is you want to take"
Inuyasha stood frozen, as the water rushed against his feet.
Sesshomaru listened as he heard another similar clanking sound, and shook the beta roughly
"Baby, you can freak out after! Come on"
Inuyasha slowly nodded, and ran into the bedroom with Sesshomaru behind him, he opened his closet and grabbed a tattered suitcase before he quietly handed it to the alpha demon and walked over to his kids room. He walked into their room, and sighed as he quietly grabbed his daughters diaper bag, and quickly threw in a few clothes as baby things.
He reached into the crib as cool water hit his feet, he cursed as gently took her into his arms.
He held her tightly to his chest, and walked over to his son's bed and gently shook the sleeping toddler. He watched a blue eyes fluttered open, he smiled sadly and whispered "We've gottah go, come on. Grab your spiderman backpack"
He watched as the small child quietly leaped out of bed and into the water on the floor, his pj's slowly soaked as he touched the floor. Inuyasha grabbed his hand, as Tanner grabbed his backpack and led them towards the door.
Inuyasha was greeted by Sesshomaru who held two suitcases; he watched Alpha rush over to them and grab the small blonde boy into his arms. They walked towards the front door,pulled the wooden door open revealing the rush of people leaving their apartments. Small families poured out of the apartments, trying to escape the cold water spilling to the homes, he looked over to his right and watched as Kagome and Ryu darted into the hall.
He shot a soft smile, as the small human rolled her eyes, shook her head and ran off towards the staircase. He walked closely behind the couple as he struggled to hold a sleeping baby, he reached the bottom of the staircase quickly as residents of the building pulled onto the sidewalk. Bright morning sky reached his eyes as siren's rang through the air, his eyes adjusted to the brightness as he squinted and looked at the firetruck on the side of the road. He pushed through the crowd as he searched for a familiar black Mercedes, he walked barefoot towards the car parked on the side of the road.
He struggled as he tried to balance his daughter, and he huffed with a scowl marring his was used to the balancing act that had become his life, but he was growing restless with the constant fuck ups that seemed to pop into his life whenever he was becoming comfortable. It had been a little over two weeks since Sesshomaru had become a contact figure in his life, outside of friendship and inside of the frame of boyfriend; he had found a routine between work, his kids and his new found relationship. He felt himself slowly becoming happy, and obviously at the moment is when the universe decided to fuck with him again.
He had finally begun to dig himself out of the hole the Kakashi had pushed him into, finally acquiring furniture and precious things that made his shitty apartment into a home. Only for it to be swept away, or rather flooded.
"Yash!" Sesshomaru exclaimed as the alpha demon jogged over to him, he turned and looked over at the silver haired demon.
Inuyasha said "Did they say anything?"
Sesshomaru nodded, and unlocked the door allowing Inuyasha to place Tanner in the backseat.
"Apparently a series of pipes burst in the walls and the ceiling, it started on the top floor" Sesshomaru said as he watched Inuyasha buckle the toddler into the backseat.
Inuyasha frowned and said "You need a carseat",as he shut the door roughly, and held Rea against his chest and slid into the passenger seat.
Sesshomaru closed the door softly, and shook his head as the coldness of Inuyasha's voice sent a shiver down his spine. He kissed his teeth, as he opened the car door and slid into the luxury vehicle. He turned over the engine, and put on the heat as he checked his rearview mirror and began to reverse before he turned into the street. He looked over at Inuyasha briefly, and trained his eyes on the road, he sped down the empty street as they rode in silence.
"Slow down Sesshomaru, Tanner doesn't have a carseat and I have Rea in my lap" Inuyasha sneered
Sesshomaru looked over at Inuyasha, and frowned "Obviously I don't have a carseat Inuyasha, and I'm going the speed limit"
"Whatever" Inuyasha huffed, as he looked out the window
Sesshomaru sighed, and continued to drive through the rundown streets before he pulled onto the highway. He looked over at the half demon, and shook his head as the situation began to dawn on him; they had an incredible evening. Inuyasha had made dinner, and once the kids were put to bed they had gotten lost in each other's embrace and he was sure that if they hadn't been interrupted that he would've made love to Inuyasha on that couch.
He was slightly agitated at the sudden intrusion
"Where are we going?" Inuyasha's voice rang through the car
Sesshomaru said "My condo, in Midtown"
Inuyasha frowned, and continued to look out the window
Sesshomaru sighed, as he took the next exit and drove down a quiet and clean street. Large trees framed the road with street lights illuminating his path, he turned into a narrow side road and drove towards a tall glass building. He pulled into the underground garage in his condo, and followed the intricate maze of parking for he pulled up closest to the door. He turned to Inuyasha, and said "Can you grab the kids and I'll grab the bags?"
Inuyasha leaned back against the seat, and remained silent
Sesshomaru gently placed his hand atop of Inuyasha, who jerked from him and moved to open the door roughly. Sesshomaru sat stunned momentarily, and clenched his jaw before he opened his car door and slid out.
He waited for the half demon to grab the sleeping toddler, as he walked over to the silver door; he passed his fob along the sensor and pulled the heavy door open waiting for the beta to walk through. The small space was neatly kept, pristine white tiles shinned against a cool white light that illuminated the space. Two large silver elevator doors stood proud against the blemish free wall, Sesshomaru pressed the small arrow button on the elevator and waited for the doors to open. He ushered Inuyasha into the large metal container, the floors were glass, allowing them to see the mechanical functions of the elevator.
Inuyasha looked up, and was created with a mirror like ceiling.
Sesshomaru pressed the PH button, and tapped his fob onto the scanner; they were jolted as the elevator pulled them upwards. Inuyasha turned as the metal container passed each floor quickly, he watched as the glass along the back became clear allowing him to view the beautiful street view and the clear sky that appeared against the expensive building.
They reached the top, as the door opened to a beautiful and intricately decorated foyer, Inuyasha walked hesitantly as his eyes fell on to the cherry wooden floor, the burgundy coloured walls that were illuminated by some odd light that ran along the base of the wall.
Inuyasha whistled lowly as he walked into the penthouse suite
"You live here?" Inuyasha asked, as his eyes ran along the expensive space
Sesshomaru tossed his keys onto the island, and looked over at Inuyasha
"Not really, I stay here when I'm in the city or workin"
Inuyasha frowned and asked "Wait where do you live then?"
"I bought a place out in Tuxedo Park"
Inuyasha's eyes widened and said "Homes out there are hella expensive"
Sesshomaru shrugged, and led the half demon towards the back of the apartment; they passed the kitchen and the open concept living room. Sesshomaru looked over at the large windows, overviewing the city; the morning sky shined brightly inside of the space illuminating it. Sesshomaru walked straight ahead and opened the first door in front of him. Revealing a large room lightly decorated with dark accents, and a large bed in the center of the room,a gray bed frame framed the bed; the sheer gray curtains shielded the sun from the room. A tall antique wardrobe sat against the far wall, leaving the large room bare.
"Is this the master bedroom?" Inuyasha questioned
Sesshomaru leaned against the doorframe and said "No, it's one of the guestrooms;I have two bedroom is at the end of the hall, with the double doors! I'll ah leave you to get them situated"
Sesshomaru pushed himself off the frame, and walked out the room, Sesshomaru sighed as he turned down the hallway. The spacious hallway led directly to his bedroom, two wooden double doors sat proudly as he turned the golden knobs and entered his room.
Burgundy coloured walls with black trim met his view, as he walked over to the large sized bed framed high with four wooden posts. White sheets stood starkly against the richly coloured room; he pulled his wallet from the confines of his jogging pants and pulled out his phone.
Sesshomaru walked over to the bathroom adjoining his bedroom and pulled open the door, before he stepped inside of the luxurious space. He pulled the dirty tank top over his head, revealing his bare chest;he pulled down his sweats, and boxers in one motion before stepping into the shower. He turned the golden knob, and allowed hot water to cascade down. He pressed his palm onto the cold marble tile, and leaned forward, allowing the hot water to drip down his back, he closed his eyes and flexed his muscles as he let the heat work through the tired knots that were riddled through his back. His eyes slid closed as he tried to enjoy the sound of the water crashing onto the tile floor.
Inuyasha closed the guest bedroom door quietly, he had a bit of trouble getting Tanner accustomed to the new space. His heart ached as he thought of his son, who had already gone through the traumatic situation of losing his childhood home, and his father but now was being moved into a completely different space for god only knows how long.
Inuyasha sighed, as he wrapped his arms around his torso as he allowed his mind to and his kids had gone through some many changes in less than a year, and on top of everything else he was now homeless! His job at the grocery store had barely made a dent in their expenses, and his child tax benefit was a joke and to make matters worse Kakashi had gotten an injunction on his alimony payment, apparently the bull demon had found some kind of fucking legal loophole that he didn't understand. He hadn't even told Sesshomaru yet, everything was spinning out of control and he felt off balance. He had never been one without a plan, during his university days he had a ten year plan for his life and career and somewhere along the road his life had crashed and blew up.
He gazed out into the open space, as he tried to take in his surroundings, he walked into the kitchen and dragged his fingers along the mixed metal stove. He touched an open cast iron burner, and looked up at the large silver vent, he turned and leaned against the empty sink. He looked out into the living room that led into the foyer, and the elevator; and frowned when he noticed the empty walls. The entire condo looked like a staging set from Wealthy Living, he didn't see a single thing that proved the alpha demon had actually spent time here.
His ears flickered as he heard a door open, he turned his head as he heard footsteps against the wooden floor. He watched as Sesshomaru came into his view; Inuyasha leaned against the counter as he watched droplets of water slide down the alpha's bare chest.
"Are the kids asleep?" Sesshomaru asked quietly as he approached the beta
Inuyasha nodded, and said "Yeah, I uh made a barrier around them on the bed with the zillion pillows you have"
Sesshomaru chuckled dryly, and nodded before he said "You gonna tell me why you have an attitude"
Inuyasha rolled his eyes, and said "Whatever Sesshomaru, I don't have-"
Sesshomaru walked around the counter, and stood in front of Inuyasha and said "Yes you do, since we got into the car, you've had salt in ya tank"
"You try losing all your shit, and tell me how you'll react"
Sesshomaru groaned, and said "I know Yasha, but you ain't gonna do this alone! I'm here and I have ya -"
"Until when? Hmm until you're tired of playing house?" Inuyasha said, his voice slightly raised
Sesshomaru cocked his eyebrow, and said "Is that what you think? That I'll just-"
"What do I think? Fuck Sesshomaru I don't know what to think or feel. All I know is all my shit is gone, my kids are sleeping in some strange bed and they don't have clothes or shoes! I have a shit paying job and I'm fucking homeless" Inuyasha yelled his cheeks reddened, as hot tears rolled down his face. He sobbed as he frantically looked around him, and said "I barely have any money! How the fuck am I supposed to start over, AGAIN"
Sesshomaru's face softened, as he walked over to the hysterical beta and pulled Inuyasha into his chest as he cried. He held him tightly, and pressed a kiss into snow white hair, before he said quietly "You aren't alone baby"
They stood in the kitchen quietly, as Inuyasha cried; the weight of the evening bearing down on him.
"Fuck I feel like I'm either crying or yelling" Inuyasha muttered as he pressed his cheek against Sesshomaru chest.
Sesshomaru chuckled, and said "I'm about to get you a priest!"
Inuyasha laughed, and shoved Sesshomaru as he tried to wipe his face
"Oh shut up" Inuyasha said as he laughed lowly
"No joke babe, you're on some chucky shit"
Inuyasha huffed, and rolled his eyes as he wiped his tear stained face. He took in a deep breath and closed his eyes; in an attempt to soothe his shattered nerves. Sesshomaru closed the gap between them and gently reached for Inuyasha's hand, his fingers threading through the betas.
"We can talk about all this tomorrow alright, It's been a long night"
Inuyasha nodded, and said "Yeah"
Sesshomaru turned, and led Inuyasha towards his bedroom, he held the beta's hand as he guided the emotional beta. They walked into the darkroom, and Sesshomaru walked over to the right side of the bed before he sat on the soft mattress. He pulled back the comforters, and looked over at Inuyasha who stood on the other side simply watching him.
"You want a handwritten invitation?" Sesshomaru teased
Inuyasha scoffed, and said "I uh don't have clean clothes"
Sesshomaru smirked, and said "You could just sleep naked"
Inuyasha gawked as Sesshomaru stood, and walked over his dresser and pulled out a large t-shirt and tossed it at the beta.
"Bathrooms behind you"
Sesshomaru watched as Inuyasha walked towards the bathroom, he smiled softly and crawled into the bed as his head lightly hit the pillow. He sighed contently, as his eyes slid shut; fatigue slowly crept into his body as he softly and slowly began drifting into sleep.
I'm sorry it took so long, i've been swamped with work and wedding planning. I'm slowly getting back to it, bare with me folks
