Two days passed since Ash started his journey towards Santalune City. Bonnie made a friend who is a small electric type known as Dedenne.
"Finally we are at Santalune City" says Ash
"Hey Ash, why can't we use Instant transmisison " asks Kale
"There is no fun, we can use that in case of emergency. The more you walk,the more friends you make." says Ash as they nodded
"I agree" says Cabba
Having arrived in Lumiose City to begin her own journey, Serena receives a Pokédex from Professor Sycamore, as she chooses one of the three Kalos starter Pokémon. She scans each Pokémon with her new Pokédex and exclaims to Professor Sycamore that she has already decided before she left home. Her choice is revealed to be Fennekin.
"I bet you both will form a good team. Though you are above age limit but I've seen people excelling in this field at later age." says Sycamore
"Hey Serena, I need a favor from you" says Sycamore
"Yeah sure, what it is" asks Serena
"You see two days ago, a trainer from Pallet Town in Kanto came here and he saved Garchomp." says Sycamore
"Trainer from Pallet Town" asks Serena as he thought something.
"His name is Ash Ketchum, actually I wanted to give him this" says Sycamore as he gave her a case. Serena's heart beat got faster at the mention of Ash's name.
"Is it real, is he here" asks Serena
"What's this" asks Serena
"These are set of mega stones. My research is complete and I think Ash will be benefitted from this" says Sycamore
"I have added instruction in this, just give him to this. For your information, he is moving towards Sentalune City" says Sycamore
Ash and his friends are running meanwhile Clemont fell due to exhaustion.
"Big brother you should work on your stamina" says Bonnie
"I can't walk no more" says Clemont
"Clemont, from tomorrow morning you will be our guest. You will train with us, as much as training is important for pokemon , it its equally important for us as well" says Ash
"I know but I can't walk anymore" says Clemont
"But any idea where is gym" asks Clemont
"I don't know actually, but I will find it" says Ash
"You are like Goku Ash, he is like you. I wonder if you are related to him" asks Cabba
"Who is Goku" asks Bonnie
"Well he is father of my friend. He adopted me when I was there for sixteen years" says Ash
"Excuse me, I heard that you are looking for Santalune city gym" says a male. Ash turned and saw a familiar face.
"No way, " says Ash as he is surprised
"What happened " asks the male
"Long time no see Tracy." says Ash
"Do I know you" asks Tracy
"Comeon, I disappeared for five years and you forgot me. I am Ash, we travelled in Orange Islands" says Ash
"Ash, nice to see you. I didn't expected here" says Tracy
"Me too" says Ash
"Why don't we catch up" says Ash as he nodded
"Nice to meet you Clemont, Bonnie, Kale, Caulifla and Cabba. " says Tracy as they nodded
"What are you doing here" asks Ash
"Well after you disappeared, Professor and Gary asks me to pursue my dream of sketching wild pokemon. I accepted it and came here. I met Alexa and Viola, gym leader of Santalune City and they saw my work. As she is impressed by it, she offered me to teach photography.
After five years, I work with her as a professional photographer. " says Tracy
"That's quite an achievement. I am glad you are living your life." says Ash
"I will take you to the gym but how are you alive. Misty and Brock told me that you entered in some portal." says Tracy
"Not again. " says Ash
"What not again" asks Tracy in confusion
"Well in short, I was training" says Ash
"If you are planning to challenge gym leader then they are out of this region for next one month. " says Tracy

Scraggy,Pikachu,Greninja, Pangoro, Chestnaught, Talonflame,Skorupi, Eevee x3, Axew, Jangmo-o,Shinx, Magnemite,Toxel, Mimikyu,Wattrel,Rufflet, Sandile, Snover, Bergmite,Hatenna,Onix,Tinkatink,Finizen,Skiddo,Houndour,Greavard, Frillish.
Kale sends her Meditite,Pancham,Clobbopus.
Cabba sends his Pancham,Timburr,Machop,
Caulifla sends her Mienfoo,Makuhita,Mankey.
"Kale, Cabba and Caulifla don't use ki blasts as it will get more attention. Just physical combat" says Ash via telepathy
"For next one month we will do running for one hour to improve your stamina.Then we will do strength building exercise, post that we will do some combat session, attack endurance, target practice, move tutoring and mock battle. All these session will be of one hour and then we will increase our duration." says Ash as his pokemon agreed.
"We will do it pair, a team of two will be made and it will be shuffled each day so that you can learn how to work in team. Plus we will do a meditation session to improve our focus. My mentor always did the session with me and now I am more agile. " says Ash
Meanwhile Serena arrived at the Santalune city pokemon center.
"Excuse me, is there any trainer named Ash Ketchum stopped here" asks Serena
"Yes, he is staying here along with his friends. " says nurse Joy.
"You can wait here, let me call him" says Nurse Joy
Two hours later Ash arrived at the pokemon center and says "Hi Nurse Joy, you called me here. Where is that girl"
"She is in the lounge " says Joy as Ash walked towards the lounge. Ash spotted Serena who is playing with Fennekin
"Excuse me, are you Serena" asks Ash as Serena looked at him. At first sight, she is shocked.
"Is he the same Ash, he is looking so handsome" thought Serena
"Excuse me" says Ash
"Hi, I know you don't remember me but you helped me when we were kids. In Pallet Town summer camp" says Serena as she gave Ash his hankerchief.
"What you mean by Ash is back" asks Misty as she is literally yelling at Gary
"Yes, tell us what you mean by Ash is back" asks Brock
"Well, he is alive and he is stronger than before" says Gary
"That Ketchum, he have to pay for not telling us that he is alive" says Misty as she is burning in rage.
"Where is he" asks Brock
"In Kalos" says Tracy
"Wait a minute, I am taking Dawn,May and Max on call. You stay on call" says Misty as she added them.
"Hey Misty, why you called us so urgently" asks Dawn
"Guys, Gary has to say something" says Brock

"Fine, Ash is alive guys" says Gary

"Meet us at airport in the morning" says Misty as she ended up the call

"You should go, I think it will be good if you travel with Ash" says Oak
"In that case I will challenge gyms. I am taking a break from research" says Gary as Oak nodded
"Sorry for not recognizing you." says Ash
"By the way professor Sycamore asked me to give this to you" says Serena as she gave Ash a case
"I will open this later on, first of all let me introduce you to my friends. They are at training grounds" says Ash as he looked here and there. Thankfully lounge is empty and then Ash held Serena's arm before he teleport away.
In training ground everyone is training. Ash arrived with Serena as she is shocked.
"How, we were at pokemon center" says Serena
"Who is she Ash," asks Tracy
"She is Serena, we both attended Professor Oak's summer camp when we were small" says Ash
"Serena meet Kale,Cabba and Caulifla, they are my siblings" says Ash
"But you are the only child of Mrs. Ketchum " says Serena
"Well they are part of Ketchum family until they are here, so they are my siblings, not real one but adopted siblings. " says Ash

"Hey Serena, it seems you started your journey this month. If you don't mind can you join us.
" says Ash
"Me" asks Serena as she didn't expected that
"Yeah, that would be great and having another girl in the group will be good" says Kale
"I think I will join you" says Serena
"That's great" says Ash
"Serena" says Bonnie
"Yes " says Serena as Bonnie went in proposal mode and says " Will you be the keeper. "
"What you mean" askd Serena
"Bonnie, I have told you million times not to do that" says Clemont as he apologizes
"But you need a wife" says Bonnie
Two days passed Ash is still training. Meanwhile at Lumiose City airport, air plane from Hoenn, Sinnoh and Kanto landed.
Outside airport Misty, Brock and Gary are waiting for the May,Max and Dawn to arrive.
"Wow, look at all these girls" says Brock as Croagunk came out and gave him a poison jab.
"Misty, over here" says Dawn as she waved at Misty. Along with Dawn, Barry is also there. Soon May and Max arrived and united with Brock, Misty and Gary.
"Now where is Ash, I will fine him" says Barry
"His is at outskirts of Santalune City. I can see his pokedex location" says Gary
"Let's go and catch him" says Max
Two days later Gary, Misty, Brock, Dawn,Max and Barry arrived at Santalune city pokemon center and booked a room.
Ash who is at his training ground working with his pokemon saw familiar faces standing in front of him. Three out of seven face are in anger mode.
"Who are you" asks Cabba as he extends his arms and formed ki blast.
"Cabba stop, they are my friends" says Ash
"Hey guys, long time no see" says Ash
As soon as Brock saw Kale and Caulifla he says " Oh my love, I was looking for you. Just by looking at you, you gave me paralysis, my heart got burn because of your hotness, I am freezed due to your coolness. Give me chance and I will be a doctor of your status condition "
"Come here Romeo, I will give you a status condition." says Misty, May and Max as they grabbed him away. Meanwhile Bonnie switched to proposal mode and kneeled down in front of Dawn,May and Misty and says " Oh my god, you all are keeper. Would anyone of you like to become care taker of my brother," Clemont took Bonnie away in embarrassment.
"What really happened just now" asks May,Misty and Dawn
"I apologise on her behalf. She is my sister and she don't leave a chance to embarrass me in front of others. She always propose a girl for me" says Clemont
"By the way I liked your sister's cuteness. I am sure she keeps you busy all the time, " said Brock
"Yeah sometimes, " said Clemont
"My siblings are like this, your sister reminded me of my siblings," said Brock
"Hey Bonnie, you are doing good job. Can you find care taker for me," asked Brock slowly as no one can hear him but all of sudden croagunk came out and used poison jab
"Why me," asked Brock
"Brock you okay," asked Clemont
"Brock probably asking Bonnie to find girlfriend for him," said Dawn making everyone laugh
"Your friend and my sister are same" says Clemont
"Tell us Ketchum, what in this world you think that you can hide from us. You didn't bothered to tell us that you are alive. " says Misty
"I thought I will surprise you but it seems it is backfired" says Ash as Misty looked at him, her anger gone in instant and then she hugged Ash.
"You don't know how badly I missed you. " says Misty as Max,Brock, May and Dawn also hugged Ash.
"I know, I missed you all. " says Ash
"Ash was right, you all care for him" says Caulifla
"Ash, I will fine you for not telling me that you are alive. We need to settle our battle" says Barry
"Don't worry, I will battle you but not today" says Ash as he introduced his old friends to new one.
"Nice to meet you all. " says Serena and others
"What you are doing" asks Misty
"I am training my new team for Santalune City gym" says Ash
"I was wondering if we all can travel together. " asks Ash
"Why not, a big group means more fun" says Max
"And more training" says Ash
"Ash, where were you all these years" asks May and Max
"Not again" says Ash as he is fed up with explaining everything again and again
"Yeah and how you got so fit, so bulkier" asks Misty
"Ash can we trust them" asks Kale,Caulifla and Cabba
"We can, I travelled them in the past and they are worthy of learning about us" says Ash
"Listen up carefully, I was on another planet which is billions of light years away" says Ash

"No, look at this" says Ash as he showed them the photograph he took before returning to his planet.
"No way, but how" asks Dawn
"You have legendaries, not that's not one but that too eighteen " asks Misty in pure shock
"And you are an alien. I hope you won't destroy this planet" asks Max
"Not at all, " says Ash with confidence
"Nice to see you again Tracy" says Misty
"Same here" says Tracy
"Okay everyone we need to speed up the training. " says Ash
"Before that I want to battle you Ash, else I will fine you" says Barry as Ash nodded and he took his position opposite to Barry who sends his Ursaring
"Pangoro go" says Ash as he sends his Pangoro
"Ha ! I will win" says Barry as Ash
"Is he real" asks Pangoro as Ash nodded
"Should I send him to after life in one punch" asks Pangoro
"Play with him" says Ash as Pangoro smirked
"Ursaring use focus blast" says Barry whoch Pangoro took without any scratch.
"Use hyper beam" says Barry as Ursaring yelled before launching hyper beam. Pangoro swings his arm and sends hyperbeam in the air.
"He deflected hyper beam and that's too casually" asks May.
"…let's shake things up a bit." Ash whispered fiercely with a reciprocated crack of his knuckles. His ki rose in tandem with his Pokémon, figuratively appearing as if they were battling as one single being.
"Megaton Punch!" Ash shouted.
"Counter with focus punch!" Barry says.
Pangoro skyrocketed towards the Ursaring without a moment's notice. Ursaring felt a powerful thrust in its abdomen causing it to crashed into sea of trees. Sand rises in the air blocking the view. When dust settles down, Ursaring is completely knocked out.
"How is that even possible" says Barry
"My pokemon trained hard with people who can literally blow up the planet. My mentor completely destroyed the moon of the planet of another universe. The training regiment we followed is difficult and it will take five years to completely master that training regiment" says Ash
"That's the reason I am using completely new team. " says Ash
"Hey Ash, I forgot to give you this. " says Serena
"What's this" asks Ash
"Why don't you open it" asks Serena as Ash opened it and he found there are six mega stones
"Ash, these are mega stone along with a key stone" says Gary
"But why he gave this to me" asks Ash
"He told me that it is a reward for saving Garchomp " says Serena
"I will say thanks to him." says Ash with a smile
"You have amazing pokemon Ash, " says Misty as she looked at the new team Ash got.
"You traded your Tauros" asks Misty
"Yeah, It was difficult to say goodbye but I thought it is for their growth" says Ash
"Ash, I will be travelling alone." says Barry
"See you in the league" says Ash as Barry nodded and left the forest.
"What about you Gary," asks Ash
"I will travel with you, " says Gary as Ash nodded
After training for twenty five days Ash and his friends arrived at Santalune Gym.
"Hey Viola, my friends want to challenge you" says Tracy
"How many of you are" asks Viola as Ash, Kale,Cabba,Caulifla,Gary,Max raised their hand.
"Six of you, very well. Come inside " says Viola
as she took Ash and his friends inside the gym
"Now, who will go first " asks Viola as Ash steps forward.
"Very well, the gym battle will be a two on two battle. All rules are same " says Viola as
Ash nodded. Viola sends her Surskit.
"If you are thinking that my Surskit is weak, then you are wrong. " says Viola
"I am not thinking that, " says Ash as he sends his Pikachu. Pikachu landed on his four paws and then battle started.
Surskit sends multiple ice beam in the air which Pikachu deflected with counter shield.
"My my, that was unexpected " says Viola
as she snapped the fingers and Surskit skates while freezing the battlefield.
"You think, I didn't thought about that" asks Ash as Pikachu jumped in the air and landed a powerful iron tail on battlefield that sends multiple cracks on battlefield before it exploded sending it upwards. Along with that Surskit is in air and then Pikachu appeared behind and landed a powerful thunder at close range that knocked out Surskit instantly.
"That was quick, but do you think you can defeat it" asks Viola as she sends her Vivillon
"Go" says Ash as he sends his Skiddo.
"Why Ash is sending Skiddo, shouldn't he use Talonflame or Wattrel" asks Bonnie
"He must be planning something" says Max
"Skiddo use grassy terrain and then use sunny day" says Ash
"Vivillon use gust" says Viola as Vivillon sends a gust of winds.
"Skiddo use leaf tornado shield" says Ash as Skiddo nodded and he used the leaf tornado that formed like a shield, it works as aerodynamic shield that cut the wind current.
"No way" says Viola as Skiddo turned the battlefield in grassy terrain and fired sunny that increased sunlight
"Things have just started, Skiddo now use leech seed and scatter it on the ground" says As as Skiddo fired the barrage of leech seed that remain scattered on field
"What are you planning," thought Viola
"Skiddo, try the new move we worked on" asks Ash as Skiddo says something.
"You can do it, don't worry if it fails, try it " says Ash as Skiddo closed his eyes and glowed green.
"Vivillon don't five him a chance use psychic " says Viola as VivilloV's eyes glowed blue but all trees in the gym starts to wave and leafs starts to move. Then all of sudden all leafs sheds from trees and starts to accumulate around Vivillon in a form of tornado and then all leafs starts to hit Vivillon. Despite using psychic it is not worthy. All leafs enveloped Vivillon and slammed it on the battlefield.
"Vivillon get out of it" says Viola
"Now Skiddo use vine whip" says Ash as Skiddo quickly grabbed Vivillon in vines and slammed it on battlefield right where leech seeds were scattered. As soon as Leech seed touched Vivillon, it engulfed it in lots of energy draining vines that drained its energy.
Vivillon then releases sleep powder from the wings that put Skiddo to sleep.
"Skiddo use sleep talk" says Ash as Skiddo stood back and then glowed orange before multiple rocks slide from above which Vivillon dodged and then uses solar beam. The solar beam hit Skiddo sending it crashed near Ash. This brought him out of slumber.
Now Skiddo use double team and then use leaf tornado" says Ash as Skiddo made his copies.Vivillon used gust to destroy the copies leaving one original Skiddo and then fired solarbeam. Skiddo fored his own solar beam that collided in middle and caused explosion.
From within smoke came out leech seed that wrapped Vivillon and drained energy. As a final attack Skiddo uses leaf tornado and solar beam that knocked out Vivillon.
"Vivillon is unable to battle. Skiddo wins. With gym.leader is out of usable pokemon winner is challenger Ash" says referee
"You did great Skiddo " says Ash as Skiddo nuzzled Ash before recalled in pokeball.
"I have to heal my pokemon, will battle you all post my pokemon are healed" says Viola as others nodded
"Ash that was amazing, " says Viola
"Thanks," says Ash
For next three days everyone got their badge and it's time for them to move towards their destination.
Ash and his friends return to Lumiose City on their way to Cyllage City, and Serena in particular is excited to be there because she left in such a hurry the last time she visited. Ash tells her about his previous experience at the Lumiose Gym, and Serena expresses her confusion at the four-Badge minimum requirement. At this, Clemont suggests quickly that they leave Lumiose City and continue on, and he and Bonnie try to push Ash and Serena along. Before they can do so, however, a man named Meyer - Clemont and Bonnie's father - calls out to them, surprising the group.
"So you all are Clemont and Bonnie's friends. Nice to meet you all" says Meyer
"Yes, nice to meet you" says the group
Once the introductions are over Ash says " Clemont, let's take your gym back from that robot. The group heads towards the Lumiose Gym. At the Lumiose Gym, they encounter a group of Trainers talking about the Lumiose Gym very angrily, furious at Clembot's ruthless behavior (not only is it refusing to battle trainers with less than four badges, but is also throwing out trainers that it defeats) and promising in no uncertain terms that they will never return to the Gym. At this, Clemont loses his confidence in his ability to retake the Gym from Clembot with just his inexperienced Bunnelby when Clembot has all of his other Pokémon, but Ash tells him that he can at least give it his best shot. When Serena asks why Clemont became a Gym Leader in the first place, Bonnie tells her how Clemont is well-known for being a genius when it comes to Electric-type Pokémon. Clemont adds that he believed becoming an Electric-type Gym Leader would attract stiff competition from challengers and ultimately make him even stronger.
"Guys, why don't you go and have some shopping. Me and Clemont will take care of robot " says Ash
"Sure, " says Serena and other girls.
Ash and Clemont arrived in front of the gym door.
"Everyone hold me" says Ash as Clemont touched Ash and soon they are inside. They found Clembot standing in front of them.
"Welcome to Lumiose Gym, " says Clembot
Clemont remembers the password and activated Clembot's master battle program and then they did a great battle. During battle they realize Clembot taught Heliolisk new moves. After a tough battle Heliolisk is defeated and then Clemont reprogrammed Clembot.
Right now they are standing in the shop where Clemont told gis father that Clembot is now fine and he is going on a journey with Ash
"Clemont, I am happy and excited for you. I wish you luck" says Clemont's father
With that they left to meet the group members.
"So everything sorted" asks May
"Yeah, Clembot is reprogrammed " says Ash
"Why don't we move towards Cyllage City" asks Ash as everyone nodded
"Before that let's go and meet Professor Sycamore first" says Ash
Arriving at Sycamore's lab Ash greeted him. Garchomp nuzzled Ash and then Sycamore came out
"Hello Ash, what brought you here," says Sycamore
"Just came here to thank you for the mega stones" says Ash
"No issues, my research is complete. You and your friends can keep them. You have to find key stone yourself" says Sycamore
"No worries, I am not in a hurry to use mega stones for now as my onld pokemon can handle mega forms and my new one are not that strong now. " says Ash as he noticed few images on his table
"Are you doing new research " asks Ash
"Yeah, the image you are looking at is of area zero in Paldea. And other two images are of Galar and Kalos itself" says Sycamore
"You think all these three regions are connected" asks Ash
"Yes, there is a theory which states that AZ, king of Kalos who created an ultimate weapon in order to being his beloved Floette back to life. It results into millions of pokemon affected. But the thing is Kalos, Galar and Paldea have special phenomenon. Like Kalos have mega evolution, Galar have Dynamax and Gigantamax , Paldea have terrastralisation." says Sycamore
"Still this is not clear how these three phenomenon are related, do these phenomenon are correlated or this is just a coincidence. I believe it's originate from special stones, potentially mega evolution stones, that were irradiated by the power of Xerneas/Yveltal that was fired from the ultimate weapon 3,000 years ago. " says Sycamore
"Everyone, I have a task for you. I need you to search for these answers. How these three regions are connected in terms of the phenomenon they have. " says Sycamore
"I believe that we can solve this mysterious phenomenon " says Sycamore
"Sure professor, we will work on that" says Ash
"Again, thanks for the mega stone" says Ash as Sycamore nodded before they left the lab
Next day Ash is walking along with his friends towards Cyllage city.
"Ash, you are in a deep thought. What happened" asks Bonnie
"Nothing, just thinking about the three phenomenon which Professor Sycamore told us about." says Ash
"Ash if we want to know about the real history on how mega stones were formed, we need to look back in the past. " says Gary
"By the way Paldea is not far from Kalos. As both regions share the borders" says Max
"We can visit Paldea as I know a professor I worked with last year" says Gary
"We can figure this out. Let's go to Cyllage City gym" says Ash
A full week passed since they start their journey towards Cyllage city. Ash and others stopped to train their pokemon.
"Alright Meditite use dynamic puch" says Kale
"Scraggy wait and dodge and then use focus blast" says Ash
Meditite's dynamic punch connected with Scraggy who blocked the attack and sends focus blast but it missed once again.
"Scraggy needs some time. Scraggy practice focus blast" says Ash as he sends his Shinx against Max's Sceptile.
"Sceptile use leaf blade" says Max
"Shinx dodge it and then bite on the arm" says Ash as Shinx dodged and bite on the Sceptile's arm
"Sceptile use leaf storm"
"Shinx use thunder bolt"
Sceptile used force to knock the Shinx in the tree after which a loud noise echoed in the forest.
"Did you hear that" asks Misty
"Yeah, " says Ash as he closed his eyes and then formed aura shuriken and launched it at the tree that revealed a kid in ninja attire.
"Who are you" says Cabba forming a ki blast in his hands
As Ash and his friends exclaim, the ninja uses his "ninja leaf shroud" technique to suddenly vanish. Froakie notices rustling in a bush, and when it shoots its frubbles, they are shot back, the work of a Frogadier. The ninja boy introduces himself as Sanpei.
"A ninja " asks Kale
"Not much of a threat to us" says Cabba
"Your Shinx lacks power" says Sanpei
"I know but we will work on that. " says Ash
"Battle me, I want to see your strength" says Sanpei
"Alright" says Ash as he and Sanpei took their position and sends their pokemon out. Ash sends his Greninja and Sanpei sends his Frogadier
"Whoa ! You have a Greninja" says Sanpei as Frogadier looked at Greninja in excitement.
"Now let's see what you can do. " says Ash as Sanpei nodded
"Let's show them out speed Frogadier" says Sanpei as Frogadier showed his speed but Greninja just disappeared and stopped Frogadier and with a slight swift, Frogadier is sent crashed into the waterfall.
"What, but how" asks Sanpei as Frogadier arrived once again but this time Greninja landed a powerful punch that knocked out Frogadier.
"Ash is really strong " says Max
"How is that even possible" asks Sanpei
"Relax, my pokemon trained for sixteen years in martial arts. But you are stronger than other trainers" says Ash
As Ash is training Sanpei, all of sudeen a massive Meowth robot came out of the ground.
"Not again" says Ash
"What you want Team Rocket " asks Ash
