AN: I do not own Code Geass

Chapter 17: Countdown

Kallen, Shirley, and Nina followed Milly as she dragged Lelouch all over Clovis land, much to his protest, "Milly! Can you stop! You're hurting my arm!"

"No way! We only have one hour to enjoy ourselves, and I'm not letting it go to waste!" the President responded as she checked the time on her phone

Time, 4:00 PM

It was super scummy, but Clovis Land had two different types of tickets, one was the day pass, for time's from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, then they had a night pass, which was for times between 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The scummy part, if you couldn't tell, was the fact that the night and day pass were essentially the same, meaning, there were no special events. You were just essentially paying for the same ticket twice. Of course, most people don't stick around the park for that long, but that's not the point.

Suddenly, Milly sat Lelouch down in a stool, where a confused face painter stared at them with a raised eyebrow, "Paint Tiger stripes on him!"

"Wait what!?" the Prince exclaimed, trying to stand up, however, he was stopped when Milly applied pressure to his shoulder.

"Kallen! Help me out here!" the President commanded as Lelouch continued to squirm.

The red head chuckled and held Lelouch's other arm as the painter went to work. Within a few minutes, the masterpiece was complete, and the Prince's face was now covered in orange and black stripes, with six lines mimicking whiskers.

Shirley covered her mouth, containing her laughter, while Nina had an amused smile, "It looks great on you!" Milly complimented the boy as she paid the artist, "Now you can stop being such a sour-sap!"

"If this doesn't wash off in the morning, I'm not going to school."

Kallen grabbed Lelouch's arm, and pulled him to her, "No you're not! I'll drag you to class if that's the case!"

Milly laughed at the suggestion, then began pushing Lelouch toward a teacup ride, "That's enough of you two! Let's go ride some teacups!"

Luckily, not many people were left in the park, so they were allowed on the ride almost instantly. Kallen and Lelouch shared a teacup, while Shirley, Milly, and Nina were together, "Why'd I have to be teamed up with you?" he questioned

The tone he used to ask created a big red mark on Kallen's forehead, and through clenched teeth, she muttered, "You mind saying that again?" the veins on her hand swelled up as she gripped the steering wheel.

"That's not what I meant!" Lelouch frantically replied, "I meant… why're they in the same cup?" he pointed at Milly, Shirley, Nina.

"It's because you're gonna need the extra strength!" Milly taunted, "I bet you can't even turn that wheel on your own!"

The Prince gave a side-eye to Kallen, who returned the gesture with a raised eyebrow, however, she then burst out into laughter, "That paint looks so stupid on you!"

"Shut it!"

Suddenly, the attendant lazily pressed the button to begin the ride, causing the teacups to start spinning slowly. Lelouch was the first to react and tried to turn the steering wheel, but much to his chagrin, it didn't budge.

"BAHAHA!" Milly's howling laughter could be heard adjacent to them, "I knew it!"

Lelouch's face turned red from embarrassment, causing Kallen to snicker, "You look even stupider like that…"

"Would you please help me!" he shouted as Shirley, Milly, and Nina began turning their wheel.

"Only if you ask nicely." the red head teased

"Please."

"Please what?"

Lelouch sighed, before muttering, "Please help me turn this teacup wheel."

"Aw… since you asked so nicely," Kallen gripped the steering wheel, and easily spun it, taking the boy by surprise, as he wasn't expecting such an increase in speed.

"Oh god… I'm going to be sick"

"Hey! Don't go passing out yet!" the Kozuki shouted, grabbing his arm in the process.

With the strength of her grip, Lelouch let out a yelp. Instantly regaining consciousness just as the cup began to slow down. "Are we done yet?"

"Not even close!" Milly shouted as she got out of her teacup, "Let's hurry over to the X-Landing!"

Another ride that Clovis land featured. While most of the attention was put on the Clovis Launcher, the X-landing was no less intense, as the carts were designed after a Britannian landing craft that was used during the second pacific war. It was yet another reminder of Japan's failure to win the war. Of course, it was hard to think of it like that, as you were feeling 3.4G's of intensity from being dropped at the peak.

"Do we really have to do this?" Lelouch muttered as the line moved forward, positioning them as the next group in line.

"Of course we do! It's tradition to ride roller coasters when you're at an amusement park!" Milly shouted.

However, her thoughts weren't shared with one particular member of the group, "This is my chance! I have to get Lelouch to go to the love tunnel with me!" Shirley looked at the blonde as she continued to harass the poor boy, "And if things keep going like this, then he might just agree in order to get away from Milly! The only question is: When?"

"Okay! Kallen, Lelouch, you get in the front, while Shirley and I ride in the cart behind you!" the blonde commanded

"What about Nina!?" Lelouch exclaimed, "Won't she feel left out?"

While it may have sounded like the Prince cared, he really didn't. All he was doing was trying to find a way out of this situation.

"She doesn't like rollercoasters, so she'll be sitting this one out."

Unfortunately, Milly already planned for such a thing.

Once the ride came back, Kallen dragged Lelouch to the front, and forced him to sit down on the right side, while she sat on the left. "I can do it myself!" he argued as she buckled his seat belt for him.

"The chances of you running away are too high." the red head responded as she buckled up, then she pulled down the safety rail and waited for an attendant to check them.

After a few seconds of waiting, Lelouch felt something tug on his ear, causing him to turn around and see Milly wiggling her fingers mischievously, "What are you doing?" he asked.

"Annoying you. Obviously"

"Can't you read? It says keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times."

"Rules are meant to be broken, tiger~" she replied seductively

The Prince wasn't buying it, and replied blankly, "Don't ever call me that ever again. Especially in that tone."

"Why not? I think it's suits you right now."

"How can she say such things so easily!?" Shirley hid her face behind her hand, making sure no one saw her blush.

Of course, it was naive of her to think that was enough. "Ho? Why're you hiding your beautiful face, Shirley?" Milly's voice creeped into her ears, "Are you embarrassed?"

The poor girl desperately shook her head, trying to reject the blonde's questions all together.

She failed.

"Aw! Don't be shy! I'm sure Lulu would love to see your face, even if it's all red!" Kallen chucked upon hearing this, however, this only put a target on her back, "What're you laughing about~" the Blonde plastered a devious smile on her face, "Hey… why're you holding onto Lulu's arm like that?"

The red head slowly looked down, and noticed that she was, indeed, still holding onto Lelouch, "It's not like that!" she instinctively reacted pulling away from the boy.

"Oh? I just asked a simple question. Why'd you react so strongly?"

Before the conversation could escalate further, the dull voice of an attendant asked, "Can you please put on your seat belt?"

They clearly didn't want to work at this hour.

Milly quickly buckled in and after a few quick checks, the attendant returned to their booth, "What if the ride malfunctions?" the troublesome blonde whispers

"It won't." Lelouch replied

"How do you know that?"

Suddenly, the sound of air decompressing was heard, and the machine started to move forward, quickly climbing up a large slope, where they would soon be dropped, "Because, it's done this over a hundred times already. Why would it malfunction now?"

"Don't jinx us now~" Milly teased

"Milly!" Lelouch, Kallen, and Shirley shouted simultaneously as the machine came to a stop at the slope's peak.

"Uh oh, looks like we're in trouble~"

With those final words, the machine's gears released them, plummeting them toward the ground at over 50 MPH. Lelouch felt the gravity as it pulled him to the ground; it took every ounce of strength he had to resist it. Kallen, on the other hand, had her arms up, screaming at the top of her lungs as the ride took one tight turn after the next. Shirley had a similar reaction to Lelouch, however, she was still able to keep her head up, though, she wasn't screaming like Kallen was.

As this was happening, the troublemaker was constantly poking Lelouch, saying, "What's wrong Lulu? If you keep your head down like that, you won't be able to enjoy the ride!"

In the next moment, the coaster hit a loop-DE-loop, forcing the Prince's head to look up. Once it completed the movement, his head was sent back down. That's when the ride came to a screeching halt, stopping just before the waiting area for the next group, "Don't tell me…" the Prince craned his neck up

"We're stuck!" Milly shouted

Suddenly, the machine started up once again, this time, it started going backwards, sending them all the way back to the foot of the slope, before going forward once again. This time, it went straight to the waiting area instead of going backwards.

"I'm going to be sick," Lelouch lazily unbuckled himself and stumbled out of the ride, "My neck's killing me…"

Shirley quickly ran to the boy's side and held him up, "Are you okay?" she asked tenderly as Kallen was busy stretching. Of course, the girl's intentions were far beyond just asking how he was doing, "Now's my chance! Kallen's still riding off the excitement, while Milly's going to meet up with Nina! So, if I can just convince Lulu to leave with me, then…" she took a deep breath, and asked, "Hey, Lelouch, do you want to go somewhere with me right now? It'll be just us"

Unexpectedly, or rather… it was expected, since the Prince would rather be out of Milly's grasp right now, he responded eagerly, "Yes!"

This immediately produced a genuine smile on Shirley's face. Sure, Lelouch was only agreeing to it because he wanted to get away from Milly, but that doesn't change the fact that he nearly shouted yes.

Nevertheless, the orange haired quickly composed herself, before sneakily dragging the Prince away as Kallen left to find Milly.

"And you wouldn't believe how scared Lelouch was!" it seems the blonde has just finished describing the event to the poor introvert, who meekly nodded along.

"So, where are we going next?" the red head questioned with a fulfilled expression. For her, she would be happy if the day ended here.

However, Milly wasn't.

"Where's Lelouch?" she asked with narrowed eyes, "And… what about Shirley?"

Kallen's eyes widened as she frantically looked around, "What!? They were just behind me a few seconds ago!"

A teasing smile made its way onto the President's face, "Hoh~, Lelouch and Shirley together, alone~. I wonder what they're doing together?"

This made the red head's face match her hair in embarrassment from the thoughts that flooded her mind, "Wh-what are you saying!?"

"Oh… you know… it's just that a boy and a girl… alone~" Milly continued to pile on the pressure, "They could be doing anything right now!" then, she leaned into Kallen's ear, and whispered, "Anything~"

Now, the red head couldn't stand still, "We-we have to find them!" she shouted with determination.

The blonde's smile grew wider, "I'm sorry Kallen, but I have to give Shirley a chance here. Hopefully, she'll be able to go through with her plan"

Time, 4:38 PM

Lelouch and Shirley now stood in front of the Clovis love tunnel, both of them were embarrassed, though, it was for two different reasons, "Why'd I take him straight here!?" Shirley covered her red face with her hands, "What if he just leaves!? I should've just settled him into going here!"

She glanced at Lelouch through the gaps in her fingers, who was also covering his face, "I look so stupid right now!" he was referring to the tiger stripes on his face, "There's no way this stuff's gonna wash out in the morning!" his eyes then drifted toward the love tunnels entrance, "What the hell is that?"

Before the group laid a massive flat screen TV with a pre-recorded video of Clovis playing on repeat, "Good morning ladies~, I just want to congratulate you on finding my special love cave~. Unfortunately, I'm a very busy man, so I won't be joining you for a date today, so you'll just have to settle for your boyfriend." he then hit winked, "Don't worry though, I'll make sure you won't be bored one bit, as I made sure this event would be as exciting as possible! Have fun~"

"How the hell does he say those things with a straight face?" Lelouch sighed at the sight of his 'proud' half-brother as the video played once again.

Shirley desperately grabbed Lelouch's arm and pulled him inside, completely embarrassed at what they just witnessed. "Let's hurry inside! I think I saw Milly!" she shouted frantically.

Inside, it was devoid of any life, except for a few staff members who were tossing paper balls into a trash can for fun. That was until they saw the new 'couple' enter, at which they immediately focused up, "The… the entrance is on your left!" one explained while pointing at a special heart-shaped door. For some reason, Lelouch and Shirley felt like they were supposed to say something else, but they were probably too tired to follow protocol anyway.

Other than that, the entire building was pretty dim, only lit up with dark red lights that were in the shapes of hearts. On the ground, there were yellow, blue, and green arrows that guided guest down each hallway, depending on which route you wanted to take. "We should follow the blue arrows!" Shirley suggested, to which the Prince mindlessly nodded in agreement.

"Is it just me, or is it hot in here?" he wiped his brow of accumulated sweat as they turned a corner, where a cardboard cut-out of Clovis dressed in a lifeguard uniform now stood before them.

"Welcome to your first challenge!" it said, "Now, in order to get past me, you have to tell each other your biggest fear!'

Lelouch leaned to the side, seeing that there was a wide gap where they could simply walk past the 'obstacle' if they really wanted to. Of course, he didn't do that, as Shirley seemed to be really into it. "What… what's your biggest fear?" she asked timidly

Instantly, an image of Ms. Nu flashed in Lelouch eyes as she forced him to run laps around the track endlessly, speaking of which, "Where is Villetta?" No, he didn't have time to worry about that right now. In fact, Lelouch would rather not see her right now. After all, she was probably looking for him in an enraged state, and quite frankly, he'd rather not take on the wrath of an angry P.E teacher, even if she's just a poser. "I'm scared of exercise," he answered

This took Shirley aback slightly, but then she started laughing, "That's such a you answer," she said through breaths.

"What about you?"

She stopped laughing. Now, the girl was deep in thought, "Hmm… I've never really thought about it… I guess… it would be… losing someone really important to me. Like my mom or dad."

It was a predictable answer. After all, most people valued family more than anything, so to lose them is a valid thing to be afraid of.

The duo turned to the Clovis cut-out, who didn't move an inch upon hearing their answer, "Isn't something supposed to happen?" Lelouch thought aloud.

"Maybe we're just supposed to walk past?" the orange-haired girl suggested, pointing at the opening.

Of course, that was wrong. The attendants were supposed to be watching the camera's, listening to what the couple's answers were. Then, they'd press a button that would move the cut-out to the side, or collapse it. However, the employees weren't too keen on doing their job, as they returned to shooting paper balls into a trash can once the couple went through the heart-shaped door.

Reluctantly, Lelouch and Shirley slipped through the gap, and continued down the hallway, where they came across another Clovis. This one was dressed in a white suit and asked, "If you could choose one holiday to get rid of; meaning everyone would forget about it, what would you choose and why?"

The Prince was the first to answer, "Halloween, because I don't want Milly forcing me into a costume anymore."

He then turned to his friend, who had her hand on her chin, "I don't know… all of them are pretty nice, aren't they? It would be cruel to get rid of one just because I don't like it. I mean, what if that holiday means something special to someone else? And to just completely forget something like that… it's so cruel, even if it's just a holiday."

Lelouch's eyes softened upon seeing Shirley voice her thought process out loud. She truly didn't want to cause anyone harm. She cherished every passing moment with a smile, never allowing it to escape her memory. Because forgetting, was the equivalent of death in her eyes. "You're a kind person, Shirley," the Prince's expression saddened as the poor girl continued to ramble on, "I wish I could have the same outlook as you and Nunally on life." she then stopped talking, and looked at him, before giving off a bright smile, to which he returned with his own. "So, what's your answer?"

Shirley raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean? I just said it."

"You did? Sorry, I wasn't listening. Could you say it one more time?"

"I said, I wouldn't get rid of any holidays."

"You can't say that."

"Why not?"

"It's cheating."
"No, it's not." she responded with a playful shrug, "They asked which one I'd get rid of, and I chose none. That's an answer I can give."

Lelouch chuckled lightly, "Whatever you say"

After that short exchange, they moved onto the final cut-out, who was dressed in a detective uniform, "Alright! Now, you're onto the finale, after this, your fates will be intertwined forever~!" Shirley hid her face as the Prince tilted his head in confusion, "For the final question, this one is very personal, are you ready? Okay! What's one secret that you want to take to your grave? Don't worry, there won't be any judgment here, and hey, if you're feeling like a coward, you can just walk right past."

A red mark grew on Lelouch's forehead as he heard that last remark, "He says no judgment, yet calls those who choose not to participate a coward. How hypocritical."

His companion, however, didn't share the same opinion, as she shifted upon hearing such a statement, "This is it! Should I confess my love right now? Or should I tell him something else?" she looked at him out of the corner of her eye, "But if I do that… what will he say? Maybe I should just let him tell me a secret first"

While Shirley's head was getting muddled with her overthinking, the same couldn't be said for Lelouch, "What should I tell her? Definitely nothing personal. Perhaps something light-hearted?"

"So… what's your secret?" the orange-haired girl asked meekly

The Prince smiled, "Oh? That's kind of a rude question to ask, don't you think?"

Instead of backing down, Shirley firmed her resolve for once, "Well… it's the topic, so I think it's a fair question to ask!"

Even though her delivery was kind of desperate, at least she got the words out, to which the boy responded, "You remember when Kallen got me to dance at the cross-dressers ball, right?" the girl nodded, "Well, to get me to do that, we made a deal, where I'd owe her a favor in the future."

Shirley's eyes widened slightly, "That's it!?"

Her enthusiasm shocked the Prince slightly, "What? I thought it was a pretty good one!"

"No! That's not it! I just thought…" she suddenly remembered hearing Lelouch casually talk about being a terrorist, "Why would I think that? There's no way he'd tell me something like that… wait! Now that I think about it… is Kallen a terrorist too? After all, she did say she got a few guys to help Prince Clovis… but was that just coincidence? Or did she know them prior to today?" she began to feel her world grow colorless again. The joy she once felt while hanging out with her friends was gone. She suddenly felt hot, like the walls were closing in on her.

"Are you okay?" Lelouch asked, putting a hand on her back as she began breathing erratically

"I… I'm fine… the heats just getting to me, that's all. Can we just leave now?"

"Of course."

After moving past the Clovis cut-out, the duo came upon a blue-colored exit door, where one attendant was playing games on their phone, bored out of their mind, "Congratulations on completing your journey of love through Clovis' love tunnel, we hope you have a great rest of your day," they lazily told Lelouch and Shirley as they exited the building.

A cold gust of wind hit the students as they descended a few steps onto an empty street. Shirley instinctively shuddered upon the sudden blast and began rubbing her shoulders. That's when Lelouch took off his jacket and softly put it around her, "Milly will kill me if I let you get a cold."

"Stop being so nice… I shouldn't still have feelings for you… especially since…" she wanted to push him away, but for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to do it, "No… maybe I can change you… after all, it doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong yet…" her naivety knew no bounds, "Yes… that's what I'll do. But how?"

Suddenly, the boisterous voice of Milly called out to them, "Lelouch! I can't believe you'd ditch us like that!" she delivered a playful smack to the boy's arm, "And all just so you could make out with Shirley!"

Kallen and Nina soon appeared behind the blonde, though one was less talkative than the other, and surprisingly, it wasn't the latter, "I was not doing that with Shirley!" Lelouch shouted defensively

"Oh yeah? Then why does she have your jacket, huh?"

"I did it so you wouldn't say anything about me not caring!"

"Oh really? I don't believe that for a second!"

"How'd you even find us!?"

Milly smiled confidently, "That's easy. I noticed Shirley eyeing the love tunnel earlier today while we were playing bumper cars."

This made the orange-haired girl's jaw drop, "You saw that!?"

"Yep. You weren't exactly being subtle about it, either."

Kallen slowly approached Lelouch from behind, and grabbed his shoulder, "We're leaving. Now." she commanded in a firm tone. She was clearly annoyed.

"What's wrong with you?" the Prince asked as he was dragged toward the park's front entrance.

"Nothing."

There was clearly something wrong, "Can you please tell me, so I can fix whatever I did wrong?"

Milly smiled amusingly at the interaction, as the red head responded, "No. I'll get my revenge in the morning anyway."

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Lelouch exclaimed as he was brought to the parking lot, where Milly's chauffeur was patiently waiting for them.

"Oh, you'll see in the morning~" the blonde responded teasingly while picking up the boy by his legs, and with help from Kallen, tossed him into the car. Nina meekly entered the car shortly after, and shortly after, the driver took off.

Clovis wasn't someone who was usually nervous, as he always felt in control of every situation he put himself in. However, this one was something he had zero expertise in. It was currently 9:00 PM, and Clovis was pacing around his office in the viceroy palace, staring at an email where he had his mouse cursor hovering over the 'send' button. Suddenly, there was a knock at his door, "Enter." he commanded

Jeremiah entered upon hearing the order, and asked, "Is there something you need, my lord?"

"I need your opinion on this email I'm writing right now," that's right, Clovis called the Margrave to his office for an opinion on an email. But this wasn't just any old email, it was one to his mother.

"My lord?" Jeremiah was confused, and rightfully so. This has never happened before.

"Just… come over here!" the Viceroy commanded while pointing at his computer, "Do you think this is… appropriate to send?"

The Margrave walked over and quickly glanced over the message, "I see… so you want to reconcile with your sister on Thanksgiving? That's very admirable of you. Do you mind telling me what gave you this idea?"

"It was… someone I met today, that's all. Now, tell me, is it good?"

"For a professional email sent by the viceroy? Yes. But a heartfelt message to one's mother? No. It's way too serious." Jeremiah responded honestly

"What!? So what should I do differently?" Clovis asked while taking a seat in front of the computer.

"Try typing from the heart."

After about 10 minutes of writing, Clovis finally finished his message, "Is this good?"

Jeremiah, once again, looked over the email, "Yes. This is acceptable."

The Prince smiled, "Of course it is. I'm a Prince after all." he said while grabbing his mousing, and hovering over the 'send' button. However, he didn't press it.

"My lord?" the Margrave looked at the Viceroy, and saw that he was now sweating bullets.

"Are you sure it's okay?" he asked while standing up, leaving the cursor on the 'send' button. "I mean, what if my mother doesn't like it? Or if my sister simply just hates my guts?"

"You'll never know the answer without sending the mail first."

"I know that… but, it's scary…"

It seemed that even Clovis was scared of his mother's judgment. To say this was amusing would be an understatement. Of course, Jeremiah would never say such a thing out loud, "Might I suggest, a countdown?"

"What do you mean?"

"I'll start from three, then when I hit one, you'll send it."

Clovis looked at his computer, then turned to the Margrave, "Let's try it." he sat down, and awaited the Margraves count.

"3"

The Prince felt his palms begin to sweat.

"2"

"Is this really for the best? My mother will accept it, right?"

"1"

Clovis suddenly stood up, "Nope. I can't do it." he said while exhaling a few quick breaths

Jeremiah sighed at the sight of his Lord getting cold feet, so he decided to intervene slightly. He reached for the mouse, and clicked once, sending the message after a few seconds. "There. It's done."

"Why would you do that!?" Clovis exclaimed, "What if my mother-"

"If you didn't send it, then she'd have never seen the message in the first place. At least this way, you'll get a response in the morning," Jeremiah calmly responded. He was lucky, if he hadn't known the Prince for so long, he would've had the guards called on him for treason, "Now then, go to bed, and forget about this. In the morning, you'll either be disappointed, or beyond ecstatic. Have a good night."

Clovis watched as the Margrave calmly left his office, before slumping over in his chair, "What am I going to do? I can't sleep like this…" he muttered as he began tapping his foot furiously. That's when he caught the glimpse of a stack of papers in the corner of his eye. Yes, for the first, and possibly last time. Clovis was going to willingly do paperwork.

The next morning came quicker than expected. Clovis woke up to the sound of the door to his office opening, "Ah, so you chose to sleep here." Jeremiah greeted the Prince calmly while holding two cups of coffee. Last night, the Prince fell asleep while doing paperwork at around 12:00 AM, so he was still a bit drowsy.

"What time is it?"

"It is 8 in the morning, sir."

Clovis' eyes snapped open. He turned on his computer, and navigated his emails, until he came upon one message he didn't recognize. It was from his mother. After clicking on the email several times, it opened. Jeremiah could hear the Prince's foot tapping furiously under the table as he read the email, before it came to a complete stop. "What does it say?" he asked while placing a coffee on the desk.

The Viceroy slumped back in his chair with a smile, "She… she said they'd love to have me for Thanksgiving…"

"Then I take it you'll be gone for that whole week?"

"Yes… yes I will…" Clovis muttered, his smile still on display for the world to see.

Today was going to be a good day for the Prince.

Things weren't going so well for another Prince though…

"Lelouch!" Milly's voice rang out as she practically kicked down the door to his room with Kallen following shortly behind, "I know you're here!" she proclaimed while pointing at the lump in the boy's bed, "Kallen! Get him!"

Like a soldier, the red head followed the President's orders, ripping off the bedsheets, revealing a balled up Lelouch who was still in his outfit from yesterday, muttering, "It won't come off…"

He was referring to the face paint.

"Too bad!" the blonde shouted while dragging him off the bed, "Get his other arm, Kallen!"

"No wait! I'm not even dressed for school!" he replied while desperately clinging onto the mattress, but was easily pried off by the red head.

"That sounds like a you problem. If we don't hurry, you're going to be late!" Milly shouted while forcefully pulling him out of the clubhouse, despite his desperate attempts at grabbing every corner, which were easily thwarted by Kallen. "And don't think I'm not taking any pictures of you today!"

Today was going to be a bad day for the Prince.

AN: Merry Christmas. I wanted to do a holdiay special today, but the schedule just didn't line up. I really didn't anticipate Clovis land being an arc, but I really couldn't get all of my thoughts out in one chapter, so this is how it turned out. Though, for this last chapter, I would've liked the interaction between Shirley and Lelouch to be a bit better, but I really struggled putting my thoughts into words for it.
