The three followed Valerie to the lab where Jazz and his parents were waiting. Along with two other people, he was shocked to see.
"Dash?! Paulina?!" He said, surprised.
"Fenton? Well, that's an old look." Dash said, smirking.
"Dash..." Jazz said, knowing what he was thinking.
"Chill! I'm not going to do anything." Dash said.
"Who are they?" Charlie asked Danny.
"That's Dash Baxter. In our timeline, he bullies me because he thinks he's bigger and tougher. Which is he not." Danny said, making his old future bully glare at him.
"And that's Paulina Sanchez, my former crush who has a huge crush on my Ghost Form," Danny said, pointing to Paulina.
"Got to say, It's so weird seeing you looking so young," Paulina said, feeling slightly jealous.
"Danny even told me that I got you beat in looks," Valerie said, making Danny blush.
"Guys, focus! We need to go over the plans so Danny, Charlie, and Emily understand what to do." Jazz said.
"Is this everyone?" Emily asked.
"Not quite." Jazz said, seeing two more people walking downstairs.
Danny turned and was shocked to see Sam's Parents entering the lab.
"Mr. and Mrs. Mansions?!" He said, surprised.
"Hello, Daniel. It's good to see you." Pamela said, shocking him.
"What?" He asked, lost.
"Right, sorry about that. Since Sam had disappeared, we lost everything. My mother passed away and our money was running dry. We learned that we couldn't keep living as we were and started to make changes. One of them is helping take down the Three Lords." Jeremy said.
"Wait, wait, wait. I'm lost. I'm more used to Mansions from my timeline that hate my family." Danny said, confused.
"It's a long story, son," Jack said.
"Please tell me Vlad isn't involved as well," Danny asked.
"No, Danny. That man is not part of our group." Maddie said, easing his fears.
"Mads..." Jack started.
"No, Jack. You heard what that man said about our boy. And what he said about you. I will not let him on this team." Maddie told him.
"We all agreed, Dad. Stop trying to change our minds." Jazz said.
"And he's not working for the Three Lords, either," Valerie added.
"Which means, he's a third party." Danny sighed.
"Well, let's get this meeting started." Jazz said before turning to the two TVs.
"Heaven, Hell, are you there?" Jazz said, seeing them turn on.
"Loud and Clear, Earth."
"What this about?"
"Vaggie?!"
"Sera?!"
Charlie and Emily looked shocked to see them. The two also looked surprised to see them as well.
"Charlie?! How?!" Vaggie said, shocked to see her old girlfriend.
"Emily?! Why are you..." Sera said, surprised to see her.
"It's kind of a long story," Danny said, stepping up.
"The Three Lords?!" Vaggie asked, shocked.
"No, they are from the past. They aren't the Three Lords." Jazz told them before explaining.
"That never happened," Vaggie said, confused.
"Indeed. Emily was never taken." Sera said.
"Then, someone is messing with the timeline," Maddie said.
"Let's worry about it later, Heaven, Hell, are you ready?" Jazz said.
"Yes."
"Very well."
Jazz nodded as everyone surrounded the table. Danny was surprised to see a holo map of Amity Park appear, reminding him that this was the future.
"Okay, as we all know. The Three Lords are preparing for the day they become lords. It's one of the few times they let themselves be shown in person." Jazz said.
"Even so, they can't be stopped. Due to their "Champions" protecting them." Vaggie said.
"Champions?" Charlie asked.
"Three beings that serve under them. No one knows who they are, but they are dangerous in their own right." Paulina explain.
"We tried everything we could think of, but nothing works," Dash added.
The three watched as the holo map showed three armor people, each dressed in suits from each world. Charlie paled a bit from seeing the hell armor her father once used. Emily frowns at seeing the angel that looks like one of the Exterminators. Danny notices that the final person looks more like a ghost hunter.
"The only thing we know about them is that they are only second in power of the Three Lords." Jazz said.
"The Exterminators have been long disbanded since Adam's death. Our best guess is that Lute joined the Three Lords for reasons that were her own." Sera said.
"Wait, Adam is dead?" Emily asked, surprised.
"How?" Danny asked, confused.
"The First Man. He became an angel upon his death as a mortal. He was the one who formed the Exterminators who would travel to Hell to kill all demons because of how fast Hell filled up." Emily told him.
Danny looked at Charlie who was looking away. As much as he wanted to call Sera out for her actions, this was the time.
"Any clue who the other two are?" He asked instead.
"The demon or sinner is our best guess. No one at the hotel has decided to join Charlie." Vaggie said.
"And the human hunter is a mystery as well. The only we know is that it's a female." Jazz added.
Danny, Charlie, and Emily looked at the three champions, wondering who would join them in this timeline.
"Danny..."
He turns to his sister.
"With you here, things will turn in our favor. But we need time to prepare you and the others. It won't be easy, but we need to make sure that you're ready." Jazz said.
"So, what do we do?" Danny asked, making Charlie and Emily turn.
"Heaven, Hell?" Jazz asked them.
"First and foremost, we need to make sure you three would never turn into them," Vaggie said.
"Which is why we need to go after their power sources," Sera added.
"Their power sources?" Emily asked.
"Yes. We have been planning this for a long time. We haven't found any opening for it, but with you three here, there may be a chance." Jazz said.
"Easier said, than done, Jasmine," Maddie said.
"We still don't know where those power sources are," Jack added.
"We know that Lord Demon's power is in hell and Lord Angel's power is in Heaven," Vaggie said.
"But We don't know where Lord Phantom keeps his power," Dash said.
"I doubt I need one," Danny said, thinking.
"What do you mean?" Paulina asked.
"My halves can't live without each other. If Lord Phantom is anything like me, then he doesn't need a power source. I'm pretty confident in my own skills." Danny said.
"But what could I use? I mean, I'm Lucifer's Daughter." Charlie started before placing it together.
"Oh fuck..." She said, shocked.
"What?" Danny asked.
"My dad. He's the second most powerful being in all creation. What if I use my dad's power?" Charlie said.
"If that's true, then that means, I could be using our creator's power," Emily said, thinking of her source of power.
"I find that a bit unlikely, Emily," Sera said, confusing her.
"We know very little about our creator's power. But we don't know that no one can control it. I understand the possibility, but it's not the source." Sera explained.
"In the meantime, we need to train them to be prepared for the battles ahead." Jazz said, making everyone nod.
"Vaggie..." Charlie said, looking at her girlfriend.
"Please, Charlie, not now," Vaggie said as the TV turned off.
"I'll talk to her," Sera said before her TV turned off as well.
Charlie looked upset before Danny and Emily placed their hands on her shoulders. She smiles, glad they understood.
"Do you think you three could get some rest? I know Charlie and Emily don't need to sleep, but Danny..." Jazz started.
"I get it. We're going to stay training the next day, are we?" Danny asked.
"Yes." Jazz nodded.
"If you want, I can make you some nice dinner," Maddie said, making Danny smile.
"Sure, we ate at the Far Frozen, but I could use a quick bite," Danny said.
"We wouldn't mind a plate," Emily said.
"Yeah, the food we had was good. But I would like to see how human food tasted." Charlie said.
Everyone, but Danny, was surprised to hear that.
"We ran into Frostbite during our trip out of the Ghost Zone," Danny explained.
Jazz nodded, recalling a few times she ate there. In this timeline.
"Come on, kids. I'll make something for you all." Maddie said.
"Um, Mrs. Fenton? I know we don't look like it, but Emily and I are not children." Charlie spoke up.
"Angels and Demons age differently than humans," Emily added.
"Oh, sorry about that," Maddie said before the two girls waved her off.
Danny smiled, glad to see that his mom hadn't changed. Made him wonder if it was the same in his timeline. However, first, he needed to help his family from this time.
Later,
The three had entered Danny's room, after enjoying a good meal.
"I swear, I can't get over how good the food tastes," Emily said.
"I'm just glad that Mom stopped using ectoplasm to cook," Danny said, sighing.
Charlie was quiet. She enjoyed the food, but seeing how Maddie acted like a mother made her remember hers.
"Charlie? Are you okay?" Emily asked, snapping from her thoughts.
"Huh? Oh, I'm fine!" She said, smiling.
Danny and Emily looked at each other but could tell it was a touchy subject for her.
"So, what do you girls think?" Danny asked, making them turn.
"About what?" Charlie asked.
"About how we became the Three Lords? I mean, I get blamed for the ghost attacks almost all the time. I can understand this timeline version of myself actions, even after losing one of my best friends, but willing to force everyone to think I'm a hero isn't right. I'm working on that, but I would never force anyone to make that choice against their will." Danny said.
"It is odd," Emily said, thinking.
"But we only know your story. We have no idea how or why we became Lords." Charlie added.
"And yet, the way Jazz acted. I know she had just reunited with me, but she seemed dead set on taking the future us down." Danny said.
"And Vaggie...she looked hurt," Charlie said, sadly.
"Even Sera is different. What happened to them in the past 20 years?" Emily added.
Danny had no idea. This only thing felt off. But without any clue of what to do, they had to go along with it for now.
"I guess we'll find out soon enough," Danny said, grabbing some PJs.
"I'm going to hop in the shower. You girls are welcome to wait here if you want." He told them.
"We'll be fine," Charlie said, smiling.
With that, Danny went to the bathroom. Charlie and Emily decide to pass the time talking about ideas they could do to help the sinners redeem themselves. Sadly, things weren't going to be the same tomorrow.
Elsewhere,
"So, they found my family."
"Yes. And they once more plan on attacking us."
"It's sad. They have no idea what they are walking into."
The Three Lords were well aware of the attack that was being planned on them. And how their past selves were going to be trained to fight against them.
"Jazz should have told the truth."
"I strongly believe our past selves wouldn't believe her."
"Agreed. I won't believe her either."
"Even so, things are about to get more interesting."
The three looks turned to their champions, who bow to them.
"Test them."
"But do not kill them."
"Report what you learn afterward."
"Yes, our lords." The Champions said.
And stopping here. Well, more people who are helping take the fight to the Three Lords. But you were all shocked to see Dash, Paulina, and Sam's parents. And Vaggie and Sera are still around, though they are much different than the ones Charlie and Emily knew. But there is still more to do. And yes, the three heroes will travel to Hell and Heaven during the fight. But the Three Lords are already aware of what their families are planning. And they are sending their Champions to test them. So, what will happen next? We'll see in the next chapter.
