A/N I bet you all thought I stop writing. In truth I did life happened found a new career, and have been walking that path, but my joy and love for story telling has not stopped me. I have a lot of ideas and stories I want to share. If u haven't read it yet, please do check out my other story on this site Uzumaki- Namikaze I have that entire story outlined and know exactly what I want to do with it. I have not and will not return to that story unless the positive reviews come in for it. Most of the negative comments are due to the length without having introduced Naruto who is the main character of the story. But the ideas I have for it are so unique and amazing that for the past few years I have been writing without posting just because of the backlash.
Unlike this story I told myself for the past 2 years that if this story got 10 reviews, I would drop another chapter but nine is close enough right. And I hate to be that writer who begs for reviews and feedback but to be honest that is what motivates me to even post my writing so if you genuinely like the story please leave a review (it works even after 2 years I still check these stories) As for this story I will continue to post as long as I get three reviews per chapter I know what I want to do with this story as well although I'm stuck on the ending. Chapter 3
A New Path.
6 Months after orientation.
Huff. Huff... huff
"Come on Hinata keep up." Naruto states as he finishes his 15 laps around Konoha. He sits down in front of the Village gates entrance and is handed a towel by his Hyuga kaa wiping off his sweat he then grabs the water being offered to him but his Uchiha kaa. It's been 6 months since the Shinobi academy orientation 6 months of this intense training with Hinata.
Flashback
Shortly after the attempted Kidnapping by Kumogakure he Hokage had called Naruto to his tower and told him due to the knowledge of his lineage having reached the ears of enemies far and wide. He had started intensive training with Jiraiya- sensei. At first the boy was completely against it but after not being able to do anything to protect Hinata. He realized that he was too weak. Although everyone in the village considered him a hero. He had to be saved! What sort of hero needs to be saved. What sort of hero can't protect his friends. So, he committed himself to harsh training under Jiraiya- sensei tutelage.
He doesn't like when Jiraiya flirts and touches his Oka-sans, but Jiraiya continues it saying this is part of his training, but he thinks he just wants a reason to be flirtatious. Right now, his focus has been chakra control and chakra manipulation. Jiraiya had taken the time to open a few of the scrolls left behind by his natural father and mother.
His mother training regiment that was within the scroll has a big focus on physical stamina and fuinjutsu. The scroll says that he needs to physically exhaust himself before practicing his fuinjutsu so that has led him to have extreme workouts in the mornings. His fathers' scrolls require a mix of worldly accolades with basic ninjutsu training. For example the most recent scroll Jiraiya-sensei opened for him was explaining the process his father Minato went through to create the rasengan. Naruto spent hours alone studying the theory alone with Jiraiya. Now at 3 years old he had started his rasengan training under Jiraiya-sensei watchful gaze.
Naruto and Hinata since orientation day everyday religiously wake up at 2 am to work out and train before school Naruto age 6 and Hinata age 6 have been pushing their bodies toning and training to the furthest extent. Trying to hone their muscles and minds to the furthest extent possible. They follow a mix of physical mental and clan/ family specific training that has been meticulously planned out but Naurto's' Nara kaa and Jiraiya-sensei.
"I'm c-coming N-Naruto kun."
Hinata barely gets out as she struggles to catch up to Naruto at the village gates entrance.
"Just keeping looking at Naruto –kun don't give up one step at a time."
Hinata thinks as she finally manages to cross the finish line.
"Hurry time?" Naruto asked his Uchiha kaa.
"Naruto-sama you finished at precisely 1 hour 30 minutes and 45 seconds."
"Yessss!" Naruto shouted with glee he had improved drastically since last week shaving out a whole 25 minutes from his previous best record. Naruto can't help but jump and down with joy at hearing his time. With this new time, he had achieved one of his goals and can open the next scroll left by his father. Although he hasn't completely master the rasengan Jiraiya-sensei says he's close. If his father's next scroll is like the rasengan scroll, then he would need to learn the theory of the next family ninjutsu first before practicing. Which would lead to a lot more sleepless nights.
"Hinata- sama you finished in 2 hours and 30 minutes and 38 seconds" Uchiha Izumi states with a small smile.
Hearing this Hinata faces grows gloomy as she falls on her but looking at the still dark morning sky exhausted.
I still haven't improved at all in fact I've gotten slower" Hinata thought sadly.
Its true Hinata hasn't shown the same amount of growth in the same time frame as Naruto. He managed to decrease his time and her time has not improved but was slower than her best. Naruto noticing his friend's depressed mood sighs before walking towards her.
"Don't worry about it Hinata I am sure if you keep working hard you will see improvement, beside no one else at the academy will be training as hard as us, we are only in our first year and everyone knows that the first year is an introduction to the basic of being a shinobi we haven't even started physical training lessons we are still ahead of the curve!"
Naruto smiled brightly at his friend trying to encourage her. It's true they started the shinobi academy 6 months ago. The shinobi academy is broken down by years the 1-2 years are spent teaching the students all the basic of being a shinobi. Whereas the latter years are spent refining and teaching more advanced concepts within the shinobi world.
Normally such training wouldn't happen until ages 7-8, but for some reason unknown to Naruto the shinobi academy had started a new criteria where they added an additional year to the old shinobi program which allowed Naruto and Hinata as well as the rest of their class to start their shinobi training at the academy at ages 6 and not 7 or 8.
"Yes Hinata – Sama Lord Naruto is right all this effort you to put in will not be for nothing just give it more time" Nara Mona said.
With the words of encouragement Hinata smiled externally and all were fooled but Naruto upon seeing the smile. Deciding against pushing her further and putting it in his mind to bring up later he reached a hand down to Hinata offering her a helping hand back to her feet. Which she blushingly accepted.
"Alright let's go get breakfast and then get ready for school!"
Naruto exclaimed excitedly running towards the village gates entrance leaving behind the other 4 females that accompanied him this morning.
"W-wait for me N-Naruto-kun" Hinata yelped trying her best to catch up to the energetic blond bet her legs where heavy from the intense exercise.
"They get along together so well. They've become closer than they were even 6 months ago" Uchiha Izumi said to the other two women as the hastened their pace to follow behind their Lord and his friend towards the Hyuga compound.
"Yes, it's obvious to see they have developed quite the friendship. Hinata –sama has even improved her stuttering around Young Master" Hyuga Chi said with a small smile on her face at the sight of her Lord happily talking with his best friend.
"I hope that some of lady Hinata's elegance rubs off on our Lord, he still can be too rambunctious at times." Nara Mona the last of Naruto's kaa-sans present said. The lady's hummed in unison and agreement as the strolled through the dimly lit village. Every morning after Naruto and Hinata training they would go back into the village and have breakfast together either at Naruto family compound or Hinata's switching days as was requested by the young Lady which Naruto couldn't say no to.
As they walked closer to the compound Hyuga Chi felt her anxiety increase as memories from the attempted kidnapping and the punishment inflicted on her afterwards 3 years ago would race to the forefront of her mind. Seeing her uneasy both Nara Mona and Uchiha Izumi placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder giving the women some strength. The three expertly looked each other over before the group arrived to the Hyuga compound to make sure they were presentable before the Noble clan head.
As they approached the gate the Hyuga guards spotted Hinata and Naruto approaching smiling opening the gate then bowing as they greeted them.
"Good morning Hinata-dono Lord Namikaze-Uzumaki-sama, your presence is always welcome here amongst the Hyuga family."
"Good Moring Khan-san"
Naruto smiled waving at the guard as he walked in first headed straight for the Hyuga clans' main family compound "Any idea what's for breakfast" Naruto asked as he walked through the gates and past the guard into the courtyard on a path that would take him straight to his destination.
"I am sorry I do not know Lord Namikaze-Uzumaki Sama" The guard said head bowed still as the young blond-haired boy passes him followed shortly by Hinata. He only raises his head when both Naruto and Hinata have passed him and Naurto's mothers/servants pass by him offering a polite greeting.
"Excuse us and our Lord" they say in an eerie unison that can only happen after multiple occurrences.
Sheesh I guess I am going to have to be a bit stricter in my etiquette practices with Naruto- koi, walking into a clan compound ahead of the heiress as though he owns the place! Nara kaa thought.
"Hush, now ladies Namikaze-Uzumaki Naruto is like family to us. He needs but to ask and I'm sure that Lord Hiashi would move all the Hyuga clan to aid Lord Namikaze- Uzumaki."
Mona smiled bowed deeply "Thank you and your clan for your continued support and generosity on behalf of me and my Lord." She hurried her pace to catch up with Chi and Izumi who had continued ahead and already entered the Hyuga clan main family compound.
When she enters, she saw Izumi waiting patiently outside one of the guest rooms and took her place next to her both obediently and patiently waiting on their Lord.
Inside the guest room Naruto was in the guest rooms' shower cleaning himself up.
"Hey Hyuga-kaa" Naruto called out to his mother knowing that she had entered the room with him to provide any service he could request.
"Yes, my lord" Chi stated poking her head into the steamy bathroom where Naruto was taking a shower.
"I am almost done will you fetch my clothes please. And cut it with the Lord crap it's just us in here."
Chi flinched knowing that although they were alone in the room the walls were nothing but an illusion on this compound home to one of the noble clans of Konoha.
"Please my lord, do not make this hard for me. I will do as you request." Chi said bowing her head through the door before closing it again to complete her task.
Naruto sighed as he rested his forehead against the cold shower wall letting the warm water run down his back.
Is it so hard? I understand why but it doesn't change the pain in my heart when they don't call me son.
While Naruto was mulling over his thoughts in the shower. Hyuga Chi was in the room having a mini anxiety attack, she had checked the drawers twice over before they left the Hyuga compound last time they were here just two days ago to make sure her Lord had a change of clothes for next time, but the clothes are gone.
She started taking deep breaths as she paced the room and checked the empty drawers for the fourth time.
I am sure I had 2 extra sets of clothes for my Lord where have they gone? What am I to do, I can't allow my Naruto to wear stinky workout clothes in front of Hinata- Sama and Lord Hiashi
As if reading her mind Uchiha Izumi walked In the guest room after knocking to check on the two, she was surprised to see Chi sitting on the bed face in hands crying softly to herself. Hurriedly she sat beside Chi who didn't notice her until she sat down next to her. Chi straightened her back and tried to look presentable before she realized it was Izumi next to her and dropped her act to continue weeping softly.
"What is wrong Chi? Is our Lord, okay?"
Izumi asked worriedly looking towards the bathroom where she could hear the water falling form the shower. When she looked back at Chi, she saw her shaking her head which worried and confused the maid.
"it's not Lord Naruto it's his clothes they are missing we do not have time to retrieve another set since he asked for them a few minutes ago I am sure he is waiting impatiently for them, but I have failed in a duty this simply sure Lord Hiashi will have me service all the Hyuga men before executing me for my incompetence." Chi let out with a wept the feeling of hopelessness surrounding her. Little did she know Naruto was deep in his own thought, so clothes were not of importance to him at the moment.
Izumi shot up and checked the already opened dresser and sure enough no clothes cold be found.
Shit how is this possible I'm sure I saw Chi bring an extra set two days ago for this very occasion. How do we explain Naruto-koi clothes missing to Hiashi? We don't have time to retrieve another set and we can't just leave the compound with Master surely the Hyuga guards have reported to Lord Hiashi of our arrival.
Just as she was deep in thought Izumi and Chi heard the water stop followed by the bathroom door opening letting all the steamy that was once trapped in the room out followed by the light footsteps of their master who had a smile on his face that quickly turned to a worried from upon seeing the distressed looks on both his mother figures faces.
"What is wrong?" Naruto demand to know.
"I-uh we" Both Chi and Izumi stuttered standing up from the bed and bowing their heads in respect to their Master. Both stammering to tell him what has them so concerned.
"Come on guys stop messing with me, where is my clothes by the way Hyuga kaa." Naruto said chuckling before grabbing another towel to dry his wet hair.
"I-I cannot find them my lord." Chi sated before bowing deeply in regret light tears rolling down her face.
"I will take full responsibility my lord as your dedicated seamstress your clothing falls under my responsibility." Izumi spoke in a loud tone which made Naruto question why she was being so vocal about this and made Chi flinch squeezing her hands in a tight fist her head still bowed she looked sideways to glance with a look of gratitude mixed with mortification.
Naruto looked at both of them curiously pondering their reactions, he couldn't understand why the two were so bent out of shape about his clothes until a flash back of 3 years ago passed through his mind. Another flash back came to his mind as well it was something that his Nara kaa always mentioned during his etiquette and politics training session.
Clan heads are the most important people outside the hokage in any village. His Nara kaa said "They are vital members of the village who are to be held with respect admiration and any form of shame brought onto its clan head from a member or person in servitude to that clan must be met with swift action as to save face. This is one of the many reasons you are special to us Naruto-koi for you are not just a clan head but in fact you are those times two. Along with a hero to the village you are my personal hero. I live for you."
That's when it hit him.
They are not scared because of me; they are scared of their clans and the fact that they "serve" me and have essentially left me naked in another clan's abode.
The moment was interrupted by a Knock on the door.
"Naruto- Sama it is Hiashi I am here with Neij and Hinata so we can attend breakfast together."
All three individual froze in fear. At this point Chi was visibly trembling and Izumi was as well although not to the same extent. Silence filled the area as the two looked at Naruto almost pleadingly although they knew that this was not his fault. Naruto was racking his brain to come up with a solution to this predicament.
"Naruto-sama are you alright?" Hiashi asked the concern evident in his tone.
"Ah- yes yes, sorry Excuse me Lord Hiashi may I ask a favor of you."
Chi felt like the world was spinning this was the end for her she could feel it.
"Yes Naruto- sama of course" Naruto heard Hiashi reply through the door.
"Would you mind sending Hinata in to accompany me for a moment. I will meet you and Neij-san back at the banquet hall."
Naruto had an idea but for it he needed Hinata. Said girl was in the hallway with her father Neij and Mona upon hearing Naruto's request her entire face blushed a color red that is usually only seen on tomatoes. She was so flustered that her ears ran and she didn't see or hear Mona immediate deep bow and humble request for her Lords words to be forgiven, nor did she see Neij's fist squeeze in anger and the seething murderous gaze he held towards the door and the person on the other side who dared ask for a lady who is not his betrothed, or his wife, or mistress or even a servant to enter a bedroom with him.
Neij and Hinata were thinking out of their individual thoughts at Hiashi deep chuckle filled the air. Hinata looked at her father who genuinely had a smile with an amused expression on his face.
"Naruto-sama although you are the son I never had, and truthfully, I am glad to hear such vigor from you. I cannot simply allow you to elope with my daughter at this time for you are bout only children, once you two have graduated from the academy then we can talk about having an official marriage proposal written. Excuse me for not allowing you two to enjoy youthful passions currently."
Aha I guess all those years spent together has finally born some fruit, although I don't remember having such passion at his age, I assume it must be part of his Uzumaki heritage, they were always feisty and full of youthful energy I suppose. Hiashi thought.
Hiashi stated lightly waving a hand towards Mona dismissing her apology. Hinata's face was purple after her father's words, and she struggled to maintain her upright posture due to the embarrassment of the situation.
Naruto was in the room wondering just what Hiashi was getting at he just asked Hinata to come in not for her hand in marriage, Chi spoke lightly towards Naruto.
"Master it is unsightly and usually for an unmarried man and women in this instance to be in the same bedroom usually the meaning behind such request have some sort of sexual undertone."
Naruto blushed mad red at the realization that he just asked Hinata's father to allow his daughter to partake in such activates. Even though that is far from what he meant. Recovering he had pulled himself together. Now was not the time to be a child now was the time to be a Clan head.
"I apologize for my part in this confusion Lord Hiashi, I merely wish to discuss a private matter with Hinata we will not be alone as for I have Chi- kaa and Izumi Kaa in here with me. I swear on my mother and fathers honor that Hinata-chan with be the same maiden she steps in this room as. "
"Aha I see if you we're requesting such an act, I think I'd be able to arrange such a transgression at a time with fewer... witnesses." Hiashi stated inquisitively.
Looking at both the Nara servant and Neji who lowered their gaze as to not meet his. Hinata was struggling to maintain consciousness at the embarrassment she was feeling. Neji was seething with rage at the thought of what his clan head was insinuating.
Is Lady Hinata no different than a whore to him truly Naruto is not that great as for my Lord to offer him Lady Hinata's chastity in such a manner.
Naruto was in the room also blushing at the Hyuga Clan head insinuation, but he wasn't interested in doing the nasty with Hinata they're just friends!
How do I even respond to that. Maybe it is best if I don't.
"So will you allow this selfish request of mine Lord Hiashi."
"I will allow it, but I am afraid Hinata is not dressed for such occasions. Allow her a moment reprieve to get better dressed. I will send her to you immediately also if you can send out your servants for such occasion, I am afraid that Hinata is not well versed in the manner of tending to male needs. Your servants may cause an unnecessary distraction for her."
Naruto huffed internally IM NOT DOING THE NSATY WITH HINATA! EWWW
"Thank you, Lord Hiashi," Naruto said before turning his head to his mothers who looked at him with a questioning gaze. Both thinking that maybe it was time for Naruto to show interest in such things.
"Please exit before Hinata-chan arrives don't worry Chi- kaa and Izumi- kaa me and Hinata will handle this. Naruto said t them giving them a confident smile. The women nodded and bowed at their Lord before exiting when they did all they saw outside of the guest room was Mona who eyed them both questionably. The servants began to fill each other in on the missing details from the previous encounter as they waited for Lady Hinata to return.
Further in the compound Hiashi and Neji were walking to the main hall. Neji was so tied up with his thoughts about the disrespectful Namikaze-Uzumaki and his obvious lustful request towards the heiress of the Hyuga clan. He could no longer hold in his discontent.
"Lord Hiashi do you really not question Namikaze-Uzumaki's intention with Lady Hinata."
Before Neji barely finished uttering his sentence, he felt a hard slap across his face followed by the sound of said slap ringing in his ears. Hiashi had swiftly moved from walking directly in front of him, 180 turned and backhanded the boy before he could even react.
Neji instinctively prostrated himself in a deep respectful bow "Forgive me My-"
"I will not forgive your arrogance do not forget of whom you speak and who you are speaking to boy. You son of my only brother the only reason I shall pardon your life. You the true born son of a whore think himself equal to a Clan head." Hiashi said spitting on Neji's head in disgust at the thought.
"His mere presence in this compound, is the only reason I will not allow your blood to stain these very halls. Listen to me close boy as I will only say this once. Lord Naruto is greater than you and anyone else who has been born of this village within the last decade. Both his parents were renowned for their abilities, but also their heritage. You ignorant fool full of the branch family's deceit and malicious believe you even have the right to question him is deplorable. His lineage compared to yours alone should humble your very tongue. Just as your father was no more than a pawn; a second born you are no greater than such. Lord Naruto is LIVING royalty. The Namikaze of this village is the last recognized noble clan of Konoha. The Uzumaki's ARE a founding clan on equal regards to the Senju's and even the Uchiha's and their descendants. I should have your tongue for your insolence. If Naruto- sama wanted I'd offer him Hinata, Hanabi and even your own mother to fuck. For that is just a small price to the massive debut that this village and the shinobi world owes his linage. Get out of my sight."
Lord Hiashi was trembling with anger. Prostrated on the ground Neji was shaking in anger as well and couldn't control the tears falling from his eyes.
My own… mother…. I hate him... I hate him… I HATE HIM.
"As you wish My lord." Neji stated his face not showing the anger he felt on the inside. Standing before bowing again to his Clan head before running off to the Branch Family compound to find a way to vent his frustrations.
Meanwhile Hinata had finished getting dressed previously she was wearing her usual attire she'd wear every day to the academy as that's where her and Naruto were going after breakfast but, with the events that just unfolded her father had her escorted by a branch family member to her room to dress more appropriately for the occasion. The servant who helped her get ready was well known to Hinata she had seen the young women many of times in the hallways of the main family compound the women was a sex servant for the main family a gift offered by the branch family after Neji's failure to protect her and Naruto the women was in fact Neji's mother and her aunt. She was wearing a kimono that showed off her bosom and left little for a man's imagination. Which was common amongst those of her profession.
They had settled on a plain white kimono that was slightly different than your average kimono. This one was designed in the same way as Neji's Mothers with the exception that the material was pure silk, so it was softer and far more expensive than what her Aunt was wearing... Although Hinata was a child yet to grow into her woman hood so as she moved, she struggled to keep the kimono rested on her shoulders. It would constantly slip down one arm or another and in turn exposing either her left or right breast fully. Simply put her body was not at the point to wear such provocative clothing. And the undergarment she was wearing was worse. Bra and panties yes but completely transparent so nothing was hidden form the naked eye.
Hinata was still beat red upon seeing herself in the mirror she struggled to recognize the difference between her appearance and that of her aunt's dress. Sensing her niece's hesitation her aunt spoke.
"You look alluring Lady Hinata. No man will be able to resist such charms. Let us make haste and not further delay Lord Namikaze-Uzumaki."
Hinata just silently nodded not paying attention to her surroundings as she followed her aunt down the hallways and corridors towards where Naruto was waiting. She was so consumed with her thoughts that the journey seemed to end after only a few steps. She was awoken out of her thoughts when she heard Mona-chan speak to Naruto through the door.
"My lord, Lady Hinata has arrived."
She could feel Naruto's Mothers gazes upon her obviously she was dressed for a particular encounter. The realization that they knew made her more unnerved and uneasy. She shifted her weight between her feet uneasily. The mere seconds felt like hours before Naruto respond.
"Send her in please."
With that Mona opened the door every servant even her aunt looked anywhere but at the open door and the room inside. Hinata who was standing at the door her gaze never looking up as she twiddled with her fingers stepping into the room feeling the cool air of the door immediately closing behind her.
She felt like the silence in the room was hammering her like a nail, and with each quiet second her already small pool of confidence was getting smaller. Remembering the quick lessons her aunt gave her as they got her dressed.
Flashback
"When you greet your Lord, master, husband for occasion such as this. You are to courtesy like this" Her Aunt said showing an example to Hinata. Hinata watched and then quickly covered her eyes and blushed. When her aunt did curtesy as would any proper lady when introducing herself to a noble like Naruto. The problem wasn't how her Aunt Curtsy but how her kimono was designed to react to such movement. With its deep slits at the cleavage and leg areas. When her aunt just did the proper curtsy not only did Hinata get an eye full of the ladies' breast, but she also saw her panties!
She grabbed the edges of her kimono at the base her blush deepening as she thought about what she was about to do. She did her curtsy even though she knew from practicing earlier what would happen.
"Please let me be of service to you, My Lord." Hinata said as she executed her curtsy. Hinata felt her left side of the kimono had slipped down her shoulder exposing her left breast and nipple wholly. She could feel the air run between her exposed thighs as she knew this position also gave a clear view of her see through panties. She finished her curtsy and stood back up straight blushing deep purple at what she just did. Quickly adjusting her Kimono to hide her previously exposed nipple. Again, the silence was deafening to her ears. Two painful minutes had passed and Hinata continued to shift her weight nervously back and forth between her legs. Waiting for a response from Naruto. Finally, he broke the silence.
"W-what are you wearing Hinata!" Naruto asked in a hushed whisper "I saw your underwear!" Naruto asked desperately.
"T-t-this is the o-o-o-outfit chosen for me to wear for this o-o-o-occasion." Hinata replied nervously.
"Here cover yourself with this."
Hinata looked up in time to see a Naruto approaching her with the comforter from the guest bed. Outstretched as to cover her form from his view. Hinata gave him a grateful smile before taking it. Only after she covered herself with the Kimono did she feel comfortable enough to look Naruto in the eye.
When she did, she immediately regret it a flushed in embarrassment Naruto was sitting next to her on the guest bed with nothing but a towel on. Even at the age of 6 he had a muscular toned body that was unusual for your average 6-year-old. That along with his cute bright red face made her blush so hard she could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks.
They sat in silence for a few minutes before again Naruto broke it still blushing and not looking into her eyes.
"This has been a weird morning for sure." He said with a light laugh. Hinata nodded in agreement trying to look any where but at Naruto's half naked frame. But her mind kept returning to how he was basically naked right next to her.
Does he really intend on making me a woman today?
Hinata felt both fear and honor to be considered by him.
"Hinata, I need a favor and you can't be seen doing it okay!" The seriousness of his voice is what led Hinata's eyes to once again find Naruto's face. When her eyes did meet his she was surprised to see the seriousness of them. The only time she'd see him this serious was when they trained together. His eyes had that seriousness to them, but his cheeks still maintained the slight hint of a blush.
Hinata found herself falling deeper for Naruto in that moment just from his handsomeness in that very second.
So handsome.
"What is it you request of me Naruto-dono." Hinata said instinctively being enamored by the boy's charm. Although she was expecting something lewd, she mentally was preparing herself to fully commit herself from this day forward to him. She would have to train harder to be worthy of such consideration both in her shinobi practices and her duties as a clan's heiress.
Hinata wasn't ignorant to the fact that Naruto at the age of 6 already had a seat at the shinobi council. He was involved with political meetings that were ahead of any 6-year-old. Sometimes Hinata forgets that Naruto is her age. Although they are both now in the Shinobi academy most of their classmates are pretending to be older than they are to have a wisdom they don't truly possess. Naruto is different. Her father had said Naruto council seat was more symbolic but if that was the case why would he attend the meetings. Sometimes Naruto would share with her what went on in the meetings. And every time he would explain why the council had decided on certain things. She was sometimes left confused but Naruto always broke things down simply and plainly to her. This went to show her that Naruto has been given a responsibility that she has never even heard of being giving to a clan head who hasn't even graduated the academy yet. It just proves that Naruto is leaps and bounds ahead of everyone in their generation.
Giving away her chastity like this without a marriage proposal written beforehand meant her father was offering her to a life of forever servitude to Lord Naruto. If he were to take her chastity, then later find himself another woman who he then made his wife she would be no more than a mere concubine and servant. She'd be deemed a whore amongst her fellow clans' men. Gone would be the hope of marrying another and her title as the clan's heiress because her purity was tainted. She continued to harden her resolve to the best of her ability the best thing about this was her father at least gave her a fighting chance. To her knowledge Naruto himself was a virgin. So, this experience and the outcome of such completely relied on her efforts. Finding her resolve she stated for the first time although just within her head her life goal.

My life will be spent for you. For you have always protected me and have already saved my life. You see me not as a Hyuga princess but as Hinata. I was already in your debt. "Hey what are you all doing?"
Hinata heard the voice of a child. She was a two-year-old surrounded by freshly made Genin. Being bullied for whatever reasons the young ninja could come up with.
Her clothes were dirty from being thrown down in the mud. Her tear-filled eyes barely could make out the figure of her savior. Who was a blond, blue eyed boy with whisker marks on his cheeks barely taller than her. His fists were held high in a defensive fighting position as he stared daggers into the three bullies before him.
"And just who do you think you are punk. Some snotty noise brat thinks he can stand against us freshly made Genin of the Leaf. "One of the bullies shouted as they were all turned to face their new victim.
"Ha we will wipe that proud look off your raggedy face boy." One of the bullies said approaching the blond kid grabbing a handful of the smaller boy's shirt. As Hinata watched helplessly as the bigger kid reached back to punch her hero in the fact. She saw that the blond kids' eyes had no fear in them. Which she thought was strange at the time. She learned that was just his nature and it wouldn't be the last time he stood up for her. This was the first time Hinata met Naruto and ever since then she felt safe when he was around. And that was the first time her heart would race at the sight of him.
He then again saved her life when the Kumogakure shinobi showed up before them when they were three years old. She will never forget his bravery that day as well. Even her father had acknowledged him after words. Something she had yet to achieve from her on dad.
"Are your legs tired still from training are you able to run?"
Hinata was confused maybe Naruto was more sexually mature than she thought.
"Aha J-Just a little but I will still be able to perform any duty you ask of me Naruto-dono."
Naruto sighed why is everyone so weird today "Okay Hinata relax its just us, can you sneak out of here and go to my clan compound and get me some clothes to wear today for some reason my clothes are missing even though both my Uchiha-ka and Hyuga-ka said I should have had an extra set or two here. I can't allow them to be punished for such an innocent offense."
At the realization that this was all a misunderstanding and that she was the one in fact being lewd. She blushed her blushed deepened as she also realized she was the cause of this whole misunderstanding. Now she would have to explain why his clothes were not where they were left.
"S-So the reason you called me in here was to sneak out and grab your clothes and nothing else."
"Yeah? Duh there is no way me and you would do the nasty Hinata. You're my best friend. I just needed a way to tell you about my circumstances without your father catching wind of this." Naruto stated. He missed the hurt look of Hinata at the words "best friend" Naruto had said this to her often. And before it didn't hold the same weight as it did now in her heart. The realization that after 4 years of friendship she was the only one in love hit her heart and she felt her first heart pang. Although she had just made up her mind to love and serve Naruto, because of this misunderstanding. A fact she previously denied.
"I know where your clothes are N-Naruto-dono." Hinata admitted embarrassingly.
Naruto's face lit up "really where are they" he said looking around the room as thought the clothes would somehow appear in the room.
"th-they are in my room I shall retrieve them" Hinata said getting up and leaving the room before Naruto even got to ask why they were there. Hinata did that purposefully so she wouldn't have to explain that she had wore them to sleep a few times in order to feel closer to him. She would never and could never admit to him that she did such a thing.
When she left the room Naruto's kaa-sans bowed in respect, but she didn't miss the look of curiosity they each had as Hinata turned away from them and ran down the hall to quickly gather Naruto's clothing. She grabbed her originally clothes as well. Thinking that she would no longer need to wear her provocative kimono anymore.
She returned to Naruto with his set of clothes and hers in arm. She gestured to his Hyuga-kaa to knock on the door for her seeing that her hands were full. As soon as the three women saw what Hinata had in her hands they felt a sense of relief flush over their bodies. Being able to plug in some of the missing information at just seeing their Masters clothes in the young heiress arms.
Knock... Knock "Lord Hinata has returned. Lord Naruto. "
"Send her in."
Hinata entered the room and placed Naruto's clothes on the guest bed. She continued to hold onto her clothes. Seeing his clothes Naruto gave a bright smile to her.
"Thanks, Hinata-chan I owe you one big time."
Hinata couldn't bring herself to tell him this was a misunderstanding because of her so she remained silent. Naruto looked and saw that she had her own change of clothing which relived him because he didn't like his friend's current attire.
"Hey, you should go in the bathroom and change after we can finally head to breakfast."
Hinata just nodded in silence and did what was asked of her. Closing the bathroom door, she proceeded to change her attire back to the clothes she previously had on. She was thinking about the events that just occurred. She was partially thankful that she was still a proper maiden and heiress, but she also was sad to see her relationship with Naruto had not developed yet like her and her father had hoped.
Ever since her first chance meeting with her savior. Once her father found out about her bullying from one of the Foxes apart of Naruto protection duty. Who had jumped in to defend Naruto and in return her from the bully Genin. Her father who would usually be furious at her weakness and cowardice. Praised her for the first time in her life for gaining the attention of Naruto. He had immediately dragged her to the Namikaze-Uzumaki clan compound with a literal wagon full of gifts to offer their thanks. Since then, her father has treated her kindly and she mused as long as she has good favor with Naruto her life will be as it is now.
Her father has shared his thoughts and his desire for her to please Naruto in whatever his heart desire from her. And has flat out told her that this is the only way he can see himself acknowledging a failure such as her.
She changed back into her normal attire and exited the bathroom to see Naruto sitting on the bed waiting for her. He had changed into his usually school wear as well. Wearing black cargo shorts. With a black and orange jacket that had both his clan symbols on either sleeve. He smiled warmly at her, and her heart skipped a beat. She returned his smile with a small one of her own.
Even though today was just a big misunderstanding Hinata had come to a realization amongst herself that she this day truly loved Naruto. And not for what other people love him for. But for the impact he had already made upon her life personally. She didn't care about his parents and their legacy. Or that he was the village hero who manage to help his legendary father defeat the Kyuubi as just a baby. He was her personal hero and for that she loved him.
They headed to the banquet hall along with Naruto's Oka-sans. Their breakfast was unusually quiet even Naruto was more engrossed with eating than conversation since he had worked up the appetite from their early morning workout. Hinata was glad that her father didn't press either Hinata or Naruto about what happened while he was away. He had only accepted when Naruto had stated simple that she helped him with a persona request only she could do and had reiterated that her Chasity was in fact still intact.
Although she could have sworn, she saw a disappointed look casted her way from her father. It was gone to fast, so she wasn't completely sure she had saw it correctly in the first place.
After breakfast Hinata and Naruto headed to the shinobi academy alongside his Nara-kaa, Hyuga-kaa and Uchiha-kaa. Naruto was the only student ever to be permitted servants with him at the academy although they were not allowed to listen to each lecture since they were not shinobi. They were allowed on the school premises and would help around the school in various matters unless personally requested by Naruto.
Naruto hated it. He was already the main person in the school's gossip ring, and the villages' gossip ring as a matter of fact. But the added attention of having his mother's at school made him a target for certain boy fractions for whatever reason.
As Naruto and Hinata reached their classroom they said goodbye to Naruto's mothers who would go and perform the duties on and around the school until called. Hinata walked in behind Naruto as they went for their seats.
Hinata and Naruto have been almost inseparable since they were 2. Hinata didn't really understand why Naruto liked her company, but she defiantly wasn't complaining. What she would complain about though although never to Naruto for obvious reasons was about his fan club. Their class was the youngest first year class in Konoha school history. Add on to the fact that their class had several notable members which included. Naruto the clan head of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans, they had Hinata herself who was right now the heiress to the Hyuga clan. They were other clan heirs as well. This most infamous of all was Sasuke Uchiha. Who was the second son of the clan head Fugaku Uchiha of the Uchiha. Brother to Itachi Uchiha who was a decorated service member in the Uchiha police force.
The fan clubs of Sasuke and Naruto didn't just consist of girls within her class either. Hinata had rivals outside her class. Even many upper class kunoichi's had expressed interest in the boys.
Hinata sighed at the thought as she sat down next to Naruto who was talking to a boy name Kiba. They were having an argument that Kiba started almost daily with Naruto about who was stronger between the two. From an outsider perspective the boys were having a heated debate, but Hinata had grown use to it and new that oddly enough the boys were bonding in a strange way she couldn't fully comprehend. But she knew Naruto consider Kiba a friend because outside of her he was the only person she knew to have visited Naruto outside of school.
"I'm telling you Naruto once my Akamaru becomes full grown he will be able to bite your head off with a simple command" Kiba boasted puffing his chest out then leaning back in his chair victoriously.
"Yea, yea Kiba liked I'd ever be sacred of sweet Akamaru." Naruto chuckled tossing a piece of jerky he had been snacking on towards the dog on Kiba's head who snatched the piece of meat out the air landed on the table in front the boys then went and licked Naruto's hand as a thankyou before returning to his master.
The action made Naruto bust out laughing while pointing at Kiba who turned to Akamaru and was complaining to the dog.
"Come on Akamaru you would betray me over Jerky!"
The question dog just barked which made Naruto laugh harder and Kiba sulk worse.
"HEYYY NARUTO-DONO"
Hinata huffed speaking of rivals her biggest by far had just appeared in class and as usual made a beeline for Naruto. Sasuke and Naruto both had large fan clubs but if Hinata judge by numbers she thinks Sasuke had more. It seemed to her that the girls at the academy liked Sasuke to cool for school attitude. Naruto was humbler than Sasuke, so he didn't have an air around him that she guesses some girls liked. To her Sasuke was attractive by no means could anyone say otherwise when it came to the physical part of loving someone. But Hinata had a hard time judging Sasuke heart. She had no idea sometimes if he truly thought he was better than everyone or if he just said that for whatever reason.
But this girl Hinata couldn't stand. The girl was attractive Hinata overheard many boys in and outside their class talking about her looks. But that wasn't why Hinata couldn't stand her it was because the girl had a charm that she didn't possess. This girl was Yamanaka Ino the ringleader of the Naruto fan club. Hinata felt her stomach turn as the girl made her way over to the table that held the three of them.
This girl just the year before school started was always talking with the other girls who converted to team Naruto about Sasuke. Now every day for the past 6 months since orientation she would carelessly and casually flirt with Naruto, and it drives Hinata crazy. The reason Hinata not only despised Ino wasn't because she wanted Naruto. Hinata wasn't crazy enough to think that she wouldn't have to compete for Naruto affection it was the fact that Naruto to her seemed more receptive of her flirtation than anyone else.
How could she be as loose as to switch from being a fan girl for Sasuke like everyone else to supposedly being head over heels for Naruto? Just like all the other girls who converted to team Naruto after orientation Hinata didn't like her. It pissed her off that even after mentioning multiple times to Naruto that the girl once was this way for Sasuke Naruto never even questioned it.
"Hey Ino-chan was sup?" Naruto replied giving his classmate a small smile.
Ino smiled brightly at Naruto staring him in his eyes with a confidence that Hinata lacked.
"Nothing much Naruto-kuuun, just wondering where I'm goanna sit today" Ino said before looking to Naruto's left and right both seats were occupied by Hinata and Kiba. Hinata didn't miss the extra second that Ino spent eyeing her. Which made Hinata drop her head. Hinata had a chance of competing with a lot of girls in the village for Naruto. She had the best relationship with him outside of school. She's known him the longest of anyone in their class she goes to his house, and he comes to hers. But even today when Naruto literally seen her body, he still calls her friend she lacks womanly charm that Ino has.
She could never let Ino know what happened this morning otherwise she sure Ino would gain confidence and would tease her to no end about how she basically threw herself at Naruto and he still didn't make any attempt at flirting or courting her.
She hates the familiarity that seemed to form between the two over the last 6 months when they even use familiar honorifics such as kun and chan with each other once the only bragging right Hinata had over all women at their school since most didn't know Naruto well enough to feel confident enough to speak to him so familiarly to him.
"Well Ino-chan as you can see this table is almost full, and me Hinata and Kiba were here first."
"I know. I know but I was wondering if they'd move so I can sit with you. You know I learn best next to you Naruto-kun." Ino smiled nicely at Naruto before giving a stern look to Hinata then Kiba.
Kiba just huffed out saying "As if I the top dog would give up my seat to you."
Kiba confidently leaned back putting his feet on the desk and his hands behind his head. Ino just rolled her eyes. She knew Kiba never would give up his seat for her. That wasn't her target in the first place. It was always Hinata. The timid Hyuga who somehow gain so much favor with her Naruto. Every day Ino had to find a way to squeeze herself between the two she was on Naruto like white on rice. Ino had even heard rumors that Hinata and Naruto walked to school together, but she still hadn't figured out the time of when he arrived to school to verify it. All she knew was they both arrived earlier than her. Even today she had left almost 45 minutes before school started. And she waited on the intersection of the road from the Namikaze- Uzumaki compound to the school with no luck. Little did she know that she was waiting for not because Naruto didn't leave to school from his home but Hinata's.
Ino fixed Hinata with a mean glare that she truly felt towards the girl. And smiled to herself as she watched the timid Hyuga squirm at just her glare.
"I-I don't want to move" Hinata barely whispered. Usually, Hinata couldn't reply and would just move to the last seat available at their table on the other side of Kiba sometimes even before Ino would make a scene like now... But Hinata had changed today she verbally declared to herself that Naruto was her love. And she meant it when she said she'd have to improve to be worthy of him. If she can't stand up to one girl, how can she face the rest? How can she say she deserves to be with the hero of the village her personal hero. A boy who is so far ahead of everyone in her eyes.
"I'm sorry what was that Hinata I didn't hear you." Ino said with a smile on her face that didn't match her eyes.
"I-I said N-n-no"
"W-w-w-well why not?" Ino mocked pressuring the girl more leaning over the table to stare directly into Hinata's soul. Hinata was visibly uncomfortable now she was shaking and not looking Ino in the eyes. This was the most pressure Ino had inflicted on the girl to date. Naruto watched the two and never understood why the girls bickered this way. Before he could jump in he heard a voice.
"YO Ino relax" a girl said behind Ino. Naruto looked up to see Sakura the pink haired girl with the crazy mom behind Ino. Sakura had some books in her hand and must've arrived to class shortly after Ino. Naruto knew that the two of them were friends who often had lunch together when Ino didn't try to eat lunch with him. He learned that Sakura was not only pretty but she was smart. Being 1 of the 3 shinobi in their class coming from a non-shinobi clan family he was always impressed by her. When he was younger he wanted to avoid her mainly because of his mom, but now he has had 6 months to see and learn about her he liked Sakura. More than he let on, unlike the rest of the class who either tried to avoid him or constantly talked to him. Sakura still hasn't even introduced herself to him. He figured it was because of her childhood but still she avoids conversation with him and only bows in passing the only form of acknowledgement he has retrieved from her. He often thinks about introducing himself to her but doesn't want to bother her too much. She kept to herself and always sat Next to or close by Sasuke Uchiha. Who heard from Kiba that she was Sasuke's "Number one bitch" as Kiba put.
Naruto didn't like that verbiage from Kiba but understood his point Sakura only had eyes for Sasuke. Naruto has tried to understand why said Uchiha doesn't talk to anyone really. He is also the only person in the class who doesn't bow when passing by Naruto. Naruto believes the boy doesn't like him, but Naruto has never said anything to him! How does the always angry and to cool for school duck butt get a kindhearted and strong girl like Sakura. Naruto is smart because of his training and strong but he can't understand to politics of girls.
The only person he feels comfortable talking about his confusion with is Jiraiya, but he always says something pervy that ruins the moment.
"Stay out of it forehead this has nothing to do with you." Ino barked at her friend.
"What you say idiot!?" Sakura challenged which moved Ino's glare from Hinata to Sakura who matched the girl's glare. Choji Akimichi the heir to the Akimichi clan and Shikamaru Nara walked in the class at that moment.
Immediately seeing the fight between Ino and Sakura Shikamaru sighed saying "Look Choji the class nuts are at each other's throats again."
Choji just nodded and threw some potato chips in his mouth.
Both Ino and Sakura heard him and placed there glares on to Shikamaru who was hiding behind his bigger friend. The girls were threating the young Nara heir as the two approached them. The boys had to pass the angry women in order to get to an empty chair to sit for class. So Shikamaru was using his friend as a shield. While that was going on and the two girls were trying to get past Choji to pummel the Nara. Sasuke walked in the class hands in pockets and looking as though he was two cool for school.
Immediately upon noticing him Sakura shouted.
"Hey Sasuke-kun you forgot your book yesterday here I grabbed it for you." As she was saying this, she pushed passed bout Choji and Shikamaru to reach Sasuke. Not carrying about anyone's wellbeing as she did.
She smiled gently at Sasuke who hadn't even looked at her even though she was staring at him and standing right in front of him slightly out of breath after having bulldozed through to male students.
A loud gasp was heard as the whole class had collectively made the same noise at the same time because of something. Sakura had followed the eyes of Sasuke who was looking at something. She turned her head and blushed to see Ino pushed on the table directly in front of Naruto with their lips interlocked. Naruto was in shock it all happened so fast Sakura had saw the Uchiha walk in the class and had pushed past Choji and Shikamaru. Choji had lost balance because of this and Bump Ino who was sent flying his direction. Before he knew it her face had smashed into his and her lips were pressed softly but firmly against his. He was so shocked he couldn't move his eyes were wide open. And staring at Ino who to his surprise he had saw close her eyes after their lips made contact and he even felt her tongue trace the outer part of his lips. His first kiss was this, not that he could say it was a bad one he just didn't know what to do.
"UMMHMM. Naruto-dono Ino-dono can I see you two outside for a moment." Iruka sensei had arrived walking in on his class ogling the two shinobi students kissing in his class.
Only at hearing Iruka sensei voice did both Ino and Naruto pull apart. Ino had a hand lightly running over her lips back still turned to Iruka. A blush on her cheeks and a love smitten smile casted on her face. Her eyes held a kind of drunkenness that made it look like she was lost in her own head. She looked a Naruto and her smile visibly widen when she saw the cute blush on his face.
So, it was you first kiss as well Naruto- kun Ino laughed internally before looking towards Hinata. She knew her thought was correct not only because of Naruto reaction but Hinata's. Who looked horrified by what she saw. When their eyes met Ino felt a pang of sadness at the tears slowly developing in her eyes. Hinata notice Ino's gaze and casted her own gaze towards her lap.
Ino knew that today she had won a great victory over all of Naruto's fan girls. Hinata might walk to school with him every day, but I alone have his first kiss!
Ino and Naruto made their way out of class where Iruka told them they'd both have detention after school for public display of affection telling both blushing kids to keep their love affair out of his classroom and off school grounds. They joined the rest of the class and Naruto had noticed that Hinata had moved over by Kiba and refused to meet his gaze. Even at lunch where she usually would accompany him and His mother's she was absent. Unsurprisingly Ino had joined them and although his mothers were kind to her, they did not treat her with the familiarity of Hinata when they were all together at his clans' compound.
During lunch Ino had surprised both him and his mother's when she bowed and gave her sincerity apology for the accidental kiss earlier and getting him detention for it. Naruto had shyly accepted. But was roughly bumped by his Uchiha-kaa who gave him a stern motherly gaze. He stood up and also bowed an apology for his part in the accidental kiss.
Their lunch was interrupted by the sudden appearance of an ANBU member who appeared in front the group.
"Lord Naruto-sama, your presence has been requested by the hokage." The Anbu said.
"What? Now I'm at school can't gramps wait?"
"Sadly no, Naruto-sama I am to escort you and your mothers to the Hokage tower. Your other 4 Oka-sans have been notified and already are at the tower."
"What does this have to do with?"
"It has to do with you and Lady Hinata attempted Kidnaping by Kumogakure three years ago."
Naruto was confused even more now are they still investigating the incident? He had already told them everything he knew. Sighing Naruto got up with his mothers and started walking away with the ANBU member. Before he went too far, he heard Ino call his name.
"Naruto-kun wait "
He turned to see a blushing Ino running towards Him. Naruto waited and when she got to him, she gave him one more bow.
"I'd like to apologize for one more thing Naruto-kun."
"Huh?"
Still bowing Ino lifted her head she had the brightest most pure and true smile on her face that he'd ever seen. He for the first time was smitten by the beauty and pure innocence of a women. Still bowing but looking directly in his eyes she said
"I'm sorry but I quite enjoyed our accidental kiss and would like to be your girlfriend!"
Naruto was shocked he looked back but the ANBU and his mothers were just ahead and waiting on him. He wasn't sure if they heard the Yamanaka girl or not. Naruto felt his blood racing he had no idea what was happing to him, but he liked this side of Ino. Before he could reply Ino continued.
"You don't have to reply now, just know the day you have feelings for me I will be waiting. Even if that day is after my death."
Ino said blushing cutely she looked like a regular girl who just confessed to her crush. "Well, I know you have to go, I'll see you later in detention, okay?"
Without waiting for his goodbye Ino took off running towards the school. After a few steps she turned around and waved a final goodbye before dashing off out of sight. For the first time in Naruto life his heart skipped a beat. And he was left staring at the place Ino had just disappeared to.
Lost in thought of Ino's confession the walk to the Hokage's tower was a blur. Even amongst reaching the Tower and heading into the council room. Which should have been a red flag for Naruto, but he didn't notice. Even seeing all the different clan heads and members of the civilian council didn't shake Naruto out his thoughts. He just automatically went to his designated chair as a clan head. He missed all the introductions being done and all the formalities about the meeting. Only when his name was called by the hokage did Naruto look around.
"Naruto- sama do you have something you wish to say?"
"Huh?'
The Hokage chuckled lightly.
"Naruto did you hear what I said previously" The blond-haired boy shook his head and the Hokage sighed.
"As recompense for the attempted kidnaping on you and Lady Hinata 3 years ago. And to retrieve the dead bodies of the slain ninja of Kumogakure the Raikage has offered you a marriage proposal as a peace offering. Now it is my view as well as every shinobi in here that you accept their proposal. You will lose nothing you will remain a citizen of Konoha your status will not change. It states here that if the betrothal were accepted Kumogakure will provide a fit women of noble clan birth your same age to be sent here on the day of your 7th birthday in 3 months on the day of the memorial festival held yearly to honor you and your parents' sacrifice., to Konoha to become a Konoha citizen and shinobi should YOU allow it. Also, her clan's knowledge and abilities would be under your authority."
The Hokage said rereading the proposal to everyone present.
"Wh-What about marrying the girl I fall in love with? Like my Oka-sans talk about."
Naruto said with a blushing face as Ino's cute confession enters his head. The clan head mumble amongst each other and the Hokage chuckled lightly at his innocence.
"Naruto no one is saying that you cannot do that."
"But if I marry this person then how can I." he asked confused.
"Every shinobi here since your birth has been aware and has signed a CRA for your clan. Which means Naruto you will be permitted to marry any women you deem fit to stabilize your clans."
"But isn't that immoral?" Naruto asked curiously he had heard of the CRA during his studies with his Nara kaa. And he was always curious as to why she had taught that matter more than once and in detail.
"Usually here in Konoha it frowned upon for polygamous marriages but even we can recognize extreme case. You Naruto-sama are an extreme case. We'd all would not blame you for doing such we encourage such behaviors from you."
Naruto sighed taking in his surroundings and reflecting on something his father's scroll said.
"Being a shinobi is asking children to play the parts of men. No shinobi has had a regular childhood. We all have had to grow up in one way or another. My dear son I'm sorry I won't be present to help guide you on your life path. But as you read this scroll, I hope the realization has reached you mind that you are not just the beloved son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, you are now the voice of our two clans. You are our real legacy. This comes with a responsibility you should not bare, but you do grow wise my son."
Its time for me to grow up Naruto thought.
They shinobi council wants him to accept this peace offering, but why shouldn't our military might be greater than Kumogakure?
"I understand Hokage-sama please share with me though why we are leaning towards accepting this proposal though I don't fully understand" Naruto said humbly.
"Well as you know Kumogakure attempted kidnapping is an act of war. One such that they'd usually be able to deny their involvement in such crimes, but since the shinobi they sent were slain thanks to the outstanding work of Fugaku Uchiha's Secret police and their notably member Fox 4 we recovered the bodies of the Kumo shinobi and for the past three years have been gaining allies for war and talking with Kumogakure on avoiding said war. We have the number and power strength over Kumogakure without a doubt. But financially we can not afford a 3rd shinobi war at this point. Kumogakure on the other hand can afford the war but they don't have the military power to win the war. So, it is in their and our best interest to have peace for the time being. That is why the Raikage has offered this to us and to you."
Naruto nodded his head in understanding.
So basically, if I don't accept, I will bring war to our nation a war that would leave many homeless in poverty. I cannot refuse.
"Can I at least meet her?" Naruto asked hopefully.
The hokage shook his head. "It clearly states that the girl will only arrive after the betrothal were to be accepted. Think about it Naruto-san. Would you want us to send you to a foreign village were you could be captured with nothing but a few letters that can be burned being the only proof you are even there. The Raikage is also looking after the people of his village and the young lady he is offering to you. "
Naruto sighed again it makes sense. The Raikage needs assurance that we wont just kidnap the girl and use her as ransom or a way to start another war.
"I guess I have no other choice. To maintain the peace within our village and the shinobi world I accept."
Naruto said. He stood up without permission mumbling.
"I humbly request to be allowed to exit." But left without waiting for the Hokage's reply. The other shinobi clan heads as well as the civilian council watched their young hero leave. The hokage sighed seeing the sad look in the boys' eyes. Fugaku Uchiha spoke breaking the silence.
"Again, the Namikaze-Uzumaki clan has saved us from conflict. We ask a lot of the boy I can excuse his rudeness."
Heads nodded in agreement.
"He came to a logical conclusion very quickly and made the best choice given the circumstances. I'd like to believe that this is due to Nara Mona tutelage she has proven effective in my clan, but still the boy has a mind of a genius. But he is also just a 6-year-old child. The last person I remember showing such a great world understanding is Itachi and we all know he is the definition of the word protégé. "Nara clan head stated.
"Speaking of which since we are all present Fugaku-dono can we discuss the next topic of this meeting about Naruto-dono protection detail."
Fugaku nodded in agreement "Of course Hokage-sama. Fox 4 enter."
At that moment a breeze was felt in the room by all. And a man appeared kneeling Infront of the council members. The man wore the uniform of the Uchiha police. but his Fox mask identified he was a part of the secret special task force assigned with the protection of Naruto.
At first when each clan head went to their clans to find shinobi to join the task force, they mainly got interest from young shinobi no greater than chunin. Most of the ANBU and high ranking Jonin just thought it was babysitting duty and didn't want to do it. But after the attacked and attempted kidnapping of Naruto in Konoha everyone soon realized the seriousness of the protection detail. It was viewed as challenging and as honoring as protecting the Fire Daimyo. Since then, they had a number of requests from all shinobi and now the task force consists of some of the most powerful members of Konoha's shinobi force. And fox 4 was now a captain within said force although he was merely 12 years old.
"It is okay to unmask yourself my son" Fugaku said to the masked man.
"Yes father." The boy said pulling off is. Showing his face to the council who already knew that the infamous fox 4 who slain the Kumogakure shinobi to protect Naruto 3 years ago was non other than Itachi Uchiha the heir to the Uchiha clan. And the youngest Anbu member in Konoha history.
"Give us your report on Naruto-sama" The hokage spoke. "Hold nothing back."
"Yes milord, Naruto-sama protection detail works round the clock. Since the incident with Kumogakure we have caught several intruders trying to enter Konoha via the same route previously taking with non-ever being able to break through our security. It is in my opinion that for now he still requires us. Although soon I believe that will change."
Everyone was shocked to hear that "Are you saying that the boy is becoming strong enough to defend himself."
Itachi nodded "That is exactly what I'm saying, he has started learning his clans ninjutsu and I believe he is just days away from learning the rasengan. Also, under Jiraiya- sama tutelage he often spots and finds his security, We have had to fire any shinobi who is not at least ANBU level at this point because he finds them so easily. I believe our task force will soon need to be redirected."
The shinobi council was appalled silence filled the air. Here they were thinking the boy as still a kid with a good mind. But now the youngest and most notable shinobi born in recent years outside of Naruto is stating that he and others like him will no longer be needed to protect Naruto who is just 6!
The hokage broke the silence "You said that Naruto-san is learning the rasengan how is his training with Jiraiya-san going.
"Its going very well Hokage-sama as stated the boy no doubt will have mastered the rasengan in a few days in my opinion. He trains endlessly with shadow clones, and I've seen him manifest the rasengan with my own eyes. Yet he seems dissatisfied with its current state. He is a very hard worker and very sharp witted at times. He trains often in the mornings with Lady Hinata and every night with Jiraiya- sama even today his mental intellect and political prowess cannot be denied having come here and disregarded his personal feelings to do what's best for the village. He surprises me daily and to me is the living embodiment of the will of fire we all grew up learning about. He has forced me and many others who look over him to no longer view him as a child I advise the council to do the same."
They knew the boy had learned shadow clone jutsu from Jiraiya but hearing that he is close to mastering lord 4th own ninjutsu is appalling. Learning the shadow clone jutsu is already hard and to hear of the master he has over it is also scary if the rumors he can create hundreds are true. Now learning that he has almost mastered the rasengan would put him in a world of his own.
Sighing the hokage nodded "Thank you for your briefing we will allow you to return to your duty" Hokage said looking to Fugaku who dismissed his son. Who just as quickly as he appeared vanished.
"Well, it looks like we were concerned for nothing. I guess we should talk about how to better use the special task force in the near future."
With voices could be heard in the council chambers as they tried to think of solutions to different problems facing Konoha. Back with Naruto who was just walking gloomy back towards the school. Fox 4 had caught up with him and was watching the boy intently. He had been the first Uchiha to volunteer for the task force and Itachi knew that Naruto was special. Watching the boy since birth Itachi had watched the boy struggle to find his identity seemingly not wanting to accept all the praise and honor he'd received since birth.
Itachi had hypothesis that Naruto would grow arrogant like an Uchiha and much like his little brother and had been surprised when to this day the boy didn't show a hint of arrogance. He enjoyed watching the boy struggle with the feminine attention. Feeling less bad about himself who also had the same issue. He watched as the boy trained hard to the point of exhaustion since his rescue three years ago. The amount of growth he showed in that timeframe is the greatest he'd ever witnessed yet the boy never bragged. He visited the orphanages often he helped who ever he could. He felt a compassion often lacking in their shinobi world. Itachi almost wished he could speak to the boy more personally but couldn't deny himself the duty. Which would lead to him speaking about the boy with his father although only in briefings. He also had shared bits and pieces with his own brother. Who sadly is being filled with the Uchiha clan pride. Itachi also learned not to talk to Sasuke about Naruto because that pride led to jealousy and hate that he didn't want his brother to have. So that just left their little sister who is Sasuke's twin but has been sick since birth with a rare disease, so the Uchiha clan doesn't talk about her and hid her birth until she fully recovered as to not bring shame to them, but Itachi doesn't share their sentiment. After work Itachi would often see her and tell her thoughts about everything about Naruto, about Their clan and the rise in Pride within it that has become contagious and infectious like her disease.
Itachi wasn't sure how much she could hear and understand due to her sickness, but she would always try to remain awake and listen to him since he was really her only consistent visitor. So, he always spoke openly to her. As he thought about his little sister a smile appeared on his face hidden by the fox mask. He hoped one day she can join him and Sasuke in the outside world.
Naruto was deep in thought as he walked through the courtyard of the Shinobi academy. He had hoped for along time that things wouldn't change. That he can stay in the comfort of his home with is mothers forever, but Jiraiya-sensei and Iruka-sensei and his father and mothers scrolls where all saying and hinting at the same thing. He has a responsibility on his shoulders not just for Konoha but for the whole word if he truly wants to complete the mission of his father and Jiraiya-sensi of world peace he not only needed to be a world class shinobi like then but have the mental acuity to do it. He needed to get stronger both physically and politically he needed to master his father and mothers jutsu. He needed to graduate from the academy and impact the world. With his mind set and new goals placed he picked his head up and decided.
The time for games has past from this point forward I will accept my responsibilities and move forward.
A/N that's all folks. Ima leave it short but I will continue this story just need three reviews. This is going to have to move into an AU story but trust I will keep the essence of Naruto within this story to the best of my ability. But it will be AU simply because it must be since its not completely based on canon anime.
