After the fall of Fire Lord Ozai, the world is trying to heal but new problems continue to surface and Zuko seeing the death certificate in front of him can no longer put off the uncomfortable but necessary conversation with the Avatar.

After the end of the war, Zuko and Toph have a chance to go on their overdue adventure to find The Boulder after he has mysteriously gone missing. Though the two friends are planning on this being a fun trip, new dangers created by an altered world could be more than they expect.

What happens when friendship is put to the test as people grow and change. What about past wrongs and indiscretions. Do those feelings fade or change? How does one go on? Some of the events, as well as the cover picture, are from the Dark Horse Comic, The Rift (Part 3) mainly.

Azula has battled with expectations since she was born, not knowing anything but the need to surpass them. So when a certain peasant, born from a chance encounter between two nations, appears in her life, showing her a trust and presence she has lacked all her life, the course of her path shifts into unknown depths.

(Post S3E08 "Puppetmaster") Katara isn't taking her encounter with Hama and her bloodbending too well. Sokka does his best to not let it drag her down.

A second after the solar eclipse and firebending returns to the world, Ozai shoots lightning towards Zuko. A second after that, born of instinct inside every human being, Zuko dodges. Instead of running away from his father, Zuko faces him. Not willing to put the weight of the world on a 13 year old's shoulders, Zuko fights. He screams for all to hear. "Agni Kai!"

For every Avatar, there was a Protector, one who came from the element the Avatar was born into previously in the cycle. A Protector's job and duty is to guard the Avatar's reincarnations into the next elements by ANY means necessary, even if the Protector's own life is forfeit. For Aang, the Air-Born Avatar, his Protector is Ren, the Spirit-Son of a dragon and human woman.

This is a story about meetings and second chances. No one could ever determine the importance of one meeting to change your life; but a collection of brief passing and multiple encounters to shape your destiny. It's an old but well-known Fire Nation saying: The heart of a hearth is forever faithful. There's a difference between running away from something at your back, and running toward something you see in the distance. Or: The lesson Ozai tries to teach and the lesson Zuko learns are two very different things. Also featuring Jet the bodyguard, who is done with absolutely everything.

Now she lives out her days as one of the most well known bounty hunters in the Earth Kingdom, always looking foward to the next battle. When she recieved a contract for the Avatar, she expected it to be a quick and easy job,. What she didn't expect was Toph.

General Hao is the youngest officer in the Fire Nation Military, when he finds out about the fire nation's crimes, the fire nation finds itself not only fighting against its enemies but its soldiers as Hao rises to become a legend.
