When the planned marriage between Fíli and Sigrid falls through, Kíli finds himself volunteering before he even has a chance to question his Maker on the finer points. Like, how did a hasty proposal to the wrong daughter morph into what Kíli suspects might be his perfect match? Or, how is he to convince a perfectly-imperfect princess that she holds his heart in her tiny grasp?

When Bard comes across a group of dwarves on the edge of Mirkwood, he doesn't want to help, until he notices a woman is traveling with them. He helps them, not realizing that he might just find healing, and fall in love. Bluebell have known both love and grief, but never a man like Bard. Former Bilbo/OC. Present Bard/OC. Jealous Thorin. OC is like a fem Bilbo.

It was a time for gifts. Mahal had given them so much.
