In the kingdom of Legolas, the dwarves have been in prison for their misdeeds for a few nights. However, Kili is only thinking of that elf woman who put the tip of her sword up to her chin a few days ago. The brown one has a mind invaded by new feelings that are strange to him.

The last thing he remembers is the blinding pain of the orc's weapon in his back and the thick (too warm, so horribly warm) bubble of his own blood in his throat. Then there is nothingness for a blissful moment. Fili wakes screaming.

This was supposed to be a whumpy one-shot. Then it became more, but it was still not going to be a Tauriel/Thranduil fic. Then I gave in. Can I even write a Hobbit fic that isn't Tauriel/Thranduil?
