"A Cat in the Dark Redux" is a rewriting of my old story "A Cat in the Dark," only better. It follows Dar'Saro, a Khajiit assassin in the Dark Brotherhood.

I thought I was destined to be no one in particular. And I was happy about that. Then I went off to Skyrim to join the Bard's College and ended up nearly killed, proclaimed Dragonborn, and told I was supposed to save the world, bring about world peace, and feed the children. And I have this really annoying companion I'm hopelessly in love with. And no, I am NOT okay with this.

This is based on the 100 theme challenge by Momma-Ran on DeviantArt so I decided to use the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for my take on it. This story is centered around my Dovahkiin - a Dunmer native to the Ashlands of Vvardenfell by the name of Thorokyne. Each chapter is a stand alone one-shot, however, they're linked enough I'm putting them together in one story.

Lord Nerevar Indoril has gone against his adviser's wishes and made peace with the Dwemer and their king, Dumac Dwarf-king. Even worse, he as started a friendship with Dumac.
