Izuku wasn't having a very good day, actually he was having a bad week if he was being honest with himself.
Endeavour's return to the South Side was merely the cherry on top of his very bad, no good week.
He had a new very green gang tried to make a move on his territory Kumamoto which of course caused an uproar with the local branch of Night Crawlers and Russian Vipers, a fight that he had to intervene in to prevent any casualties, at the end of it five of his students needed to go to the hospital and Izuku had to argue with some doctors about the fifth being admitted due to her quirk.
Arguing about whether a seventeen-year-old should be treated despite her quirk being a "danger" to others in the hospital that needed life-support, with the receptionist arguing they couldn't guarantee that the staff wouldn't feed the girl a piece of pineapple by accident and trigger her tech dead-zone quirk.
That hour of his life put him in an utterly foul mood for the rest of the day and his students knew it, so he had to give an hour long lecture how just because their people were idiots that would've let a kid with a head wound rot didn't mean they were allowed to burn the hospital to the ground, which was harder to do since he was tempted to let the Vespas make good on exposing the quirkist receptionist.
Arranging the funeral for the twenty people who died because Endeavour being... himself, certainly didn't help with all the stress he's been under trying to find a way to not to die, overthrow All For One and his oppressive empire, and keep people from killing themselves needlessly over him.
He also made time to check in with Ochaco-Chan, Mezo-Kun, and Awa-Kun since they were all deeply hurt by what had happened that day with Endeavour and were only slightly more healthy than he was in his coping methods.
Ochaco-Chan was a ball of emotions that didn't quite know how to express them and once he gave her a possible outlet she had taken to it with zeal, it wasn't uncommon to hear from his students she had been asking around the gangs in the South Side for someone that would teach her to fight, and he had given them permission to teach her how to fight so long as it was supervised.
Awa-Kun however was tamer and gotten himself into a martial arts course and a gym membership so he'd be more usefully than just as a support, he had also asked Izuku if there was anything else he should work on to round out his weaknesses or if there was anything he forgot to add in his new training schedule.
Mezo-Kun had been more focused on helping the group of people left homeless and had become more involved in the community in general, his quirk training had been more intense as well and was doubling down on learning ways to improve his speed and defense's so that he was a living tank.
Speaking of those people Izuku had of course welcomed them into the community center and admittedly appreciated Mezo-Kun being there to handle things in person for him, Dabi and Iguchi-San had been a massive help with dealing with the aftermath.
Unfortunately for Izuku his misery didn't end there and there were a few more incidents at his other properties that he'd need to address some of them in person at some point and Aris-San would need him to go down there to talk about what was going on with the orphans' garden since a hero had broken one of the flower beds.
And don't get him started on what happened at the mall, he didn't want to think about what could've happened to that poor boy.
Izuku currently was walking home from visiting Soki-San and seeing how well he was adjusting in the apartment Masao-San helped him move into once he was released from the hospital, Soki-San seemed to be doing a bit better though he was worried how well Ren-Kun would handle the six years he had been sentenced with.
Izuku had tried his best to reassure Soki-San and even offered to help arrange for someone to help him visit Ren-Kun every weekend, as much as he wished Ren-Kun didn't have to be in imprisoned for that long Ren-Kun was insisted on a six year sentence because he wanted to be out after he was sure he couldn't be put in the foster system and separated even further from his dad.
Izuku really hated learning about that frankly ridiculous Japanese law about quirked children being removed from two-toes if their quirked partner passed away or left them.
Perhaps it had merit at one point in history but it felt like a personal slight from the universe that two-toes could adopt quirked kids but not keep their own if they had quirks, it was just so stupid.
So, it was safe to say Izuku was quite burnt out as he made his way to the station and he was just about to enter the building when a swirl of purple-black mist suddenly popped into existence in front of him.
The shock of it suddenly appearing didn't register at first and by the time Izuku realized what he was looking at it was too late and he was half way inside it and it was tugging him in the rest of the way, and he distantly understood he had just been kidnapped.
For a moment all Izuku could feel was surrounded by a concentration of mist floating in darkest until he was just as quickly spat right back out and he stumbled once his feet were back on the ground, Izuku couldn't help coughing on the mist that strongly smelled of ozone and quickly shook his head to clear his vision so he could see where he was.
The first thing was how relieved he was to not be in either a cell or a in front of a firing squad, with the relief to calm him slightly Izuku looked around with much calmer eyes.
His eyes found the only two people in the room with him.
One a young man with pale blue hair in his early twenties with his head hung as he played a game on hand-held console with one finger on each hand held up, Izuku guessed the man had some kind of five point contact quirk that mess with the console otherwise, though the oddly colored disconnected hands all over his body were an odd sight even for him.
The second was the one who had brought him here since their entire body was made of swirling purple-black mist, Izuku wasn't sure if the person was naturally humanoid in form or if they were manipulating their body into the suit and neck brace, their thin glowing yellow eyes were on him and the person was cleaning a single.
Where he was taken was a darkened bar Izuku could've sworn that he's seen before in pre-quirk movies left him feeling more comfortable with his surroundings not even bothered by how seedy the place looked because it was much like the areas he worked in the red-light districts.
Izuku stared at it all then took a deep breath then exhaled as he understood what had likely happened, a pair of villains had abducted him something that he had expected to happen at some point, he'd only not been abducted before now because most people probably knew better.
That being said even though he expected this it did not make him less annoyed with them and he'd still be cautious as he didn't know why he had been kidnapped, whether it was because he was a two-toes or his identity as Deku-Sensei, and Izuku wasn't sure which of this reasons were the lesser of the two evils.
Izuku could only hope for his students sake that this wasn't going to turn into some kind of hostage situation or Юрий-Сан would never let him go anywhere alone again after he heard about this from the Vespas, Izuku would eat his scarf if Юрий-Сан wasn't paying the family hand or fist to keep an eye on his activities.
Izuku rubbed the bridge of his nose hoping it would somehow ease the future headache he knew he'd get once he had been returned, it would take him a lot of talking to get everyone to calm down after this stunt.
After taking his moment Izuku turned his gaze back to the other two "I presume one of you are interested in my services?" Izuku guessed and Pale-blue scoffed pausing whatever game he was playing to look up letting Izuku see his red eyes through the hand on his face.
"I'm not leveling up fast enough, so I told Kurogiri to fetch me a skill quest or a cheat code to gain more Exp." Pale-blue's voice was very horse and one of his hands came up to scratch at faint lines on his neck, marks that had occurred so often Izuku could see them from across the room.
"Apparently the NPCs rate you as the best on offer." Pale-blue commented and Izuku noted his choice of gaming language but ultimately relieved that he was indeed here for work and not some other nefarious reason.
"Alright, considering you've gone to the trouble of abducting me instead of paying for group lessons, I'll hazard a guess you want private sessions." Izuku responded crossing his arms.
Misty, perhaps the Kurogiri Pale-blue had mentioned inclined their head in their form of a nod "Private lessons would be ideal." Misty calmly confirmed and Izuku was certain they were older than either of them if only by mental maturity.
Izuku reached into his pocket for a pen and then approached the bar to grab a napkin "Here are my contact details, we can arrange for further details later." Izuku said quickly writing the number of a separate phone he used for more... dubious business.
Misty's hand gently took the paper and placed it in a pocket "How would you like your payment?" Misty inquired.
Izuku glanced around the bar and noted it was on the nicer end of them, and the bottles of alcohol behind Misty were the pricey stuff he's seen Юрий-Сан drink time from time, he could probably get quite a lot of money but his eyes went back to Misty's body and the fact he had a teleportation quirk.
"Normally I'd charge about ¥2,600 in cash, however I'd be willing to forgo payment entirely if I could possibly be allowed to use your quirk regularly to get from one place to another." Izuku offered, he wasn't sure how Misty's quirk worked but if it could get him from one place to another he'd save a lot of time and money that could instead be used to help his students, and perhaps depending on how accurate the quirk was he could even go in person to help his students.
Pale-blue glared at Izuku while Misty remained silent "What makes you think you're in any position to make demands NPC?" Pale-blue growled standing from where he sat on a stool to walk over and glare down on him.
Izuku glanced up at Pale-blue and locked eyes with the man "Because I'm a DLC character, you only get my special assets if you're willing to pay the right price for them." Izuku explained flatly.
Pale-blue's eyes twitched and he leaned down likely to look more threatening. "DLC isn't necessary to beat the game." the man hissed venomously.
Perhaps in another world Izuku would feel intimidated to have such a threatening man in his face, but Izuku has spent years surviving in the bowels of Japan and had been threatened by far more dangerous and genuinely scary people.
"No, I'm not. But you won't get the special skills I can give you without hacking, and even then you won't get my special character specific ending without completing my arc, hacking or not." Izuku pointed out blankly.
Pale-blue huffed and sat back down muttering curses, angrily scratched at his neck and would likely break the skin and cause bleeding, something that gravely concerned Izuku but didn't say anything since he wasn't on good enough terms with the man yet, though he noted Pale-blue did not ever use all five fingers on himself which was... odd.
Reluctantly turning his gaze back to Misty "I'm a very busy man and if you could drop me off at this address that would be much appreciated." Izuku requested writing an address on a second napkin.
Misty included his head again "Of course, thank you for your cooperation." Misty spoke then opened another portal with the wave of a hand.
Izuku gave Misty a bow then walked into the portal, the experience was quite more pleasant this time around since he was expecting the much softer tugging and the delay, when the mist spat him back out he was in a public bathroom within walking distance of a station he could use to get home.
Izuku's shoulders sagged, and he pulled out his phone, first to text his mom he had "missed" his train and would be late by a few minutes, then he pulled out his work phone planning to call up one of the Vespas to find out a little more about his newest "clients".
