Nejire couldn't help bouncing as she raced through the halls looking for a certain someone.

Miyake might not approve of her all but running through the halls but she was on a mission today and come hell or high water she was going to do it today if she had to double-jump through the halls and off the walls.

Ever since Midoriya, Miyake's old tutor, showed up as Bullet-Sensei's TA she had wanted to invite him to hang out and get to know him better, they rarely saw Miyake visibly react to things and Midoriya had certainly brought one out of Miyake.

So naturally she wanted to speak with him one-on-one... but then Mirio got a bucket dropped on his head and he had a break-down in Recovery girl's office, oh if she ever saw that Ueno or his friends again…

*No, no! Finding Midoriya was the priority now.* Nejire scolded herself focusing her mind on searching for dark green and bushy.

She was going to yesterday but she couldn't find hide nor hair of him which was disappointing but understandable according to Miyake, Midoriya was very busy day-to-day and incredibly dedicated to his students.

But this time Nejire was going to look for him before they started after school training so he would hopefully still be on the grounds and she was hoping to catch him before he left to have him help with their training.

Miyake had told them Midoriya was a quirk counselor and he might be able to help Mirio gain some confidence in his quirk and maybe even some strategies that Mirio could use to help him in the future.

She was aware most people saw her as a bit ditsy and dense but that was hardly her fault, constantly being flooded with energy from basically everything made it almost impossible to remain still in any form, the influx would quickly overwhelm her if she didn't do something to keep herself moving just a little bit.

The only good part of it was that it made studying almost comically easy. Nejire had loved reading when she was younger because she could just shut down for a few seconds, the brain took up a ton of energy to function so she could be a bit calmer.

That changed as she got older and got even more energy pouring into her, which sucked because she loved reading and she had yet to find a form of exercise she could do while reading so her reading was almost limited just to her school books.

And that combined with her "hyper-activity" caused her to be viewed as an airhead and she could admit she was pretty pushy when it came to her relationships and especially her friendships, but she had a very good reason for it!

She wasn't a full expert on quirk science, but she knew her family and its line of quirks well, so she knew that she wouldn't have long with her friends and so she wanted to make as many memories as she could with them.

Which was why she really needed to find Midoriya already damn it! The sooner she found him the sooner she could help Mirio and he could feel better about himself, she didn't want to look back a century or two later and curse herself for not doing everything in her power to help him.

*There! * She cried in her head spotting the boy and proceeded to tackle the boy "Found ya!" she yelled almost falling over but Midoriya quickly found his balance and kept them both upright "Oh, oops, sorry Midoriya-Sensei." she apologized rubbing the back of her head and removing herself from him.

Midoriya for his part didn't seem all that bothered as he straightened out his clothes "Hello Hado, I take it there's something you need from me?" Midoriya guessed and she nodded bouncing on her heels.

"Yup, yup! My friends always stay after school to train by ourselves and Miyake-Chan says you know bunches about quirks so I was hoping you could stay for a bit to give us some pointers. Maybe suggest some types of training that would be better suited for our quirks, ya know that kind of thing." Nejire explained her hands moving absent mindedly and she hoped he didn't see her as being overactive.

Midoriya blinked and held a hand up to his chin as he clearly thought it over with a hum "I guess I could spare a few minutes, which training area are you working at? And with who?" he asked and Nejire was just glad he didn't turn her away after she tackled him, not one of her better moves admittedly.

"We use the P.E. fields mostly since it has a wide area but I booked us one of the gyms today- Oh but which one was? I know it was the one we tried out our costumes first year, oh come on what was the name? Why does this place have so many gyms?" Nejire grumbled.

"Gym Delta?" Midoriya offered and she clapped then pointed at him.

"Yes! That one!" she proclaimed "They're probably already there waiting for us, c'mon Mido!" Nejire commented grabbing onto his arm and started to drag him along with her to the gym.

"Um, not to distract you Hado, but you didn't tell me who we were going to meet with." Midoriya pointed out and Nejire quickly came back to herself.

"Ah, right. We're going to meet up with Jiki-Chan- oh I mean Amajiki, Haya, Oswald, Miyake, and Togata." Nejire told the greenette listing the names off on her free hand's fingers.

Midoriya didn't say anything about it so she assumed it would all be good and there wouldn't be any problems and continued bringing Midoriya along with her.

Nejire smiled as she waved to her friends, most of them were in their P.E. gear like herself but judging by the looks on their faces they hadn't expected her to bring Midoriya with her, Miyake was the only one that didn't look surprised but that was par for the course for him.

"Hey guys! Look who I got to come join us!" Nejire proclaimed using both hands to show off Midoriya next to her "Mido! He said he could spend a few minutes so I asked him to help us with our quirks." Nejire told them.

Oz grumbled something under his breath and leaned against Jiki making Jiki nearly jump out of his skin his face bright red, Mirio became much more reserved and shied away somewhat looking awkward as he snuck a glance or two at Midoriya, Yuya shoulders shagged a touch and she looked faintly disappointed.

Miyake however only nodded "Figured she'd catch you sooner or later, Midoriya-San." Miyake commented going over to hunch next to the greenette.

Midoriya conceded with a nod "I'm glad you've made some friends Masao-San, would you mind introducing them to me? Outside of a classroom context I mean." Midoriya requested.

Miyake nodded pointing to Jiki who looked faint as the attention was on him "That is Amajiki, he was my first friend, you've read about his quirk from his file. He believes in Shintoism and likes insect candy too." Miyake told Midoriya before moving on to Oz.

"That's Oswald, doesn't like his father, we became friends when he asked me to take him to his mom and aunt, the ones who run Skipper's." Miyake explained and Midoriya eyes widen and he smiled.

"Oh, I've heard about you! You're Madonna-San's son, she and Trinity-San talk about you whenever I stop by." Midoriya said with a snap of his fingers.

"You know my mom?" Oz questioned standing up right again much to Jiki's relief.

"He's the one who owns the building and is technically their boss." Miyake answered for Midoriya who got flustered but Nejire quickly squirrel that information away for the future.

"Masao-San you don't have to tell them that." he told Miyake who shrugged in response.

"They're going to find out one way or another." Miyake replied with a shrug before pointing to Yuya-Chan "She's Haya, Amajiki-San and I helped her during the exam and we became friends shortly after the first day, she doesn't eat bugs or Oswald-San's leftovers." Miyake told the boy.

Yuya rubbed her forehead with a pair of fingers and sighed "Why is the most notable thing about me the fact I'm not a cannibal or recreational insectivore… " she muttered to herself.

Miyake proceeded to seemingly ignore Yuya's comment and pointed back to her "Hado was the one that brought you, she eats the most of Oswald-San besides Amajiki-San and she likes insects too. She'll jump you with questions about anything she finds interesting." Miyake said.

And though Nejire wished she had been introduced by her first name she was far more glad Miyake hadn't said anything about her being a handful because of her excessive levels of energy.

Most people did and called her annoying because of it, and she could but none of her friends did, even if it was kind of a running joke that Miyake would have to pick her up like a puppy to keep her from jumping their other friends, it never felt like it was a mean thing from Miyake.

He was just helping her not overwhelm Jiki most of the time and she didn't want that but genuinely couldn't stop herself sometimes.

"And this is Togata, he and Amajiki-San have been friends since childhood and he's been very supportive of us eating what we want." Miyake explained motioning his hand over to Mirio who tried to wave looking mostly unaffected.

"Nice to meet ya Midoriya." Mirio said and Midoriya smiled offering his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too Togata-San, Masao-San has told me a bit about you and Amajiki-San, though it was mainly from Kaori-Chan, she adores you and Amajiki-San." Midoriya mentioned and Mirio brightened up upon hearing about the girl.

"Oh I don't doubt that, Kaori-Chan is Sunny's number one fan after all." Mirio joked rubbing the back of his head while Jiki gave a tiny squeak at the mention of Miyake's sister, Nejire brought her hands up to cover her mouth to keep from giggling.

"Ah... Sorry about that, Kaori-Chan's reaction to you is probably my fault." Midoriya confessed scratching at his cheek with a finger.

"She's not wrong, Amajiki-San is a lot like you used to be Midoriya-San." Miyake-Chan commented.

Yuya raised an eye at that "Really? I don't... see it." She asked trying not to be offensive about it, and Nejire was sure everyone knew she meant how confident Midoriya was compared to Jiki.

Miyake thrilled turning to her "Believe me, if you met Midoriya-San back then you'd see it. He stuttered and couldn't look most people in the eyes, it's why Amajiki-San caught my eye during the exam." Miyake answered.

"Huh." Yuya replied still not quite understanding but going along with it.

Oz cleared his throat getting everyone's attention "Now that we're through with the pleasantries can we get down to our training?" Oz questioned with a raised eye.

"Right of course, so um, how do you guys usually start?" Midoriya asked back looking between them all.

"Oh, Yuya-Chan and I spend most of our time working on our aim, Miyake-Chan and Jiki-Chan practice running around so Jiki-Chan can get used to being more lizard-like. Oz-Chan works on his stretching I think and Mirio-Chan works on holding his breath and his running." Nejire volunteered her arm raised and waving.

Midoriya blinked turning to Mirio "Aren't you going to train with your quirk Togata-San?" Midoriya inquired and Mirio avoided his gaze.

"Well I would but, um... I can't use my costume outside of classes." Mirio explained a touch nervously.

Midoriya stared back at Mirio looking confused "Mirio doesn't have any other clothes that would stick with him when he uses his quirk Midoriya-San." Miyake spoke up and Midoriya looked even more confused.

"Why? It's not that hard to fashion D.N.A. infused clothes or to make them even, why wouldn't he have any other than his costume?" Midoriya questioned between them all.

"Well I didn't have enough hair to make more than that." Mirio answered abashedly as he ran a hand through his much shorter hair, hardly reaching past his chin compared to last year when it went a touch past his shoulders.

Midoriya's mouth opened and closed as he stared at Mirio baffled "Togata-San, you know there are people with hair quirks that could… grow your hair out for more cloth, right?" Midoriya pointed out.

Mirio's eyes widened his mouth falling open a touch and Nejire wasn't that much better because she couldn't believe no one had thought about that before, Mirio could've had P.E. clothes and a uniform that wouldn't come off of him every time he used his quirk!

"It's alright if you didn't think about that Togata-San, I know someone who has a quirk just for this kind of thing and I can give you her number so you can get started on making more outfits for you... at least we figured out this problem now instead of later, tell me you at least have safety gear that doesn't fall off of you." Midoriya tried to assure Mirio.

Mirio sweat-dropped at that "Um, well about that... " Mirio said trailing off with a nervous chuckle.

"The Stripper can't have anything but cloth made from his hair." Oz finished for Mirio.

A vein was faintly visible as it pulsed on Midoriya's forehead "Ah, I see. I'll personally fix this over sight then, I have a few connections that can help with this." Midoriya replied cordially enough with a tight-lipped smile on his face.

"You don't have to do that Midoriya-San, helping me get my clothes is more than enough." Mirio tried to protest waving his hands in surrender.

"Nonsense Togata-San, you're one of my students and it would be beyond remiss of me to knowingly allow you to go without the tools to keep yourself as safe as physically possible." Midoriya countered already pulling out his phone.

Mirio opened his mouth to further protest but Miyake shook his head "You won't be able to change his mind Togata-San, Midoriya-San will be helping with your costume whether you like it or not." Miyake told Mirio softly placing a hand on Mirio's shoulder.

Well that wasn't how Nejire expected this to start but she'd certainly take it if that meant Mirio wouldn't have to ever deal with being naked in front of people again and he'd be getting a safer costume to boot!

"You're going to get a costume upgrade Mirio-Chan, score!" Nejire exclaimed with a fist pump "Oh, oh can you do mine next? And Jiki-Chan's? Cause he's always tripping over the skirt-thing his costume has. Oh! And Haya-Chan's too! Do Haya-Chan's too!" Nejire told the boy all but barreling over him in her excitement.

"Hado." Yuya lightly hissed at her in a whisper but Midoriya didn't seem bothered, if anything he looked relieved.

"Actually I did want to talk to you guys about your costumes, there were some notes I made on them and some concerns I had with their designs." Midoriya admitted with a slight smile.

"Ooh! What were they? C'mon, c'mon, tell me!" Nejire demanded all but bouncing again.

"Well for one, I saw you were able to push off into the air with your quirk during last year's sports festival and I think you should add a helmet to your costume to protect your head. By pushing yourself into the air you're putting yourself in a delicate situation where it'd be easy for some villains to throw you against the ground and cause a concussion." Midoriya explained with a casual wave of a hand.

"I also think you should think about getting some kind of braces for your legs and arms to help with your landings, oh and you need some padding as well, it will help absorb the blows from impacts and protect you from direct contact quirks that work through the thin layer of clothes your current costume has." Midoriya further suggested.

Nejire blinked and Midoriya became flustered "You don't have to do either of those but I think it will help in the long run-" Midoriya said but Nejire hugged causing him to squeak.

"Those are amazing ideas Mido! I can't wait to add them to my costume, I'll have to talk to Power-loader as soon as I can. Do you guys think he's still here or not? Maybe if I rush over with my quirk I can- Oof!" Nejire exclaimed as she pulled away and was turning towards the building when Oz wrapped her both of her legs up with his hair.

"Calm down Man-eater, you can tell the mecha-zorge tomorrow." Oz told her shaking his head before dragging her along with him to the building "I'm taking the Man-Eater to blow off some steam, don't keel yourselves while we're gone." Oz called over his shoulder.

Nejire pouted as she was dragged but Oz was probably right, she had too much energy coursing through her and she needed to be rid of it somehow, she could always ask Yuya what happened when they were gone so it was no major lost, and well she did come here for training after all should do a bit of it if for no other reason than so her skin would stop crawling.
