"What the heck-" Rocket blurted out spilling coffee on the couch. "Oopsie sorry Rocket, I forgot to tell you, when I pop in." heheard a familar Liverpoolian accented voice saying. Standing there, was a male-tenuki in a leather jacket with jeans, a pendant aroubd his furry neck and wearing rose-pink shades. Rocket-Winston Nirohita or Rocke to his close friends and family had the whimsical and unexplainable power to pop in grabbing napkins to help Rocket clean up.
"It's okay, how about coffee and pie as I got some from the diner." Rocket told him seeing him nodding following him into the kitchen even though it was late-night on Knowhere sitting down at the table as Rocketwas boiling the kettle and cutting up slices of pie puttingthem on plates humming to himself which Rocke heard smiling
"Piper's with Dazzler right now, huh." Rocket said to him. He knew that with Piper being Dazzler's manager helping her with her music career like the Guardians of the World and their kits atXavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Rocke was probably lonely but didn't feel l8ke admitting it so didn't mind him being around seeing him sip coffee and enjoying the chocolate pie which normal members of their species couldn't eat but they could and enjoying it. "Yes she went to her concert and toom Juniper and John with her." Rocke said softly.
Rocket then heard him yawning sensing he was tired, leading him to the couch wrapping a blanket around him kissing his head seeing him out like a light heading to his room, getting into bed texting Piper to let her know that Rocke was safe and not to worry before he fell asleep.
The next morning, Rocke's eyes fluttered open smelling pancakes getting off the couch enteringthe kitchen sitting at the table seeing Rocket in an apron making him smile seeing coffee. "Mmmmmm they smell good, Rocket." he told him.
"Thanks buddy, and I messaged Piper, so she wouldn't worry if she came home and you weren't there but you were pretty sleepy." he said putting pancakes on playes and had put syrup along with Nutella along with other things seeing Rocke putting stuff on his including whipped cream makibg Rocket chuckle, at his antics grabbing napkins just in case.
Rocke's phone buzzed, as it was Piper talking about one of their famous barbecques and Rocke was smiling asking Rocket, if he wanted to cone, having a tremble in his tone which surprised Rocket knowing he was very sweet, kind and gentle so nodded which made Rocke's eyes light up with joy making Rocket chuckle at his reaction thinking it was happiness or all the coffee and syrup and Nutella he'd put on his pancakes too seeing him getting sleepy seeing him hug him.
"How about we get you back to Piper and yohr kits." he told him using his telepirter bracelet to teleport Rocke to his house seeing Juniper and John hug him, after he'd put Rocke on the couch hearing him explaining. "Are you coming to the Barbecque, Rockie." John asked him. "Yep, your dad was super happy about it." he told the male-kit making him and his twin-sister, Juniper grin.
He then telepirted back to his house on Knowhere seeing his dad and Ranger there, wondering what had happened seeing him shrugging his furry shoulders in reply hearing Ranger asking, if he could have some leftover pancakes seeing Rocket nodding. "Where did you go, buddy." Rocket Senior asked his kit.
"I was helping Rocke with something." he said to him.
"Ohhhh you guys are pretty good friends." Ranger told him seeing Rocket Senior nodding.
