Hello everyone! So, I was supposed to work on this chapter yesterday, but my aunt came over and then she asked me to go to the store with her. And earlier today, the wifi wasn't working. But now it is! So now I'm working on this! I hope you all like this one!

"Good job, Junior!" Bowser cheered. Ludwig peeked out into the hallway after hearing his father's voice.
"Dad?" Ludwig said. Bowser looked at him, smiling.
"Guess what Lud? Your little brother waved!" Bowser grinned.
"...Really? That's it?" Ludwig asked.
"Haha yeah! I'm so proud of him!" Bowser replied. He sniffed the air, and glanced at Junior.
"Woah! I guess it's time for someone to get changed. Wave bye-bye to Ludwig, kiddo." Bowser chuckled. Junior giggled and waved as Bowser walked away. Ludwig sighed and closed his bedroom door.
"It's been a year since he was born and nothing's changed." Ludwig walked over to his desk. He sat down and flipped through his sheet music until he found a blank page.
Ludwig decided to work on a new song to take his mind off of things. Unfortunately, he just couldn't stop thinking about his baby brother.
"The others were right. Dad does have a favorite." Ludwig whispered to himself. He shook his head and tried to write.
"This is silly! Why am I jealous of a toddler?" He exclaimed. He sat his pen down, stood up, and lied down on his bed. Ludwig closed his eyes and tried to take a nap.
Years have passed and most of the Koopalings are now adults. Some have moved out of the castle and live in their own, while others still live with Bowser, Clawdia, and Junior. Ludwig, now 21 years old, was in the ballroom playing a new song on his piano. He was enjoying his time alone, away from everyone, until a Koopa Troopa entered the ballroom.
"Uh Prince Ludwig? Lord Bowser is making an announcement in a few minutes. He wants everyone in the throne room." The Koopa Troopa said.
"Oh. Alright." Once the Koopa Troopa left, Ludwig put his sheet music away and made his way to the throne room where his parents and siblings were waiting.
"Great! Everyone's here! I have great news!" Bowser said.
"What is it, Daddy?" Wendy asked. Bowser looked at his children and smiled.
"Today, I am no longer the King of the Koopas! I'm stepping down!" Bowser replied, making his children gasp.
"W-What!? Are you serious?" Iggy asked.
"Yep!" Bowser replied.
"If you're no longer King, then...Will one of us take your place?" Morton asked.
"Yeah! And I'm gonna announce who will right now!" Bowser said.
"Wait. Is...Is it me? It's finally happening?!" Ludwig thought. His smile quickly fell once Bowser made his announcement.
"Junior will be Darkland's new king!"
"Really? Alright!" Junior cheered.
"Junior?!" Wendy exclaimed.
"But he's still a kid!" Roy added.
"Dad, please!" , Ludwig walked closer to Bowser. "There must be some mistake! I-I'm the oldest! I should be next in line for the throne! I should be king!" Ludwig cried.
"Lud, I made my decision! Junior is your new king." Bowser said.
"I will not take orders from a child!" Ludwig growled.
"Well too bad, Ludwig! I'm the king now! And you guys have to do whatever I say! Hahahaha!" Junior laughed.
"No...", Ludwig backed away. "No! This can't be happening!" Ludwig screamed. Bowser Jr laughed harder as Ludwig fell to his knees.
"No! I was always meant to be king! I'm the oldest! NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!"
Ludwig woke up with a gasp, breathing heavily. He looked around and slowly realized that he was in his bedroom. Ludwig tried his best to calm down, but he couldn't stop shaking from that nightmare.
"It was just a dream...It was all a dream." Ludwig said, trying to calm himself. After a few more minutes, Ludwig was able to breathe normally and his heart stopped racing.
"Ok. Everything's ok." He said to himself. Ludwig sat on his bed for a couple of seconds and got up. He made his way to the kitchen to get some tea.
Ludwig made his tea and sat at the table in the dining hall. He smiled as he took his first sip, almost forgetting about his dream. Then, Ludwig was reminded of it when he saw Clawdia enter the dining hall with Junior in her arms.
"Oh, I didn't know you were here too, Lulu." Clawdia said. Junior tried to reach for Ludwig, making Clawdia smile.
"Hey Lulu? Since he seems to want you to hold him, can you watch Junior for a second while I get his lunch ready?" She asked.
"S-Sure." Ludwig replied, forcing a smile. After handing Junior to Ludwig, Clawdia made her way to the kitchen.
Ludwig and Bowser Jr stared at each other for a moment. Junior tried grabbing Ludwig's hair, but Ludwig moved his hand away.
"I don't care how cute you are or if our father favors you. You'll never be king!" Ludwig whispered to him. Junior laughed as a response to that.
