*Me, Sonic, Sally, Danny (now 15 years old (look up "Prince Daniel (Age 15)" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt")), Maria (6 yrs old) wearing magenta sweater like dress with a yellow star on the chest, pink boots & holding a brown teddy bear (look up "Abigail and Shadow's Children" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt"), Sonic & Sally's 4 yr old twins, Manik (look up "Manik Acorn" on "Sonic Zone Wiki"), & Sonia (look up "Sonia Acorn" on "Sonic Zone Wiki"), were watching TV. Our friend, Sasha (look up "Sasha Cat (Light Mobius)" on "Sonic Zone Wiki"), who was all grown up & a reporter was reporting on a celebration that waa happening tomorrow*
Sasha: We end tonight's segment with a look back at with at historians are already calling the "Five Years of Peace." This generation will have no trouble remembering the seemingly endless series of battles running from the Great War, the two Robotnik Wars, and the many smaller conflicts in-between. *a picture of Shadow, holding a flag that had is mark. seeing that made me nervous* Our war-torn world was then both rescued and conquered in one brutal year by Shadow the Hedgehog. With King Shadow came a form of peace, but at the price of his brutal regime.*then a picture appeared of Shadow & Sally's wedding day, in which neither of them were smiling* A measure of relief came when King Shadow married the much-beloved Queen Sally. With their union came some ease in the strict rule and harsh punishment brought by the King. The world capital was moved to the merchant city of Portal on Angel Island. There the King and Queen ruled from Castle Mobius.*a picture appeared of Sally giving a basket of food to some poor people* And so Mobius limbed along. The oppressed clung to the ray of light that was out beloved Queen.*then a secret video of Shadow giving orders to a Dark Presence agent* While we shivered in fear of the Dark King and his brutally efficient enforcers, the Dark Presence.*a picture appeared of Knuckles dancing with his daughter, Lara-Su, at her unveiling* Then five years ago, a coup d'etat would change everything. Guardian Knuckles, head of the E.S.T. and the Chaotix, and newly-appointed Guardian Lara-Su led an invasion of Castle Mobius.*then an image appeared of Sonic & Sally on a balcony* They were helped by long-lost world hero Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic "Ahem!"*she whipped away a tear* Excuse me . . . Sonic, who had vanished after the second Robotnik War, was long though dead in the final conflict with Dr. Robotnik. *then a picture appeared of Sonic & Sally's wedding day, both of them smiling at the camera. I was Sally's maid of honor* True to his legendary speed, King Sonic was quickly crowned as the new King of Mobius and wed his childhood sweetheart. The support for the regime change was universal!*then a picture appeared of Sonic & Sally holding the twins on the day they were born* It has been five years since we've crowned our new King. Tomorrow, all of Mobius will celebrate the anniversary of his coronation and these fast five years of peace.
*Manik got really close to the TV*
Manik: That's me! That's me! I'm on the TV!
Sonia: Manik, sit down!
Manik: They're showing you too, Sonia!
Sonia: Then let me see!
Abigail:*off-screen* During these five years, me, Danny, and Maria were living happily. We were still living in the castle, even though I wanted to move out and live on our own. But Sally insisted, since I had been through a lot with Shadow. Knuckles and Lara-Su have been training my kids with their Chaos powers, which they've both gotten really good at. Thankfully, they only used their powers to help others. It took a while for the people to adjust to the fact that I was actually Danny's Mom and that Maria was Shadow's second child, but they all got over it. They both got along with the twins, like real siblings. Also, I had passed on my pendant to Danny when he turned 13 two years ago. He doesn't wear it around his neck, but does keep it with him at all times.
*Sonic chuckled*
King Sonic: Prince of the entire world and he gets excited about being on TV.
Abigail: As if you're any different.
King Sonic: Okay, so you got me there.
*Sally rubbed his shoulders*
Queen Sally: My, you're tense.
King Sonic: Mmph.
Queen Sally: Are you still worked up about tomorrow?
King Sonic: World saving I can do, no sweat. Public speaking gets my stomach in loops and corkscrews.
*Then there was a knock at the doors. Sally went answer it*
Queen Sally: Then it's a good thing we're all taking the night off to relax.
*Her, Sonic, & me were all going out for the night. Sonic & Sally were going on a date & I was meeting Lacey for a girl's night out*
Sonia: No! Stay!
Manik: But Moooooom!
Maria: Mommy, don't go!
*Sally open the door, revealing Lara-Su on the other side*
Queen Sally: Did you hear that? I guess I guess they don't want you babysitting after all.
Lara-Su: Gosh, really? Then I guess I better go . . .
*Maria & the twins suddenly got excited & pulled her inside. I giggled. Works every time*
Sonia: Lara-Su!
Maria: Yay!
*Sonia & Maria singing*

Manik: Nevermind! Night, Mom! Night, Dad! Night, Aunt Abby!
*Sonic started to look like he was holding back tears*
Abigail: What's with you? They don't mean it?
King Sonic: It's not that. Just . . . Old memories popping up.
*He helped Sally put her coat on*
Queen Sally: We'll be dining at Rory's and then going to the show.
Abigail And I'll be going the movies and then out to dinner with Lacey.
Queen Sally: Any of the castle staff will have the numbers if you need us.
Lara-Su: Don't worry, Your Majesty. I'm a Guardian. I think Danny and I can handle Maria and the Royal Twins for one night.
(Daniel's POV)
Daniel:*in her mind* She's going to regret saying that.
*And I was right. Because a few hours later, Lara & I were chasing Maria & the twins around the room, as they zoomed around the room, knocking over furniture & breaking vases*
Lara-Su: We said bedtime!
Manik: Tag, you're it!
Sonia: You hafta catch us first like Dad does!
Manik: And again! And again! And again!
Daniel: Get back here!
Maria: You can't get us!
*Then we'd both had enough*
Daniel & Lara-Su: Chaos Control!
*I caught my sister in a Chaos Bubble & Lara caught the twins*
Manik: Awwww . . .
Sonia: So unfair . . .
*Maria just pouted. Then Lara levitated the twins to their shared room. I held on to Maria*
Manik: I want a story!
Lara-Su: I've read every book you have.
Manik: Make one up!
Lara-Su: Once upon a time the Royal Twins and their little friend ran the Guardian and their big brother ragged and fell asleep, the end!
*Manik pouted as she dropped him & his sister, who was laughing, on their beds*
Manik: That's the same one you made up last time!
*I put Maria on my lap as I sat down on Sonia's bed*
Daniel: How about I tell you guys the story of how your Mom and Dad formed the Freedom Fighters?
Sonia: Ooh, I love that one!
Manik: Tell us! Tell us!
Maria: Tell us, big brother! Please?
*Lara-Su started to leave the room*
Lara-Su: I've got to make a call. You three settle down and listen to the story. I'll tuck you in soon. And no pillow fights.
Sonia, Manik, & Maria: Yes, ma'am.
Daniel: Okay, it all started when your parents were just five years old . . .
(Third-Person POV)
*Lara-Su went over to a TV phone on the wall & typed in a number*
Lara-Su: H'lo? Mom? Dad? Can you read me?
Knuckles:*off-screen* There's a bit of a delay, but we see you.
*Then he & Julie-Su appeared on the screen*
Lara-Su: Hey! I won't keep you. I just wanted to see how the peace talks are going.
Julie-Su: Could be better honestly.
Knuckles: Things may have been bad under King Shadow, but he knew how to keep the warmongers in line. But if Vector and Mac can get the Mazuri separatists to rethink things, we can talk to Bill.
Julie-Su: How are the twins?
Lara-Su: Adorable. Fast as ever.
Fwap!
Daniel:*off-screen* Ow!
Lara-Su: And asleep if they know what's good for them!
Manik:*off-screen* Sonia started it!
Julie-Su: Thank Aurora you were an only child. I don't know how Queen Sally can handle twins.
Knuckles: King Sonic's twins, no less.
Lara-Su: Yeah. They're a handful, but they're fun. And Danny's been a big help with looking after them.
Knuckles: How are he and Maria doing?
Lara-Su: Fine. They're practicing really hard to control their Chaos powers. And they haven't shown the slightest interest in world domination.
Julie-Su: Probably because they have a wonderful Mother raising them. Abby must be very proud of them.
Lara-Su: Yeah. I probably should go.
Julie-Su: Alright, Sweetie. If you see the Powers tomorrow, say "Hi" for us.
Lara-Su: Sure thing. By, Mom. Bye, Dad. Love you. *she went into the twin's room* I thought I told you three to settle -
*Suddenly, she got a pillow in the face. Then the twins zoomed past her with Maria*
Manik: Jail break! Jail break!
Sonia: If they get you, they'll put you in the Roboticizor beds!
Maria: Run away!
*Danny came out of the room, holding two pillows*
Daniel: Oh yeah!
*He handed Lara a pillow & they flew at the twins & Maria*
Daniel & Lara-Su: Double flying pillow-pummel attack!
Sonia & Maria: Eek!
Manik: No! My one weakness!
(Third-Person POV)
*Meanwhile, a Dark Presence agent was watching them from the roof of nearby building*
Dark Eye Agent: I have visual contact. The Guardian, the Crown Prince, and Princess are playing with the Royal Twins. No guards on the levels above and below. Should Team C move in?
*In a hidden location, Lien-Da, leader of the Dark Presence, was listening to his update on her built in communication device in her robot dred*
Lien-Da: No. Pack up and pull out.
Dark Eye Agent:*off-screen* Yes ma'am.
Dark Hands Agent #1: Ma'am! We're not engaging the enemy?
Lien-Da: I won't risk the children if I can help it. They're innocent in all this. Especially the Crown Prince and Princess. We strive to only strike down the guilty. My niece is certainly guilty of much. Her time will come. *the agent packed a rocket launcher into a briefcase* Knuckles and Julie-Su will pay when they return home. And the treacherous Queen and her idiot husband will most certainly pay. Along with King Shadow's backstabbing mistress.
*He handed the case to her*
Dark Hands Agent: Understood. Your case, Ma'am.
Lien-Da: They'll suffer for their anarchy, for dethroning King Shadow . . . And for keeping me away from what's mine.
*In her hand, along with her case, was a picture of her and her son, Rutan*
(Abigail's POV)
*The next day, me, Danny, & Maria were all dressed up (look up "Abigail, Danny, and Maria - Formal Clothes" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt") for the ceremony today. Sally had insisted that we join them, despite not being royalty. We were all getting ready to go out on to the balcony of Castle Mobius (look up "Castle Mobius" on "Mobius Encyclopaedia")*
Queen Sally:*to Sonic* Ready?
*He took a deep breath*
King Sonic: Ready.
*I turned to my son & daughter*
Abigail: You guys ready for this?
Shadow: We're ready, Mom.
Maria: Ready, Mommy.
*We all went out on the balcony, waving to the audience below. I especially waved to Tails, his wife Mina (look up "Mina Prower" on "Sonic Zone Wiki"), and their children Skye (look up "Skye Prower" on "Sonic Zone Wiki") & Melody (look up "Melody Prower" on "Sonic Zone Wiki")*
King Sonic: Um . . . Well . . . Thank you all for coming today. Thank you for accepting me as King. For welcoming our great kids into the world with us. For accepting King Shadow's children. And heck, for just being so accepting of us. The past five years have been great family everyone. That's in part thanks to the change in management, but it's really thanks to all of you. You've wanted peace, and you've made it happen by working together. You all have shown you know what it took me . . . What feels like two lifetimes to figure out. That you need to cherish the people you work and live with. They're what makes Mobius so awesome. And they're what make each of us special. Sure, we've all still got our differences. But we're solving them the way we always should have. Peacefully. I'm not really the speech giving type, so I'll sum it up quick so we can party! *the crowd cheered* We'll maintain the peace we have today with love, trust, and respect. *he & Sally picked up their kids, I picked up Maria, & Danny stood close to me* And we'll maintain those with understanding, patience, and honesty. *suddenly, a rocket came flying towards us* What is - RUN!
*Danny got in front of us*
Daniel: Chaos . . . Control?
*Just before the rocket hit us, a turquoise bubble surrounded it. Then it exploded*
Manik: Who's that, Daddy?
*We all looked up & saw a floating silver male hedgehog with peach skin & yellow eyes wearing white gloves with gold cuffs & circular aqua symbols & white, navy, aqua, & gold boots*
Silver: My name is Silver the Hedgehog. I've come back to your present to save my future.
