(Abigail's POV)

*Another week has gone by since we defeated the Iron Dominion. New Mobotropolis was almost fully back on it's feet. One of the biggest surprises we got was seeing Dimitri, the former GrandMaster of the Dark Egg Legion. Turns out he had been betrayed by his Granddaughter, Lien-Da, & left for dead in a box. When Sally heard his story & saw that he had regrets for his past actions, she decided to show him mercy. (I was in agreement with her. Nobody deserves to be betrayed by family, not even a villain.) What remained of his body was installed into the Science Center, his presence being kept secret while he recovered. He was currently preparing himself to apologize to Knuckles. "Today, me, Huck, Sonic, & Sally were flying in the Tornado, on our way to the Wolf Pack Nation in the Southern Continent. Sonic & Sally had been invited so they could become honorary members of the Wolf Pack. As for me, I was invited because, apparently, the leader of the Wolf Pack has been dying to meet the newest member of the Knotehole Freedom Fighters. When we got there, we were greeted by a white & blue male wolf with blue eyes wearing a purple vest, gold wrist bands, & sandals & a pink female wolf with brown hair & blue eyes wearing a green leotard, gold bands, a gold belt, & sandals. Sally gave the male wolf a hug*

Sally: It's good to see you, Canus!

Canus: Happy to see you are well, Princess!

*Sonic shook the female wolf's hand*

Sonic: Long time, no see, L - L - L - L - Lyco!

Leeta: Leeta.

Sonic: Like I said - Long time, no see.

Leeta: She's my identical twin. We get that a lot. *she turned to me & Huck* And is this the new member we've heard about?

Sally: Yes. I'd like to introduce Abigail Catz.

*I shook hands with Leeta*

Abigail: You can call me Abby for short. *I motioned to Huck, who was on my shoulder* And this my pet Chao, Huckleberry. Or Huck for short.

Leeta: Aw! He's adorable!

*She started petting Huck, who blushed & giggled. Canus then escorted us into the city*

Canus: Please, come this way. The Chief is eager to see you and meet your new friend.

Sonic: Ditto! It's been just as long since we last saw - *when we arrived at the biggest house in the village, we were greeted by a brown & gray male wolf with blue eyes wearing a blue and yellow shirt, gold wrist bands, & blue and yellow pants* Lobo?

Sally: We're glad to see you too, of course, but . . .

Lobo: But you're confused. It's all right. Y'see before I was roboticized, I was this Pack's Chief. I took back the title after my wife stepped down.

Sonic: "Stepped down"? . . . Since when did Lupe "step down" from anything?

Sally: Why would she do that?

*Just then, a grayish purple, white, & dark blue female wolf with dark blue with white streaks, blue eyes, & a scar under her left eye wearing a feathered ceremonial headdress, a red cape, ceremonial jewelry, a blue bodysuit, gold wrist bands, a feathered skirt, blue leg straps, & blue sandels stepped out*

Lupe: Because my people asked me to step up as the Grand Chief of our nation.

*Sally went up to her & hugged her*

Sally: That's wonderful! Congratulations!

*Sonic did a high-five with her*

Sonic: Nice Lupe! But since when were you guys a nation?

Lupe: Hold that thought, Sonic. *she turned to me & Huck* You must be Miss Abigail Catz. *she shook my hand* Sally has told me a lot about you.

Abigail: Same here, uh . . . Grand Chief.

*Lupe chuckled*

Lupe: Please, just call me Lupe. Any friend of Sonic and Sally is a friend of mine.

Abigail: Ok, cool.

Lupe: Anyway, After Dr. Robotnik's conquest, the Packs were scattered and broken, and our city was destroyed. I helped bring us all back together here - in our ancestral homeland.

Lobo: You make it sound simple.

Sally: Well, this is Lupe we're talking about. Forming and organizing a whole Nation must be exhausting.

Lupe: It is, but . . .

RRRARRGHH!

*We all turned around & saw a gray female wolf with dark gray hair & blue eyes wearing a blue leotard, gold bands, a gold belt, & sandals, a Overlander girl with peach skin, blonde hair, & blue eyes wearing green overalls over a white shirt, gold & blue wristbands, & white shoes, another Overlander girl with peach skin, red hair, & purple eyes wearing purple overalls over a white shirt, gold & blue wristbands, & white shoes, chasing a brown & gray male wolf with brown hair & blue eyes wearing a blue shirt, gold & blue wristbands, gold belt, & blue boots, who was holding a green ball*

Maria: Give it back, Marcos!

Marcos: No way!

Maria: We were playing with that?

Marcos: You mean you were, Maria! Then Athena said I could have it!

Aerial: Athena's mute and you know it, you jerk!

Marcos: That's 'cause you do more than enough talking for her, Aerial!

*All three girls dog piled him*

Lupe: . . . My children are the hardest group to govern.

*I handed Huck to Sally*

Sally: Abby?

*I ignored her as I marched over to the kids, put two fingers to my lips & blew really hard. The kids stopped wrestling & looked at me. I then looked at Marcos*

Abigail: You're Marcos, right?

Marcos: Yeah.

Abigail: Your sisters were using it first, so give the ball back.

Marcos: But . . .

*I gave him a stern look*

Abigail: Now.

*Marcos silently handed the ball to Athena. I then turned to the girls, who went stiff*

Abigail: And you girls promise to let Marcos have the ball when your done, right?

Maria & Aerial: Yes, ma'am.

*Athena nodded*

Abigail: Good.

*Lupe & Lobo looked at me like a worked magic*

Lobo: Wow. She's good.

Sonic: Well, she is New Mobotropolis & Knotehole's most requested babysitter.

*Later, we were all sitting down in a circle, eating fruit*

Lupe: I'm sorry that only three of you could come. All of the Freedom Fighters were invited.

Sally: It was a matter of bad timing, I'm afraid.

Sonic: Tails had already headed out with Bunnie and Antoine when we got your invitation.

*Tails was taking Bunnie & Antoine to a place called Cocoa Island for their honeymoon*

Sally: Rotor is busy with repairs on the Sky Patrol, and Amy elected to stay behind and watch the city while we were gone.

Lupe: Perhaps it is for the best. Your induction will be informal since no one can find the ceremonial "Ancient Onyx" right now.

Lobo: No doubt it was stolen by the greedy savage Felidae.

*Lupe looked at her husband, very serious*

Abigail: Who are the Felidae?

Lupe: Brutal cat tribes to the south who lay claim to the entire continent. Oral tradition tells of their violence against our ancestors generations ago. They rarely bother us these days, however.

*Suddenly, Marcos & Aerial ran into the room, looking scared*

Marcos: Mom! Mom! Felidae warrior!

Aerial: He's marching right into the city!

*Me, Huck, Sonic, & Lupe went to a nearby window*

Lupe: Who would dare invade us alone!

*My eyes went wide went I saw Big walking into the village, with a fishing pole over one shoulder & Froggy on his head. I haven't seen him since the Freedom Fighters saved my parents from Mordred*

Big: Hullo? Anyone?

Sonic: Hey! It's Big!

Lupe: Big? It's enormous!

Abigail:*giggle* No, Big is his name.

*A couple of wolf's, holding spears, surrounded Big & Froggy*

Wolf Warrior: Stay back!

Wolf Warrior 2: Don't move!

Big: Okay.

*Sonic zoomed in front of Big*

Sonic: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! I can vouch for this guy! *he turned to Big* Remember me, big guy?

Big: Yup! You helped me save Froggy and we helped a girl save her family.

Froggy: Ribbit!

Sonic: So . . . Go ahead and tell these nice folks why you're visiting.

Big: To get that special black jewel thing.

*The wolfs pointed their spears at them & Sonic & Big put their hands up. Froggy hid*

Sonic: Maybe clarify that a bit?

Big: The Felidae are mad 'cause it's missing, so I came to see if the wolves have it. Sorry.

Sonic: That's okay. Let's not make a habit of this though.

Lupe: So the Felidae claim to not have the relic either . . .

*Sally & I were starting to get curious*

Sonic: No offense, Lupe, but what's the big deal about this rock?

Lupe: The Ancient Onyx is said to preserve my people during the Days of Fury. It is a symbol of our perseverance and it is ours to rightfully claim.

Sally: With your permission, Grand Chief, I'd like to look into this further.

Lupe: Of course you have my support, but why do you want to get involved?

Sonic: We need that rock to do that ceremony properly don't we? (In addition to all that other stuff you just said).

Sally: And we can act as a neutral part between the countries.

Lupe: Ever the heroes. Very well then.

Sally:*to Sonic* Sonic. I want you to take Big and talk to the Felidae. If Big can't vouch for you, I know you can handle yourself.

Sonic: Sounds good. What about you?

Sally: I want to follow up on something else first.

Abigail: Huck & I will go with Sally.

*While Sonic & Big went to the Felidae city, me, Huck, & Sally went into the jungle. We were now standing in front of a statue of an Echidna warrior standing on top of what looked like a cat*

Abigail:*in her mind* If I remember correctly from History class, these are the ruins of the failed Echidnaopolis Colony. According to Knuckles, this the place where his ancestors first tried to build their city before finding Angel Island. But they had to fight a local tribe and then the Chaos monster. *Huck & I followed Sally into the ruins* The Felidae and the Wolf Pack finally meet again after a hundred years and the an ancient sacred artifact suddenly disappears causing a conflict between both tribes. This can't be a coincidence. Everything happens for a reason. *we then looked into a window* If someone is trying to start a war between both tribes, this seems like the perfect place to - Whoa! *we both were surprised to see Dark Egg Legion members inside* Great! Just what we needed. The Dark Egg Legion. Why can't Baldy Mcnosehair stop butting into other people's lives? We have to get back and warn everyone! Hopefully, Sonic and Big will have . . .

*Suddenly, a shadow loomed over us. We turned around & found ourselves face to face with Drago, a former member of the Destructix*

Drago: Hey there, Princess. You and your friends out sightseeing?

Abigail & Sally: Drago!?

*Drago slashed his claws at us, but we dodged*

Drago: Get back here!

*We both ran away from him. Huck kept a tight grip on my shoulder*

Abigail:*in her mind* We don't have time for a fight! Really wish we had brought Sonic with us! We could really use his help right now!

Suddenly, we bumped into a Dark Legionar*

Sally: Who . . .!?

Drago: Get them, Razorklaw! *the one called Razorklaw slashed at us, but we dodged & he hit Drago instead* Not me, you idiot! *Drago tried to hit us, but we dodged again & he hit Razorklaw* Oops . . . I - I - I mean, move!

*They started wrestling with each other until their black cloaks were torn to shreds*

Abigail:*in her mind* Uh oh . . .

*Drago was now wearing a purple sleeveless uniform & had cybernetic arms. Razorklaw was a orange, black and white cat with yellow eyes & cybernetic arms wearing a red & white coat with gold buttons & black pants*

Drago: Yeah! Feast your eyes on the new and improved GrandMasters of the Dark Egg Legion!

Abigail:*in her mind* Great. Just when things can't get any worse.

*I turned around & saw more Dark Legionars coming towards us*

Drago: HA! Nowhere to run now, girls! What's it gonna be?

*Seeing no other option, Sally, Huck, & I put our hands up & I dropped my hook swords on the floor as the Dark Legionars surrounded us*

Abigail:*in her mind* Sonic! Please hurry!
