(Abigail's POV)

*When this whole adventure started, me, Huck, Sonic, & Sally were just hoping to meet with some friends. But life never goes the way you expect it. Somehow, we got roped in a feud between the Wolf Pack Nation & the Felidae Tribe. Both sides fighting over a sacred stone called the Black Onyx. While Sonic went with our friend Big to negotiate with the Felidae, me, Huck & Sally went to investigate something in the jungle. The last thing we expected to find was a chapter of the Dark Egg Legion setting up shop here. The next thing we knew, we had been captured by Drago & his new partner, Razorklaw, the new GrandMasters of the Dark Egg Legion. Sally & I were now tied to a pillar with the Ancient Onyx on top & Huck was inside a glass ball*

Drago: Well, well, well, the oh, so, high and mighty Princess Sally at my mercy, and with no precious Freedom Fighters to rescue her. *he lifted my chin up with one of his metal fingers* And we've got this cute little kitten and her pet as a bonus.

*I glared at him & pulled my face away*

Abigail: I'm nobody's kitten, flea bag!

Drago: Ooh, feisty! I like that. *he turned back to Sally* So Princess, how's it feel to be outsmarted by Doc Eggman's best and brightest GrandMaster?

Sally: Oh. Please. You couldn't find your own tail without . . . *she went silent for a minute* . . . Oh, never mind. What's the point in taunting such a brilliant tactician?

Drago:*laughing* That's what I'm talking about!

*Huck & I looked at her like she was nuts. But then she turned to us & winked. We realized that she had a plan*

Sally: But, gee. I thought the Dark Egg Legion was just echidnas.

Drago: Think again, toots. Doc Eggman's been "Legionizing" folks for a while now. He just started making everyone go by that name when he got the dread heads. I guess it makes him happy or whatever.

Sally: Oh, poo! I sure wish I knew what "Legionizing" meant.

*Huck & I silently giggled as Drago tapped her head*

Drago: What are you, dense? Since he can't roboticize folks anymore, he gives them cybernetics instead. That's what the old Dark Egg Legion used to do, so he calls it "Legionizing"! Seriously, keep up! Can you believe she's supposed to be the brains of their group?

Sally: Since you know so much, can you tell us who your friend is and how you got your shiny arms?

*Razorklaw face-palmed*

Drago: Lady, as you should know by now, I know everything. Razorklaw here used to be a big shot Felidae warrior. Then he got in a fight with some guy named Locke and got his butt whupped. He was disgraced and exiled and all that jazz, so he hooked up with others who got jerked around from the system. When the Doc came to town, they were ready to join him. Me? I got tired of carrying all the weight in the Destructix, so I went back to the Doc for a quick promotion. We've had our rough patches, but the Doc knows a good deal when he sees it.

Sally: Sure. How could he pass up someone who betrayed his pack, his heritage, his girlfriend and just about everyone else? You're as scummy as Robotnik.

Drago: Hey! I look out for me, and that's why I'm where I am today!

Abigail: As just another lackey.

Drago: I meant that in a good way.

Abigail: I know. Shows how smart you are.

Drago: Oh, I'm plenty smart. *he pointed to the Ancient Onyx* It was my idea to take this gem everyone's so ga-ga over and & pit the the two groups against each other! *Razorklaw cleared his throat* Oh, right . . . Razorklaw helped a little. But I'm the brains of this outfit. *he pointed at Sally* But now that you three are here, we need to decide what to do with you. Do we set you both up as the Masterminds of this whole scheme, or we bump you both off and bring New Mobotropolis in for a nice three way war? So which will it be? Scapegoat? Martyr? Disgrace? Oh, I just can't decide!

*He burst out laughing. Just then, Razorklaw loomed over Sally*

Razorklaw: Then I shall decide for you.

*Drago grabbed his wrist*

Drago: No, you idiot! You've got to toy with them and break their will first! You're terrible at this villain thing.

AWOOOOO!

*Sally & I smiled at that sound. Drago & Razorklaw ran towards a window*

Drago: No way! That sounded like - !

A - WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

*It was an amy of Wolf Pack & Felidae Warriors, attacking the Dark Egg Legion*

Razorklaw: While you delayed, they signaled them somehow!

Drago: No, it was him! *I knew exactly who he was talking about* Okay, new plan . . . We kill them like you said.

*He turned to us & looked shocked. I looked up & smiled. Big was standing over us with Froggy on his head*

Big: Yay! I found the Princess, Abby, her Chao, and the gem! I did good!

*Drago lunged at him*

Drago: Get away from there, you!

Sally: Big! Hit him!

Big: Okay. *he punched Drago in the face & sent him flying through a wall* Too hard?

*Razorklaw raised his claws, but Big grabbed them*

Razorklaw: Freak! I will have your hide!

Big: Um . . . No?

*Just then, Sonic hit Razorklaw with a spin dash*

Sonic: Back off, fuzzy! *he then turned to us* These guys are with me!

Sally: Sonic! There you are!

Abigail: Am I glad to see you!

Huck: Chao-Chao!

Big: Yay!

*He & Sonic then untied us & freed Huck*

Sonic: Next time you guys make a brilliant deduction, clue me in. It took me a while to put the pieces together.

Sally: But you did and you brought the Wolf Pack Nation and the Felidae together for a timely rescue.

Abigail: Nice job, Blue Boy.

Huck: Chao-Chao!

*Sonic & Sally then held hands looked ready for a kiss*

Sally: Thanks for saving the day again.

Note: Everytime I see this scene, it feels like they never broke up.

Sonic: We're not just yet . . . But you're welcome.

*Just then, Froggy jumped in between them*

Big: I helped!

Abigail: That you did, Big. Thank you very much.

Big: Yay.

*Behind us, Drago was coming around. A few of his men surrounded him*

Dark Egg Legionar: GrandMaster Drago!

Dark Egg Legionar #2: We're in trouble, GrandMaster! What do we do?

*Just then, all 3 of them started beeping*

Drago: ERGH! Strategic retreat. Fall back to the secret bunker!

Dark Egg Legionar #2: Good idea, sir!

Dark Egg Legionar #1: I'm glad he's in charge!

*Sally then picked up the Black Onyx & we went outside. The Wolf Pack & the Felidae were about to fight each other when we arrived (standing in the group with the Felidae warriors was a white female cat with blue eyes wearing a red, black, blue & yellow formal queen dress)*

Lobo: The Dark Egg Legion has been routed, but not defeated. Why do you make us let them go?

Lupe: We came with a small strike force, Lobo. We aren't prepared for war. We have broken their hold on this place and struck fear into their hearts, that is enough for today.

Queen Hathor: Likewise. But you are in the heart of our territory. Perhaps there is still a battle to be fought.

Sally: No. There's been more than enough violence today. This is what you're all here for anyway, isn't it?

Lupe & Queen Hathor: The Ancient Onyx!

Sally: This gem is more than your ancestral relic. It is a symbol of what's precisely what's happened today.

Sonic:*whispering to me, Huck, & Big* Watch this. She's good at this sort of thing.

Sally: With this artifact, two nations were nearly pitched into war. You would've been destroying each other while your real enemy waited in the shadows to attack when you both were weak. Your enemy saw the division between you and capitalized on it. They came together and became stronger than either of your Nations could hope to be alone. But here today, you chose to come together yourselves. By setting aside your differences, you became the mightier power and not only stopped the Legion, but the ambitions of the Eggman Empire. Here's what I propose. Let the gem continue to rest here, out of both of your hands. The Felidae will let it rest since this land is taboo, and the Wolf Pack Nation can retrieve it for either group with supervision. Let it be shared, and when not in use, held by no one at all.

*Lupe & Hathor looked at each other in silence for a few seconds*

Lupe: Too much has passed between our people in too short a time too reconcile it all with one gesture.

Queen Hathor: Agreed.

*She & Lupe shook hands*

Lupe: It is, at that.

Queen Hathor: But it is a start.

Sonic: And that's how it's done.

Big: Wow.

Abigail: I know. She's amazing.

Huck: Chao-Chao!

*That night, back at the Wolf Pack Nation city, Lupe adorned me, Big, Sally, & Sonic with feathers*

Lupe: As it was done, generations ago, we induct those who have shown themselves to be brave, selfless, and truly belonging among our people. Tonight we welcome Sonic, Sally, Abigail, and Big into the Wolf Pack Nation, equal brothers and sisters all. *the wolves cheered as the 5 of us each put a hand on the Black Onyx* With the blessing of the Black Onyx, we raise our voices to the stars, so that the brothers and sisters who have left this world know that there are four more among us!

AWOOOOOOOOO!

Sally:*whispering* Sonic, that looks like a Chaos Emerald. And given how important it's supposed to be . . .

Sonic:*whispering* Yeah, but there are only seven Chaos Emeralds. I know Chaos Emeralds. You can feel their power. I don't feel it here. I don't know what that thing is, but it's not a Chaos Emerald.

*I looked at the Black Onyx, a bit nervous*

Abigail:*in her mind* If it's not a Chaos Emerald, then what is it.
