(Abigail's POV)

*It's been a few days since we left Furville. We were now in Soumerca, hoping to meet with Lupe to warn her about Eggman & hopefully recruit her to help us (we were all wearing our feather accessories)*

Sonic: It's good to be back in the Wolfpack Nation. I just hate that we're bringing them bad news.

Amy: It'll be fine. With Lupe backing us up, we'll really be able to stop Eggman.

*We soon came to Lupe house & found Leeta, Lyco, Marcos, Maria, Aerial, & Athena all outside one of the windows. Leeta had Maria on her shoulders, Lyco had Aerial on her shoulders, & Marcos was trying to balance Athena on his head*

Abigail: Hey, kids. What's going on?

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao?

Leeta: Abby?

Maria:*whispering* Shhh! They'll hear you!

She jumped off Leeta's shoulders & ran to Amy in tears*

Amy:*whispering* Who will hear us? What's going on?

Maria:*whispering* It's Mama! She's missing, and Papa thinks the Felidae did it!

Tails:*whispering* That doesn't sound right. Why would they abduct Lupe during a time of peace?

Marcos:*whispering* Dad says you can't trust those nasty cats *his eyes went wide & then he looked at me* No offense, Abby. You're different.

Abigail: None taken.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Marcos: Anyway, Dad and the other Pack Chiefs are deciding on how best to go to war! We were trying to listen in!

Sonic: I'm with Tails on this one. And you two don't look like you buy it either.

Leeta: The Felidae are violent, but they're not hostile toward us now - nor subtle -. If they kidnapped Lupe, there wouldn't be any doubt.

Lyco: All we care about is Lupe. She gave us a pack when we had none. We're really worried about her and want her back safe and sound.

Amy: This is probably Eggman's fault!

Abigail: Who else could it be?

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Tails: We tracked him and his flying battle station here. We were going to warn Lupe of his new Death Egg, and that he . . Well . . . Roboticized - and weaponized - Princess Sally.

Lyco: Roboticization works again! And if he used the Princess . . .

Leeta: Lupe would not raise a hand against her. She'd be perfect agent to perform a kidnapping.

Tails: Well, let's tell the Pack Chiefs all this, and . . .

He was about to go into the house, but Lyco stopped him*

Lyco: They won't listen. Lobo is beside himself with worry, and I'm afraid many of the Pack Chiefs are eager for an excuse to attack the Felidae.

Sonic: But if we were to rescue Lupe and save the day before they finish their meeting, everything would be cool, right?

Lyco: In theory, yeah . . .

Sonic: Cool. You ladies wouldn't happen to know where Eggman's cronies are hanging out these days, would you?

Leeta: As a matter of fact . . . We do!

*Later, we were all walking dthrough the jungle on our way to the Legion's Base*

Amy: . . . And Dr. Quack says Antoine is stable, but we don't know if - I mean when - he'll recover.

Lyco: That's awful!

Amy: It's . . . Been hard on us. How about you? How have things been for the Packs?

Lyco: Boring. Our Pack used to tell us of all the good they did as Freedom Fighters. All we do these days is stand guard against enemies that might attack.

Leeta: We've actually been thinking about visiting New Mobotropolis. From what you've tole us, perhaps Lupe will let us try out for Rotor's "Team Freedom".

Abigail: We're always happy to have some help.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!

Sonic: You sure you won't miss your life of peace down here?

Leeta: Please! We crave adventure! We want to help make this world a better place.

*Suddenly, we heard gunshots & ducked down*

Tails: Looks like you might get your "adventure" sooner than later . . .

*Suddenly, Queen Hathor, without her robes & jewelry, came running out of the bushes, dodging lasers. Razorklaw & a few Legionars were right behind him*

Razorklaw: Eggman demands she be brought in alive! *just then, Hathor tripped over a fallen tree branch* But he did not specify "intact".

*Before her could grab her, T-Pup came flying out of the bushes, growling at Razorklaw*

Queen Hathor: Wh - What . . .?

Razorklaw: Th - That . . . Isn't one of ours. What is it?

*We then attacked, weapons ready*

Tails: He's a great distraction!

*Amy then hit Razorklaw on the head, knocking him out*

Sonic: Never quite as satisfying as busting a Swat-Bot, but they'll do.

*Lyco & Leeta then turned to Queen Hathor*

Lyco: Queen Hathor, we presume?

Leeta: Where is Grand Chief Lupe?

Queen Hathor: I - I am not the Queen! I am but a humble emissary. But the Queen and the Grand Chief are in terrible danger!

Lyco: Um . . . Guys? Isn't this the Queen?

Abigail: No. Their culture is based on the clothing. No robe or jewelry means she's not the Queen right now. *everyone looked at me surprised* History class.

Sonic: Yeah, threw me off at first too. I got this. *he kneeled down to the Queen, who was petting T-Pup* Hey there, "Emissary" Hathor. I'm "Ambassador" Sonic. You might remember me by my socks. Can you clue us in to what happened to the Queen and Lupe?

Queen Hathor: Yes! Hello, Ambassador! I certainly can!

*She then explained that she & Lupe had been captured by Eggman's robots (knew it); knowing that their respective tribes would blame each other for their disappearances, Lupe nobly decided to help her escape through the air vent to get help, while she remained behind to face possible Roboticization. She, however, was forced to leave her robes behind to do so*

?:*off-screen* An interesting story . . .

*We turned & saw a group of Felidae warriors, pointing their spears at us*

Leopard Warrior: . . . Coming from one who meets with Wolves and Outlanders.

*The Queen went up to the Warriors, putting a finger on the tip of the Leopard's spear*

Queen Hathor: Wolves who are our allies - for now. Outlanders who would would drive back the Legion and have served our Queen in the past.

Sonic: This could get ugly, guys. Be ready to do it to it.

Queen Hathor: I do not have the Queen's authority, but I bear her will. Wolf and Felidae must unite against Dr. Eggman and his Legion. I will see to the Outlanders free the Matriarchs and return them to their domains. What say you.

*The Leopard Warrior looked us warriors for a few seconds*

Leopard Warrior: We follow the command of the Queen. But it will be up to the Wolves to listen

Queen Hathor: If only the Queen were truly here.

*I put a hand on her shoulder*

Abigail: She's here in spirit.

Huckleberry: Chao-Chao.

Amy: Now come on, we didn't have a lot of time before, and now we have even less.

*Sonic went up to Razorklaw, who still had his face in the dirt*

Sonic: If I were you, buddy, I'd stay down until all this blew over.

Razorklaw: I will gut you like a fish . . .

Sonic: You charmer! We should hang out more. Let's move it, gang! The day's not going to save itself!

*We all ran towards the Dark Legion's base*
