Redemption 2/2
Note: I've decided to write my own original chapter for this instead of waiting for the next issue of Archie Sonic Online.

(Abigail's POV)
*We all watched horror as the monster, who was now know is Naugus, held Hershey in his claw*
Abigail: No way! Is that Naugus!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
Sonic: And just when I thought he couldn't get any uglier.
Ixis Naugus: People of New Mobotropolis and Knotehole! You will all surrender to me! Your true King! Or face the same fate at this woman!
*He held Hershey up higher*
Sonic: Oh yeah! That's what you think!
*He tried to hit Naugus with a spin dash, but it was blocked by a force field*
Ixis Naugus: Fools! You can't stop me!
*He sent a blast of magic at us. I closed my eyes, but didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes & saw Silver standing in front of us, creating a force field*
Abigail: Silver!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
*Silver dropped the shield*
Silver: Come on! We need to retreat for now! *he led us down the street & to a tree stump. he opened the top of the stump* Quick down here!
*We all went down the stump & then Silver followed us*
*Silver led us to the HQ of the Secret Freedom Fighters. We were surprised to find Elias (wearing a black bodysuit with red stripes & goggles, black gloves & boots), Leeta (wearing a black leotard, with green stripes & goggles, black gloves, & boots), Lyco (wearing the same uniform, but with blue stripes & goggles, black gloves & boots), a black, yellow, & silver male robot with eyes & a green gem on his chest, & an old brown male owl with brown eyes, yellow beak, wearing a red smoking jacket, & holding a brown cane. Soon, a brown & black male lynx with blue eyes & wearing a black bodysuit with yellow stripes & goggles, & claw-gauntlet gloves came into the room. Team Freedom was behind him*
Sonic: What the -
Sally: Elias!? Harvey Who!?
Amy: Lyco! Leeta!
Tails: Larry!
Silver: Um . . . Guys. Meet the Secret Freedom Fighters.
Rotor: Secret . . . Freedom Fighters . . .?
Harvey Who: Elias and I created this team to focused on taking back the Republic of Acorn from Ixis Naugus without taking actions that would directly oppose the will of its people and their secondary mission was to prevent the events that lead to Silver's future.
Sonic: Of course . . . *he glared at Silver* In the end, it all comes back to you and your precious future.
Silver: This isn't about me anymore! I've found the traitor, which means my mission is complete!
Sonic: Oh, and I suppose this whole Secret Freedom Fighter thing is the reason you finally got the facts straight!
Silver: They're the reason I was able to help you save Sally in the first place!
Tails: What I find worse about this is that you guys brought back the original Mecha Sonic!
Shard: I SAVED YOU FROM THAT VOLCANO! THAT ONE TIME!
Tails: You trapped me in there in the first place!
Amy: You kidnapped me!
Shard: I KNOW! I KNOW! BUT THAT WAS THE OLD ME! I'VE CHANGED, I SWEAR!
Tails: I'll believe that when I see it!
Sally: Elias, I can't believe you would do this behind Father's back!
Elias: Naugus was slowly taking over the city and turning our people against each other! The Council wasn't going to do anything about it! I had no choice!
*Before I knew it, everyone was arguing (except Cream, Cheese, Lacey, & the Plus Ultra Squad). Listening to all of it was really getting on my nerves. I was getting so annoyed, I didn't notice my pendant turning red. Then I took a deep breath & let out a sonic scream*
Abigail: THAT IS ENOUGH!? *everyone covered their ears at my loud voice & the HQ seemed to shake. everyone then looked at me* This arguing is getting us nowhere!
*Nicole appeared on a screen behind me*
Nicole: Abby's right. If we want to defeat Naugus, we have to work together. So, we need to put aside our differences.
*Everyone still looked skeptical, but seemed to agree*
Sally: She's right. We have to band together and come up with a plan.
Harvey Who: Way ahead of you Princess. In fact, I've already called some people who were more than whiling to help.
*Suddenly, a Warp Ring appeared & a familiar group of people stepped out*
*Turns out, those people he called was the Chaotix (we who willing to drop everything to come & help us). We soon came up with a plan. We would sneak into the castle through the cellar & steal the Chaos Emerald from Naugus. We managed to get in with no problems, but once we reached the throne room, we all gasped in horror. Naugus had encased King Nigel, Queen Alicia, & the Council of Acorn in crystal prisons behind the throne. Hershey was in the biggest crystal prison, which was in the middle. None of them were moving & they all had scared looks on their faces, except Hershey, who had her eyes closed*
Sonic: Uncle Chuck!
Elias: Mother!
Sally: Daddy!
Tails: Mom!
Ixis Naugus:*off-screen* A lovely sight isn't it? *he flew down from the ceiling & landed in front of the throne**on-screen* And soon, you'll all be joining them. As part of my collection of those who have defied me!
Sally: Never! We will stop you before that happens!
Ixis Naugus: Oh, I wouldn't be so sure, Princess. Everything I need for my plan is right here! *he held up his staff & it started to glow* Ifalas zaras I e zaraq! Ifalas zaras I e zaraq! Chaos Emeralds! Come to your new Master!
(Third-Person POV)
*The spell summoned the six Chaos Emeralds that were scattered all over the World. It even brought the Emerald embedded in Mogul's chest*
(Abigail's POV)
*The six Chaos Emeralds all appeared in the throne room. Once they were all in a half circle above the throne, Naugus encased them on the tops of crystal pillars*
Ixis Naugus: At last! The Chaos Emeralds are mine! *he pointed at me* And once I have your pendant, girl! None shall ever stand in my way again!
Sonic: Only in your dreams, Noggy!
*He did a spin dash, but Naugus blocked it again with a force field. He then lifted his fingers, one by one, making us float a few inches off the ground. He clenched his hand into a fist & brought all of us close to him*
Ixis Naugus: I'll try to make this quick and painless. *he then moved his pointer finger, throwing us towards the wall* Well, maybe not completely painless.
(Third-Person POV)
Geoffrey: No!
(Abigail's POV)
*When I opened my eyes, all my friends were on the ground, hurt & unconscious. Naugus laughed & turned back to the Chaos Emeralds. I began to feel angry as I held my pendant in both hands*
Abigail: Please . . . You gave me the power to turn invisible before. So now I'm asking you. Please . . . Give me the power to defeat Naugus!
*My pendant started to glow red. Feeling a lot of power coursing through me, I stood up. Naugus turned back to face me as my body began sparking, my hair went straight up, & my eyes started to glow red*
(Third-Person POV)
Nusgau: I'm sensing powerful magic from her!
Suguna: And it's growing!
Geoffrey: Abby . . .
(Abigail's POV)
Ixis Naugus: Those puny powers are no match for mine!
Abigail: YOU MONSTER!
*I sent blast of magic through the room & it went through the ceiling*
(Third-Person POV)
*Outside, everyone saw the beam of red light coming from the castle*
(Abigail's POV)
*All my friends started to wake up. They all gasped when they saw me*
Lacey: Abby?
*I waved my hand & they were all placed inside a red bubble*
Sally: Abby! What are you doing!?
*I was quiet for a few seconds*
Abigail: Sonic. *he looked at me* I know you're always the one who saves the day. But this time . . . It's my turn in the spotlight.
*He just stared at me for a few seconds. Then he smiled & gave me a thumbs-up*
Sonic: Go for it.
*I nodded. I then turned back to Naugus. He then sent a blast of magic at me & I sent my own. They both hit in the middle. The force of both our powers colliding sent me back at bit*
(Third-Person POV)
Agunus: She's countering us!? Impossible!
Geoffrey: Abby . . . Stay strong.
(Abigail's POV)
*I struggled to keep his power at bay & get mine close to him*
Ixis Naugus: Give up, girl! Give me your pendant and I may spare some of you!
*The floor cracked under my feet as I pushed back*
Abigail: NEVER!
*My blast became even more powerful & got closer to him. The force from the blast started to crack the castle walls. Just then, a piece of the ceiling broke off & fell pretty close to King Nigel. I lost focus for a split second out of fear for him*
Amy: ABBY, LOOK OUT!
*The force of Naugus' blast started to get stronger & it forced me back*
Cream: Miss Abigail!
Cheese: Choa-Choa!
*Naugus then broke through my blast, sending me flying back a bit*
(Third-Person POV)
*Using his telekinesis powers, he broke through the bubble & ran towards Abigail. The others were right behind him*
Silver: ABBY!
(Abigail's POV)
*For a minute, everything was black*
Silver:*off-screen* Abby, hang on.
*I opened my eyes & they went wide. All my friends, Lacey, the Freedom Fighters (minus Antoine), the Chaotix, the Secret Freedom Fighters, & the Plus Ultra Squad, were all struggling to block Naugus' attack. Seeing them all work together to save me gave me new strength. Once I got my footing, I sent a shard of ice towards Naugus & it hit his staff, causing a crack. The crack started the grow until the staff broke into pieces. Once it shattered, Naugus began to scream in agony has he turned back to his original form, with Geoffrey separating from him. Sonic zoomed towards Geoffrey, caught him, & brought him back. Then the crystal pillers holding the Emeralds shattered*
Ixis Naugus: WHAT! NO!
*The Emeralds all flew to me & hovered over me in a circle. I looked at Sonic & Silver,*
Abigail: You boys ready to finish this?
*They both nodded & used the Chaos Emeralds to turn into their Super Forms*
Ixis Naugus: No . . .
Abigail: Naugus! *he turned towards us with a glare* We won't let you harm anyone, anymore!
*Using what little magic he had left, he stood up, shaking a little*
Ixis Naugus: I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS!
*He sent another attack towards us, but me, Sonic, & Silver all blocked it. The boys then gathered balls of Chaos Energy in their hands, while I gathered a ball of magic, & got ready to throw them*
Sonic & Silver: CHAOS CONTROL!
*We threw the balls straight towards Naugus*
(Third-Person POV)
*Just before the attack hit Naugus, a portal opened behind him & a hand came out. It grabbed his shoulder & pulled him inside*
(Abigail's POV)
*The attack hit the wall with a big BOOM. Once the smoke cleared, we saw that the crystals holding Hershey, King Nigel, Queen Alicia, Elias, Megan, Alexis, & the Council of Acorn had broke, freeing them*
Dylan: Oh, my head . . .
Tails: Mom!
Sally: Daddy! Mother!
Elias: Mother! Father!
Sonic: Uncle Chuck!
*They all ran to their families & hugged them. After they were done with the hugs & kisses, everyone turned to me. I powered down & stopped glowing. I felt a little weak after that, but I was okay*
Lacey: Abby!
*She ran up to me & hugged me, knocking off my feet & on to my back. She then started to cry. Sally then offered me her hand & helped me stand up*
Sally: You did it, Abby. You've saved all of us.
Hamlin: Yes. You did. But I would have preferred if . . . You had done it a little more delicately! *he pointed up to the giant hole in the ceiling & the rest of damage* Do you have any idea how close you were to bringing the whole castle down!?. *he pointed at me* Young lady, if you can't learn to control those powers of yours, I swear I'll -
King Nigel Acorn: Now, Hamlin. Seeing as how they saved us, I think we can over look the mess.
Hamlin: But . . . Sire . . .
King Nigel Acorn: The castle can be repaired. All that matters now is that we are all safe and together.
Abigail: Not quite, Your Highness. There's one person who's still not with us.
*We all went to Antoine's room at the hospital*
Bunnie: Can you really help him, Abby-Girl?
Abigail: I can't make any promises, Bunnie. But I'll try. *I held my pendant in my hands* Please, give me the power to heal my friend.
*My pendant started to glow yellow & then a song appeared in my head. I then went to Antoine, put my hand on his forehead, took a deep breath, & closed my eyes*
(Third-Person POV)
*Abigail singing*
Flower, gleam and glow
*As she sang, the rest of her body started to glow yellow. She then opened her eyes to reveal them glowing yellow, startling everyone*

(Abigail's POV)
*I opened my eyes & looked around. Everyone was staring at me with wide eyes. Just then, we all heard a groan. We turned towards Antoine & saw something shocking. Antoine was moving. He then slowly opened his eyes*
Antoine: Bunnie . . . Mon Amor?
*Bunnie burst into tears & hugged Antoine*
Bunnie: Oh, Suger Twan!
*I looked at my hand*
Abigail: Did . . . Did I just . . .?
Sonic: Uh, yeah you did! And it was awesome!
*Bunnie turned to me & hugged me tight*
Bunnie: Oh, Abby-Girl! Thank you so much! How can Ah ever thank you?
Abigail: You . . . Can start by . . . Letting go. I can't . . . Breath . . .
Bunnie: Oops! *she let go & I gasped for air* Sorry, Suger. Don't know mah own strength sometimes.
*Dr. Quack did a full check-up on his vitals*
Dr. Quack: Amazing. I'm not seeing any signs of his injuries. No scars. No bruises. Nothing. He's completely cured! *he took my hands & shook them* You, Abigail, are a miracle worker!
Abigail: Well, it was nothing. I'd do anything for a friend. But could you please keep what you've seen a secret? I don't really want anyone outside of this room to know about this.
Dr. Quack: My lips are sealed.
*A few days later, everyone in New Mobotropolis & Knotehole had gathered at the Coliseum for Sally's Welcome Home Concert. I peaked through the curtains on the stage & smiled when I saw Antoine next to Bunnie in a wheelchair & Sonic & Sally cuddling each other. We had also invited the Chaotix & Freedom Fighters from all over the world (except for the Sand Blasters, of course). I had personally invited Shadow, Rouge, Omega, & Hope. Shadow noticed me peaking out & waved at me. I waved back*
Abigail: It's a full house.
Ash: Well, can you blame them? Sally is back, Naugus is gone, and, despite a few damages, the city is safe.
Mina: Yep! Now let's give them a performance they'll always remember!
*I nodded & the curtains opened. The crowd cheered as I stood on stage next to Mina & the Forget-Me-Knots were right behind us*
Abigail: Are you guys really to rock?
Mina & the Forget-Me-Knots: We're ready!
*Abigail & Mina singing*

*Once we finished the song, the whole crowd went wild. Shadow then suddenly teleported himself on to the stage & pulled me in for a kiss. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sonic kissing Sally & Bunnie kissing Antoine. I also saw Mina kissing Ash & Knuckles kissing Julie-Su. Yep. I had a feeling that things were going to be alright now. Well, at least until our next big adventure*
(Third-Person POV)
*Very far away from New Mobotropolis & Knotehole, deep in a hidden cave, Naugus was laying unconscious on a flat rock. Soon, he started to wake up*
Ixis Naugus: Ohh . . . Where am I? *just then, he noticed something* What!? My body! Why aren't I mutating!?
?:*off-screen* That would be my doing.
*He turned towards the voice & his eyes went wide*
Ixis Naugus: You!
*Standing in front of him was a an adult human woman with white hair, pointed ears, a rat's tail, a horn on her forehead, light brown fur, a claw instead of a right hand, & red eyes wearing a black witch's hat, a black cape over a blue dress, & red boots. Behind her was a white female rabbit with peach skin & green eyes wearing red ribbons, a teal & red outfit, teal gloves with red cuffs, & teal, red & white shoes, a blue male wolf with tan skin, blue eyes, & a red nose wearing dark blue & mustard gloves & shoes, & a brown male grizzly bear with red eyes wearing white gloves with green & red cuffs & blue, red & white shoes*
Wendy Naugus: It's been a long time . . . Wally.
Ixis Naugus: GRRR! I TOLD YOU NEVER TO CALL ME THAT AGAIN!
Wendy Naugus: Oh, right. I forgot you go by Ixis Naugus now. My bad.
Ixis Naugus: Enough with the innocent act. Why did you bring me here?
Wendy Naugus: What kind of sister would I be if I didn't help my only brother? You can also thank me for giving you something to help you with your other problem. Just look around your neck.
*He looked & saw he was wearing a red & black amulet (look up "Blood Amulet" by "Wolkenwaechter" on DeviantArt) around his neck*
Ixis Naugus: This . . . This is . . .
Wendy Naugus: That's right. The Ixis Amulet. The ancient treasure of our ancestors. It should keep those nasty disfigurations & voices in your head at bay as long as you keep that on & give it a drop of your blood once a month.
Ixis Naugus: But where? How?
Wendy Naugus: I found it while exploring an old temple in a jungle. How I found it, wasn't easy, let me tell you.
Ixis Naugus: On second thought, nevermind. I don't want to know.
Wendy Naugus: If you say so. Anyway, I didn't save you just to have a family reunion. I've been watching you these past few months, and I think you're in need of help. Lots of it.
Ixis Naugus: What are you suggesting?
Wendy Naugus: I'm suggesting that we team up. Just like the old days. I help you get your revenge on your enemies. But in return, you help me get my hands on that pretty pendant that cat girl wears. It would make a wonderful addition to my collection of magical relics.
*Ixis Naugus thought for a moment, then an evil grin grew on his face*
Ixis Naugus: Very well. As long as you let me use it's power to destroy my enemies first!
Wendy Naugus: Deal.
*The evil twins shook hands, then burst out into evil laughter*
