(Abigail's POV)
*It's been five months since we defeated Naugus & it was now December. I woke up that morning just before my alarm, feeling fresh as a daisy. I looked at my calendar & my eyes went wide. December 24th, Christmas Eve. I jumped out of bed, knocking a sleeping Huck off my pillow & on to the floor, ran to my window, & opened the curtains*
Abigail: It's snowing!
Huckleberry:*off-screen* Chao . . .
*I turned around & saw Huck picking himself off the floor & rubbing a sore head. He then gave me a glare*
Abigail: Sorry, Huck. I'm just so excited! *I took him in my hands & spun around on one foot* This is my first Christmas in New Mobotropolis and Knotehole and I don't want to miss a second of it! *I then ran to my closet & got dressed. I put on my purple turtleneck, my blue jeans, & my black boots (look up "Abigail - Winter Clothes" by "SwanGirl24" on "Deviantart"). I then ran downstairs & into the kitchen, with Huck on my shoulder. Mom was fixing breakfast, Dad was reading the newspaper, & Grandpa was trying to feed Toby, but he was being picky, as usual* Good morning, family! And Merry Christmas!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
Toby: Aba! Aba!
Laura: Good morning to you too, Sweetie.
Robert: You're up early. I thought you'd be sleep in.
Abigail: No way. *I went to the fridge & poured a glass of milk* I have to meet Lacey and the Freedom Fighters at Freedom HQ. Sally as a full day of Christmas activities planned today. I was so excited last night, I thought I'd never get to sleep.
Robert: Well, if you were this excited last night, I wonder if you'll be able to sleep tonight.
Abigail: I'll probably be too excited to see what Santa brought me this year.
Laura: Well, I don't know about Santa, but you can count on me making you all a delicious Christmas dinner.
Lawrence: Well, it couldn't be any worse than that turkey you burned three years ago.
*Mom rolled her eyes & the rest of us chuckled*
Laura: Very funny, Father.
*I giggled as Huck & I finished our breakfast. I then went to the door, put on my brown coat with white fake fur trim (look up "Abigail - Winter Clothes" by "SwanGirl24" on "Deviantart") & new green scarf (I got it so Huck & I could match)*
Abigail: See you all later!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
Toby: Bah-Bah, Aba!
Robert: Have fun, sweetheart!
*Huck & I ran out of the house & used one of the secret tunnels to get to Freedom HQ. When we got there, Lacey & the Freedom Fighters were already there (Lacey was wearing a pink dress with white fake fur trim & a matching miniature hat (look up "Hanasaki Tsubomi [Precure Tsunagaru Pazurun] by "JellyHeartsOffical" on "DeviantArt"))*
Abigail: Hey guys! Happy Holidays!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
Cheese: Chao-Chao!
*He & Huck flew to each other & hugged*
Sonic: Yo, Abby! Happy Holidays!
Abigail: Hey Cream, where are Chocola and Gemerl?
Cream: Chocola's helping Mother finish her Christmas baking and Gemerl's decorating our house.
Abigail: Well, I'm glad my Mom's done with her Christmas baking.
Tails: Didn't she start baking back in September?
Abigail: Well, you know her. She goes all out when it comes to this stuff.
Sally:*off-screen* Ahem! *we all turned & saw her tapping her foot with a stern look on her face**on-screen* Now that I have everyone's attention, can I explain what I have planned for us today?
Bunnie: Of course. Go ahead, Sally-Girl.
Sally: Thank you. *she pulled out her handheld computer* Our first order of business is to decorate Freedom HQ. Then we'll be traveling around Mobius, giving our Christmas wishes to all our fellow Freedom Fighters.
Antoine: Including ze Sand Blasters?
Sally:*sigh* Yes, including the Sand Blasters. Anyway, next we'll be paying a visit to Knuckles, Julie-Su, & the rest of the Chaotix. And finally we'll be going to Empire City to help the Hospital with their annual Christmas Toy Drive.
Abigail: Really!? *I got really close to her face* Do you know if Shadow's going to be there!?
Sally: Well . . . Maybe.
Abigail: Yay!
Sonic: All right! Let's get this show on the road!
*Soon, we were putting up Christmas decorations. As I was putting an ornament on the tree, I started singing a Christmas Carol. Everyone else joined in*
*Abigail singing*

Abigail: Thanks. I'm really getting the hang of my new powers.
*Bunnie then pulled out a small brown box*
Bunnie: Okay yall! We just gotta put the star on the tree and we're done.
*Sally walked up to Bunnie, opened the box, & pulled out a gold star*
Sally: Now, as you all know, it's a standing tradition that the newest member of the Freedom Fighters gets to put the star on the tree. And I think we all know who that is.
*Everyone turned to me*
Abigail: Me? But shouldn't it be Amy?
Sally: Technically, yes. But you joined before she became an official member, so it only makes sense.
Amy: I'll put it on next year.
*I smiled, walked up to Sally, & took the star. I then climbed the ladder Rotor set up & placed it on the top. After we took a few minutes to admire our work, we all bundled up (look up "Freedom Fighters - A Winter Break" by "Chauvels" on "DeviantArt") (Lacey put on a magenta coat (look up "Hagoromo Lala [Precure Tsunagaru Pazurun]" by "JellyHeartsOffical" on "DeviantArt")). Just as we were about to board the Sky Patrol, Lacey stopped me*
Lacey: Abby! Don't forget, we still have our own Christmas tradition.
*I winked at her & gave her a thumbs up*
Abigail: Don't worry. I'd never forget that.
Lacey: Great! I'll see you then. Oh, and tell Mighty I said "Merry Christmas!"
Abigail: Will do.
*I waved her goodbye & got on board*
Sonic: You guys have your own Christmas tradition?
Abigail: Yep. Ever since we were kids.
Tails: What do you guys do?
Abigail: You'll see.
*Then we all took off to visit the other Freedom Fighter groups & wish them all a Merry Christmas (including the Sand Blasters, but we only stayed for like, five seconds to drop the wishes down from the Sky Patrol). It was fun to see how different cultures celebrated Christmas. After that, we visited Knuckles & Julie-Su at the Master Emerald Shrine (Knuckles was wearing a green scarf & Julie-Su was wearing a teal jacket & black pants (look up "Knux-Su * Winter Shopping" by "Julie-su15" on "DeviantArt"). After we served them hot chocolate & helped decorate the shrine, we went to visit the rest of the Chaotix at their newly built Detective Agency (look up "STH - A Chaotic Christmas" by "NinjaHaku21" on "DeviantArt"). After I gave Mighty Lacey's message, we headed to Empire City to help the Hospital with it's Christmas Toy Drive. Two hours went by we already had a mountain of wrapped gifts. Antoine, Bunnie, & Rotor were making sure they were stacked neatly & the rest of us were collecting them*
Sonic: Make a kid's Holiday happy! *a goth teenage Overlander boy gave Sally a wrapped present* Thanks, dude. Have a candy cane.
*We were also giving out candy canes to donaters. A little mouse girl & her Mom came up to me*
Abigail: Hi there. Are you donating a gift to Toy Mountain?
*She handed me a present*
Little Mouse Girl: It's for a little girl like me.
Abigail: Aww. That's so sweet. You don't happen to know what it is do you? *she shook her head* That's okay.
*I handed her a candy cane & she left with her Mom. As soon as they were gone, I put the present to my ear & shook it. I couldn't tell what was inside, so I just threw it on the pile with a disappointed look*
Amy: What's wrong, Abby?
Abigail: I'm surrounded by presents and I don't know what's in any of them.
Tails: So? They're not for you.
Abigail: You don't understand! This is like torture!
Sonic: You were one of those little kids who used to try and find all her Christmas presents, weren't you?
Abigail: I still am! Come on! Aren't you just a little bit curious?
*My friends all looked at each other & shrugged*
Sally: Don't worry. We're only here for another two hours.
*Just then, Shadow, Rouge, Omega, & Hope walked over (Shadow was wearing a white scarf, Rouge was wearing a white coat over a red turtleneck (look up "Under the mistletoe" by "FinikArt" on "DeviantArt"), & Hope was wearing an orange jacket, black earmuffs, a red scarf, & black mittens). As soon as I saw Shadow, I ran over & hugged him*
Abigail: Shadow! Happy Holidays!
Shadow: Merry Christmas, Angel.
*We shared a kiss*
Rouge: Wow. You guys have really hit the present jackpot.
Hope: I think this has got to be the most successful toy drive the hospital has ever had.
Sally: The director thought we'd bring in more donaters. And it was for a good cause, so how could I say no?
Omega: BY JUST SAYING IT TO THE HUMAN.
Shadow: That was a question that didn't require an answer.
*I giggled*
*After 2 "long" hours, we went back home. I invited Team Dark & Hope to join us. I wanted to show them my special Christmas tradition with Lacey. When we arrived, the Chaotix were waiting for us. Along with my Mom, Sonic's Mom, Tails' Mom, Rosie, & her kids, all with trays of hot chocolate & gingerbread cookies. After I finished my mug & had a few cookies, I ran off. I quickly turned back to my friends & shouted . . .*
Abigail: Guys! Come to my house in an hour! There'll be a surprise waiting for you!
(An hour later - Third-Person POV)
*The Freedom Fighters, Chaotix, Team Dark, & Hope were walking up to Abigail's house*
Cream: I wonder what kind of surprise Miss Abigail has for us.
Cheese: Chao-Chao.
?:*off-screen* Hello.
*They all turned to the left & saw a small snowman with a big carrot nose & black rocks for eyes & buttons. A very familiar cat was behind it. Moving it's stick arms & talking in a deep voice*
Snowman: My name is Olf and I like warm hugs.
*The Freedom Fighters, Chaotix, Rouge, & Hope all giggled & chuckled. Shadow just smirked & walked up to the snowman*
Shadow: Abby, if you want to disguise your voice, you're going to have to do better than that.
(Abigail's POV?
*I came out from behind the snowman*
Abigail: Okay, you caught me.
*Lacey came out from behind a tree*
Rotor: So, this is the Christmas tradition you were talking about.
Abigail: Yep. We've been making him almost every Christmas Eve since we were little.
Lacey: And every year, we rotate yards. Next year, we're building him in my front yard.
Amy: He's adorable!
Lacey: I know. Those two Christmases when Abby worked for Mordred were the worst ever. No Olaf, no presents, no nothing.
Abigail: I thought we agreed to never speak of that again.
Lacey: Right. Sorry.
Sonic: Well, today has definitely been fun. We all better head home
Sally: Yeah. If I'm late for dinner, Daddy is probably going to send the Royal Guard after me.
*We all waved goodbye (I kissed Shadow goodbye) & Huck & I headed for home. When we got there, we were greeted by Toby, wearing a reindeer costume (look up "Toby - Reindeer Costume" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt")
Toby: Aba! Aba!
Abigail: Well, well, who do we have here? *I picked him up* A mini Rudolph?
*I booped his nose & he giggled. My Mom then came up*
Laura: Your Great Aunt Clara just sent it. I was so adorable that I just had to put it on him. I think he likes it.
Abigail: I can tell.
Laura: Anyway, you're just in time. Dinner's ready.
Abigail: Alright! Bring it on! I'm starving!
Huckleberry: Chao-Chao!
*We had a delicious Christmas dinner of roast beef, cooked vegetables, & sparking cider (mashed carrots & milk for Toby). After some chocolate & hot chocolate for dessert, Huck & I went to bed, dreaming of the presents we were going to get tomorrow*
*The next day, on Christmas Day, I spent the whole morning with my family, opening presents. After that, I went to Freedom HQ for a Christmas party. After that, I spent the evening on a date with my boyfriend, which ended with him giving me a charm bracelet & a kiss under some mistletoe. This was definitely my best Christmas ever*
