Chapter 1 The Kaiju
On desert planet in the mid rim was a Republic Base led by Jedi Master Arana.
"General. We're getting some strange readings." A clone technician said.
"What kind of readings?" Arana asked.
"I don't know. They're not making sense. It's like energy is building right next to us." The clone said before the ground began to shake.
"An Earthquake?" A clone asked.
"No...That wasn't a quake. That was something else." Arana said before the shaking got more intense.
Thats when everyone heard a mighty roar as a portal opened up.
"What the hell is that?" A clone asked before a clawed hand came through as a large monster came through and roared.
"No...It cannot be." Arana said in shock as he rushed to a communication counsel.
The clones yelled as it tore right through their defenses.
"This is Jedi Master Arana to the Jedi council. My base has been attacked by...I don't even know how to say it. All I can say is Kruger was right. Kruger was right about...AHHHH!" Arana yelled in horror.
Later
"Kruger was right about...AHHH!" Arana's last transmission played in front of the council.
"I don't believe this. He actually was right." Mundi said seeing the beast in hologram form.
"Who was right about what?" Anakin asked.
"It's complicated. The creature tore through our defenses like it was nothing. It took five hours just to kill it." Kenobi said.
"Has there been any other incidents regarding this creature?" Mace
"More like creatures. There have been several sightings of different monsters on both Republic and Separatists worlds. And both senates are saying the other is responsible." Anakin said.
"Hmm. This is not good." Kenobi said.
"We all know what we need to do." Shaak Ti said.
"No. We all agreed to let that subject go." Piel said.
"No you did. We need to bring him back." Fisto said.
"Who?" Ahsoka asked.
"His name is Sean Arthur Ashburn Kruger. He was a prodigy of the Order and obtained the rank of knight 15 years ago when he was only 10." Mace said.
"So...Why haven't we heard of him?" Anakin asked.
"He had a...falling out with the order 15 years ago. Regarding certain ideals of the order." Mundi said.
"But now we need to bring him back since he had weapon designs that were more advanced than anything we currently have." Mace said.
"So where is he?" Ahsoka asked.
"He's on his home Planet known as Earth." Kenobi said.
"Why does that name sound familiar?" Anakin asked.
"It should. They used to be part of the Republic before they left 15 years ago. They also had a falling out because the Republic was constantly dissolving its military." Mundi said.
"Earth is 80% Military." Kenobi said.
"So lets go find him already." Ahsoka said as they left.
"Do you think...He's finally forgiven us for what happened?" Fisto asked.
"We shouldn't need forgiveness." Piel said.
"It's because of you he left in first place. What were you thinking?" Adi asked glaring at him making him sigh.
"I wasn't...I know what I did was over the line. But it had to stop." Piel said.
"And yet he was right all along...And now we're paying the price for it." Koth said making him sigh.
Later
A republic cruiser exited hyperspace over Earth.
"Whoa." Ahsoka said seeing massive cannons over the planet.
"When they said Earth was mostly military they really meant it." Anakin said as they got to a gunship.
Landing at a landing pad they looked around seeing one of the monsters dead bodies.
"Looks like they attacked here too." Ahsoka said.
"If Kruger did make something to fight them he's gonna be one hell of an ally." Anakin said as they arrived at some building.
"Who are you?" Someone asked.
"I am Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker. This is my Padawan Ahsoka. We're looking for someone." Anakin said making him frown.
"I'm Marshal Pentecost. Who are you looking for?" Pentecost asked.
"Kruger. He used to be a Jedi from what we were told. We need to find him." Ahsoka said.
"He's...In his private estate outside the City. With the weapons and technology he helped create it gave him a fortune. I'll give you the location but thats all I can do." Pentecost said.
"Thank you." Anakin said as he and Ahsoka left making him frown more.
"Why are you helping them?" Another asked.
"I don't think they know the truth. Better they learn it from him directly." Pentecost said.
Later
Outside a massive estate a gunship landed.
"Wow. He really did earn himself a fortune." Ahsoka said.
"Come on." Anakin said as they went inside.
Inside they found it full of artwork.
Thats when they were approached by a boy who was 13 years old. He had tan skin with brown hair and dark blue eyes dressed in regular civilian clothes.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Anakin Skywalker and this is my Padawan Ahsoka Tano. We're looking For Sean Arthur Ashburn Kruger." Anakin said.
"Oh your looking for my brother huh? Name's Turok. He's in his lab." Turok said.
"Lab?" Ahsoka said.
"He still designs new weapons mostly as a hobby. Personally I think he needs a girlfriend." Turok said making them snicker.
"I fucking heard that." Sean said.
Looking they saw him. He had white skin with brown hair and forest green eyes. He was also well built showing he trained constantly dressed in black leather pants with black combat boots on. Also had a punisher style shirt on with a black leather jacket with three spikes on each shoulder and spiked gloves.
"So your Kruger." Anakin said.
"Yeah. Who are you?" Sean asked before seeing their lightsabers and frowned. "Your Jedi." Sean said.
"Yeah. We were sent by the council to bring you back for help." Anakin said.
"Let me guess. Monsters are attacking." Sean said.
"So you know?" Ahsoka asked.
"I was alerted about the attack on the capital. Only lasted a minute because of the defense tech I made." Sean said.
"Then you need to help us." Anakin said.
"I don't have to do jack shit. The Republic and the Jedi are not my problem. Not anymore." Sean said.
"Look we know you had a falling out with order 15 years ago." Ahsoka said making him pause.
"A falling out? Is that what they told you? Did they say why?" Sean asked.
"They said you had issues with certain ideals of the order." Anakin said making him glare.
"Ha...Can't even tell the fucking truth...I see the council hasn't changed." Sean said.
"What does that mean?" Anakin asked confused.
"Tell them to fuck off. I have no interest in helping them." Sean said.
"Look whatever issues you have you need to put it aside for the greater good." Ahsoka said.
"Do you wanna know why I left the order in the first place? Hmm? Don't you find it strange they need my help regarding weapons to face these creatures? Do you ever wonder why I know how to make weapons to fight them?" Sean asked confusing them.
"What are you trying to say?" Anakin asked.
"The reason I know how to fight the Kaiju as I call them is because I found out they were gonna come 15 years ago." Sean said shocking them.
"What? You knew this was gonna happen? Why didn't you tell the Council?" Anakin asked.
"I tried." Sean said shocking them further.
"You...Tried to tell them?" Ahsoka asked.
"I warned them 15 years ago this was gonna happen. I told them the Kaiju breach was slowly building up and it was gonna open in a decade or more. And I was right...But none of them even believed me. Not even for a second. Instead they ridiculed me. Humiliated me. Beat me." Sean said shocking them.
"Beat you?" Anakin asked.
"You can thank Piel for that one. He wanted me to stop about this subject. I even tried to warn the Senate but they blacklisted me from ever coming near them since they didn't want to look like lunatics as Piel said. So I left. I told the Military council here what was gonna happen and they took it seriously. I made the weapons that are so effective against them because I had time to study them. And we were ready for them. And now the Jedi expect me to come back. No. Not now not ever. The time of the Jedi is over. Their arrogance is what led to their downfall. Not me." Sean said as he and his brother left. "I would seriously consider where your loyalties lie now." Sean said.
Later
Anakin and Ahsoka walked into the Jedi council chambers.
"Where is he?" Kenobi asked making him glare. "Anakin? Whats wrong?" Kenobi asked.
"Is it true...That he tried to warn you about this 15 years ago?" Anakin asked shocking them.
"Skywalker..." Mace said.
"IS IT TRUE!" Anakin roared shocking him and the council.
"Yes...It is." Mundi said in regret.
"Why would you not listen to him?" Anakin asked.
"It seemed absurd at the time." Koth said.
"Giant monsters coming through some breach from another galaxy. How could anyone believe that?" Piel asked.
"Did you even look at the Data he had?" Ahsoka asked making him sigh.
"No." Piel said.
"Then how can you said it was absurd if you never even looked at his data? Where is the Logic in that?" Anakin asked.
"None. We just were so sure of our own judgment that we didn't even bother. But he kept persisting it was true." Mace said.
"And one of you had him beaten." Anakin said glaring at Piel who sighed.
"I just wanted it to end. For him to drop it." Piel said.
"Except he was right." Ahsoka said.
"We know Soka." Plo said in regret.
"Master Qui-Gon however managed to convince the council to at least look saying what if he was right and we were wrong." Obi-Wan said.
"But by then he had already left the order and all of his data with him. It was our greatest regret realizing we chased away one with such promise." Mace said.
"And now he's not gonna help. And you lied about all of it. Why he left and why Earth severed ties with the Republic. He told them everything and they got pissed you just brushed it off like it meant nothing." Anakin said.
"They might rejoin us to help fight these monsters once word reaches them about the attacks." Koth said.
"One attacked them." Ahsoka said shocking them. "But it only lasted for a minute. Whatever weapons he's made clearly works." Ahsoka said.
"We have to try and heal these wounds between us or it's only going to get worse." Shaak Ti said.
"How? I told you he's not gonna help us. No matter what we do." Anakin said.
"We have to at least try." Kenobi said.
Later
Sean was whistling as he sat outside on a hammock with a drink in hand.
Thats when he felt a shadow making him look and glared seeing Mace of all people.
"You. Didn't I make it fucking clear I'm not helping you cocksuckers?" Sean asked standing up seeing the rest of the council. "Oh great. It's the whole group. Though I see some are clearly missing. Dead I Assume." Sean said making Piel glare. "Don't go fucking glaring at me goblin face." Sean said.
"Sean...We just came to talk." Mace said.
"Fuck off. Conversation is over. I have no interest in helping any of you." Sean said about to walk off.
"But you care about making profit from suffering." Koth accused making him pause.
"You think I asked for money in exchange for my help? No. I helped because I wanted my home safe. The money was given to me as compensation not to mention the therapy bills it paid for considering the mental and physical damage you gave me. Right...Piel?" Sean asked making him flinch as he showed a scar on the right side of his head.
"I...Made a mistake that day...We all did." Piel said in regret.
"Mistakes can be corrected. No...You all let arrogance blind you thinking you all had the answers and no one else. Hows that working out for ya?" Sean asked making them frown knowing they had no retort.
"Sean...People are dying from these Kaiju attacks." Adi said trying to reason with him.
"Yeah? And is that my fucking problem? I warned you fucking morons this was gonna happen 15 years ago and tried to show you the data on it but you flat out ignored me. Why should I help you?" Sean asked.
"It's the right thing to do." Kenobi said making him scoff in amusement.
"Oh so it must have been the right thing to do what you all did to me? How Hypocritical. At least Qui-Gon listened to me. At least he had the intelligence to listen to a problem where you guys do nothing but sit on your asses." Sean said.
"How dare you!" Koth yelled before Sean grabbed him by the neck shocking him.
"DON'T! Don't you fucking dare act innocent. You idiots do nothing. While the galaxy suffers. At least my home planet had the brains to listen to what I tried to tell you and took it seriously. And now people across the galaxy...Are dying because you wouldn't listen to me. What happens now is not my concern. I won't help. Not now or ever and you have only yourselves to blame." Sean said.
"Sean...Please...Don't let your anger at us be the reason from doing what you know is right." Shaak Ti said.
"It's not my call anyway. Earth is no longer aligned with the Republic. The only way I could help is if they were to rejoin the Republic but we all know thats not gonna happen. They made it very clear they don't trust any of you after what happened." Sean said.
"Then convince them." Mundi said.
"No. Sure I got a lot of pull...But I'm not interested in helping the rest of the galaxy. Not anymore. I learned the hard way the price for thinking that everything you do to help people matters. It gets you nothing but pain." Sean said before security arrived. "Leave...Or you will be arrested." Sean said making Mace sigh as they left.
"I know what we did was wrong...We should have taken it more serious. And what we did was no excuse for our actions. But you know people are suffering. Are you willing to let them die for our mistakes?" Mace asked.
"I told you...I don't care anymore. All that matters is my home and my little brother...And my daughter." Sean said surprising him by the last part before they left.
Later
Sean sighed as he got himself a drink before gulping it down.
"Daddy?"
Sean looked to see a five year old girl who had blonde hair with tan skin and his eyes making him smile as he picked her up.
"Samantha where have you been?" Sean asked sitting down.
"Visiting mommy." Samantha said making him smile sadly.
Sean's wife had passed away a year ago from a very rare disease that couldn't be cured at the time.
She was buried out in the back yard in a closed off portion of the estate so he and his daughter could visit her any day.
"I miss her." Sam said making him nod.
"I know...So do I." Sean said
Meanwhile
"That...Could have gone better." Kenobi said.
"I told you he wasn't gonna help. And it's all your fault. You humiliated, ridiculed and beat him for nothing. All because you thought you were right and he was wrong. Some council you all are." Anakin said leaving with Ahsoka making Kenobi sigh.
"We have to try again. Maybe we could convince the senate to open peace talks with the Military council." Koth said.
"I don't think thats gonna work either. It's clear they don't trust us or the senate. And all of it is our fault." Plo said.
"We can't just sit here and watch as these things attack planet by planet." Mundi said.
"I'm afraid theres little we can do. We don't have the technology to stop these things as effectively as Earth can." Fisto said.
A dark day had fallen over the galaxy and the Jedi were the cause of it.
Author's note. For the record no I don't hate the Jedi but the council has made very dumb decisions before in the past. Like when they found out Dooku was the one who made the clones and yet they did nothing about it. This should have sounded off alarms that something was clearly wrong and investigated those chips again but no. They didn't do anything. This will be a shorter story compared to the long versions I try to make. And no massive harem. Mostly one or two women only three at the most. Read, Review, Fav and Follow. REVIEW MY LOYAL FANS!
