Chapter 2 Turn for the worse

It's been a month since the Kaiju came through the breach and started terrorizing the galaxy with unimaginable destruction.

The only planet that remained safe was Earth since the technology Sean made proved the most effective against them.

The Senates of the Republic and Separatists had put aside their issues for the greater good to stop these attacks for their survival.

To that end the Clone wars came to a peaceful end between both sides and both clones and droids fought together to destroy the Kaiju that came through.

But even then it only helped a little since both sides suffered high level casualties in this new war against the Kaiju.

Right now the Senate was debating the Kaiju.

"We need a stronger defense against these monsters." A senator yelled.

"Our troops and weapons are barely holding their own. The causalities are climbing day by day." Senator Lodd Dod said.

"Senators please. Let's remain calm." Palpatine said.

"What about Earth? They haven't reported in about any of these attacks?" Organa asked.

"According to the Jedi they seem to have the edge against them. But for some reason they won't accept any of our peace talks." Palpatine said getting roars of outrage from them.

"So they have the answer to fighting them and won't even help us!" Another yelled.

"Lets remember they had a falling out with the Republic and the Jedi 15 years ago for some reason. There must be an explanation." Mon mothma said.

"I suggest we send a senator there and obtain the truth." A Separatist senator said.

"I agree. Senator Amidala? Would you be so kind as to go to Earth and ask them why they refuse to help?" Palpatine asked.

"Of course." Padme said.

Later

"No." Sean said to Padme. "I'm not helping the Republic or the Jedi. Fuck that." Sean said.

"Look whatever reason you have to be against the Republic are you willing to have innocent people die by these monsters? According to reports the Jedi came to you for help a month ago when this started." Padme said making him pause.

"Aren't you the least bit curious as to why that is?" Sean asked.

"What are you saying?" Padme asked.

"Don't you find it strange that as soon as the Kaiju show up as I call them that they immediately came here? Not the Senate? Not the security council of the Republic...Here. For me." Sean said.

"I...I don't understand. What are you trying to say?" Padme asked.

"What do you know about me?" Sean asked.

"Nothing. I've never heard of you before." Padme said making him scoff in amusement.

"What a surprise. I used to be a Jedi 15 years ago. I obtained the rank of knight at the age of ten 15 years ago." Sean said.

"You were a Jedi?" Padme asked.

"I used to be. I left." Sean said.

"Why would you leave. Not many of them ever do." Padme said.

"Because...I knew this was gonna happen 15 years ago." Sean said shocking her.

"What? You knew this was gonna happen? How?" Padme asked.

"I was working with some energy frequencies when I discovered an anomaly. Then I found the breaches and discovered what was on the other side. The Kaiju. I looked into it for days before I found out what was gonna happen." Sean said.

"Why didn't you warn the Senate or the Jedi council?" Padme asked glaring at him making him glare right back.

"I tried." Sean said confusing her.

"Tried?" Padme asked.

"I told the council what was gonna happen. They didn't believe me. They said it was impossible. But I kept persisting. They ridiculed, Humiliated and beat me to shut me up. And black listed me from ever going near the Senate because as Piel said they didn't wanna look like lunatics. So you tell me...Who's really at fault here?" Sean asked making her look in shock.

"And they know now." Padme said.

"Last month they asked for my help since I made weapons on how to fight them. But I refused and I told the Jedi who came after me everything. EVERYTHING." Sean said.

"Thats why Anakin has been avoiding Obi-Wan for a month. He knows what they did." Padme said.

"Oh yes. He's one of the Jedi I can see keeps his word...And doesn't judge so quickly on others as they did me. But his talent is being wasted on the current council. The time of the Jedi has long passed. They're an old relic that is misguided by arrogance and causes more problems than their worth." Sean said.

"But..." Padme tried to say.

"Leave." Sean said walking out as she held her mouth.

Later

"So you know the truth now." Anakin said to his wife.

"I can't believe the council would just...Brush off what he told them so carelessly. Their supposed to be a symbol of hope for everyone." Padme said.

"They used to be." Anakin said.

"Thats why you've been avoiding Obi-Wan haven't you? You know what he did." Padme said.

"He wasn't part of the groups that humiliated or beat him like Piel did. But he didn't help him either. He just did nothing. Which is even worse." Anakin said.

"There had to be some who listened to him." Padme said.

"Only one. Master Qui-Gon suggested looking over the data warning them that what if he was right and they were wrong. It was enough to at least make them look but by then he already left. And took all his data with him. And after that the Military council on Earth was told everything. They were furious. Ended all ties with the Republic after that. And now we're in the mess we're in now because of them." Anakin said.

"There has to be a way he'll agree to help the Republic and the rest of the galaxy." Padme said.

"I don't know how you're gonna be able to convince him since I doubt he's that willing to work beside the Jedi." Anakin said.

Later

"So they still refuse to help?" Palpatine asked.

"I...Learned something about why that is." Padme said with the Jedi present in the Senate making them frown.

"Oh? And what is their reason for being selfish and not helping the rest of us?" A senator asked arrogantly.

"Their not being selfish it's...Anger they hold towards the Jedi for something that happened." Padme said.

"And what exactly happened?" Organa asked.

"That information is private." Kenobi said quickly.

"What? You won't let them know the truth?" Padme asked in shock.

"Senator. If that information becomes public knowledge the galaxy will never trust us ever again." Mace said.

"People are dying because of what you did. And you don't have the decency to admit what you did?" Padme asked frowning before an alert appeared.

"What is it?" Senator Chuchi asked.

"It's...From Earth. Perhaps they've finally agreed to a peaceful negotiation." Palpatine said opening communications before Sean appeared in hologram form.

"Chancellor Palpatine. I'm here on the behalf of the Military council of Earth. There have been several requests for us to rejoin to help fight the Kaiju as I call them." Sean said making the Jedi frown.

"A fitting name my young friend. Now tell us why wouldn't you rejoin the Republic in this time of need?" Palpatine asked making him glare at the Jedi.

"Because of them." Sean said pointing at the Jedi shocking the senate.

"Sean...Please don't do this." Kenobi said.

"Oh no. You're not getting out of this so easily like you did last time." Sean said.

"Might I ask what your issues with the order are?" Organa asked.

"I used to be a Jedi 15 years ago." Sean said surprising them.

"Used to be?" Mas asked.

"15 years ago I was considered a prodigy of the order. I made technology so advanced it helped me earn my rank." Sean said.

"So why did you leave?" Palpatine asked.

"Because I knew this was gonna happen 15 years ago." Sean said shocking them all.

"YOU KNEW THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN!" A senator roared in rage.

"Oh yes. I discovered the breach 15 years ago. An act of chance if you will." Sean said.

"Then why didn't you warn us!" Another yelled.

"I tried." Sean said shocking them.

"Tried?" Mon Mothma asked.

"I tried to warn the Jedi Council about this 15 years ago." Sean said making the Jedi frown as everyone glared.

"You knew this was gonna happen?" A senator asked.

"It's not that simple." Kenobi said.

"Oh yes it is. You're not getting out of this that easy. I told them everything...And they didn't believe me. I tried to convince them but they thought I was wrong. So they humiliated me, Ridiculed me...Beat me." Sean said showing a scar on the right side of his head shocking the Senate.

"Is this true?" Palpatine asked making them sigh.

"Yes...But the beatings was all Piel's doing not the council's. That was not what we wanted. We just wanted him to stop since at the time it sounded absurd. Monsters coming from another galaxy to here? Would anyone actually believe that?" Mace asked.

"We would have at least looked over the data." Organa said shocked by how casually they brushed this off.

"And they blacklisted me from ever going near the Senate since as Piel so kindly said. They didn't want to look like lunatics. I left 15 years ago and told the Military council on Earth. And they had the brains to at least look over the data." Sean said.

"YOU JEDI HAVE DOOMED US ALL!" A senator roared getting an uproar from the senate.

"We never meant for this to happen. We just didn't believe what he said...It sounded absurd at the time." Kenobi said.

"Well, look who's laughing now." Sean said.

"Please my friend. You must at least help us." Palpatine said.

"The Millitary council is...Willing to have some talks about helping the galaxy since they've been bombarded with requests for aid. Theres a meeting in three days In the State of Florida New Miami. Thats where our talks will commence." Sean said glaring at the Jedi before ending his transmission as the Senate roared at the Jedi.

Later

"He has just completely damaged the image of the Order with this stunt!" Piel yelled outraged.

"It's what we deserve. We couldn't keep this secret forever." Plo said.

"But this will damage the reputation of the order for centuries. No one will ever trust again. Not with their children or anything ever again. It will take forever to repair." Koth said.

"Reputation...Not important. A grave mistake we have made. Forced this on ourselves, We have." Yoda said in regret.

"Sean has every right to be angry at us. He warned us this was gonna happen and we ignored it. And now we're paying the price. That is on us. Not him or anyone else out there." Fisto said.

"At least he's willing to talk about helping the rest of the galaxy." Adi said.

"Is he? How do we know this isn't some trap to further damage the order?" Piel asked.

"If he wanted to damage the order further he would have revealed something else during that meeting. He didn't meaning he doesn't care." Shaak Ti said.

"Sean may have a grudge against us but he's not gonna make lies about us. Everything he's said has been complete truth. We are the cause for countless deaths in this Kaiju war." Kenobi said.

"But now the younger generation aren't listening to us anymore. They're questioning every decision we make now." Piel said.

"Maybe thats a good thing. Proves the next generation for the council won't make the same mistakes we did. And the fresh start in repairing the image of the order." Mundi said.

"One can hope." Kenobi said as they left while Piel frowned.

Later

Sean frowned seeing the Jedi again while Pentecost was talking with Palpatine and Dooku.

"It's been a long time Sean."

Sean blinked before seeing a blue skinned Twe'lik with brown eyes.

"Aayla." Sean said making her smile.

"It's good to see you." Aayla said making him smile back.

"Daddy." Sam said tugging his leg.

"Uh this is my daughter Samantha." Sean said picking her up.

"Hi." Sam said making her giggle taking her.

"I can see she's your's from the eyes. Who's her mother?" Aayla asked.

"Uh her name was Kiva Andru." Sean said making her frown.

"Was?" Aayla asked making him sigh.

"She passed away last year...You can thank Mundi for that." Sean said glaring at him.

"What does he have to do with this?" Aayla asked.

"You remember he was in charge of the medical community for a time tasking them to finding cures for diseases across the galaxy?" Sean asked.

"Yes?" Aayla asked.

"He chose the easier and non lethal diseases over the more concerning and rare ones since it's well known he didn't want to be in that position at the time. Because of him my wife was infected with a very rare disease that at the time had no cure. Not until after she died. If he had been less selfish she could have survived but no. He wanted out of that position as quickly as possible and chose the easy path." Sean said.

"I see." Aayla said seeing the Order continued to make things difficult for him and everyone.

"So how have you been?" Sean asked making her smile.

"All right. I'm mostly glad the Clone wars finally ended peacefully and focused on a true threat." Aayla said.

"Hmm." Sean said.

"Come on you." Turok said taking his niece.

"Aww." Sam said making them chuckle.

"I'll take her back home." Turok said.

"Ok see ya later little brother." Sean said as the two left.

"You never said you had a brother." Aayla said.

"I didn't...Not until 10 years ago. I'll explain later." Sean said not seeing Piel who glared at him.

"I will not stand by while that boy ruins our order just because he holds a grudge." Piel said as Pong Krell stood behind him.

"What do you want me to do?" Krell asked.

"I want you to find his daughter and this brother of his. And bring them to Coruscant. We'll make him give into all our demands. Starting with restoring the image of the order." Piel said making him nod as he and a few left.

Later

"Now that we're all here we must discuss earth's role in the war against the Kaiju." Palpatine said.

"How is it you made such effective weapons against them?" Organa asked Sean.

"Easy. I had 15 years to do so. I could have helped everyone in the galaxy as well if some people didn't prevent me from doing so." Sean said glaring at them.

"We made a mistake. It was wrong of us to ignore your warning but you have to admit it sounded absurd." Kenobi said.

"Says the bastard who did nothing as I was beaten right in front of him." Sean said making him sigh remembering that day. He didn't do anything to him but neither did he help since he didn't believe his warning like the others who ignored him. The only one who believed him was his former master and Aayla but Sean kept her out of it not wanting her to be treated the same way.

"That was a long time ago." Kenobi said.

"Not long enough." Sean said showing his scar.

"Regardless of what happened you're the only one who can help us." Dooku said. He had been on a long cover assignment during this event and never knew why he left but knew the council was hiding something.

"I know. The question is however though...What do I get out of it?" Sean asked shocking them.

"Are you serious? You would want something in return?" Koth asked.

"Your asking me to hand over the most advanced technology in the galaxy to fight off an enemy that you know you can't defeat alone. Not to mention I got a bone to pick with a lot of Jedi for the things they did which led back to me." Sean said.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Mundi asked.

"You for starters. You were in charge of the medical research station 10 years ago. But you didn't want anything to do with it so to get out of it as quickly as possible you choose to have diseases that were hardly a concern to be cured over the more rare and deadly ones. One of which took the life of my wife last year." Sean said shocking him as the council glared at him.

"Is that true?" Mace asked narrowing his eyes.

"Well...I mean...I didn't want that position since I had more important matters on the council." Mundi said.

"Like what?" Sean asked making him sigh knowing he was in a corner. "Thats what I thought. Your selfishness cost the lives of innocent people including my wife. And now my daughter has to grow up without her...Because of you." Sean said making him hold his head down in shame.

"I'm sure Master Mundi never meant to be selfish but..." Luminara tried to say.

"Oh your one to talk. You're the reason Turok lost his family 10 years ago." Sean said shocking her. "If I recall correctly you were chasing a criminal from the Hutt cartel and a ship lost control. You had a good chance to land it on an empty platform. But did you? No. You landed it in a crowded one and several people got killed. Two of which were Turok's parents and instead of apologizing for what YOU did...You simple told him the force would be with him. How's that gonna help a three year old survive on his own?" Sean asked making her widen her eyes as she looked away in shame.

"Seems the Jedi cause more problems than their worth." Pentecost said.

"Now wait just a minute here. It's not like we're doing so on purpose." Koth said.

"You shut up. I don't wanna hear that from a fuck head who ridiculed me the most and said I was a disgrace to the Jedi." Sean said making him sigh.

"I see Master Piel was right. You just want to humiliate us further." Koth said.

Only for Sean to punch him down much to his shock before he was pulled up.

"Say that again to my face. I'm not humiliating you. I'm exposing you. For all the talks of honor, Peace and balance...You sure have a lousy way of doing so. Your guided by arrogance." Sean said.

"Enough." Mace said.

"You stay out of this." Sean said.

"Sean, I know you're angry about what happened. But we need to put that aside for the greater good. Lives are on the line." Kenobi said.

"Of which could have been prevented if you just listened. But no. You all chose to be arrogant and said I was wrong without even looking at the data I tried to show you. And for what? Wheres the Logic in that? Sure it sounded crazy at the time I won't deny. But if someone else had said it I would have looked at the proof behind the claim. You guys didn't even try." Sean said.

"Because it sounded absolutely absurd." Koth said.

"Oh. Like the Star Forge from the days of the old Republic? Using energy from a star to make matter to build an entire armada of ships that nearly overran the old Republic?" Sean asked making him stutter. "Or how about the Sith lord who absorbed the force of an entire planet leaving it lifeless? Or the other things the Sith have done in the last 10,000 years?" Sean asked. (The first two happened in knights of the old Republic 1 and 2)

"I'm afraid Kruger is correct. After all if theres one thing the Sith are known for is making the impossible a reality." Dooku said.

"If thats possible anything should be believable." Sean said.

"Look we're getting off topic here." Organa said trying to prevent any violence.

"Agreed. Lets remain on the issue of the Kaiju." Palpatine said.

"Wait...Wheres Piel?" Sean asked concerned making the Jedi look seeing he was missing.

"Where are Krell and the other three?" Anakin asked making Sean frown as he left.

Meanwhile

Samantha whimpered as Turok was held by the neck by Krell.

"So your the brother of that failure. I shall enjoy torturing you." Krell said making him glare.

"KRELL!" Sean roared making him look seeing him with his old lightsaber which was a four bladed green lightsaber. (For those who've seen Teen Titans Episode Together picture the Lightsaber Control freak uses)

"I'm going to enjoy this." One of them said making him glare recognizing them as the ones who beat him 15 years ago making him growl as he charged in before cutting off the legs of one making him scream in pain before Sean cut the arms off another making him scream in shock.

"WHAT THE!" Krell yelled in shock as he blocked his strikes with difficulty as the other tried to attack him from behind.

Only for Sean to pull out a gun and shot him in the face killing him as he fell over as he glared at Krell.

Sean continued to fight against him having superior skills.

"How can you still be this good? You left 15 years ago!" Krell yelled before his bottom left arm was slashed off making him scream in pain.

"Just because I left doesn't mean I didn't keep up with my skills. You don't need to be a Jedi to wield a blade." Sean said before cutting off his other arms as he looked in shock as he glared at him.

"This...Is for the Scar." Sean said cutting his head off.

Piel was running to his ship when the Jedi stopped him.

"Master Piel." Mace said sternly making him growl before choking as he was lifted into the air.

"YOU!" Sean roared as he walked out with a look of rage. "First you beat me then you threaten my FAMILY!" Sean roared as he was in front of him as Piel looked fearful.

"I needed the humiliation you put on the order to stop!" Piel said.

"YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELVES!" Sean roared as Piel couldn't breathe.

"Sean thats enough." Mace said.

"Not yet." Sean said taking out a knife and slashed his face for a few seconds as he yelled in pain before he was dropped. "Just as you scared me...Now you will be reminded what your actions did forever." Sean said walking back home to his daughter and brother.

Inside he found Aayla comforting Sam as she cried in her chest making him frown.

Later

"There will be no alliance." Pentecost said.

"I know what Piel and the other four did was over the line but you must help us." Palpatine said.

"No. We can't trust either faction. The deal is off." Pentecost said as the military council left.

"I hope you're proud of yourselves." Anakin said Kenobi making him sigh as they began to leave.

"General Secura?" Mace asked seeing she stood by Sean before frowning at him.

"I'm not going back." Aayla said shocking them.

"But...The Republic Needs you." Kenobi said.

"No...I want nothing to do with an order that attacks innocent children. Never again." Aayla said.

"But..." Mundi said.

"Be gone." Sean said making them sigh as they left and took off.

"Why leave now?" Turok asked.

"I put up with what they did for 15 years hoping eventually they would change...But they haven't. I refuse to be in that kind of group." Aayla said making Sean smile.

"I'm glad you decided to stay." Sean said making her smile as he held her close as she held Sam. "Let's go home." Sean said as they walked back to the Estate.

Later

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!" Koth yelled at Piel who was chained.

"I...I wanted this nonsense against us to stop. It's not our fault this is all happening. Kruger is to blame." Piel said.

"How is he to blame?" Plo asked.

"He could have prevented all this. But he wants power and profit." Piel said.

"No. We chose to ignore his warnings 15 years ago. This is on us and us alone." Mace said.

"And now people will never trust again. Not after that. Now all they see us is nothing more than thugs who do whatever they please. The peace talks failed because of you. And now we lost another promising Jedi." Shaak Ti said.

"What?" Piel asked.

"Secura left the order because of this. Though I'm not surprised. Sean and her were always close in their younger years." Kenobi said.

"The fate of the galaxy...Uncertain now is." Yoda said.

Author's note: Again I don't hate any Jedi other than Krell for obvious reasons. I just like mixing things up. Now next Chapter is gonna be the most intense and Sean gets a visit from an unlikely old friend. And the harem list. I decided to go with only 5 girls in this. And no Ahsoka won't be in it since she's 14 in this and Sean's 25. I have someone else in mind for her. Read, Review, Fav and Follow. REVIEW MY LOYAL FANS! SEE YA!
