It's dark. I feel somehow—well—muffled. As if I'm in a cloud. A strange noise reaches my ear—again and again. I can't categorise it, I can't even tell where it's coming from. Slowly it becomes clearer, it's a whimper. Wait no, there are several. It doesn't sound frightened, more excited.
Something touches my head. What is that? It feels strange, but somehow also good.
The whimper sounds far away and what's on my head feels like it's not on my head. Everything is strange and peculiar. Nevertheless, I feel incredibly warm, not only physically but also deep inside me. Everything is good, that's exactly how it feels. Everything is good ... I can't think or feel anything else right now, I don't want to feel anything else.
The thing on my head becomes more energetic. It runs through my hair with increasing pressure. I start to open my eyes, which I find incredibly difficult. I blink several times to clear the veil from my vision. My vision finally comes into focus and I see ...
Two brown fur balls?
They move around and seem as disorientated as I feel right now. They blink and stretch, whimper excitedly. I want to turn my head to see them better, but ... it's exhausting! How much does my head weigh?! My movement causes it to rustle beneath me. As I can't lift my head at the moment, I roll it slightly to one side. It's green underneath me and it smells wonderful. I can't put my finger on it, but it smells great!
Something wet suddenly runs down my face. Startled, I squeak and flinch.
"Well, Tiny?" a voice whispers through the fog of my perception. I turn my whole body as my head is still far too heavy. As I lie on my back, something moves into my field of vision. A blue animal looks at me lovingly and smiles.
All of a sudden I feel so incredibly warm again. I have no idea what kind of animal it is or why it is looking at me so dreamily, but I never want to leave here again, I want to stay with this blue creature—forever ...
