Yeah starting a new story. I got into Twisted Wonderland and decide to do my own story with OCS. Because either uses one OC or SI for this kind of fic and I decide to do something different.

A Bunch Of Teens Get Run Over

Haelth stuck her tongue out as she carved out a rune. One for light. This is done by drawing a large triangle in the circle with a smaller triangle and circle on top. Down the middle a long line with two smaller lines across, side by side within the large triangle. Once she was done she cleaned it up and looked at the old book that her mapa gave her. It's an old and ragged book, but Karaguri should reprint it after a while for her to read it. She has asked them if they could reprint it and they said they would. But they often forget. Maybe she should…

A hand clasped onto her shoulder, startling her.

"Oh sorry did I scare you?" Haelth's mapa, Karguri asked her.

Haelth shook her head, "Just surprised me, that's all. Next time I'll get the drop on you." Karaguri's mouth twitched up a bit.

"You can certainly try." Karaguri teased her. It's true, all the times Haelth tried to sneak up on her mapa she always got caught by them. One day…

"Are those runes done?" Karaguri asks her, red eyes screening her workshop. Haelth held up the bag of runes she made. Karaguri grabs the bag and looks at each one closely. Haelth got up from her seat and clasped her hand behind her back as she waits to see their approval.

"Better," Haelth beams, "But you still need to work on making a straight line." Haelth's eyebrow twitches.

"Hey! I did the best I could!" Haelth defends herself the best she could but Karaguri frowned.

"Well you have gotten better, but you still need to improve." Haelth's face fell and Karaguri's gaze softened, "I know you're trying your best but the only reason I'm pushing you is so you toughen up. People in this world can be cruel at times Haelth." Haelth sighed, she heard this a million times already.

"Yeah, I know. I know." She sighed and then the door burst open making her jump.

"Hey boss," Karaguri and Haelth turn around to see Scott standing at the door. He had curly hair, dark skin, and green eyes. He was wearing dark clothes which contrast Haelth's brown jacket, black shirt, and jeans, "There's a problem with a customer." Karaguri sighed and rubbed their temple.

"I will be right out there," Karaguri said as they walked past Scott and out the door. Scott walked toward Haelth who was starting to look nervous.

"Did you get the book?" He asks her. Haelth shook her head.

"Not yet. We have been so busy as of late and Karaguri keeps on forgetting" Haelth has a sheepish expression on her face. Scott narrows his green eyes at her.

"This is cutting it close. We need that book for the game tonight! You already hyped it up for Melody and that's not cool." He pointed out to her. Haelth looks down.

"Yeah, you're right… I'll ask them today." She promised and Scott sighs.

"Why don't you just take it?" He told her. Haelth's eyes widen at that idea.

"T-take it?!" She almost shouts at him but stops and then whispers, "I can't steal from mapa! If something happens they'll kill me." Scott shook his head.

"No, they won't. Besides, it's only for one day and you said Karaguri barely looks at it. We'll return it first thing tomorrow and nothing will happen." He explains. Haelth rubbed her chin in thought. It does sound like a good idea…

"Ok, but we have to return first thing tomorrow. Now get moving or Karaguri will come back." She shooed him away. Scott nodded and walked out the door.

"Ok just let me know what you want to do." With that, he left her and Haelth looked at the book and then put it in her backpack. It was only one night…

She walked out to see what was going on. And she saw her other friend Melody arguing with a customer with Karaguri trying to be an ambassador.

"I WILL NOT HONOR THIS COUPON! IT EXPIRED A MONTH AGO AND IT'S FOR THE WRONG STORE!" Melody yelled, their blue eyes narrowing at a middle-aged lady who was red in the face.

"I GOT IT FROM YOUR STORE! JUST TAKE YOU YOU UNGRANC-" Karaguri got between Melody and the customer.

"I'll handle this. Kris," They peek up, " your shift ended anyway. Go home." Melody grin. They may be known as Melody among friends, family, and fans. But Karaguri always calls them by their real name Kris. Mostly because they don't get the nickname or have a different identity for streaming. Melody doesn't mind because Karaguri doesn't get technology.

"Sweet!" They got up and walk to where Scott and Haelth were. The woman was about to tell them off but one look from Karaguri shut her up. Haelth can't blame her. Karaguri does look scary from an outsider's point of view. Tall, black hair, red eyes and covered in scars. People were surprised that Haelth and Karaguri are daughters and parents because she has tan skin, blue eyes, red hair with blue tips, and was small. Whilst Karaguri is the opposite of her.

"Have a good day sir," Scott said before he caught up with Melody.

"Have a good day mapa!" Haelth shouted and turned to catch up with the others.

"Haelth," She stops and gulps thinking she got caught. She turns to her mapa.

"Remember to stay safe and don't bring home any more stray cats," they told her. Her eyes widen and then narrowed.

"One time! One time I did that and you never let it go!" She points a finger at them.

"It was 20 cats!"

"What did want me to do?! Leave them on the side of the road?" Before Karaguri can respond the lady chimes in.

"Can we please get back to my coupon?" Before Karaguri can answer her, Haelth rushed to the door.

"GoodbyemapaIloveyou!" She slams the door.

"Hey!"

"Excuse me but back to my coupon!"

Haelth, Scott, and Melody all walked to Susie's house. Susie's house was closer to the forest than other areas. Susie sometimes uses that to bring all sorts of cool stuff to her home. Whether it be plants or some small animal. Her mom and stepdad don't mind much as long as she puts it back. Sometimes she did but other times she showed off to her friends. Haelth sometimes keeps it and Oliver sometimes does so too if he thinks it's pretty. Melody shows them off on livestream sometimes and Scott never keeps them.

Melody knocks at the door. The door opened a crack and one green eye was looking at them. Once she realizes it's them Susie exclaims, "Oh, Melody!" The door closed and the sound of unlocking the door was heard. Then the door swings open.

"Welcome!" Susie said with a big smile which already complements her bright pink hair. Susie was pretty, "Have ye weathered travelers come to our game of-"

Melody cut her off.

"Sorry but we don't have time, we have to get to the mall. Is Oliver here?" They ask her.

"Right here!" Oliver's voice calls out. Susie opens the door wide and Oliver pops out. He was wearing a stylized black shirt and jeans. He also wears sunglasses but it is more for medical reasons than style choice because he was albino.

"Come on you two! Haelth finally got the book," Melody told them. Both of them look surprised Oliver pulls down his glasses to look her straight in the eye.

"Is this true?" Haelth looks then at Scott and then back at Haelth. Haelth gulped and looked at Scott making a gesture of his hand to go on.

"U-um yeah! Karaguri let me have the books!" She explains. She thought from the blank look that she was getting from Oliver and Susie that they knew the truth. Oliver broke out with a grin.

"That's awesome!" He exclaims. Susie smiled too and Haelth let out a sigh of relief.

"I didn't think Karaguri would give you that! They always seem strict to me." Susie gushes and Haelth gulps and looks at Scott who looks away.

"Y-yeah! After I kept asking they caved in," Haelth lied. Susie seems to buy it.

"That's great!" She exclaims. Oliver looks at her with a suspicious look before shrugging it off. Haelth gave a mental sigh in relief.

"So the bus for the mall is coming soon so we better head down there," Susie points out.

"Then let's go!" Melody rushed past them. Oliver closed the door behind him. Melody leads them to the bus stop with Susie and Oliver close behind them. Haelth sticks in the back with Scott.

"You got to get better at lying," Scott whispers to her. Haelth glares at him.

"I'm trying but Oliver is sharper than he looks," She pointedly glared at Oliver who had his back turned on them, "But we'll just read the book, use it for the game and then bring it back." She told him. They all finally got up to the bus stop. It's a simple bus stop with just a bench. Like everything, it was empty because everyone was either at home, at work, or just hanging out in the mall.

"So how long till the bus will be here?" Haelth asked Susie as she caught up with her.

"Not yet," She answers. They stand there in silence a moment before Oliver asks Haelth.

"Is ok if I see the book?" Haelth blinked in surprise at that request.

"Umm," She locked eyes with Scott who nodded.

"Sure," She pulls out the book. Oliver touches the cover and feels it.

"This is…old," He said, turning the book around to its back and back to the front and opening a random page. Haelth giggled and opened the book.

"Karaguri said that they got the book from their father and it is written in an old language." She shows a page that is one of those old medieval pictures with many old words. Oliver narrowed his eyes and took a closer look.

"Do you know what this language is?" Before she could answer him she heard Susie call out.

"I think there's a bus!" Oliver's and Haelth's heads snapped up and got back with it. Oliver left to join the others and Haelth puts her book away before joining him. She peeks out from behind the group.

Clop!

Clop!

Clop!

"Ummm…guys that don't sound like a BUS!" Haelth screamed at the end because a black carriage come in barreling toward them like a bus.

SLAM!

Looking back on it she guessed that Susie was sort of right; it did feel like a bus hit her.

The first thing Haelth saw when she woke up was darkness. So she thought it was still night out so she was going to go back to bed until she heard a voice.

"Urgh... This lid weighs a ton!" Haelth's eyebrow twitches, was one of her siblings trying to wake her up again? Don't they know it's the weekend! Oh, they're going to pay!

"Try this on for size! Mya-ha!" The room suddenly got 20 times hotter. She opens her eyes and sees darkness and is stuck in something. She didn't know what it was but it was a size big enough for her and wooden. Panicking she knocks on the wooden door in front of her.

"Let me out!" To her surprise, it swings open easily and she jumps out.

"OUCH!" She hears someone yelp, followed by a soft thump sound. Haelth peeks behind the to see…

"Oh my gosh!" Two blue eyes blink at her as they rub their forehead which is red from where the door hit them, "A cat!" Before the feline could do anything, Haelth picks them up and hugs them close.

"You are so cute!" The feline blinks in surprise and then glares at her.

"I'm not cute!" He shouts in a boyish voice. He then slips out of Haelth's hold and points at her, "I'm the Great Grim. The future greatest mage that has ever lived! Now gimme your clothes." Haelth blinks and that's when she saw the floating coffins.

"Wait what?!" Haelth jumps in shock at the sight accidentally knocking the cat off balance.

"Hey what's the big idea?!" The cat shouts but Haelth didn't hear him. She was busy looking around this big church-like building that they were in.

"Hey!" Grim shouts again louder this time and Haelth looked down at him this time, "Pay attention!" Then she notices that his ears were on fire. That's when the evidence suddenly clicked.

"Oh! I must be dreaming!" She exclaims much to the shock of Grim.

"What-? No! You are not drea-" He was cut off by Haelth picking him up.

"If this is a dream then maybe if I follow through with it I'll wake up! So what do you want, pretty little cat," She said in a cute voice.

"I-" A lightbulb got off in his head, "Actually yes. And the way to get out of this dream is to give me your robes." He tugs on her sleeve.

"My… robes?" She looks down at the robes and finally notices them. It was dark as night and inside was purple. To top it off it has golden symbols on the inside and golden trim, "Oh ok," Grim's eyes lit up as Haelth grabs the ropes around her waist but she stops.

"Wait, how can you fit into it?" Grim's face fell.

"What?"

"Well I'm bigger than you, and these clothes fit me. They might be too big for you," Haelth explains to the feline. Grim's ear flicks and his gaze wavers a bit.

"W-well I um," Grim shook his head, "T-that doesn't matter just give me the robes." He orders her but before Haelth could counter-argue she is grabbed from behind.

"I got her!"

Wait. Haelth knows the voice!

"Melody!"

"No time to talk! Let's get out of here!" They swig her over their shoulders. And start to book it.

"Hey!" Grim shouts as he chases after them. Those blue flames on his ears glow brighter…

"Over here!" Susie holds the door open. Medley ran down the room and turned toward the door.

"YOU TWO ARE NOT GETTING AWAY!" Grim spat and a blue fireball hauled at them as Melody turned. And the heat from the flame almost touched Haelth and that's when it hit her.

This is not a dream.

"YOU AREN'T-" The slams before Grim could finish and run headfirst into the door.

Thud!

He growled and swung open the door.

"Will Haelth Francis come forward?"

Silence.

"Haelth Francis please step forward." Still nothing. Students talk and whisper to themselves. The one who called out to the missing student frowned and turned to one of the robed figures, "Ashengrotto, would you stand here in my place as I look for the missing student?" He held a list to the other robe figure.

"Of course Headmaster Cowley!" Ashengrotto exclaimed as he grabbed the list. The others wearing robe whisper, and some snicker to themselves at others.

"Will the student, Mr. Jack Howl, come forward?"

The Headmaster nodded and headed to the door. Which he opens and closes with a click.

"Now where are you?"
