Prologue Part 1: Introduction

The Enchanted Kingdom, or so it was named, was supposed to be a symbol of ever lasting peace. It was supposed to reflect a period of hope, a period of love, a period where dreams prevailed. Many lived there with stories of sweet happenings and happy endings, sure that the endings would always be happy and others could always look on for their own.

The takeover of the Enchanted Kingdom was gradual, a couple of bad apples in the bunch, and a not-so-small inciting incident that shook the higher ups and sent ripples through the leadership. The world outside the kingdom was in shambles. A major shakeup meant that those in the Enchanted Kingdom would be isolated, but allowed to live.

Yet the catalyst for the shake up, the one they named despair, managed to sneak in.

Of all the games despair could play in the battle against hope, this is one of them.
