#29- A Tyrant's End!
Hyguard, City Dungeons
Marinette was sitting peacefully in her cell, she didn't know why she was there, but she didn't wan't to start trouble.
Two guards soon came, with Guildmaster Izzy with them.
"Well? Release her!" he snapped.
The guards released her as ordered, and Marinette walked out.
"I am so sorry, Gabriel didn't take his son losing to you very well, come, i want you to be present when Gabriel's world comes crashing down..." Izzy said.
Hyguard City hall, Council Room.
"You released her?" growled Gabriel.
"She did nothing wrong!" growled Lord Davis.
"She crippled my son!" Gabriel protested.
"In legal combat!" said Lord Veemon.
"She's a threat to the city, she should be clapped in Iron, made an example of!" Gabriel growled.
"She and her party have defeated 2 of the Demon King's Generals, she is a decendent of the 6 Legendary Heroes, to punish her would be sacrilige!" Lady Bustier explained.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" roared Gabriel, "I am the head of this council, and you will head me!"
"Then perhaps a change is needed..." said Davis as Izzy and Marinette entered, "I, Lord Davis Motomya move that Gabriel be removed from office, Guard Captain Raincorprix will take his place."
"I Lord Veemon agree to this." the little dragonfolk said.
"I, Lady Juleka agree to this."
"I Lady Bustier agree to this.
"I Lord Izzy agree to this."
"This can't be..." Gabriel said.
"It is decided then, guards, please escort Lord Agreste out of the building, gently..." said Lady Juleka.
And with that, Gabriel's reign was over, as he cursed the council with every word he knew.
"Guildmaster Izzy, what now?" asked Marinette.
"Now, we do damage control and try to reclaim some level of sanity in this city..." said Izzy.
