Look's like I'm back. I might as well keep going, because for once, I was actually able to finish one of my projects! That's a milestone!

It may not have been an original story, but I still had a really good time writing Starhammer 50k. And it had a word count of almost 70,000 words! So why not continue?

In addition, I still have a whole year to figure out how to showcase my ideas for original stories on the Internet. While I have tried and failed to write a novel during NanoWrimo, and subsequently concluded that I didn't really want to write for a living, I'm still thinking about posting my ideas and novel concepts somewhere.

But anyways...

THE ULTIMATE SCIENCE FANTASY CROSSOVER RETURNS FOR A FANTASTIC FANFICTION SEQUEL!

Starhammer 50k: Wave 2

Read Wave 1 if you want to be familiar and caught up with what happens here!

Our last adventure concluded with Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano departing from Gordasha, after a catastrophic planetary siege that left one of the Republic's most productive industrial worlds in ruins. Fortunately, a clean-up operation has been initiated to repair Gordasha's infrastructure and hopefully return it to its former level of productivity.

Unfortunately, Anakin and Ahsoka have yet another mission on their hands, and another mystery to solve. To begin, they are trying to contact the Mechwarriors of House Anniera, members of a proud warrior society who have sworn their allegiance to defend the peace in the Republic, who ride into battle atop all manner of walking robotic war machines.

The Knights of Anniera have constantly been on the move since the Siege of Hoth, where an object of great importance was stolen, one which could indisputably turn the tides of the war. They managed to steal it back in the name of the Republic, and are now in charge of finding out how the relic works, and what it does.

However, just after Gordasha was liberated, Anakin received a prophetic Force vision that gave him the hidden truth that the Annieran nobles are seeking, information that changed everything, which would result in disaster if the enemies of the Republic acquired it.

Now Skywalker and Ahsoka are on a race against time to find the Knights and inform them of what they must do, before the vital intel falls into the wrong hands.

However, that's not going to be the focus of Season 2's first episode. While Anakin's quest continues, another story is waiting to be told... the tale of a young man who aspires to join the ranks of the Mechwarriors, and become a Knight of the Republic.

There are many sacred, elite brotherhoods of soldiers defending democracy in the multiverse, (including the Jedi Order,) and joining any of them requires being subjected to countless tests and trials, a rite of passage designed to separate the weak from the strong.

Once those devoted enough managed to pass all the necessary tests, they would then swear an oath, and say the Immortal Words... if you've read the beginning of Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series, you'll know what I'm referring to.

But basically, it's a common pattern, and a unifying motto, that all heroes should live up to.

This next chapter of SH50K will tell the story of a humble young servant, who dreams of doing great things, and following the ideal of the Immortal Words. He will have his resolve tested on his arduous journey, and he will have to learn to work with his fellow squires in training.

Our subject of the day is a fable of finding courage and seeking hope in hopeless places.

And although the road ahead is long... and the future is uncertain... there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.
