"Olivia Fucking Locke," Jack slurred, backing away as Livvie stood firmly at the door. "Thought I'd never see you haunting Port Charles again. It was better when you were gone."

Livvie crossed her arms, her gaze steady on Jack. "Jack, it's late," Chris tried to interject, but Jack silenced him with a sharp gesture.

"Chris, this is the spiteful bitch who wrecked our town, who shattered my heart!" Jack pointed accusingly at Livvie, his body shaking with rage.

Lucas, witnessing the confrontation, suddenly bolted from his chair, pushing Jack away from Livvie. "Quit talking about my mom like that!"

Livvie swiftly grabbed Lucas, her protective instincts kicking in. "Go to your room, Lucas. Now," she ordered, her tone leaving no room for argument. Lucas hesitated, then reluctantly left the room, casting a worried glance back at his mother and Jack.

Once he was gone; Livvie turned her head to face him with a fiery, unyielding presence; given their history, it only seemed fitting that he'd bring the absolute worst out of her, and she wouldn't hold back her true feelings. she confronted him, her words laced with years of unspoken pain and anger. "You're a drunken mess, Jack. you lost any right to judge me a long time ago!" Livvie spits out, her voice trembling with rage, an emotion she thought she'd turned off a long time ago.

ack, clouded by alcohol, let out a sarcastic laugh. "Always the victim, huh Livvie? Just like old times!" This provokes Livvie to the edge. She slaps Jack hard across the face. "I'm no one's victim! I haven't been that person in a long time," she retorts.

He's taken back; not just by the act of her slapping him but by the the food of memories and emotions it brings. Livvie, seizing control of the situation like she'd have done in the past, delivers a stabbing parting shot. "You think you can judge me, Jack? After all the shit you've pulled? You're just a pathetic, drunken fuck-up who can't deal with his own damned demons."

Her voice was venomous, each word a reflection of years of pent-up anger and resentment. "Jesus.." Chris quipped out. He'd seen the the poisoness between Jack and Livvie but it was on another level "Stay the hell away from me and my son. You're dead to me, Jack. Dead and fucking buried!"She exclaimed slamming the door leaving them both stunned on the doorstep. "fuck.." Jack managed to get out as Chris slowly pulled him away from the porch.

"You didn't have to say all of that to him." Lucas peered around the wall towards Livvie turned to face him. "I told you to go to your room." Lucas didn't move; he remained in the same spot. "That was him; wasn't it? My father." Livvie shook her head; walking away from him towards the kitchen. "Mom, please answer me! please!" Livvie stopped, staring blankly at the ugly wallpaper peeling from the corner of the living room wall.

Lucas' question hung in the air, pressing down on Livvie with the weight of a decade's worth of secrets. She hesitated, her internal struggle palpable. Telling the truth went against every instinct she had honed over the years, yet she knew it was time to confront her past.

"Yes, he is," Livvie finally said, her voice strained with the effort of honesty. "Your father and I... we've both made mistakes, Lucas. Big ones. I didn't tell you about him because I was trying to protect you – and maybe myself too."

Lucas absorbed her words, a mix of confusion and curiosity on his young face. "Can I meet him? Can I know him?"

Livvie's heart clenched. Admitting her own flaws to her son was harder than facing any of her past demons. "One day, maybe. But it's not safe right now, Lucas. Your father... he's dealing with a lot."

Meanwhile, across the street, Chris helped a stumbling Jack into his house. Jack's mind was a whirlwind of emotions, haunted by Livvie's harsh words and the revelations that shook his world.

"Damn it, Jack. You need to get your act together," Chris scolded, his voice laced with concern.

Jack slumped onto a couch, his thoughts clouded by alcohol and regret. "Livvie... she's back, Chris. After all these years. And she's not alone."

Chris eyed his brother warily, sensing there was more to the story. "What do you mean?"

Jack shook his head, trying to piece together his swirling thoughts. "There's a kid, Chris. Her kid. He's got her eyes..."

"Uh..yea, man; that's one unlucky kid! could you imagine how much she manipulates and uses that boy?" Chris asked while shaking his head. He'd made plenty of mistakes; and had used people to suit his own needs; but he couldn't fathom using a child.

Jack, his gaze distant and haunted, replied quietly, "It's not just that, Chris. There's something about him... something familiar." He paused, lost in thought.

Chris, misunderstanding Jack's introspection, clapped him on the shoulder. "Forget about her, Jack. Livvie's always been trouble. Focus on getting yourself together." He said before fixing his jacket; and walking out of the house.

Jack nodded slowly, but his mind was elsewhere, lingering on the brief encounter with Lucas. The resemblance, the timing of it all – it was too much to dismiss as mere coincidence.

"What do you mean; that you've made a lot of mistakes?" Lucas asked as Livvie slowly placed both of her hands on his shoulders. "I have done a lot of bad things when I was younger; and I hurt a lot of people; your father included; and let's just say that I don't have the best reputation in Port Charles."

"Oh yea; have you ever committed murder?" Lucas quipped; not entirely buying all of his mother's dramatics.

"Almost; though, it didn't really work out that way and in doing so; I lost something very dear to me." Livvie simply explained; recalling almost killing Frank; and trying to poison Alison and instead; accidently killing her unborn baby.

Lucas looked up at her, a mix of awe and uncertainty in his eyes. "That sounds... intense. Are you okay now?"

Livvie forced a smile, masking the turmoil inside. "I'm better now, Lucas. But that's why we need to be careful here. I've changed, but pople in Port Charles might not see that."

Lucas nodded, trying to understand the complexities of his mother's past. "I get it, Mom. But he's my dad. I want to know about him, the good and the bad."

Livvie sighed, knowing this was just the beginning of a journey that would unravel the many layers of their intertwined lives. "In time, Lucas. We'll figure this out together," she said, embracing him in a comforting hug as another knock occured on the door. "Lucas, please go to your room, it's late and you need to get some rest." She insisted.

"But mom, I.." He began as Livvie arched a browl. "Yes, mam." He groaned turning. "Thank you. I love you." She called out as he said it back. "Jack, I am going to kill you." She growled ripping the door open once again to reveal Chris with his hands clapped together. "It's like Michael Myers' is coming to kill me." Livvie grimaced as Chris walked past her. "I figured that we needed to have a conversation." Chris retorted as Livvie slowly but clearly annoyed, slammed the door.

"What were you thinking? Bringing the kid here? I got you out of town after you told me that you were pregnant; and you just what, return which could end with both of our asses being royally fucked?" Livvie crossed her arms. "I didn't know Jack was still here; and I didn't know you were still alive; but then again, evil doesn't die easily." She spat at him as her smirked. "touche."

"We may have another problem. Lucas knows that Jack is his father." Chris slowly closed his eyes; his frustration evident on his face. "What? How?" Chris asked. "I told him." Livvie admitted as Chris turned, his eyes wide with shock. "I am trying this new thing of being honest, Chris and I can't very well lie to my kids face; I already did that once and it didn't feel that great." She continued.

"Livvie, you are a phenomenal liar; what if Lucas tells Jack? then, we are both screwed and I have worked very hard to make amends with the people in this town, with Jack! If he finds out that I knew that he had a son, and i didn't say anything, I'm finished!"

Chris paced the room, his frustration evident. "Livvie, bringing Lucas here, telling him about Jack... do you realize the risk?"

Livvie, arms crossed, held a steely gaze. "I told him because he has a right to know his father. It's not about Jack or us. It's about Lucas."

"Telling Jack could blow everything up. We've both got a lot at stake here," Chris retorted, the wheels turning in his mind.

"Lying hasn't exactly worked out for us in the past, Chris," Livvie snapped back. "I'm done with that game. Lucas is what matters."

Chris sighed, knowing Livvie was right but worried about the repercussions. "We need to handle this delicately. If Jack finds out..."

"Then we deal with it," Livvie interjected. "But Lucas's needs come first. We'll figure out the rest."

They continued; unaware of Lucas ear glued to the crack in his bedroom door.
