Chapter 1: The Lightning and The Scarab

We see two blurs flying around a living room of a home with a long red haired, blue eyed woman wearing a white long sleeve and jeans can be seen in the middle of these two blurs, screaming in fear at the sight whilst on her knees, trying to steady herself with all the force flying around the room from these two blurs, one of the blurs being a streak of yellow lightning, containing a man in a red costume with a symbol on his chest with a yellow lightning bolt on it, whilst his opponent is the other streak of red lightning, mirroring his costume but in yellow fading into a dark black with a black symbol on his chest with a backwards red lightning bolt on top of it. These streaks of yellow and red lightning are known as the Flash and the Reverse Flash, both of them duking it out 1 on 1 at super speeds, suddenly a boy in a red button up pajamas and red pajama pants with short brown hair and blue eyes slowly walks up to witness the scene taking place, this boy's name is Barry Allen the son of the woman in the middle of the chaos, this woman's name being Nora Allen.

"Mom!" Barry shouts, walking towards Nora who holds an arm out while quickly shouting.

"Barry no! Get back!" Nora says as the two speedsters continue to brawl, the world around them moving in slow motion. The Reverse Flash throws a right hook that lands clean across the Flash's face, launching him back and leaving him open for a negative lightning enhanced punch that launches him onto the ground for the Reverse Flash who takes this chance to kick the flash in the gut before leaping at the young Barry Allen, only to be stopped by the Flash who narrowly kicks off the wall and slides under the Reverse Flash before punching him away, causing the man to flip over top of barry and land behind him, leaving him open for another punch that sends him flying into a wall before continuing there speedy bout, throwing countless punches and kicks while throwing each other around the room as Barry's father, Henry Allen, a man with short brown hair like Barry but with brown eyes instead of Barry's blue, runs to see all the commotion and widens his eyes.

"Nora, hold on!" Henry says before grabbing onto Barry and looking him dead in the eyes with worry. "Run, Barry, run!" Henry says to the young boy before being shoved over of the way at super speed by the Flash, knocking him unconscious on the floor as the Flash grabs barry and runs far away, leaving the boy confused on the street whilst the Reverse Flash, now angry at his failure, grabs a knife and walks up to the crying Nora Allen.

"Please don't hurt me…..no….no!" Nora screams as the Reverse flash stabs her in the heart with a knife before running off in a red streak of lightning, attempting to travel back to the future and entering a time rift before he starts to spark and slow down, widening his eyes as he trips and falls out of the rift, leaving him stranded at the year January 1st, 1988, a year before Barry Allen is born, the year Harrison Wells got engaged to Tess Morgan.

The Reverse Flash, also known as Eobard Thawne slowly gets up and looks at his hand where a hologram with a blue face appears. "Gideon, what's happening to me!?" Eobard asks the newly named blue face Gideon in confusion while panting in exhaustion.

"Your time jump with the Flash caused a massive drain on your powers, after your latest attempt to get back to the future your cells lost any trace of the speed force, leaving you stranded in the year January 1st, 1988 at 12 PM." Gideon says in a female AI voice, making Eobard widen his glowing red eyes in disbelief.

"That's impossible!" Eobard says, not wanting to believe the truth as the AI continues.

"Your ability to move at super speed as well as travel through time has been completely depleted." Gideon says to Eobard.

"How am I supposed to get back!?" Eobard asks the AI, worried at his potential fate.

"You can't." Gideon says before deactivating, causing Eobard to grip his fist in anger before yelling out a battle cry at the dead of night, leaving behind a trail of foggy breath from the cold as takes his cowl off, revealing a man with blonde hair and blue eyes as the Flash appearing behind him in a streak of yellow lightning, giving a clearer of his suit, revealing it to be a more armor-like suit with black as the main underpart of the suit, the suit has a red armored chest plate with a yellow circle that has a yellow lightning bolt on it, his back is also armored with the same armored plate minus the symbol where both it and the chest plate ends around his waist in a point where it cuts off back to the black part of the suit until reaching his legs where to his thigh to his boots can be seen covered in the same red armor as his chest and back plates differentiating themselves by having 2 yellow lines on each leg, one on the thigh just above the knee shaped like an arrow pointing up and one on the shins just above the ankles shaped like an arrow pointing down, on Flash's shoulders are two Identical red armored pauldrons with red armored braces around his forearms, he also wears armor plating around his knuckles, making his fists all the more deadlier than they already are, finally the most important part about the suit is the helmet, a red helmet with see through orange tinted lenses to protect his blue eyes when running at super speeds, connected to the edges of the lenses are two yellow lightning shaped lines that end around the back of the helmet, on the helmets sides are two grey circles with two straight yellow antenna's facing backwards, and finally to wrap this suits description up is the chin strap that connects the helmet to the neck piece of the suit. This suit is the Arkham/Kill The Justice League Version of the Flash Suit, I think it's the best Flash suit IMO. (This will be Barry's final suit and that's just how it is, if you don't like it cry about it.)

The Flash or more accurately, future Barry Allen walks up to Eobard, having followed him to this time period after dropping off young Barry on the street. "I don't understand, you saved yourself, and let me kill her instead, why?" Eobard asks in confusion, still panting while looking at Barry who knelt down to see Thawne eye to eye.

"I had no choice….." Barry says to Eobard, making him widen his eyes as the gears start to click in his head, looking at Barry in disbelief.

"Killing your mother….it's a fixed point…..you knew this was gonna happen, and now I'm stuck here, in a hell where I get to watch you be born and grow up! And become the hero that I should have been!" Eobard yells at Barry as he grits his teeth in anger, standing up from his knees alongside Barry while looking at him, angry at his defeat with resolve. "I swear, even if I have to tear the universe apart, I will find a way to destroy you, and everyone you love! Because from this moment forward, my life's work will be finding ways to kill you." Eobard says in anger, the flash giving him a solemn look in return.

"I know…and that night….tortured me…for decades, not anymore, because today I got to see my parents one last time….feel how much they loved me." Barry says, looking Thawne straight in the eyes as said man in the eyes, Thawne giving a confused look on his face.

"That night was the worst night of your life…..I know it…!" Thawne says with silent anger and confusion.

"And that day brought me the peace I've been looking for ever since, and that night….it gave me one of the closest friends I'll ever have. I have you to thank for that, Eobard, and I'll always be grateful." Barry says before feeling an intense pain, yelling at the feeling before being engulfed by blue lightning before disappearing, his pained yell echoing for Eobard to hear as he looks on in confusion.

"Closest friend? Flash you fool, you're gonna regret telling me that, because I'll do whatever it takes to destroy you, I don't care who I have to kill to do it!" Eobard yells to the empty street that the Flash once stood upon.

Timeskip - 5 days later

"Research laboratories unconnected to the government, or any of that kind of stuff. And then we'd build right downtown in the heart of the city, in the epicenter, and we become…..the heart of the city. We become the heart of the nation. We change the way you think about the sciences, and then-" A man with clear glasses and short black hair hair and blue eyes says before noticing his newly made fiance looking at him with a smile. This man's name is Harrison Wells. "What?" Harrison asks his fiance while looking at her in confusion, with said woman's smile brightening.

"Just that my father would have loved you….as much as I do." She says with a smile, getting a sigh out of Wells who smiles at her.

"Well, I wish….I could have met him." Harrison says before sighing again, finishing his drawing and handing it to his fiance.

"Oh, and what would you call these laboratories?" She asks Wells with a smile.

"Well, we, Tess Morgan, would call them The Technological Engineering Scientific Studies, or TESS, for short." Harrison says with a bright smile, getting one out of the newly named Tess.

"Well that is very, very sweet, but how about….Scientific and Technological Advanced Research, or….STAR Labs, for short?" Tess says, causing Wells to look at her with a smile of interest. "Because, in the vast night sky, you, Harrison Wells, are the only star I see." Tess says, causing Harrison to look at her with love while biting his lip.

"That's gonna get you kissed." Harrison says before getting up and scooting in front of Tess who begins to laugh, but unknown to them they are being watched from afar by none other than Eobard Thawne, who tilts his head in interest as he watches the two love birds go on with their day.

Timeskip - Nightfall

We see Harrison Wells and Tess Morgan in a car on there way home, not knowing the tragic events to come from Eobard Thawne who sits in the shadows under a tree waiting for the car to continue on it's path toward the spikes on the road, eventually hitting said spikes and making the car swerve around before flipping over, coming to a halt before beginning to steam. "It's about damn time, let's get this show on the road." Eobard says before walking toward the crashed car.

Inside the flipped vehicle Wells takes a gasp of air and looks up to see Tess hanging upside down, her eyes closed and a bleeding injury on her forehead. "No…no….no, Tess! Tess! Tess! Oh no, Oh no! Tess! Tess!" Harrison says, trying to call out to his unconscious fiance before noticing Thawne's shoes, widening his eyes in hope and relief. "Oh, thank God, you gotta help me, please help me! Oh." Harrison says as Thawne leans down to look at Tess, noticing her unconscious state alongside her minor injuries and rolling his eyes at Well's panic. "She's-she's….." Harrison says before looking at Eobard with a confused and panicked look, watching as Thawne looks over Tess's unconscious body. "What are you doing...? What are you doing!? Help, call someone! Call anyone! Can't you see she's dying!?" Harrison says in a panic as Thawne looks at him uninterested.

"She's not dead, just unconscious, her wounds aren't fatal but I wouldn't be worrying about her right now, as far as I'm concerned, this woman has been dead for centuries." Eobard says to Wells, confusing him and widening his eyes as he watches Thawne vibrate his arms, phasing them through the car and phasing the unconscious Tess out of it before laying her on the ground before walking over to Wells's side slowly.

"Wha-What the hell!? S-someone, someone help!" Harrison yells before struggling to get out of the car, making his way out little by little, climbing out and groaning in pain before looking up at Thawne who grabs him and pulls him up before throwing him to the side. "Wh-Wh-Who are you…..and how did you do that, what did you do to Tess!?" Harrison says, looking up at Thawne who squats down to meet Wells at eye level, looking down upon the injured man in interest.

"My name is Eobard Thawne, but that name doesn't matter, as well as what I did. Not anymore, it won't matter for many years. The only thing that really matters, is who you are, Harrison Wells." Eobard says to the confused man who looks up at him like he's crazy.

"How…..what are you talking about? I don't understand." Harrison says, looking around for an answer whilst Thawne continues to speak while pulling out a silver square looking device.

"In the year 2020, you and your…..well I should say now, my wife, Tess Morgan, successfully launched a Particle Accelerator that changed the course of history, I need to happen a bit sooner if I'm going to get back. Much sooner." Eobard says while fiddling with the device before standing up, causing Wells to look up at Thawne in confusion whilst taking in this information.

"What is that…?" Harrison says before Thawne presses a button on the device.

"My way home." Eobard says before smiling as a needle-like object comes out of the square device as well as from hearing sirens in the background from an ambulance. "You see, they're not coming to save you." Eobard says whilst Wells struggles to get on his knees before Thawne extracts a cord from the square shaped device before looking at Wells. "They're coming to save me and my new soon to be wife." Eobard says before injecting the cords needle into Wells, forcing him to let out a pained grunt before Thawne widens his eyes in preparation, letting out a breath to prepare himself for his soon to be genetic altercation before injecting the other cord into himself, causing his face to start morphing alongside Wells's face that starts to decay, both of them letting out pained grunts, with Wells's being more of a yell though. Wells's now dead and very shriveled purple body stops screaming before falling onto the ground, the needle now dangling from the square device in Thawne's hand as his new and more youthful appearance settling in alongside young Wells's DNA mixing in with his own, altering his and Wells genetic code to be a combination of the two, leaving Eobard Thawne with his speed whilst having the appearance of Harrison Wells alongside said man's voice. "Well, let's hope I never have to do that again, sorry Harrison Wells. I hate to kill off such a brilliant mind but I need to get home and besides, you've been dead for centuries." Eobard says to the corpse of Harrison Wells, using his name one last time for many years to come before using his speed to quickly bury Wells body nearby before returning to the accident, picking up Tess and laying her on the ground near him before acting as a cop car pulls up with two officers getting out of the car and running up to the flipped car, Thawne, now known as Wells pulls himself up slowly while faking grunts of pain.

"Sir, we're gonna get you out of here. Can you tell me your name? Do you know who you are?" The female cop asks the new Wells who looks up at her.

"My name…is…Harrison Wells…." Wells says softly as the other cop checks on Tess behind him.

"Oh good, she's still alive, she has a few minor injuries but she'll make a full recovery, do you know this woman, Harrison?" The male cop asks, causing Wells to turn and look at him with a fake soft smile of relief.

"Yes…her name is Tess Morgan…..and she's…my fiance…..thank god she's ok….I-I don't know what I would have done…." Wells says with fake relief as an ambulance arrives, taking both supposed victims away.

Timeskip - 26 years later

We see a young man at the age of 25 with black hair and blonde bangs cut in the DXD Azazel style as well as blue eyes sitting in a chair in front of a large cage with a big male gorilla in it, looking at him in interest as it watches said young make throw an apple up and down over and over, getting a small chuckle out of the young man who smiles at the gorilla who looks at the apple in desire. "You want this Grodd?" Naruto our main character of this story says to the newly named Grodd who nods his head at comedic speeds causing Naruto to chuckle before throwing the fresh apple in the cage for Grodd to start devouring whilst Naruto walks over to a mirror on a wall of his office, checking and adjusting his black jacket and white button up dress shirt, matching the man who comes up behind him, making Naruto smile warmly seeing his father Harrison Wells in the reflection of the mirror, turning around and looking at him to see his fathers proud smile.

"I've spent 25 long years raising you Naruto, and I must say, I've never been prouder to see the man that you have become." Wells says with a genuine warm smile while looking upon his son who stands at the same height as him around 6 foot, looking him eye to eye with a smile, causing Naruto to smile at his father warmly.

"Yeah….I know….I just wish she was here to see this day, the day where STAR Labs changes the world." Naruto says with a grin, causing Wells's smile to deepen.

"Your mother gave up her life to bring you into this world, that was both the best and worst day of my life, I loved your mother so much and I know if she were here right now, she'd be as proud of you son." Wells says with a genuine smile that causes Naruto to hug him, catching him by surprise, not expecting the sudden gesture.

"Thanks dad….for everything….I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for you….I'm glad you're finally going to achieve your dream, I wish I could say the same thing though, I mean I've tried to get this thing working and I still can't figure it out." Naruto says with a sad smile, pulling out a blue and gold object shaped like a beetle that causes Wells to smile brightly at his son.

"Ah, you're still trying to get that Scarab working, we found that thing in a meteorite when you were a kid, it was pretty damaged when we found it, how did you fix it when we don't even have the technology advancements to do it?" Wells says in curiosity as he looks at the object.

"That's the thing, I didn't fix it, all I did was take care of it and keep it in peak condition, it seems to have fixed itself on its own everytime I'm near it, it's like it's alive and feeding off the life signs I give off each day to heal itself." Naruto says, catching Wells attention

"Like a symbiotic relationship, interesting, after this we should definitely run some tests on it to see what's going on with it, just for safe keepings." Wells says with a smile as Naruto nods.

"Yeah it's probably better that we know what we're dealing with when it comes to alien tech, heh."

"Ok kid, let's get a move on, we wouldn't want to keep your soon to be fiance waiting too long right?" Wells jokingly says, getting a flustered look out of his son, smiling cheekily before laughing alongside Grodd in the cage before walking away, heading for the STAR Labs entrance with Naruto giving Grodd a what the fuck look, causing the gorilla to shrug and chuckle. "Better hurry son, or I'll tell Dr. Snow myself!" Wells jokingly yells with mischief in his voice, causing Naruto's eyes to widen in a panic before running after him, putting the Blue Scarab in his coat pocket as it begins to glow a bit.

"You better not! I've been waiting 3 years to ask Caitlin to marry me and I'm not gonna miss my chance now, you may be my dad but I'll still kick your ass!" Naruto yells, chasing after Wells who began to run normally.

"You gotta catch me first kid!" Wells says cockily, bringing out Naruto's competitive side in the process.

"Oh it's on, old man!" Naruto says with a grin, chasing after his father while laughing alongside his father.

Timeskip - 10 minutes later

"You ready to take your first big step and reveal yourself to the world?" Wells says to his son who smiles at him.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Naruto replies with a smirk as Wells begins to walk, gesturing Naruto to follow in behind him as the crowd in front of STAR Labs starts to cheer and applaud Wells's entrance, the man walking up to the podium as Naruto takes his spot next to his girlfriend Caitlin Snow, a long haired brunette with brown eyes wearing a tan dress coat with a white buttoned up undershirt as well as a blue under under shirt and heels. "My my Dr. Snow, you're looking as beautiful as ever today." Naruto says with a playful smile, causing Caitlin to blush a little whilst smiling back warmly.

"And you look just as handsome, if not more." Caitlin says, causing Naruto to smile warmly at her before moving his attention to his father on the mic.

"Thank you, my name is Harrison Wells. Tonight, the future begins, the work my team and I will do here, will change our understanding of physics we'll bring about advancements in power, advancements in medicine, and most of all, advancements in legacy, and trust me that future will be faster than you think, may I present to you, the people of Central City, my legacy, here's to the future, please welcome, my son of 25 years of age, Naruto Wells!" Wells says with a bright smile, gesturing Naruto to come over, widening the eyes of the crowd in excitement from this new development, going ham at this new revelation with cheers and applause.

"Thank you, thank you, it's honor to be here in front of you all, as I'm sure you heard my name is Naruto Wells, and I'm the son of Harrison Wells, the amazing man who has brought this day to us all, and ever since the day I was born 25 years ago my father has had a dream, and he has been working day in an day out constantly to get the particle accelerator up and running while improving our daily lives, and after doing all that he still somehow managed to have time to raise me into the person I am today, for that I'll be forever grateful." Naruto says with a smile before looking at Wells who smiles warmly at his son as a family moment of silence between the two occurs before Naruto turns his attention back to the crowd. "And like my father I'm excited to finally see his dream come true as well as what tonight's events will bring, but whatever happens when that particle accelerator turns on, no matter how this night ends, I know it will lead to a brighter future for us all." Naruto says with a bright smile on his face, getting a rise of cheers and applause out of the crowd as he steps back down, letting his father on the mic and returning back to his place beside Caitlin.

"So, what'd you think, how'd I do Cait?" Naruto asks, getting a warm smile from Caitlin who holds onto his arm.

"You did amazing as always, it's what I expected from the smartest man in the world." Caitlin says with a smile, causing Naruto to do the same before leaning in for a kiss, Caitlin doing the same before parting ways with Naruto and smiling at the young Wells as Wells bids the press goodbye, entering the building alongside his crew.

"Alright people let's get moving, it's showtime!" Wells yells with a smile plastered on his face.

Timeskip - 10 minutes later

"Dr. Wells, we just got the latest weather report, a big thunderstorm is rolling in." a man of puerto rican descent with an average height around 5 '6, but for what height he lacks he makes up for in his majestic black shoulder length hair and black eyes. He wears black jeans with a blue button up shirt with white polka dots on it and a blue tie under an unzipped gray jacket.

"We're not launching a space shuttle, we'll be fine." Wells says with confidence, Cisco smiling and nodding before going back to work, confident in his boss's thought process whilst nearby in another room on the right Caitlin and Naruto can be seen conversing with smiles on their faces as Caitlin keeps an eye on the particle accelerator's progression on her monitor.

"Hey, I just got a great idea." Naruto says, catching Caitlins attention as she turns her head to look at him.

"Oh, and what might that be?" Caitlin asks in interest, looking at Naruto with a smile.

"How about you and I take a vacation trip to Japan after the accelerator is up and running." Naruto says with a smile, causing Caitlin to smile warmly at him.

"But what about the particle accelerator? We can't just leave when it's just turning on I mean-"

"Cait, me and you both know that my dad can handle it and that he'd give us a week's worth of vacation time off to relax after all the hard work we put into this, so just agree with me already." Naruto reassures Caitlin whilst putting a finger on her lips, only removing it after he's done speaking.

"Fine, but we're going to Tahiti this time." Caitlin says with a smirk, causing Naruto to sweatdrop in surprise.

"T-Tahiti..? The flights to get there are so long! And what about Japan, they have such great food there like Quality Beef Miso Chashu Ramen, Onigiri Rice Balls, Green Tea, Japan style Barbecued meat, and more Ramen." Naruto says with a hint of pouting in his voice, causing Caitlin to smile brightly at Naruto's love for ramen, finding it adorable how much he loves his favorite food.

"Yes, but Japan doesn't have mai tais, and a good vacation isn't a vacation without mai tais." Caitlin says, causing Naruto to blush and look away with a pouting expression.

"Fine we'll go to Tahiti, but only because we went to Japan last time, and you can bet your pretty little face I'll be having someone hired to make me some real ramen, I mean Ramen Noodles are good, but nothing is quite like the taste of the flavor of that true beef miso." Naruto says with a bit of drool slipping out of his mouth in excitement, getting a chuckle out of Caitlin who smiles warmly before kissing his cheek, snapping Naruto out of his ramen daydream and causing him to notice one of his closest friends, Ronnie Raymond walking over with a smile on his face. Ronnie is a man with short black hair slicked up into small spikes in the front as well as blue eyes with a bit of hazel in the middle, he wears a black button up shirt with white buttons and khakis alongside dress shoes.

"Alright you two love birds, save it for after the accelerator turns on." Ronnie says while walking up to Naruto with a smile as said Wells walks over and opens his arms up for a hug which Ronnie reciprocates, hugging quickly before parting with a smile.

"Hey there bro, you weren't at the conference earlier, I didn't think you'd make it, heh." Naruto says jokingly as Ronnie chuckles.

"Come on, I'd never miss something like this, besides who could possibly be that late anyway." Ronnie says jokingly with a grin, not knowing that in a CSI Lab at the CCPD station, a much older and taller Barry Allen sneezed while looking at a whiteboard with all the information about Nora Allen's murder.

Ronnie signals Naruto and Caitlin to follow him into the main room with a smile as Cisco looks up at Wells with a proud smile. "Dr. Wells, the accelerator is primed and ready for particle injection." Cisco says with a smile as Wells turns around with one of his own, walking over to Cisco with Naruto, Caitlin, and Ronnie entering shortly as he walks.

"Well, I feel I should say something profound, like "one small step for man", but all I can think of to say is I feel like I've waited for this day for centuries." Wells says with a joking smile before turning to his son who nods at him with a warm smile alongside Caitlin, causing Wells to side eye them one last time with a smile before activating the collider's initialization via handprint Identification.

"That's it? You'd think there'd be like a, loud bang." Cisco says, underwhelmed at nothing really happening.

"If there was a loud bang, we'd all be in big trouble." Ronnie says, answering Cisco's question jokingly.

"Besides Cisco you'll get your moment with a girl one day if you're lucky, heh that'll be a real small step for man." Naruto jokingly says with a grin, getting a few chuckles from everyone around them.

"Well maybe I wouldn't need luck if you'd stop giving me paint bombs every time I try to go on a date, maybe then I'd stop having to stand them up." Cisco says sarcastically as Naruto looks at him, his grin getting cheekier.

"Sorry dude, you know how hard it is not to prank you, I mean come on you don't have to leave them hanging, besides, you look good in all orange anyway, heh that prank was what'd you'd call a real loud bang." Naruto says, cracking another joke while laughing alongside his co-workers, causing Cisco to roll his eyes and for Caitlin to nudge his side.

"Alright that's enough ladies, you can save your cat fight for later." Wells says with a smile, getting an annoyed glare from Naruto and Cisco. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we did it." Wells says, getting an applause from everyone before turning around to get a bottle of alcohol.

Naruto smiles at Caitlin before leaning in for a kiss, Caitlin reciprocating before the two separate with smiles of enjoyment and love on their faces before Naruto turns to his father with a grin, walking over as he pops the cork off with a green bottle of alcohol. "Alright bring out the big boy drinks!" Naruto says excitedly, prepared for the night of his life before watching the alcohol flow out of the bottle in slow motion in confusion alongside everyone else watching on. "What the fu-?" Naruto says before being interrupted by it returning to normal speed alongside the alarm going off with the lights before the building shakes from a loud explosion.

"Was that….?"

"A loud bang…" Ronnie answers for Cisco as Naruto widens his eyes.

"Oh shit…." Naruto says before rushing to the main control center alongside Caitlin, Cisco, and Wells.

"There's an anomaly in the core chamber." Cisco says while checking the systems for the cause of the explosion.

"The ring's structural integrity is holding." Caitlin says to Wells whilst Naruto looks over her shoulder.

"It started a chain reaction. The system is collapsing, we need to shut it down." Wells says to Cisco before going back to working on fixing issues with the accelerator as quickly as possible.

"We can't ramp down the accelerator from here, we need to do it manually." Cisco says before turning to head in that direction.

"Go!" Wells orders Cisco, trying to shut the accelerator down as fast as possible before anything goes wrong.

"I'll come with." Ronnie says, turning to go with Cisco as Naruto looks down for a second before deciding to go with them.

"If you're going Ronnie then I'm going too" Naruto says, widening the eyes of Caitlin who turns to him in objection.

"Naruto, no, I understand why Ronnie is going, but you're staying here with me!" Caitlin says in worry for Naruto who turns back to look at her.

"It's true that Ronnie is the lead engineer and that he knows what he's doing, but it's also true he and Cisco are my best friends, I'm gonna let them go alone if I can help it.

"I know that, I know more than anyone else in this word how much they mean to you, but even so I'm your girlfriend and you mean a lot to me, I love you!" Caitlin says with worry as Naruto smiles warmly before pulling out a small black box, widening Caitlin's eyes as he hands it to her.

"I love you too Cait, hold onto this for me will ya? I'll be back." Naruto says with a warm smile before giving a wide eyed Caitlin a passionate kiss before separating with a smile and running toward the room with the particle accelerator with Cisco and Ronnie, causing Wells to look at her and put a hand on her shoulder, getting her to look at him.

"It'll be ok Dr. Snow, I know my son will be fine, he has those two with him after all." Wells says with a warm smile, causing Caitlin to look at him in reassurance.

Naruto and Ronnie rush down the halls with Cisco trailing behind them before coming upon a vault-like door with a panel on one of its two red walls alongside a bunch of wires and cables. Ronnie puts his hand on the keypad, opening the door and turning toward Naruto with a worried smile. "Knowing you, you probably won't let me do this alone will you?" Ronnie says getting a smile out of Naruto in the process.

"I'm not going to let my best friend die saving my life, if were going to do this, were doing it together." Naruto says before turning toward Cisco who has a worried look on his face. "We're going inside to shut it down Cisco, if we can't stop it in 2 minutes then you need to seal the door shut.

"No way, I am not closing this door, I won't be able to open it again, I won't close this door on my best friends, and what about Caitlin, what do I tell her if neither of you come back, especially you of all people Naruto…." Cisco says with wide eyes and a concerned look.

"Cisco look at me, Caitlin means the world to me, and so do you. I think of you and Ronnie as the brothers I never had. Even if we don't share blood it will always be that way, so please, if we don't come back from this, promise me….promise me that'll you'll seal this door shut and take care of Caitlin for me." Naruto says with a serious look, causing Cisco to look at him in surprise before hesitantly nodding.

"Set your watch, two minutes." Ronnie says with a serious look, getting Cisco to nod and do so before the three share a hug between bonded brothers.

Naruto and Ronnie separate from the hug and smile at Cisco who points at them. "You're both coming back." Hearing this from Cisco, Ronnie and Naruto nod before running into the pipeline.

Timeskip - 2 minutes later.

"It looks like we're not making it out of this one bro…." Ronnie says with a chuckle while looking at Naruto as the building begins to shake.

"Damn it! This sucks, why did it have to be today….this was the day everything was supposed to go right, the particle accelerator was supposed to work out and I'd finally propose to Caitlin…." Naruto says with a frown, letting out a few tears whilst the scarab pulses blue inside of his coat pocket. "I'm sorry for dragging you into this Ronnie…..if it weren't for me you wouldn't even be here…" Naruto says softly, letting out tears whilst standing and leaning against a wall with Ronnie who looks at Naruto with a sad smile and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, it isn't your fault, I came out of my own free will and it was my decision to come here tonight, to be by my best friend's side, hell if it weren't for me meeting you all those years ago I wouldn't even have been on this project period." Hearing this from Ronnie Naruto widens his eyes in surprise before hugging Ronnie who reciprocates as two bolts of lightning coming out of nowhere race toward Naruto, one of the bolts being red and the other being orangish yellow, these bolts spiral for a few moments before combining into one really light blue lightning bolt. Naruto widens his eyes as time slows down for him, unconsciously pushing Ronnie onto the ground before being struck by this light blue bolt of electricity as the Scarab in his pocket fully glows blue, attracting itself to the electricity passing through and into Naruto's body, entering his veins like a shock and causing the Scarab to activate. "Naruto!" Ronnie says with wide eyes, watching as his now lightning struck friend falls onto his knees before hitting the ground, the Sarab in his pocket slowly making its way through his clothes and latching itself onto his back, merging itself with his spine in the process and combining both Naruto's essence and newly found electricity to itself.

"What's….happening to me….." Naruto thought before his world went dark.

"Naruto!" Ronnie yells while hastily crawling up to his now unconscious friend, checking his best friends burnt and hurt body for a pulse, sighing in relief and widening his eyes in confusion as Naruto's body proceeds to heal at an extremely abnormal rate due to the new symbiosis from both the lightning and the Scarab. "Wha…what the hell is going on…" Ronnie says aloud confused at his friend's recovery before pulling out a walkie talkie. "Cisco, can you hear me!?" Ronnie yells into the walkie talkie.

"Ronnie it's me." Caitlin says from the otherside of the walkie talkie, having ran to the pipeline to check on Naruto out of fear.

"Caitlin…." Ronnie says worriedly, getting a confused and scared look from Caitlin on the other side.

"Ronnie, where's Naruto…." Caitlin asks out of fear as Ronnie lets out a single tear.

"Caitlin…Naruto was hit by a stray bolt of electricity from the machine…." Ronnie says, getting a gasp from Caitlin on the other side who covers her mouth in horror, tears beginning to form in her eyes. "I checked his pulse, he-he's alive…but even so we aren't gonna make it out of here…we adjusted the magnets to redirect the beam, to try and vent the systems so the blast goes up and not out….." Ronnie says as Caitlin looks at the walkie talkie with hope of another way out of the accelerators pipeline.

"There has to be another way out of there, you have to find it and get both of you out of there…!" Caitlin says as Ronnie swallows a lump in his throat in fear of hurting Caitlin.

"Caitlin, the chain reaction….we can't reverse it, it's a miracle that Naruto's still alive right now, but that chain reaction will kill us both….and I know Naruto more than anyone else except for you and his father, and I know that he wouldn't want to live if it means that you and everyone else aren't protected, so the doors have to stay shut." Ronnie says before looking ahead, seeing energy from the particle accelerator rush toward him, blinding him from seeing Naruto be enveloped by a black substance coming from his back, burning off his clothes and spreading all throughout his body before stabilizing and forming black and blue armor around his with a blue barrier construct appearing around him, shielding him from the blast as it consumes Ronnie and lets out a giant explosion wave all throughout Central City.

"Ronnie…? Ronnie…? Ronnie, please answer me…! If Ronnie isn't then that means…Naruto!" Caitlin yells in horror and anguish.

Timeskip - 9 months later.

Naruto opens his eyes for the first time in nine months to a blurry sight of the ceiling of his lab in STAR Labs. "Where am I….?" Naruto asks himself softly before sitting up and noticing himself in his lab before taking off all the medical equipment attached to him and taking a step off the bed toward the mirror in confusion, looking at his lean and muscular physique in curiosity. "Have I always been this muscular? I've always worked out but since when did I gain a six pack?" Naruto asks himself in genuine confusion before hearing a familiar voice behind him that widens his eyes.

"Since the day the particle accelerator went off 9 months ago." Wells says with a genuine smile, causing Naruto to turn and look at him with wide eyes seeing him in a wheelchair. "Welcome back to the land of the living my son."

"Dad…..?" Naruto says with disbelief before beginning to walk toward his father slowly. "You're in a….."

"Wheelchair, yeah….a lot has happened since you fell into a coma…when the particle accelerator's chain reaction went off you and Ronnie were there first hand, you survived the blast…but Ronnie….." Wells says sadly as tears begin to form in Naruto's eyes, causing him to fall onto his knees in disbelief, shedding tears at his fathers misfortune.

"No….it can't be….this….This wasn't supposed to happen" Naruto asks his father, who strolls forward toward his son with a solemn smile, leaning forward and giving his son a hug.

"I know this must be hard for you….but what that accelerator did to you, what it gave you, it made you extraordinary." Wells says, causing Naruto to wipe his tears before standing up and looking at Wells with a confused look.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asks before watching his father pull out a mirror that reflects the one behind him, making him widen his eyes seeing the bright blue Scarab slightly popping out of his back, acting as a part of his spine. (look up live action Sarab and you can find an image of what I'm talking about) "Is that?"

"The Scarab, yes, you see son, when you were down there nine months ago you were hit with a stray bolt of electricity from the particle accelerator, and at the same time the scarab which you must have had on you at the time activated and appears to have bonded with you." Wells says, causing Naruto's eyes to widen in surprise.

"So you're saying that theory we were talking about before?"

"Was in fact true all along." Wells says, finishing Naruto's sentence in the process. "And I think that you are the only one who could activate it, I don't think it just bonded with you, I think it chose you, I think it's been watching you all this time, ever since you were 11 years old, and finally, it decided to choose to bond with you when you attempted to save Mr. Raymond from that bolt of electricity, it's also probably why you're still alive, it fused itself permanently with your spine in order to both bond and protect you from the blast."

"Wait wait wait, even if it is the reason why I'm still alive, how could it have possibly protected me from that kind of blast I mean it's-" Naruto says before being interrupted by a surge of shock coming from his back as he falls to his knees once more before putting his hands on the ground, gasping for air in pain and shock. "Ah, what the hell…..what's happening to me…!?" Naruto asks as Wells widens his eyes, watching as Naruto looks up at him, his eyes now being a gold instead of there usual blue, the scarab sprouting from his back for the first time in 9 months as his both gets enveloped in black liquidy substance that forms into black under armor before forming blue shoulder pads and a blue chest plate with a black M like shape on it. "Dad! What the hell is going on!?" Naruto yells to his dad before looking at the black liquidy substance surrounding his face that makes him yellow out in fear with his voice becoming a bit distorted.

"Incredible….." Wells says with an amazement, leaning in to get a closer look as he watches the substance continue to surround Naruto's head, shrouding and hiding his hair before forming blue armor plates around his head, widening Naruto's eyes.

"No no no no!" Naruto says before the substance covers his entire face, forming two blue lines around his now completely gold eyes and black face as the rest of the Scarab's armor settles in, causing Naruto to let out a breath of air he didn't know he was holding before standing up, giving his father a full view of the armor before turning toward the mirror and walking toward it and looking at his new armored appearance. "What the fu-!" Naruto says before covering his mouth, turning around with wide golden eyes hearing a female AI like voice.

"Host, reawakened." The AI voice says with nonchalance in its tone.

"Who said that?" Naruto asks aloud, getting a confused look from his father in return.

"System configuration, initializing." The AI says, confusing Naruto who looks at Wells with a questioning look.

"Wait, you don't hear that?" Naruto asks his father in confusion.

"Hear what, I don't hear anything?" Wells says in response

"Analyzing Host." The AI says while searching for the answer it seeks.

"There's a voice in my head…." Naruto says worriedly before widening his father's eyes.

"Wait a minute, it's possible that you're hearing the Scarab and it's speaking to you…..but that would mean only one thing….the Scarab, it's a sentient life form…..fascinating…!" Wells says in excitement as Naruto's armor begins to surge with blue electricity.

"No way….." Naruto says as the suit continues to surge with electricity.

"Hello, Naruto." The AI says before powering the suit, causing the M shape on the chest to glow blue.

"Woah, this feels….amazing..!" Naruto says in a bit of excitement, feeling the lightning course through both his veins and the Scarab Armor.

"Begin systems check in 3." The AI says, confusing Naruto in the process.

"Systems check, what the hell does that mean, and why are you counting down!?" Naruto says as the Scarab on the back of his armor glows blue before opening up with and kickstarts like an engine.

"Uh oh, that can't be good." Wells says with a bit of concern in his voice alongside curiosity.

"1, Thrusters engage." The AI says, widening Naruto's eyes.

"Oh, shii-!" Naruto says before being launched through the roof of his lab, his last words echoing in a panic whilst Wells stares at the roof and sighs.

"Welp, guess I'll have to get that fixed later." Wells says nonchalantly before turning to roll toward the cortex, having gotten used to this kind of thing from the past few weeks with a certain Scarlet Speedster.

"What the hell is going on!?" Naruto yells while soaring into the air with great speed, soaring high above the clouds.

"Escape velocity protocall engaged." The AI in Naruto's head says, getting a confused yell from him.

"Woah woah woah where are you taking me!?" Naruto yells in fear as he soars above the clouds before passing the atmosphere and into space.

"Passing, atmospheric layers." The AI says, widening Naruto's eyes at this statement.

"We passed the atmosphere, are you crazy!? The lack of oxygen will kill me, let alone the pressure of its vacuum!" Naruto yells at the Scarab as it continues to soar higher.

"Adjusting pressure for host protection." The AI says, doing so to protect its new host.

"That's great, but I still need oxygen!" Naruto yells before stopping in the air vacuum of space, realizing that he can breathe just fine. "Wait a minute, I'm still breathing, heh I can't believe it, I'm breathing in space!" Naruto says with excitement, getting giddy and cheerful at the sight of the giant round sphere that is planet earth below him. "Oh, this is not what I expected to be waking up to in the morning, but who cares, I'm in space! And the earth, it's so beautiful! Man I wish Cait could see this right now….wait a second, Caitlin!" Naruto says in realization, widening his eyes in the process as the thrusters on his back cut off suddenly.

"Testing, reentry systems." The Scarab says whilst cutting off the thrusters to the scarab on Naruto's back.

"Wa-wait wait wait wait, no noo!" Naruto says before dropping at great speeds, his voice echoing in the distant vacuum of space as he continues to fall, reentering earth's atmosphere and catching on fire from his speedy reentry, widening his eyes before yelling.

"Oh my god! Oh my god I'm on fire! Ahh!-Wait a second, I'm on fire and it doesn't burn….this thing is fire proof!? Awesome!" Naruto yells with an excited chuckle, calming down a bit in the process as he continues to fall back down to Central City, causing him to look down and begin freaking out again. "No no no no!" Naruto yells in a panic.

"Approaching contact, 300 meters." The AI says whilst analyzing the situation.

"Oh my god I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!" Naruto yells in a panic.

"200 meters."

"Dear god, please have mercy on my soul!" Naruto prays, hoping to find some way out of this situation.

"100 meters."

"I love you Caitlin!" Naruto yells before beetle-like wings with blue energy come out of the Scarab on his armored back, stopping his fall just before he hits the water next to the Central City bridge.

"Breaking systems check, complete" The AI says with nonchalance, causing Naruto to look at the water and let out a breath of relief.

"Oh thank god, you scared the hell out of me!" Naruto yells at the scarab before looking up at the city. "Ok, if that's all the tests we have to check you can take me home now." Naruto asks the Scarab with a bit of hope in his voice.

"Flight systems, engage" The AI says to Naruto's disappointment.

"Oh come on!" Naruto yells at the water before yelling in an echo, being boosted in the distance and skidding across the water before colliding with some of the bridge's pillars and groaning in a bit of pain. "Ugh, could you at least get us in the air if we're gonna fly!" Naruto asks the Scarab before hitting an orange sea bell, making a comedic ding sound alongside being launched into the air. "Ow! That is not what I meant!" Naruto yells before being boosted off into the distance, his voice echoing as the scarab heads for the city.

"Testing acceleration systems." The AI says before boosting into Central City, flying past buildings in a blue blur.

"How am I supposed to enjoy this when I can't see what the hell I'm doing!" Naruto yells before the world around him begins to slow down as he moves faster.

"Adjusting Host's perception." The AI responds, causing Naruto to look around in excitement with a smile under his armored helmet as he continues to fly through the city with great speeds.

"Now that's more like it, woohoo!" Naruto yells in excitement, being spotted when flying by at great speeds by an unmasked Barry Allen in a dark red suit with a cowl that has lightning bolts around the ears and a red symbol with a lightning bolt on his chest.

"Hey Caitlin, I might have to get back to you, It looks like I just found another Meta-Human." Barry says to Caitlin Snow over his comms, having been ordered to come back to star labs.

"Barry no! We don't even know what you're dealing with yet!" Caitlin says with worry and concern for Barry's safety etched in her voice over comms.

"Well, there's only one way to find out." Barry says with confidence before putting his cowl on and running after Naruto.

"Barry!" Caitlin yells through the comms before turning and looking at Cisco in annoyance, who just smiles innocently.

Naruto continues to fly through the city at great speeds with blue energy coming off of him with a bit of blue lightning crackling here and there with glass windows on cars shattering at the pure speed. "Hey, I think I'm getting the hang of this!" Naruto yells in excitement as he moves through the streets, looking at the slow cars he passes before looking forward and widening his eyes when seeing a tall building in front of him. "Uh oh, no no no no, pull up! Pull up!" Naruto yells before being propelled up, shattering windows as he flies up the building. "Oh my god!"

"Host, overreacting." The AI says, widening Naruto's eyes in annoyance.

"Overreacting, we almost crashed into a building!" Naruto yells at the Scarab before boosting forward after reaching the top of the building.

"C'mon Cisco, where's he headed!?" Barry asks over his comms with Cisco viewing a monitor with a map of Central City that has two lines on it, one with a red line identified as Barry and the other being labeled as Meta-Human.

"He's heading 6 blocks north, but Barry I don't know about this, Caitlins right we have no idea what you're up against. It's almost as fast as you are, what if it turns out to be an enemy like Mardon." Cisco says while guiding Barry to Naruto's location.

"Then we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there, but for now I just need to catch him!" Barry says while running, eventually reaching an open street with moving cars.

"Guy's, where is he?" Barry asks in confusion.

"Barry the STAR Labs satellite says he should be right there with you." Cisco says before Naruto crash lands into an empty car, wrecking the car completely and making the alarm go off as well as making Barry look at it in concern.

"Barry what was that?" Caitlin asks over the comms as Barry deadpans.

"Uh guys, I think I found the Meta-Human." Barry says in an awkward manner, being underwhelmed by the impactful entrance as Naruto groans in pain.

"Ow, damn it, when I said I wanted to pop my back this is not what I meant." Naruto says while crawling out from the car's remains.

"Landing Systems check, complete." The AI says nonchalantly, disregarding Naruto's exaggerated pain entirely.

"Landing my ass, look what you made us do to that car!" Naruto yells in annoyance before looking around to see people freaking out. "Uh Oh, I really hope they have insurance on that car because that thing is fu-!"

"Hey!" Barry yells at Naruto, gaining his attention as he turns to look at the scarlet speedster. "What the hell are you doing!?" Barry asks in confusion while looking at Naruto with a look of anticipation, ready for anything he may try.

"Oh shit is this your car dude!? Man my bad, it was an accident I swear!" Naruto yells while waving his arms in defense.

"Threat, approaching." The AI says as Naruto yells in fear, preparing himself for impact as the Scarab on his back reforms energy beetle wings that shield him from the bus with the bus driver hitting the brakes to stop as the energy wings melt through the middle of the bus like butter, giving Naruto a view of the inside.

"Woah, what the hell!?" Naruto says to himself in fear while placing a hand over the place on his helmet where his mouth would be while looking at the passengers of the vehicle as it fully cuts in half, his energy wins receding back into the Scarab alongside it.

Barry speeds in and saves every passenger of the now split in half bus before returning to looking at Naruto with a look of confusion and annoyance. "Hey man you almost killed those people!" Barry yells at Naruto who waves his hands back in fourth in defense.

"Host protection, successful!" The AI says in a proud manner.

"Hey man I swear it was an accident, this is a misunderstanding, I'm not in full control of this thing, oh Caitlin is so gonna kill me!" Naruto yells at himself in worry before Barry looks at him with confusion.

"Wait wait wait, you know Caitlin? As in Caitlin Snow?" Barry asks as Naruto nods rapidly.

"Yeah yeah yeah, she's my girlfriend!" Naruto yells at the scarlet speedster, widening said man's eyes and getting a flashback to his first test run. Naruto widens his eyes a little before shakily looking back at the Scarab on his back with sweat under his helmet, seeing the flight systems being reactivated and ready for take off again.

"Systems check, complete!" The AI says in glee before Naruto looks at a confused Barry before sighing.

"Not again…." Naruto says before yelling, being launched into the air by the flight systems going off before being sent off in the direction of STAR Labs.

"Barry? Barry, can you hear me?" Cisco asks over comms, having heard nothing from Barry yet before widening his eyes a bit in surprise when feeling a gust of wind rush past him and Caitlin alongside a red blur with a dash of lightning. "Woah what the heck man, you couldn't warn us first that you were just gonna rush in all of a sudden!?" Cisco yells in surprise before Barry unmasks himself.

"Well, what happened with the Meta-Human, did you two fight?" Caitlin asks with a confused look on her face.

"I-I don't know I'm not sure what just happened myself really it happened all so fast, first he crashed landed into a car then he accidentally cut a bus in half with some kind of laser wings coming out of this thing on his back, it was like he was wearing a suit of armor I mean-."

"Woah woah woah, now, slow down, he accidentally cut a bus in half, how do you accidentally cut a bus in half!?" Caitlin asks in confusion.

"I-I don't know, he said he wasn't in control of what he was wearing, it was like a blue suit of armor, and he had this beetle thing on his back that allowed him to fly and create plasma wings as shield, it was honestly pretty cool." Barry says in a bit of excitement, getting a small look of disappointment out of Caitlin and a smile from Cisco.

"Blue Beetle….that's his name, end of discussion, I mean usually I hate it when they put colors in there name but this one sounds dope." Cisco says with a cheeky smile before sweat dropping at Caitlin's glare. "Right, not the time….."

"I agree, the name sounds perfect for our new friend." Wells says while rolling up to the cortex in his wheelchair.

"Dr. Wells…!" Cisco, Caitlin, and Barry all say in sync at the same time.

"What do you mean? How do you know that he's a friendly Meta-Human and not an evil one like Clyde Mardon?" Caitlin asks in confusion as Wells smiles.

"Well last time I checked I don't remember Naruto being the type to use power for evil." Wells says with a genuine smile, widening the eyes of Cisco and Caitlin and causing Barry to give a confused look.

"Who's Naruto?" Barry asks in confusion, causing Wells to chuckle as Cisco looks at him with a look of questioning.

"Dude, Naruto is his son remember!? And he also happens to be Caitlin's boyfriend, and my best friend….." Cisco says in a bit of sadness with a solemn smile, widening Barry's eyes as he looks at Wells in surprise.

"Your so-"

"Yes."

"With your brai-"

"Yes, but what Cisco is trying to say here is that my son is a good person and speaking of my son he should be crash landing in here any minute now." Wells says, interrupting Barry's obvious questions before watching with a smirk as Naruto crashes through the roof's windows.

"Return landing, successful" The AI says as Naruto looks up at everyone in a daze as the armor recedes alongside the Scarab, returning into his back and leaving Naruto tired and in the nude as he looks up at Caitlin who widens her eyes and covers her mouth in disbelief at the sight.

"Oh hey….Caity..….you shoulda seen it….I saw the prettiest thing today…..I went to space…!" Naruto says with a tired and goofy smile before hitting the ground face first.

"Naruto!" Cisco and Caitlin yell at the same time before running over to Naruto to check on him, widening their eyes when seeing the Sarab in his back.

"Dr. Wells, what is that thing!?" Barry asks in disbelief when looking at the Naruto's Scarab infused spine.

"That Mr. Allen, is the Scarab….." Wells says while trailing off with a smile on his face, looking forward to his plans for his son's future.

I really like writing this series so far, one it combines two of my favorite things, speedsters, and my favorite thing, the Scarab, this thing is so sick and I can't wait to show more, but one thing I want to get out of the way, Naruto will never be as fast as Barry or any other normal speedster, I say normal as in someone who doesn't have a Scarab or anything special, because one the Scarab is feeding off his speed force energy to make both it and it's weapons stronger, two, Naruto will have the reaction time/Flashtime of a speedster but will only be able to use running speed in quick bursts unless he wishes to overload the Scarab's systems so don't expect him to just be speeding around all the time, third Naruto would most likely accept the Scarab a lot quicker than Jaime Reyes and will have a easier time using it thanks to studying it since he was a 11, fourth I'm going with the live action Blue Beetle suit because I think it looks the best and I'm also taking inspiration from a decent Fanfic called Purest Speedster, and tbh I think it was ruined by the creator just being a horny teen with a weird imagination, as well as adding unnecessary characters like Superman so early and especially since he isn't even on the same earth as the flash or another example being characters that don't exist in the CW period like sapphire stagg and metamorpho, but I do like the idea of him getting beat in public cause it gives plot so maybe Ill use smth like that but anyway ENOUGH WITH THE TANGET, LEAVE A REVIEW AND ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY/NIGHT.
