Two days later, Hiccup kept his distance from Astrid.
Everytime Astrid would approach him, he ducked his head and leave to avoid talking to her.
Astrid saddened and left to go hang with Ruffnut.
Hiccup took Emma to see grandparents.
Valka reads him and ask "why are you avoiding Astrid for?"
Hiccup answers "after that situation with me getting drunk and embarrass Snotlout at Astrid's honor, I just don't feel like I should stay with her anymore."
Stoick comments "maybe this will give you a chance to mend those thoughts. Dagur informed me that Drago sent a team of hunters to collect dragons and you, Mr. Dragon Master."
Hiccup comments "well that's news."
Stoick grins "I want you to take a team and protect those dragons and Dagur said the hunters required a device to hunt dragons."
Hiccup comments "I'll go round up the teens after I go find that device that the dragon hunters are looking for."
He leaves the house and goes collect Dagur for a mission.
He walked down to the inn and collect Dagur for a mission.
Dagur opened the door to see Hiccup about to knock on the door and ask "what do you need?"
Hiccup grins "we have a mission."
Dagur laughs.
They take Dagur's flag ship and Toothless to pull the ship faster.
Dagur ask "where are we heading to?"
Hiccup answers "hunter's ship grave."
Two hours later, they arrive at hunter's ship graveyard.
Hiccup comments "you can search the ships for valuables. I'm going to search that flag ship."
They split up.
Dagur search every ship collecting cups of value on the market.
Hiccup found a strange spyglass and a pouch of strange lenses.
Dagur ask "what did you find?"
Hiccup answers "a strange spyglass that hunter's had before."
Dagur comments "I need to get back to my tribe."
Hiccup grins "take care, brother in arms."
They split up.
Hiccup flew back to Berk while Dagur sailed to Berserker tribe."
An hour and a half later, Hiccup and Toothless returned to Berk.
Toothless left to go mingle with Luna, the Light Fury.
Stoick walked upto him and asked "did you find anything?"
Hiccup sighs "just a strange spyglass that has something to do with dragons."
Astrid walked upto him carrying Emma and says "welcome back and I forgive you."
Next day, Hiccup and Fishlegs worked on the spyglass.
Toothless sniffed it and lit it with dragon fire light.
Hiccup comments "it's a map to glacier mountain in the North."
He looks at the slot and says "we need a dragon fang from glacier dragon."
Fishlegs ask "should I get the teens and brief them?"
Hiccup answers "yeah."
Hiccup packed the dragon eye in the saddle compartment.
Astrid stopped by and ask "what's you doing?"
Hiccup answers "I have a mission to protect the dragons from dragon hunters and I need to fly to glacier mountains to collect a snow dragon fang."
Astrid comments "Snotlout has been moping around because you hurt his pride."
Hiccup sighs "he bullied me physically and put me in the healers over ten years. He mopes around over one night of getting embarrassed."
Astrid comments "I understand that, Hiccup, but you need to talk to him. He won't come out of his bedroom in the basement."
Hiccup groans "fine, I'll go talk with him."
Astrid smiles "thank you and he's been taking a shower everyday."
