It's been five months since Annika is still missing, she was been captive in the cellar for days although Otto did everything to save her but the client threatened him from freeing her. In the cellar room, Annika was lying on the mattress sadly and holding the sack bag of her belongings in her arms, she sniffled tearfully and sobbed helplessly, she turned around and looked at the book, gritted her teeth in anger, got up from the mattress, walked to it, picked it up, and threw it to the wall in fury, she huffed and puffed in despair, shedding her tears in despair, she let out cry and covered her eyes with her hands, unable to free herself from her captor, she pulled out the hair clip, walked to the door, lockpicked on it, and unlocked it, she opened it, and raced out of the cellar room.
Freed, Annika rushed out of the cellar room, ran across the hallways, reached the doorknob, twisted it, and opened it, entered the stairways, ran up through every level, raced to the first floor, reached the first floor, grabbed the doorknob, opened it, entered the storage room, and got inside. Inside the storage room, Annika began to look for clues and came across a door, she took out the hair clip, walked to the door, lockpicked on it, and unlocked it, she opened it, and entered it. To her surprise, she discovered that she was in the living room of the abandoned building, she realized that the abandoned building had a secret bunker all along just before her kidnapping. There, she turned around and gasped when she saw Otto lying on the floor battered, tied up, and beaten, then ran into her and looked at him in worry.
"Annie! I'm glad to see you again, I know you are safe." coughed Otto, Annika untied the rope immediately.
"Indeed, the abandoned building has a bunker where I was held captive," explained Annika.
"What?! How did you know?" thought Otto.
"Yes, maybe someone lived there before," said Annika.
"No, I have nothing to do what is right now. But I have to go back to work, I have a chance to prove my loyalty!" worried Otto, "Annika! It's dangerous out there, he will kill you, even I had to protect you!"
"I'm doing my best, what happened?" said Annika, asking Otto what happened.
"Well, the truth is out because my client discovered it, he tied me up and beat me up, tying me up with a bowline knot! He threatened to frame me if I didn't reveal his secrets, it would end my career. I wanted to be sure my client wouldn't harm you again and you would be safe from him!" confessed Otto, Annika looked up and gaped to see the chandelier in the ceiling suddenly break and fall.
"Look out!" shouted Annika, pushing Otto aside as the chandelier crashed into the floor and the tenth and final marble ball appeared beneath it.
"What?" thought Otto, Annika took out nine marble balls in her hands she kept and realized that the final marble ball was still there, then the green-haired little boy appeared out of nowhere.
"Lady, you found the marbles." gasped the little boy, seeing Annika gathering the ten marble balls in his hands, "You did it, you proven worthy of courage to gather the marbles to uncover the truth all along. I'll tell you what happened, an entity that had entered our universe, is killing those in its path and wanting to wipe them out, even he'll find and hurt you soon but I can stay with you and promise that I'll be in your path. Together we can banish it and rid him once and for all." he explained.
"Yes." nodded Annika, and then she experienced the final vision, she saw the green-haired boy finished his studies and reached his late twenties. For the final part of his experiments, he became his mother's assistant at SARA and pretended to be a normal human, but he developed independent thought and wanted to be freed from her command. At the top of the hill, the man followed his mother, tied her wrists together with plastic ties, forced her to kneel, and decapitated her with a machete, then carved the statement "YOUR ARMY IS MINE!" into her forehead.
"YOUR ARMY IS MINE!" declared the man evilly.
"Gahhh!" gasped Annika, panting from her vision, but she was suspicious that something behind all this.
"Annie!" worried Otto.
"Otto, how could you." shuddered Annika, but she saw the little boy was gone, "Where is he?" she shouted.
"Annie.." pleaded Otto.
"How could you kill your mother and creator and take control of her army of neohumans! You used this rope to tie her hands, forced her to kneel, and chopped off her head!" accused Annika, but the marble balls were snatched from her hands by Otto who evilly grinned at her in return.
"Now, you know everything. It was time for me to show you the truth to you! My brothers and sisters welcomed me as their new leader." grinned Otto evilly, Annika gaped and backed away from him, wondering what was going on. At that moment, Otto grabbed the brown wig, took it off, and flung it to the floor, then untied his green tie and tossed it away to the floor, revealing that he was none other than the green-haired boy, a neohuman from Annika's visions.
"Ahhhhhhh!" shrieked Annika fearfully, she realized that Otto was the green-haired boy from her vision and her captor who kidnapped her that day, they were all one and the same.
"Finally you know who I truly am!" said Otto manically.
"You're...you're a neohuman...but I saw a vision of my dream via the marble balls I'd found to uncover the truth behind my captor's identity to escape. I saw a child in my vision, he was being shot at his hand, and healing instantly. Who is he?" explained Annika, asking Otto who is the green-haired boy and the other one whom he kidnapped.
"That child in your vision was me, the boy with green hair," Otto revealed to be both the kidnapped child and the green-haired boy, also the one and the same.
"No... it can't be..." shuddered Annika horrified by the truth, she knelt on the floor and shuddered in tears.
"It turned out, these marble balls contained my memories when that kid rewrote the timeline by mistake, it cursed me with dissociative identity disorder and the only way to make myself whole again was if marble balls were out there but scattered somewhere until you found them one by one," explained Otto.
"By why?" asked Annika, scared.
"I was a test tube baby made by Denise Daniels, the CEO of S.A.R.A., we grew up in each tank filled with a superhuman serum mixed with Berzelium, it was found in a meteorite that crashed to Earth. Denise kept waking up every subject and even she took me out of the tank to learn and develop so I grew easier to interact with and to follow her commands. In the final stages of testing, she made me work for her and I pretended to be a human. During my testing process, I felt more independent and I didn't want to be controlled under Denise's commands, she abused and mistreated me enough, so I decided to rebel against her." explained Otto.
"Otto, how..." shuddered Annika.
"I followed Denise and the others to the hill, tied her wrist, forced her to kneel to the ground, and beheaded her head with a machete. My brothers and sisters no longer bow to a cruel, inferior mother." said Otto, holding the ten marble balls, "With these marble balls, I can destroy humanity once and for all!" he laughed just as Dr. Daemon arrived.
"What? What are you doing? I thought you were my friend." thought Dr. Daemon.
"All I wanted was to wipe every single human for the rest of your entire life," smirked Otto, the marble balls were absorbed into his body, regaining his memories but also granting him new powers, he paused and froze the Daemon father-son duo in front of Annika.
"Nooo!" shrieked Annika, she got up and tried to make a run for her life while trying to take off the collar but it stung her again.
"Oops, sorry, little girl. I have a better idea," said Otto.
Back at the apartment unit, the children were still guilt-ridden over Annika's abduction and blamed themselves for upsetting her in the first place although Scott is sad about his friend, he is not in the mood and can't cope with his sadness. Just then, Captain Read showed up with his old friend, an alchemist Rebecca Flamel who occasionally comes to visit them and brings meals for all of them. She was accompanied by a Japanese-American social worker, Zoe Kusama, and her son, Daniel who was excited to see his stepbrothers but Scott disliked him rudely, she pulled out each ticket to Rock en Vincennes for herself and Zoe. Before they left, Zoe handed her son over to Scott, and the two women left. In the meantime, Captain Read walked to the TV screen, turned it on with a remote control, chrome-casted it, turned on the TrendVid, and began to watch a show but all of a sudden, it changed into the static screen and then the footage of Otto appeared in the bunker room using the cell phone to broadcast the live stream.
"Gahhh!" yelped Captain Read surprisingly.
"The Jones family! The time has come for all of us to take our final stand to challenge me!" announced Otto.
"Otto, I thought I got rid of him." gaped Scott shockingly.
"Who is he?" asked Captain Read.
"That's the bad man that hurt our Dad," said Ryan.
"I have been waiting long enough, the moment of conquest has arrived, and the battle has begun!" explained Otto, "By the way, did I mention that I brought your friend along," he remarked, and he showed Annika tied up with a rope.
"Annika!" gasped Captain Read shockingly.
"Annie!" exclaimed the boys.
"Face it, children, there is no way to stop me from saving the poor unfortunate friend of yours, she belonged to me forever!" declared Otto.
"No!" shouted Captain Read worriedly.
"I'm so sorry you guys, it's my fault for running away from all of you, if we got into a fight, none of this wouldn't have happened for sure. Please forgive me." sniffled Annika, begging the Jones-Read family to forgive her for what she had done.
"Annie..." shuddered Scott tearfully.
"I admit that I was the one who kidnapped that poor girl when she was sad. I know you've been honorable just like your daddy," smirked Otto evilly, "But I don't think so. You took away and destroyed the freedom I need most just before your daddy's police force came, I'm just simply returning the favor, Joneses." he added while Annike shuddered in fear, "Find me now and meet me up at any places where I held your friend, Annika Masson, don't gather your new team as must as they never oppressed me. Revenge is within my grasp for my brothers and sisters!" he asked the family to meet him up at the Rock en Vincennes and warned them not to gather their team.
"Arrrghhh!" gritted Captain Read furiously.
"Don't worry, children I'll be a good guardian if I might spare her for all of you unless you all sacrifice yourselves. You and your brother are among the last to die with your loved ones and see them burn in fire! Helpless, useless than ever you weren't, even everything you have." grinned Otto.
"Nooooo..." gritted Scott tearfully.
"Now choose for your friend- release your friend now, or force her to kill you and your loved ones here?" asked Otto.
"Never!" refused Ryan furiously.
"Well, maybe not." denied Otto.
"No!" shouted Captain Read angrily.
"So long, Jones family, we meet again somehow! And by the way, I have other plans, she might make a good friend to me." he declared before he laughed evilly and the family gasped in worry, "Victory is mine!" he turned off the live stream in front of the family.
"Oh no!" gasped Captain Read shockingly.
"Captain Read, he got the marble balls Scott's great-grandfather hid were the source of new enhanced powers but we were powerless against him to save her!" explained Ryan.
"Arrghh! Grandpa is right about the warning about showing the locations of the memory marbles Otto was looking for, it's all my fault. If I hadn't hidden them somewhere far in the first place, none of this would've happened to all of us and Annie." Scott blamed himself for accidentally revealing the locations of the enhanced memory marbles in France, Paris.
"Lad. Don't blame yourself. You fix your mistakes because Annie needs us. At least we figured out that Annika's kidnapper is a neohuman you both talking about." Captain Read comforted Scott and reminded him that Annika needed them.
"Please, let me go!" pleaded Annika tearfully.
"Never, there is no escape from me now." laughed Otto, "Get ready Annie, because it's time to kill you right before your friends show up." he reminded Annika to prepare herself to be killed by him.
"Oh no." sniffled Annika.
The next day, back inside the basement bunker, Otto was preparing to kill Annika with his machete to get back at the Jones family in an act of revenge for his defeat. In the meantime, Annika was back inside the cellar room trapped and locked helplessly, she finally knew the whole truth behind his past, she was once again wearing the hot pink striped dress and still had the collar on her neck but remembered that she still had a hair clip with her, she took it out, inserted to the keyhole, and picked on it, hoping that it would work on the collar. Eventually, the collar was unlocked and removed from her, freeing her, she gathered her things, rushed up to the door, lockpicked on it, unlocked it, opened it, and raced out of the cellar room. She ran across the hallways, reached the doorknob, twisted it, and opened it, entered the stairways, ran up through every level, reached the first floor, reached the first floor, grabbed the doorknob, opened it, entered the storage room, got inside, then went to the door, lockpicked on it, unlocked it, opened it, and exited the bunker. Leaving the basement bunker. Annika panted heavily and sighed, she turned around and saw ten marble balls on the table, reached them, grabbed them, and retrieved them before rushing out of the building and escaping the area.
"Yes, finally!" Annika was relieved that she finally gathered the courage to escape from her ordeal.
"Annie, where are you." back at the basement bunker, Otto walked up with a machete and prepared to kill Annika only to find that she was gone, "Huh? No!" he was infuriated.
Escaping away from her captor with the completed ten marble balls with her and leaving the abandoned building once and for all, Annika ran down the road barefooted panting heavily while taking back her belongings with her, she shed tears and sobbed in relief, knowing that she might see her friends again somehow. Then, she came across the bus, hopped onto it, and rode on it. Riding on the bus, Annike slept on the seat and watched through the window tiredly. A few days later, Annika was still asleep, woke up, got up, ran out of the bus, and fled on her own. A few hours later, at the Rock en Vincennes in the middle of the forest, there was a middle-aged man with blue eyes, spiky light brown hair, and at five o'clock, he had eyepatch over his left eye and wore a light blue bucket hat with a pineapple motif, a white button-up T-shirt with a tropical flower pattern, a pair denim pants, and black shoes. Just then, all of a sudden, Annika emerged from the green bushed and ran out of them panting heavily.
"Please help! Help me!" cried Annika.
"Ma'am, who are you?" questioned Jones.
"Please, you gotta help me!" pleaded Annika tearfully. Just then, a green-eyed, shoulder-length, curly blonde-haired beat cop with black eyeliner, pink lipstick, and cobalt nail polish came up to Jones, she was about Annika's age and wearing a white vest under a baby blue police shirt with two breast pockets and cobalt epaulettes with two white stripes on each epaulette, the word "POLICE" is emblazoned in cobalt above her right breast pocket next to a small French flag and there is a cobalt and white police emblem on her left sleeve.
"Hello, Brigadier Léa Bonnet. What's the matter?" said Léa, walking to Annika and questioning her.
"Please, help me." pleaded Annika.
The next day, inside the police car, Annika was asleep in the backseat with Léa driving the car, she woke up and came across the apartment building where she and the children lived before her abduction, she gathered her things, got up from the seat, rushed out of the police car, raced into the apartment, and got inside. Afterward, once inside the apartment, Annika walks around the living room, gathers the chargers, and charges the gadgets in time, she turns around and is greeted by Evergreen who appears, rushes toward Annika, and jumps into her.
"Evergreen." overjoyed Annika, "I'm so sorry, I have to find my friends," she said, getting up from the floor while Jones came up to her and wondered who she was.
"Who are you anyways?" asked Jones.
"I'm Annika Brie Masson, you are David Jeremiah Jones, the grandson of the astrologer, you're the boys' father because they never told me," explained Annika.
"What happened?" questioned Jones.
"I was kidnapped by a neohuman five months ago when I arrived in Paris," explained Annika, she ran out of the unit to find her friends, leaving Jones confused and stunned. Outside the apartment, Annika was running down the street looking for her friends until she ran into her friends who were walking down the street along with Rebecca.
"Annika." gasped Rebecca surprisingly.
"Gregory! Help me!" cried Annika tearfully, running to Captain Read and hugging him.
"Annika!" gasped Captain Read.
"Where have you been?" asked Rebecca, but Annika sensed something, she turned around and glanced behind, Otto appeared out of nowhere holding a machete, she screamed and cried in fear.
"Who is he again?" asked Captain Read.
"It's him, Otto Kessel, the neohuman who kidnapped me five months ago," explained Annika, hiding behind Captain Read.
"Don't worry, I got this," said Captain Read, taking out his flintlock pistol, aimed at Otto, pulled the trigger, and shot him in the neck, making Annika shriek in fear. Otto looked at his wound and healed himself instantly.
"Nice try, old man, these silly toys never harmed me as a child!" remarked Otto, extracting the bullet out of his neck.
"Don't worry Annie," said Scott, the boys took out the compass and astrolabe and transformed themselves into Celestial Masques, and then took out their weapons, Scott got an enhanced katana and Ryan got a glowing cutlass.
"Annie, you didn't expect us with our new skills. Check it out! We spent five months training to increase our skills." explained Ryan, the boys charged at Otto, leaped in the air, spun around, and lunged to attack him but he easily dodged them.
"Otto Kessel! Time to face to face now!" shouted Scott.
"Ah, Scott Jones and Ryan Waygetter! I've been waiting for you both to show up for so long. Well, well. Look who's been learning the same passion as your Daddy!" smiled Otto, mocking the boys' new skills. The boys gritted their teeth, charged at him, and swung their weapons at him only to be blocked by Otto's machete.
"Oh! That's all very pretty, it happened last time your father risked his life saving you from the dome explosion," said Otto, then kicked the boys off of him.
"Scott! Ryan!" exclaimed Annika.
"Bye! Bye!" laughed Otto evilly, preparing to kill the boys with the machete but then a miracle happened.
"Not so fast. Brightburn! Attack!" a familiar voice said, a silhouette of a massive bat came out of nowhere and sicced on him, attacking him, "Gaaahhh!" he yelped.
"Huh?" thought Annika, she turned around and saw the dhampir witch Annabelle Leek and the Mexican hunter Luke Fernandez who arrived to visit their friends.
"Get him, Ronnie!" said Luke, a chupacabra Ronnie Hawk charged at Otto and attacked him.
"Luke! Annabelle!" exclaimed Scott, seeing his friends, Luke Fernandez and Annabelle Leek show up, he turned around and saw Otto screaming in pain and pushing the creatures off of him.
"Gaaaah!" yelped Otto, seeing Ronnie and Brightburn charge at him, but he grinned evilly and dodged them easily.
"Hey!" gritted Annabelle.
"Miss me." laughed Otto, he was suddenly tied up and restrained with a rope, "Waaah!" he yelped, he turned around, and saw Chelsea using a grappling rope at him.
"Yes, you did it, Chelsea." cheered Annika, but Otto broke free of the rope.
"You will pay for this!" shouted Otto, he fled and got away from the hunters.
"He's getting away!" exclaimed Annika.
"Don't worry, we got this," said Captain Read.
"Ahahah!" laughed Otto, running away from the team just as Jones showed up all of a sudden.
"Kessel, it's for your own good," said Jones, gripping his fist seriously just as Brightburn and Ronnie Hawk showed up.
"Ha! Nice try, you can't kill me now!" laughed Otto, pulling out a machete and preparing to kill the pets but Brightburn roared, sprinted toward Otto's hand, and bit him, tearing it off of him, he screamed in pain and dropped the machete, he tried to heal himself but to no avail since Brightburn is capable of dismembering inhuman beings, "Huh? Wait? How that's impossible! I'm indestructible!" he shuddered in pain, Annabelle and Luke walked up to Otto.
"We're the Supernatural hunters, we dedicated our duties to bringing peace between supernatural beings and humans. Surrender now!" explained Luke, asking Otto to surrender.
"Never!" refused Otto furiously.
"Have it your way!" gritted Annabelle, Brightburn hissed, flew toward Otto, and bit him again.
"Ha, see. I'm immune to that." grinned Otto evilly.
"Are we?" smirked Annabelle, soon the black vein appeared growing around his body.
"Ahhhh!" screamed Otto, Ronnie Hawk lunged at him and attacked him violently.
Back at the apartment unit, the children, Captain Read, and Rebecca gathered along with the hunters, they were sitting on seats with Annika sitting on the sofa with a trauma look on her face after five months of her ordeal in captivity by her captor, she was covered with a sheet to keep her warmed and calmed, she was still traumatized by him but felt more and more sorry for him as she saw his poor soul despite suffered a mental breakdown. Annika missed the real Otto who humbly appreciated her aid, eventually bonding with each other when she grew feelings for him even though she loved him for who he was, she shed her tears and sniffled inconsolably, worrying for Otto's life. She turned around and saw Scott cross his legs, close his eyes, and meditate on the floor as he used telepathy to see what happened to Otto, he opened his eyes and gasped, turning to everyone to tell the news about him.
"Any news about him?" asked Annika.
"Well, I saw Otto was on the run when he realized he would be caught by the police but then he was captured and killed by Brightburn and Ronnie Hawk," said Scott via telepathy.
"Oh Lord." sobbed Annika, but she was so relieved that her nightmarish ordeal was over.
"It's okay, everything is fine." consoled Scott.
