( AN: THIS CHAPTER IS WHAT HAPPENED THE NIGHT BEFORE)
the day was warm and windy, the hotel filled with chaos. this night was quite different, as lucifer had visited once again and this time by the bar. "Ah i'm quite glad that this bar exist, jeez i could use a drink or two. " lucifer sighs as he sits down on a stool. angel, who was drinking wine, looked over. " never knew the king of hell drinks alcohol! " angel laughed, husk shrugs. " just a little wine in my system can get me through this warm night."lucifer said with a smile, as he raised a hand. husk walks over to the bottle rack, and starts looking for a bottle.
small footsteps could be heard next to lucifer, he lifts his head up, and his smile turned into a frown. alaster, and his sly grin, was walking over. alaster sit down at a stool next to him. husk was now pouring wine into a small cup, alaster stares at husk, who nodds and gets another glass and poor's some too."ah, so you drink too?" lucifer sighs, cutting through the silence. " only sometimes, i can only allow myself to get a bit tipsy, can't have anyone catch me doing something silly cause of intoxication!" alaster explained grabbing the cup and taking a sip.
Lucifer takes his cup and chugs the whole thing, "heh, well, i mean, if you taking it in like that, maybe you COULD get a little more than tipsy!" alaster laughed, lucifer shrugged. "'nother one please." lucifer said placing the cup down, " at least i'm not afraid of being drunk." lucifer said, waiting for husk to finish pouring. " i'm not afraid, it's simply my choice, if you knew getting yourself drunk could cause you doing dumb things in public and could affect the public eye on you, would you do it?" alaster asked, slightly irritated . lucifer laughed , took the now full glass, and downs it.
"oh, okay i see!.." alaster smile grew as he goes in for another sip. "...your just scared of other peoples opinions! no wonder! and to think the radio demon of all people could simply just move on from others judgment but nope!" lucifer's statement made alaster spit out most of his wine mid sip. "WHAT?" Alaster said, his smile widden, his ears twitched. laughter tralied from husk, " ya know bambi, he ain't wrong.." angel giggled, radio static hummed around the lobby. "i' . .ANYTHING." alaster stated, that only caused husk and Lucifer to laugh more,even angel started to let out a small chuckle.
Alaster's cheek flushed slightly, how dare they laugh at him, and for what? something completely valid that showed NO weakines? they thought he was weak over something so silly?. " just because i don't want others to think of me as some pathetic no self-control drunkie, that dose NOT mean i'm afraid of what they think!" alaster tried to protest, lucifer covered his mouth, a few giggles escaping. angel shook his head, "Al that's EXACTLY what that means!" Angel said with a giddy smile.
a low growl was let out of Alaster, " jeez, maybe he doesn't drink much because, five or less drinks already gets him drunk!" Lucifer adds, Alasters ears Flatten and his eyes widen with anger. "FINE." Alaster abruptly yelled, as he slapped his free hand against the table. he chugged down the rest of his wine, and slammed the cup on the table. " let me show you the truth, if you could be sober long enough to comprehend." alaster responded after, " oh i know what your doing! hey husker, we got a bit of a competition, hit us up?" lucifer answered, he looks at husk, and hands husk his empty cup. " eh, these never end well..." husk said, taking both cups, " yeah, but wouldn't it be awesome to see how they don't end up well?" angel elbowed husk as he takes a look at the two determined demons.
husk couldn't help but crack a small smile, " heh, yeah! here yall go." husk said, giving the two there drinks. one last competitive glare at eachother, and there they go.
a few more than 10 drinks later, and the two were definitely not vary sober anymore. Alaster's head was against the table, his grip tight on the half empty cup, lucifer on the other hand was just staring at his empty cup with a drowsy look. " you doing alright guys." angel laughed. Lucifer only respond with a groan, and alaster said nothing. husk patted alaster on the back of his head, and Alaster suddenly,but slowly lifted his head, a small groggy smile plastered on his face. Lucifer looks over at alaster, "your face looks weird." Lucifer commented, Alaster glared at Lucifer with a annoyed tired look. "i-i'm not used to consuming this..m-much..wine.." Alaster muttered.
"hmm, just..j-just another reason i-i'm superior! " Lucifer smiled, alaster shook his head but stayed silent. " i suggest you two go to bed, as a drunkie myself, it's best to sleep this kinda stuff off while you can, im sure charlie wouldn't mind you staying for a night, you ARE her dad anyway." husk slowly nodded, " i suppose that would be..fine..at least that way, i can't do anything stupid.." alaster said, trying to get up, the first attempt he fell to the floor instantly. but he was able to use the bar to help keep him stable.
"heh, you not gonna make it to your room!" Lucifer laughed, but he fell too once he gets off the stool. angel hummed as he helped Lucifer get up. Lucifer straightens his coat and walks up the stairs to the floor of rooms, Alaster followed soon after. on accident alaster ended following Lucifer all the way to a random room, as Lucifer uses his magic to make a key to unlock it, he noticed alaster walking along the wall. " stop following me creep!" Lucifer said, " s-sorry? i-..seemed to be lost, i can't remember where my room is.." Alaster Explained, Lucifer sighs.
Alaster walks closer before falling on lucifer, who almost fell over. " W-WOAH" Lucifer Exclaimed as he tries to push Alaster off. "ehh~" Alaster sighs as he slowly lifts himself up. "okay, clearly you can't survived to trip back to YOUR room, so! i guess you can sleep with me.." Lucifer declared. Alaster just slowly nods, as Lucifer unlocks the room. it was a small red room with yellow accents, a small bed with pink blankets and pillows. Alaster was still barley able to use his magic, as he snaps his fingers and suddenly appears in blue pajamas, blue shorts and a long sleeve cloth shirt. Lucifer lets out a small shaky sigh, as he starts to take off his coat and shirt, a small blush forming.
"w-wait what are you doing?" Alaster asked, Lucifer was mid taking of his shirt, his pale white skin showing. " uh, taking off my shirt? so i can sleep?" Lucifer said, awkwardly. "no,no,no,no! i- i can't..we're not...you are not sleeping in same bed with me shirtless!" Alaster protested , and with the snap of his fingers, Lucifer was now in a oversized T-shirt, he could feel short fuzzy pants under. " oh really?" "uh, yes really! i'm not sleeping with a half naked man..." Alaster said. Lucifer rolled his eyes, and looks down at his oversized T-shirt, "uh..thanks for putting a duck on it at least." Lucifer shrugged as he holds out his oversized T.
Alaster was already in the bed, trying to get comfy within the pink puffy blanket. lucifer plopped on the bed, his tiredness getting to him. he squirms a bit, trying to fin the other end of the blanket so he can get in. once he finally found an opening, he ends up seeing something weird in the covers. other than the dark blue pajamas, he sears some weird red bulge, maybe some beetroot? no it looked fluffy, what could it be. he let his urge get to him, and he crawls in. he softly caressed this bulge, it was very fluffy and soft.
a soft low growl came from above, "Lucifer?..." Alaster mumbled, Lucifer paused. "u-um..yes?" Lucifer asked softly and nervously. "w-what are you doing?..leave me alone please.." Alaster sofly mumbled as his body shifts a little bit. "um..ok..but what is that? " lucifer asked, though he couldn't see it, alaster's ear flicked. "what is what?.." Alaster asked. " this thing..the red thing?" Lucifer asked, a small groan was made, "..you mean my tail?" Alaster softly scowled. " oh..didn't know you had one of those.." Lucifer said, his pupils dilate. he touches it again, this time the tail flicked as Alaster body turns around, and now Alaster was facing Lucifer within the covers..kind of.
"please stop, i'm trying to sleep..your not helping. " Alaster said rubbing his eyes, lucifer shrugged, then soon grew a cocky drunken smile. " ya know, you may be able to sleep better if you were in my arms!" Lucifer coed, Alaster let out a low growl as he glares at lucifer. "no.." Alaster muttered, Lucifer smiles wider. " oh come on~ your not scared are you? i thought you said you weren't scared of anything?~" Lucifer softly protested. a heavy sigh was let out from alaster.
he knew that Lucifer will never stop his yapping unless he gets what he asks so, alaster then took lucifer by the neck and brought him up to his face. Alaster arms rapped around lucifer, and his knees come in close. Lucifer wasn't expecting for alaster to really do anything, but can't halp and melt into the the touch. it reminded him of his wife, lilith. his long gone wife. how she would hug him in times of need, how she would caress his chin and pat his head. even if this wasn't for the same purpose, even if this wasn't with the same context. this feeling was sweet, he loved it, and could feel himself slipping away into slumber.
for Alaster on the other hand, he tried his best trying to just go to sleep, but can't help but feel something within him. he couldn't quite grasp it, but he felt some type of comfort, the warm and sweet feeling of having someone to hold onto. this was a nice feeling, a nice feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. a feeling of nostalgia crashed over him, making his sleep easier then it was before.
and as the night continued, the two fell a slumber.
