Everywhere and Nowhere - Chapter 1
1 AM
Alucard closed his eyes, savouring these few seconds. The familiar taste of Integras virgin blood hit his taste buds. Flashbacks ripped through the old vampires mind of when he first met integra. Remembering how much she impressed him, that little girl with such a brave, firey spirit. Interga is truly a magnificent human and the right person to be his master. He noticed there was some flavour of alcohol entwined in her blood that was new but it wasn't anything that bothered him. However, Alucard quietly wondered why Integra stayed a Virgin.
While Seras watched, a huge rush of excitement and relief ran through her. All these years the little Draculina waited for this delightful moment. She knew Alucards return will put some spirit back in Integra. Despite all these years Seras has tried to be there for Integra she knew there were some days it wasn't enough. She was also keen on how her master will view her after all these years. Seras has leaned so much and also made her master a little present for his return.
Pip came through in Seras Mind.
'chéri can i speak with you'
'Not now Pip, just let me enjoy this moment now my master has returned.'
'I know, but don't let this reunion make you forget everything that's happened. Alucard's absence has really affected you both.'
'I know all that Pip! I will speak to my master when I get a chance, but ...i just need this moment right now.'
Alucard opened his eyes and briefly glanced at Seras and noticed she didn't have the Hellsing bond on her.
"No Sigil?! Mmmmm... intresting."
"Since Seras humanity is still intact, I didn't need to use the bond on her. She's been right by my side during these 30 years..."
Integra stared warmly at her.
"She's been my guardian angel."
Seras smiled in awe at Integras kind words to her.
"Will my master still be tied to you, Sir?" Seras sqeaked out.
"That's a good question Seras, I don't believe we will get a straight answer tonight since Alucard is in a pretty complex situation." Integra lightly laughs.
Alucard's classic cheshirecat grin appears, he was both fasinated by his current circumstances and disappointed by the fact he doesn't have anywhere near as much power as he used to. However, a fresh start never hurt anyone. It could be fun.
Seras eyed him up and down using her third eye as well, but on that perspective it was like seeing his form bizarrely blink in and out of view.
Interga made a small yawn and rubbed her head, feeling the effect of the Alcohol from earlier still in her system.
"I am in need of more rest, you both go, loads to catch up on. I'll brief you with more details next evening."
Alucard bows his head and leaves with Seras. While Alucard casually phased through the wall, Seras used the door instead. This looked very symbolic to Interga when she watched them leave. Having Alucard return already made Integra feel more stable. She got comfortable in her bed before drifting off to sleep, this time with a smile on her face. Integra would never admit it, but she did see Alucard like family despite what he is.
Seras couldn't contain how giddy she was. Of course, with it being her master she does still have some shyness towards him, but right now all she could feel was her current excitement.
"Oh gosh master im so happy your back! Oh were do I begin! Sir integra and I have been doing so much. I actually managed to convince her to have a holiday! Can you believe that?"
He smiles and says nothing. They both walk off with Seras continuing to blabber on what her integra have been doing. While they were walking, the security cameras all focused on Alucard, like it developed curiosity. Alucard glanced to the side of a wall feeling a presence. He stopped walking and firmly placed a finger on Seras lips. The grand vampire looks around the hallway.
"Mmmm what is that?"
Seras made a muffle sound on his finger but Alucard ignored it. The other hand was placed on the wall and Alucards eyes glowed brightly.
"Ohh, i see what you've done Seras, well done."
He lunges his hand inside the wall and partly pulls Pip out.
"Hey what are you doing Mr Alucard?!" Pip shouted out.
Alucard grins.
"Nice to see you too Mr Brenadette."
Seras comes forward.
"Yes Master, Pip is the protection around the manor, before this new 'security' got installed in the manor."'
"Yes, i noticed."
He looks upwards towards the devices around the walls, he could see they are all viewing him.
"Hmm, nice to have somewhat of an audience for my return." Alucard chuckles, letting go of Pip and walks off.
"Let's go to the basement Seras. i am curious to what else you've learned over the years."
Seras eyes widened and sweat dropped. Pip pats her shoulder.
"Goodluck Chéri."
Seras gulped while watching her master de-materialise out the room.
'Don't keep me waiting, Police Girl.'
Seras sulks hearing her Master say that name again.
"Yes master."
- Deep In the basement area -
Seras flew down using her shadow as a wing. It was the quickest way since she didn't quite get teleporting mastered yet. Seras saw the door was still bound by shackles.
"oh, great"
'what are you waiting for?' Alucard speaks through Seras head.
'Master, I, ummmm'
'Don't disappoint me after i just returned, come through, now!'
His last word put a shiver down her spine. She closed her eyes and walked through the door hating the feeling it gave her, she could never get use to it that's why she always chose to use a door.. or window. When Seras fully came through, she watched her master inspect the room.
"If anything was removed thats because Integra was at a point...she, she stopped waiting for you to come back, despite my reassurance."
He glanced at his fledging.
"Integra is a strong women, she didn't need to wait. Neither of you did"
Alucard nelt down and gently touched his coffin not feeling the power of it as strongly as he use to, but saw the writing was in blood, his blood. Seras felt hurt by his words, she glances at the cube of concrete and saw the blood wasn't inside the pentagram anymore, just a hollow engraving.
"There was no certainty of when I'd return so I wasn't expecting you both to wait."
Seras felt Pip stire in her mind again.
"Seras now would be the time for that talk with Alucard oùi?"
Seras took a deep breath.
"Master there's something we need to discuss."
"No more talking. I want you to show me what kind of Draculina you've become."
"But, master you've just got back."
His eyes light up in glee.
"Yes, so its a perfect time."
Seras looked unsure. She wasn't sure why he was acting like those 30 years were just a blink in time.
"'Sir, no. There are something's that need to be discussed." Seras tried to stand her ground, but a part of her was shaking like a leaf.
Alucard turned fully around to face her. The look on his face made Seras freeze. His eyes, that hellfire. It was spiralling around and glowing, showing his anticipation. His hair extended and flowed like dancing shadows.
"If you impress me, i'll listen to what you have to say. Enough talk for now, show me what you got and don't hold back because I certainly won't."
Seras looked around to see the room was engulfed in pure darkness and her master was nowhere to be seen.
"M-master?"
The little Draculina could feel an uncomfortable prickling on her leg. When she looked down an immediate scream shot out her mouth as a swarm of centipedes crawling upwards, some even biting her skin.
"Stop it! STOP IT!"
She got her shadow arm to slice them off but the swarm only got bigger and thicker. Rising up inch by inch.
Seras couldn't help but panic and struggle to break free as the weight restrained her legs, her body lost balance and she fell to the ground.
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIGHT BACK IF YOU RESTRAIN ME LIKE THIS!" she shouted in protest.
The insects soon turned to shadow and the weight was lifted off her but the shadows still restrained her. Alucard soon formed back but on top of her.
"M-master, what are you doing!?" Seras looked at him in shock.
Alucard firmly held Seras face with one hand, their eyes locked. His firey gaze burned down to her crimson glowing stare.
"I did say I wasn't holding back. Now, prove to me your not a scared little girl anymore! Show me that you truly are a creature of the night! You will still have much to learn Seras so I want to know what talents you've unlocked so far."
His voice had a very inviting tone to it, almost alluring. For those few seconds she was at his very mercy, she had never been this close to him since she tried to rescue her master from Anderson. He soon let go of her and she was left in the dark room alone again, her mind racing about what his next move might be. Or was it hers?
To be continued.
