Exiting the elevator, we made our way over to the door with Zaalbar and Mission posting up to the right side of it and Carth and I on the left while Rika stood in the center. Opening the door, a droid started turning towards us. Taking out the Ion blaster, I shot it down, with everyone moving out into the hallway.

We stood in a hallway that went to our right, with plenty of doors going both ways. "If we came in from the rear, then the garage will have to be down this way." I said as I pointed down the hall. "But then again, I would like to clear out these Vulkars. To make it safer for kids who are growing up down here." I said as I looked at the armor on my back.

"Our goal is to get the accelerator, to get to Bastila." Carth said as he looked down the hall. "I would agree with you, but it would be best to get through this as fast as we could. If we can find a terminal, we might be able to download the schematics." Carth suggested, where I crossed my arms.

"Ok, then that is our goal. Find a terminal, get the schematics, find the accelerator, get out of here." I said as we started walking over to the first door to our right. Opening the door, we found a droid that was shut down.

Rika walked over to it, then started looking it over. "This is an old, broken down bartender droid. It's most likely been deactivated in preparation for disposal." She said as she started working on it. We watched as its eyes turned on, going from red to blue. "The droid is now active. It will attack any enemies that come to range." She said as she backed up. "I won't be able to get its weapons up, targeting systems, or its shields, but I have activated its patrol mode." She said as she crossed her arms.

"I can take care of that!" I said as I got behind it and opened the back of its head and started working on it. After a bit, the eyes turned red, and now held its blaster in its hands before walking away from me and going on patrol. "The droid is now set for maximum firepower, as well as the droids targeting systems. The shield was depleted beyond repair." I informed as it turned left and went towards the elevator.

Stepping out, we looked at it and it stopped at the doors to the elevator, standing there. Moving to the next room, we opened it to find it empty. Moving around the corner, we saw a terminal. Moving over to it, I saw that it was asking for a keycard to access. Trying to splice in, it rejected me right away.

"Security terminal, it's not going to let anyone in from here." I said as I moved over to the door and opened it, with me jumping out of the way of three turrets as they opened fire on me. Closing the door, I stood up. "Ok, so the doors unlocked, but it's clear on what the terminal controls." I said as I crossed my arms.

"So, let's go get that keycard!" Mission said as they started walking away. Going back the way we came, we opened the first door we came across. A Durros was on the other side cooking. He looked at us and then threw a butcher's knife at us.

I caught it and threw it back, hitting him in the head, watching as he fell backwards, dead. Moving in, Rika placed her ear against the door in front. "Someone's talking." She said as she drew her weapons, with us doing the same. She cut the droid down as soon as she opened the door, with the person screaming and dropping the tray she had.

"Please, don't hurt me – I just serve the food here, that's all! I'm not like these others – I'm not even a Black Vulkar. Please don't kill me!" The waitress said as she knelt down behind the table, her hands up in the air.

"How did you end up here in the Vulkar base?" Rika questioned as she pointed her sword at her, not trusting her.

"My name is Ada. My father owed Davik some money, but he couldn't pay. Davik killed my father and sold me into slavery here at the Vulkar compound to pay off the debt." She explained, with me thinking back to the rumors I had heard about Davik.

"Answer my questions and I'll let you go." Rika said, her tone ice cold. I poked the side of her head, with her looking at me in confusion.

"Don't worry about her, we just want to ask you a few questions, and then we will help you escape." I corrected, with Rika rolling her eyes.

"But I don't know anything! I'm just a prisoner here - a slave! The Vulkars don't tell me anything, they treat me like dirt, they beat me if I screw up their orders." She suggested, trying her best to get out of this alive and playing dumb.

"You may know more than you think, miss. Help us and we'll help you, okay?" Carth said as he walked over to her and helped her to her feet.

"Well… alright. I still don't know how much help I can be. But I sure hope you get rid of all the Vulkars. I hate them!" She said, believing in his words.

"Where can we find the prototype swoop engine accelerator?" Rika asked, putting her weapons away and crossing her arms.

"What? I… I've never heard of such a thing." She said, confused. "I guess it might be in the garage on the lower level – that's where all the Vulkars go to work on their swoop bikes. But I've never been down there. The elevator is protected by a security system – only the Vulkars are allowed to go down there."

"We're looking for a prisoner. A woman named Bastila." Carth asked, with her looking like she recognized the name.

"Is she that Republic soldier? I heard one of those Vulkar mention her, but she's not here. He said Brejik didn't trust his men around her. I guess she's too important to be a slave here in the kitchens, getting pawed and groped and kicked and spit on like me. Brejik must have taken her somewhere safe." She said, with him nodding.

"Right now the only way out is through the elevator to the back, but it's not safe. Wait a few and we will clear out the rest. Once that is done, you will be free to leave." I informed, with her nodding and walking over to the corner, flipping some tables to use as cover.

"Left opens the room that is next to us." Mission said as she looked at the door.

"Right will lead to the unknown, the same with up ahead. I said as we got ready as we went to the left door. Opening it, we entered the bar, with two droids inside and one Durros. The droid to the right turned and shot at Rika, but she slashed at the blaster bolt, sending it into the ground. The Durros charged at Zarrbak, but the Wookie picked him up and slammed him into the ground. The droid to the right fired at Carth, with me stepping in the way and using the armor on my back to deflect the bolt.

Mission shot down the droid to the right as it was the closest to us, taking it down. Turning around, I shot down the last droid, with it falling over, disabled. "So, that is pure Beskar?" Carth asked as he looked at the armor. "Goes for a rare price." He said, where I looked at it as well.

"How much does it go for?" Mission asked, with me looking at her.

"Depends on what you value your life at?" I said, with everyone tensing up. "To a Mandalorian, depending on their Clan House Hold, their armor is their life. There is even a tribe that follows the old ways, never removing it around others. Children of the watch, they do not seek out war, instead grow their numbers like a religion. They seek out refugees, and those who choose to follow, learn to live by their creed." I said as I looked at each of them.

"Children of the watch? I've never heard of them, and I was there during the Mandalorian Wars." Carth said, crossing his arms. "This creed, what is it? And what are the rules that they go by?" He asked, and it was a simple question.

"The Canons of Honor, it's composed of no fewer than four simple facets of life. Strength, Honor, Loyalty, and Death. To a Mandalorian, strength is equated with life. The strong have the right to rule and conquer the weak. If an opponent fought back then they were not seen as weak, even if they could not defeat the Mandalorians; the act of defending oneself instead of capitulation was seen as giving one both spiritual strength and honor." I informed as I took the armor off my back and set it in front of me as I knelt down.

"To anyone that is strength, but to simply go out of your way for war? No, that is idiotic, not strength! There is no honor in that!" Carth said, not happy with my information.

"To a Mandalorian, honor is very important. Honor is gained by fighting, no matter the odds or situation. Once battle is engaged, victory brought honor. And while defeat was not desirable, even fighting and losing gives honor to the defeated for at least they acted and fought. It was considered more honorable to die fighting than to survive through dishonorable means." I informed as I turned the armor to its side, showing a creature on its shoulder, though it was particularly melted away.

"Again, that is idiotic! Throwing one's life away? You're just looking for a way to die!" Carth said as he crossed his arms.

"Equally important to honor, is loyalty to one's clan. A Mandalorian is required to fight not only for his Mand'alor, but also for his aliit. If one's actions did not bring honor to his clan, then they held no place for being a member of that clan, or a Mandalorian, and became what Mandalorians called dar'manda." I said, closing my eyes. "It means soulless, someone who is ignorant of their heritage and thus have no place in the Mandalorian afterlife. The state of being dar'manda is regarded as a fate worse than death in the Mandalorian community." I said as I made a fist. "I am considered a Dar'Manda, but not because of my honor or loyalty, but because of my strength. I did not fight with my clan, as well as my sister." I said as I opened my eyes. "I can regain my right as a member of my clan, through battle, through war. My sister cannot as she is no longer Mandalorian, but Jedi. She was taken to become a Jedi after Revan saved us, and I returned to my clan, only for them to banish me." I said as I looked up at him.

"That's... harsh. From what I remember, you were kids, you have no right to be apart of the war." Carth said, sounding sympathetic.

"Death is another important part of the code." I said as I looked back at the armor. "Everyone dies. But what mattered to a Mandalorian Warrior is how a person dies. Did they pass on with Strength and Honor, or some other way?" I said as I placed a hand on the crest. "The Canons of Honor goes as follows. Strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule; Honor is life, for with no honor one may as well be dead; Loyalty is life, for without one's clan one has no purpose; Death is life, one should die as they have lived." I said as I crossed my picked up the helmet.

"I've heard the Mandalorian's on the battlefield speak the same thing, is that not the Children of the Watches creed?" He asked, with me nodding.

"Resol'nare. You will raise your young as Mandalorians — and defend them. You will wear our armor, and speak our language. And you will serve the clan, and rally when called. These are the Resol'nare — the Six Actions — sacred to our movement. Do them — and you may live to call yourselves Mandalorians!" I recited as I remembered. "In addition to the Code of Honor, Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne re-incorporated the Resol'nare into the facet of the Protectors. These Six Actions comprised the core tenets of being a Mandalorian: Wearing armor. Speaking the language. Defending yourself and your family. Raising your children as Mandalorians. Contributing to the clan's welfare. When called upon by the Mand'alor, rallying to his cause."

"They seem better than what we've seen, where were they during the war?" Carth asked, with me looking up at him.

"They don't seek glory of war, they protect when is needed, and that is our future, our faith." I informed as I put the armor onto my back. "Ba'jur, beskar'gam, Ara'nov, aliit, Mando'a bal Mand'alor— An vencuyan mhi." I said as I stood up. "Education and armor, Self-defense, our tribe, Our language, our leader— All help us survive." I said as I turned around and walked into the door that led us back to the elevator, ending the conversation.

Moving to the right, I opened the last door down this hall, with it leading to another hall. As soon as the door opened the droid started walking down the hall, where another one stepped around from the corner, we watched as the two had a small fight and took each other out.

Making our way down the hall, two Vulkars stepped around, checking on the grounds. Carth, Mission, Zarrbak and I opened fire on them, taking them out before they knew what happened. Moving over to them, I flipped one over and searched him, but could not find a keycard on him.

"Guess only a select few can get where we need." Carth said, with me agreeing and moving on. We passed two doors, with us opening them to find the bar and the room with the waitress. "It's clear Miss, get on out of here!" Carth ordered, with her getting out of her hiding spot and making a run for the main entrance.

Moving over to the room in the middle of the open area, I saw two droids standing guard. Rolling an ion grenade, I took both of them out. Looking across the room, I saw a terminal. Getting on it, I looked at everyone as they opened the door behind me and were going through the Armory.

It read SYSTEM LOADING… COMPLETE. ENTER COMMAND:

"Access security cameras." I said as I entered the command, with me getting all of the cameras up.

It then read SECURITY CAMERAS ACCESSED. ENTER COMMAND:

CAM-10B Barracks

CAM-10E Garage Elevator

CAM-10A Armory

CAM-10C Rec Room

CAM-10D Pool

CAM-10F Control Room

"Six cameras?" I said as I thought about what to look at. "Let's see who is in the Barracks." I said as I opened the camera up, seeing a large group of Vulkars hanging out together. "Oh, would be a shame if the room suddenly blew up." I said as I saw that I had access to a power conduit, which I self destructed, taking all of them out.

"What are you doing?" Rika asked as she stood next to me, looking at the screen.

"Cleaning house." I said as I opened CAM-10E Garage Elevator, with us seeing the three turrets. "Wouldn't it be nice if we just shut them down?" I asked as I did just that.

ELEVATOR TURRETS DEACTIVATED. It read, with Rika raising her eyebrow at this.

"Ok, that's impressive, but we need the keycard for the door." Rika said as I opened another camera, this one being CAM-10F Control Room, with us seeing only one person inside. "There!" She said, pointing at him as the others walked over. "He has to be important!" She said, with me nodding and looking to the left, at the door to the far side.

"Well, we know where he is." I said as I downloaded the schematics and made our way towards the control room. Once we reached the door, we opened it, with us seeing him jump up from his seat. We all aimed our guns, and Riki's swords, at him.

"I surrender! I surrender! Please, don't kill me. I'm not like these others. I'm not like Brejik and his new Vulkars!" He pleaded as he walked around the table with his hands up.

"What are you talking about? You're a Vulkar, aren't you?" I asked, confused on what was going on.

"I'm a Vulkar, but I was here long before Brejik took over. He explained as he dropped his weapons. I was a Vulkar back when it meant something. Back when we had honor. Then Brejik and his followers took over and turned our gang into a bunch of violent thugs and bloodthirsty punks. Now they treat all us original Vulkars like second class citizens. Take me, for example. I used to be one of the highest ranking Vulkars in the gang. Now I'm stuck on guard duty here in the back, all thanks to Brejik!" He said, speaking of pride to disgust.

"If you hate Brejik so much, why don't you leave the gang?" Carth asked, with me looking at him as it was obvious.

"I've been trying to work up the courage to leave, but it's not that easy. Brejik's followers will try to hunt down anyone who leaves the Vulkar gang. He says he won't let traitors live. Ha! Brejik and his followers are the real traitors. They turned on Gadon and now they slaughter the Beks in the streets… and anyone else they happen to run across. Brejik knows anyone with character will never willingly follow a leader like him, so he uses brutality and violence to stay in power." He explained as it wasn't obvious on what would happen.

"Where can we find the prototype swoop engine accelerator?" Rika asked as she lowered her swords, with us doing the same with our blasters.

"Right – that gadget Brejik stole from the Beks. He's got the accelerator in the basement garage. The only way down is by using the security elevator in the back of the base. But the security elevator is protected by auto-targeting laser cannons. You'll be vaporized before you ever get near it, unless you get your hands on a pass card." He informed, with me fist bumping Rika as we were right.

"Where can we get a pass card?" I asked, with him passing me his.

"Take it, I want no part in this mess!" He said as I caught it.

"We're looking for a prisoner. A woman named Bastila." Carth added, with him nodding.

"Yeah, right. You think Berjik would leave a trophy like that in here with this scum? He's got her stashed away somewhere safe, I'd guess. Somewhere outside this base." He informed, where we moved out of the way, where he took off.

"To the Garage!" Mission cheered, with us going back the way we came.
