Meanwhile, Ezekiel just stared over at that 'weird cat kid' or er...Owen? Who would try and eat a side of a countertop? It certainly didn't look yummy at all.

"Geez! He's always eating everything he sees!"

Leshawna stood beside Ezekiel, hands on hips with an annoyed pout on her face. He blinked, looking quite clueless. Should he respond in this situation?

"Yuh. But it kinda looks like a reallllyyyyy big chocolate bar?"

Turns our he can make a piece of wood appetising. Leshawna looked over to her side, slowly raising her eyebrow.

"oh, you..."

she mumbled. But Ezekiel didn't seem to hear, not at all. He was actually smiling widely at her.

"You eat chocolate?"

"If I'm good."

"I think you went into Owens mind!! Woooooo!"

"No I didn't!...can you do that?"

Leshawna felt herself mentally facepalm and her face scrunched up.

"Noo! Not actually! I mean like, you think like him."

Ezekiel's smile dropper and he pulled down the brim of his oversized toque over his eyes.

"oh, sorry..."

"why are you saying sorry?"

"sorry-"

"you did it again!"

it seemed like she couldn't handle people like him. She let out a groan of annoyance and stomped her foot, walking away from the situation entirely.

"Sorry..."

His voice was now barely a whisper as he watched sadly as she went over to some blonde girl, he didn't know her name. But she was the first one to notice him so...she seemed nice.

little did he know a crazy red-head was approaching him rapidly behind,

"uwahhhhhh! Gotcha!"

Izzy tried to piggyback onto Ezekiel's back as Ezekiel let out a yelp, he started to wobble backwards.

"we going backwards captain eeeeeeee!"

she just laughed before...he suddenly felt a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.

~~~~~~
All he could do was stare awkwardly, he supposed the girl getting scolded was the one to go on his back, he recognised her hands that were on his shoulders, they were all freckly, just like hers was.
And the other girl? Also did not know, she had skin the colour of his moms coffee(she always put a lot of milk in) and brown hair put up into pigtails, for who some reason was doing the adults job, weird.
Guess it was out of pure boredom, he always did it when he was bored.
He started to pick his nose.
"hehehehehahaha! He's picking his nose!~ like Harold!"
Izzy pointed and started to laugh more! How was she not tired of all that?
"wut?"
He stared at her confused, finger STILL in nose. Courtney just gave him a disapproving shake of the head.
"oh..."
Ezekiel stuck his finger out of his nose. Even he can tell that wasn't a good move
"Did no one tell you that's dirty?"
Courtney asked, eyeing him up and down. He wanted to try and stay somewhat optimistic even though he felt a huge dread overwhelm him. But he perked up and spoke,
"No, what's your name?"
His smile grew again as Courtney raised her eyebrows. Izzy was first to answer(even if the question wasn't directed at her,)
"E-Scope! Not her tho-me! E-Scope!"
"That's a weird name."
Ezekiel tilted his head in confusion as he watched Izzy giggle mischievously, like those villains he saw on TV he'd watch when his parents wasn't around.
"Cause it's not! It's Izzy. And I'm Courtney"
"She's a meanie isn't she?"
Izzy whispered to Zeke, leaning over to do so.
"Yeah...Izzy, E-scope...huh?"
Izzy clapped her hands excitedly when he said her 'name'.
"I don't wanna be in this conversation!"
Ezekiel felt sad to see her walk away this time. He wasn't fully sure if it was his fault or not but that's the second time someone has done that!
"Huh why'd she-"
"Hehehehe you're silly!"
"No I'm not I'm Ezekiel."
And why was he silly? He looked around again before looking back at Izzy.
"Hey! Let's do a staring contest."
"Er...ok."
He didn't know how good at it he would be, but no one else wanted to willingly talk to him other than her, E-scope. So...his fate has been decided.
~~~~~

"The others don't seem to like your son?"

While Chef thought he said something harmless, Mary was staring at him like a hawk. Guess she didn't appreciate the comment.

"Well I do homeschool him...and he has no siblings to talk to."

Mary put her hands to her chest, close to her heart as she let out a long sigh.

"Me and my husband believe he should be brought up with the highest education we can try and offer him."

He's barely even school age though? And he can barely even talk to others...Chef kept that to himself.

"Have you actually considered public school, private school...any type of school for that matter when he gets older?"

Mary seemed to stay silent on that topic. He can't blame her, why is she discussing her sons education with some stranger?

"You'll have to ask my husband."
