Hello to all, this is REDO Chapter 5 FINAL that follows the events of Chapter 58-73 of Volume 2!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.

Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!

Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Chapter 5: Love and Hope!

The remaining days before the tournament was Yugi distancing himself from Ichigo, both not wanting to worry her and also not wanting to see her. If he does; it would depress him more than usual. The others notice the tricolor head's gloom, trying to cheer him up but he tries to be strong, needed to be ready for the tournament.

It's also when Erika asked him out, actually talking to him about her visions. Being able to see fractions of the future; Erika admits some things about herself and her fears… but also her own feelings for him. Yugi doesn't accept them because it would hurt Ichigo and himself. Erika smiled, not surprised as she too feels the same for Ichigo; explaining how they met and how she views her as a sister, maybe a lover but to her, Ichigo means a lot.

''If something would happen to me, please protect her.'' Erika asks him, aware through her visions that she will fight Deep Blue and meet her grim end. So, in her final day, she'll try to convince Yugi to trust his feelings for Ichigo and not let him know what happened to Masaya that the aliens attacked them when they were relaxing on a picnic and it got to him, now gone missing. She knows it's too late to save her brother and if she tells Yugi or Ichigo; they'll no doubt stop her and try another way to save him. But she knows there is no other way and this is her problem. Even though they weren't blood siblings; Erika still cares for her brother and will always be there for him… even if she must put him down.

Yugi doesn't suspect a thing but he has a bad feeling nonetheless.

The day finally arrived for the finale of Battle City V3. Yugi has arrived at the Kaiba Stadium to prepare for the tournament, unaware that the Aliens has unleashed almost all of their Chimera Animas to stop the Mew Mews and stall for time for their God's awakening. Ichigo and the other Mew Mews, as well as the others dragged along, fight their way against the mutated animals. What made things worse is that the Aliens also sealed Tokyo from the whole world, forcing the combination of Sonic and Shadow's teams to break through this bubble to help the others.

Erika finds Masaya but so do the aliens. She engages them in her Mew form to save him… but it was already too late. Masaya's eyes glow and let out a shout so loud as a torrent of blue energy shoots upward into the sky. His energy spreads across all of Tokyo with Yugi unaware since the bubble is blocking his aura sensory.

''Masaya… forgive me.'' Mew Erika utters with tears dripping from her eyes, watching as her brother vanishes and in his place is the cold, ruthless, unemotional alien with dead cold eyes and long black hair; his outfit matching the Blue Knight's but slightly darker. Deep Blue has been revived.

Biting her lips at her hopelessness that her brother is lost, she fights the Alien God who tries to turn her to join his side with a cold gaze. Erika hisses madly, refusing to join him as she would rather die than become his tool. The two engage but due to Erika's human nature and Deep Blue's limitless energy; she loses badly.

In that fight, Sonic and Shadow's groups use a dangerous plan to shatter the barrier though it weakened both hedgehogs. With the barrier gone, Yugi sensed everything that happened and it horrifies him. He immediately runs off to reach his friends and is intercepted by Kaiba. Fully aware of the situation, he postponed the finals so they can deal with this problem.

''Kaiba-kun.'' Yugi utters happily only for Kaiba to scoff and correct him. ''Remember I'm doing this so you can beat that dragon and you don't lose your title to anyone but I!''

Yugi smirks, accepting that as a ''You're welcome''. They headed out in Seto's experimental Ferrari 720 with a Blue-Eyes theme. The two drive off with intense, insane speed.

Erika's life was nearly cut down by Deep Blue if not for the arrival of Naruto, returning after healing his wounds from beating an Akatsuki member with his new power. Erika smiles, thanking him and explaining the situation.

''I got it, Erika-chan!'' Naruto begins to say as he grabs and tightens his headband, smirking confidently. ''Guess we better save your brother with all we got, ya know!''

Mew Erika agrees as the two try to fight and yet Deep Blue still proves too powerful. The others finally arrived and Naruto had to blah his mouth to reveal the truth. It shocks everyone but most importantly, horrifies Ichigo, speechless with a look of disbelief yet dismay.

''Darn it Naruto!'' Erika complains angrily as does the Inner Scorpion telepathically to her host; angry this idiot had to reveal that.

Not having a choice, the combined group tries to fight Deep Blue to stop him. Betting everything on a final attack, Naruto creates the Rasenshuriken and with everyone helping him; he almost lands it until Mew Ichigo stops him and blasts everyone away.

''I-I… I can't let Masaya-kun die!'' She yells out, sobbing as she's never been so confused in what she should do. To protect her friends and the world... or kill the boy she loves more than... than... That destroys their last hope as the heartless Alien God now has his sight upon Ichigo.

At the same time, Yugi and Kaiba arrive but their path is blocked by Chimera Animas. Unease by his current emotional state, Yugi tries to fight them but the monsters are handled by Shadow Knight. This also reveals that it was Shadow Knight who gave Kaiba the Blue Demon the Torment Dragon. He orders the two to go forward and face Deep Blue. However…

''Dragon Knight Yugi…'' Yugi stops, turning around to face the masked knight. Shadow Knight looks back at him silently as he finally says with a rather inspired tone. ''Remember that regardless of how one views others, one's bonds are something precious. You should never turn your back from them even if fate comes in between. That choice, that resolve; is yours and only yours.''

Yugi is startled by his words, almost like he's referring to his problem with Yin-Yang Dragon… and about his problems with Ichigo. He looks at him, wondering who he is, what he is and why he is helping him.

He doesn't question him as he nods and he and Kaiba rush ahead… and just in time as Deep Blue prepares to cut down the terrified, confused cat girl until the young Dragon Knight intercepts and the two lock eyes.

''Sir… Dragonaun.'' Deep Blue says to himself in his mind, his vertical slit pupils narrowing with such disdain. Yugi glares back as their sword grinds against the other, sparks flying out.

He doesn't need to be told who this was or what happened to Masaya; just reading his aura confirms to Yugi that Deep Blue is a villain and one who doesn't care who he kills or dies.

''I won't forgive you for using Masaya-kun like this, hurting my friends, making Erika-kun suffer and scarring Ichigo-kun!'' Yugi begins to proclaim furiously, pushing him back as he twirls his sword and aims it forward with one hand. ''I will beat you down and save everyone!''

Deep Blue glares calmly as the two clash, sword against sword. Everyone, including the Dark Lord watching this from back in Domino. Akumu grins, looking forward to who will live or who will die. And if Yugi survives; he'll have his fun wiping him off.

The fight between the Dragon Knight and the Alien God continues as their blades clash over and over with Yugi showing his growth as a swordsman. However, it becomes futile as Deep Blue begins to release more of his power and worse that Yugi has been holding back with his swings and power. But as the fight rages, Pai begins to form doubt in his mind about his loyalty.

Yin-Yang Dragon tries pleading to Yugi to use their power but he refuses, not wanting to go berserk again and fearing if he uses that power might lose them both. Instead, he fights in a losing battle getting the best out of him. Atem, however, makes his own choice as he asks Yin-Yang Dragon to help him. The dragons argue… but they are obviously playing along as they eye each other.

''If he is not worthy of our power. If he dies using our power?'' Yin Dragon begins to question that possibility; not wanting to admit it but he doesn't want that kind meat bag of a human to die because of them. Yang Dragon feels the same but also tells his other half. ''… I still believe in Takao-san's wish. We believe in that wish, brother! Regardless, we mustn't be afraid.''

The two dragons eye the other and ultimately Yin Dragon sighs, nodding to the Pharaoh's request. They give him a spark of his energy as he takes control of Yugi's body when he can't move to save him. Yugi is shocked he did that but he and Yin-Yang Dragon reveal why. ''WE ARE YOUR PARTNERS!''

This staggers Yugi heavily as the two-headed dragon reveals the truth, the actual truth and it shocks him. He… he starts to get it from what Shadow Knight told him. Not just him but they do care for him. They wouldn't lie if it was to protect his feelings. He slowly smiles, thanking them. ''… Thank you.''

The two-headed dragon startled before they smiled. Yugi breathes as he begins to ask Atem. ''You once told me that my Kindness is my real power.''

The Pharaoh looks at him and nods. Yugi breathes calmly as he begins to speak mentally. ''I don't want to let the power of hate, anger and fury consume me. I'll let it become fuel for my kindness; a power to help others than just be a tool of destruction.''

He must accept it so he can change himself, to trust in his bonds and on those depending on him to win.

''Lend me your powers again, Yin-kun, Yang-kun.'' Yugi calls out, needing their help. The dragons smile/grin as they do so. Yugi focuses, breathing before he lets out a roar, a red aura wrapping and explodes across his body. He once more enters Yin-Yang Dragon Mode but his appearance is more normal with the exception of his glow, red slit dragon eyes filled with such power and aura of fear upon those who are his enemies and comfort for his allies like an undying flame. He reacts to Deep Blue and without trying, strikes him back badly with such power.

This shocks the Alien God and the others with the Inner Scorpion revealing to Erika that Yugi has done it.

''True Yin-Yang Dragon Mode.'' Atem mutters telepathically from what the two-headed dragon told him. This is the true power of this form when Yugi accepts rage and kindness; a step towards dragonhood.

Deep Blue is staggered by this power as the other Aliens try to fight this empowered Yugi but he easily handles and stops Taruto and Pai peacefully, refusing to hurt them even if it makes him weak. However, Deep Blue tries to kill Yugi even when he's about to kill the small alien. Yugi saves him and watches as Pai is shocked violently for questioning his god's decision.

''You're a smart guy, Pai-kun. That's why I know you understand that he doesn't care what happens to you, your family or your people.'' Yugi proclaims with a small smile, even though they are enemies; he won't let him be used by someone worse. ''When this is over, I'll make it up though! Promise!'' As he runs back and fights against the alien god.

Pai watches confused but it's Jonouchi and the others who reveal that Yugi's kindness is what humanity should strive for; to care for others and never give in to hate and despair. For the first time, the smart alien realizes his mistake.

Yugi prepares to end Deep Blue and save Masaya with a plan but it's intercepted by Mew Ichigo, now forcing the two to fight each other. Kisshu watches this and for once; not entertained. This isn't how he wanted things to go down either; suspecting his concerns about his God he always had.

The two fight but Yugi is the one to stop it and yet Ichigo refuses to lose the person she loves, the one she's loyal to, the one-

''BUT YOU LOVE EVERYONE!'' Mew Ichigo's eyes widens as she looks at Yugi and his oddly sad dragon eyes, frowning just as sad as he gets her pain but also how she's denying that love she has for everyone. He expresses that all the pain she's done to protect him has hurt everyone else and he hates that because Ichigo fights to protect love; not to spread more suffering.

He then explains the story of the first Battle City when he had to duel a brainwashed Jonouchi to the death and he chose to save him over himself. He would do that for anyone because his friends, those close to my heart, are special to him.

''And that's why I will save Masaya-kun even if I have to beat him down to wake him up!'' Yugi proclaims, going to save him by any means, not for the right thing but to protect her smile. ''Because he means so much to you! Because seeing you cry is unforgivable!''

The cat girl stares at him in disbelief, silent and shaken.

''I swear it…'' Yugi begins to say as he smirks with a voice of determination like a roar. ''I WILL SAVE HIM!''

Mew Ichigo stares at him and begins to cry, realizing the complete fool she's been. Yugi turns around, glaring at Deep Blue as he will-

''… Your vows never come true.'' Yugi is visibly shocked that the alien just spoke and he said that. He growls as he comes at him and the two clash blades, sparks flying out.

''SHUT UP! Because of you…'' Yugi begins to growl angrily at the unemotional, coldheart alien as he roars furiously, pushing forward as his dragon eyes burn enraged. ''I WON'T TOLERATE YOU HURTING ANYONE ELSE, ESPECIALLY ICHIGO-KUN AND MASAYA-KUN!''

Ichigo watches helplessly, not sure what to do. Mint has to snap her out, slapping her and expresses that Masaya is in just as much pain to bring harm to his world. She tells her to get up and fight for the world they love too, the world that Yugi is fighting for! The world that he might-

''No…'' Ichigo utters with a sensation of terror, not going to forgive herself if she lost him. She soon eyes Mint and tells her kindly.

''Thank you, Minto. He's not just my friend…'' She soon dashes back to the fight with a bright smile on her face. ''HE'S MY KINDEST FRIEND NYA!''

With her resolve restored, Mew Ichigo and Yugi fly into Deep Blue's flying base while everyone else is forced to fight the hybrid Chimera Anima; the strongest one.

''Yugi-kun…'' As they run across the long hallway, Mew Ichigo begins to apologize for what she's done but Yugi chuckles, already forgiving her because he knew she was in pain. "Don't worry. I get it!"

Sometimes, the two realize how much they know the other for only knowing each for a few months as if they knew each other much longer. Still; they're happy just being together. The two smile as they become serious and dash forward, heading towards the command station.

Rushing in, Yugi and Mew Ichigo arrive at the command base of the ship as well as Deep Blue's throne room; staring at him sitting at his chair. It's where Deep Blue reveals what he is and how he ended up in the condition, explaining that he was haunted by his enemies and to escape from them; tortured by one of his enemies. He then explains that he chose to die but not his soul and power; becoming dormant as his body would reincarnate into the human they call Masaya Aoyama so one day he would claim his body back.

''They humiliated me and left me dormant for too long.'' The alien expresses, glaring as he imagines their figures. One silhouette resembles who would be later called Mew Blackberry; another who devour his world all while he laughed in amusement of his cruelty and greed and the third had a pair of demonic moth wings and glowing, demonic red eyes as his laughter is of nightmares and mockery... for killing his princess and damning him to this life.

''And that justifies attacking this planet and everyone on it! How will that save your people?!'' Yugi demands, irritated and mad at his way of thinking only for the cold-hearted alien to reveal his true allegiance. ''… They too will perish.''

The two are shocked as Deep Blue reveals he will destroy this once beautiful planet, corrupted by not just the humans but also his own kind and then he will pass judgment upon them next. This is everything that Masaya doesn't stand for, causing Mew Ichigo to protest upsetly. ''We won't let you do that! Masaya is-''

''He is nothing more but an illusion of the real me.'' Deep Blue protests, revealing he is nothing more but a fake doppelganger. This enrages the two as Mew Ichigo yells out madly. ''THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE A LIFE!'' She calms down and proclaims. ''Masaya-kun loved this world and everyone on it!''

''We won't let you do as you want using him!'' Yugi agrees with her, not going to allow another Zorc to use the body of someone who's nothing like him for his purpose. He raises his Dragon Sword at him, shouting loudly. ''WE'LL BEAT YOU!''

''… You will fail, Sir Dragonaun.'' Blue Deep simply utters out to Yugi's annoyance, calling him that name again. Why?

The Dragon Knight and the Mew Mew engage the alien with all they had, working as a team to beat him but Deep Blue still overpowers them. They are unaware that this ship allows Deep Blue to harness his full power with all the Mew Aqua within his body, building and growing.

Yugi and Mew Ichigo breathe heavily, unable to do anything. That's when Kisshu appears, seemingly loyal to Deep Blue until he tries to double cross him but it fails. It angers the green haired alien, refusing to become the pawn of an unfit God who cares nothing for their kind or the planet they're trying to fight for. Instead, he realizes his mistake and plans to kill him… but Deep Blue's powers are too much.

''Kisshu!'' Mew Ichigo screams as Kisshu grunts in pain, looking at her and grins. ''Hey, what can I say… I'm not so much of a bad being after all?''

Yugi and Mew Ichigo try to protect him using their best combination attack but Deep Blue swipes it like nothing. Desperate as he can't give up for Ichigo, Yugi summons forth all the power that Yin-Yang Dragon can provide him; transforming into a one-tailed version of Naruto's Kyuubi Cloak Form but using a dragon's appearance

Even with this stronger form, Yugi is barely doing any damage to Deep Blue as he concludes. ''You're still the same. That strength of yours is also your weakness and now…'' As he charges directly to Ichigo with his sword in a piercing pose, enhanced by Mew Aqua. ''I WILL KILL IT!''

Yugi widens his eyes in terror, reacting on impulse as he intercepts and takes the piercing blade through his chest. Ichigo watches with stunned, horrified eyes as Yugi hits and slams Deep Blue away. He smiles before he gasps in pain, his chest bleeding out heavily as blood leaks out from his mouth. He turns around and forms a small smile before he struggles to remain standing before he falls backwards and hits the ground. Kisshu is speechless, about to jump in but he saved her first. He always saves her.

Gasping in horror, Ichigo begins healing Yugi as fast as she can but it isn't working as the wound is too deep, even cutting off the tubes to his heart. He gags out blood, forcing Mew Ichigo to give it more of her all, pleading- begging as tears drop across her cheeks. ''DON'T DIE NYA! PLEASE DON'T-''

''I-It's okay… Ichigo-kun.'' She pauses with a terrifying expression, looking down at the bleeding Yugi and he's just smiling, weakly and looking bad. Yugi can feel Yin-Yang Dragon's energy healing his wound but it's too deep in; confirming they can save him. So… in his final moments, he can reveal something he's been hiding to Ichigo that he remembered after his duel against Kaiba.

''I-I… At least…'' He begins to utter, struggling to speak as each time he does; his chest hurts but this pain means nothing if he can… if he can tell her how much she means to him. ''I saved you again like all those years ago, huh.''

Mew Ichigo looks at him, both frozen up and confused as she utters out angrily, watching him suffocate in his own words. ''W-what are you talking about Nya?! You have to stop talking so-''

''I remember... why I feel so connected with… you…'' Yugi resumes speaking in a struggling voice, gasping heavily. He knows this is his only chance to tell her how much she means to him and he'll endure any pain so he can express his feelings for her. He slowly cracks a smile, uttering out. ''Because you're… the girl I met… all those… years ago…''

Mew Ichigo slowly widens her eyes in disbelief. He uses all of his strength to hold his right hand towards her, lifting up his pinkie finger as it struggles to remain in place.

''S-sorry… I couldn't…'' He begins to apologize to the promise the two made long ago. ''Keep my… promise to… to… to you…''

He gags out another amount of blood as he tries to use all of his strength to hold his arm held up. ''I… Ichigo-kun… I… I…'' He begins to utter in failed attempts, needing her to remember.

And it would work as Ichigo slowly begins to remember everything. She remembers coming to Domino as a little girl in the Summer, her father looking for a job, how she felt lonely and defenseless when some kids were picking on her due to her short hair and then he appeared. He came saving her when those bullies would have done more damage to her. At first she suspected he was with them but she was very wrong; he was just as alone as her. Feeling bad, she asked him to play with her and they got to know each other… that's how she met Yugi when they were kids.

They were together all Summer, playing anything to pass the time on those hot days and when she began to like-like him a lot. He was like her knight in shining armor and always smiling, causing her to smile back. She asked him to make a big promise to her that they would like-like each other forever and he promised, smiling yet nervously in his own cute way. It was also when he gave her the first red ribbons she would use to tie up her pigtails. She felt so happy, so deeply happy… but those Summer Days ended when her family left when her dad finally got a real job in Tokyo. So they moved out the next day and… she never saw him- No, she did; she saw him running after her when she was in the car driving away. She cried that she would never see him again… and now it is repeating all over again.

She tries to reach out to Yugi, lifting up her own pinkie pie to cross with him but it is too late; Yugi's hand drops and he falls.

''…'' Ichigo looks down with a stunned, horrified expression with blank eyes.

''D-don't leave me…'' She begs of him softly, needing him alive. No response as the Mew Mew snaps and slams her Strawberry Bell onto his chest, blasting him with magical healing attacks like a defibrillator, shocking him with all of her love. She promised as tears dropped in her eyes; she promised him!

''Please…'' She pleads again, sobbing as she shocks him again but no response. ''PLEASE!''

No response as Kisshu watches with a frown, looking away.

''… D-Don't leave me again…'' She starts to utter out, dropping onto her knees. She breathes heavily, dropping her Strawberry Bell as she grabs on her head and sobs heavily before she loses it and lets out a painful, dreadful scream. ''YYYUGGGGIIII-KUUUNNN!''

Commercial Break:

Watching afar, Shadow Knight stares at the large battleship as his hand squeezes on his arm that he's squeezing; knowing this next part will be Ichigo's test if she can control her.

Ichigo is unaware that the last stroke of energy allowed Yin-Yang Dragon to begin to use their regeneration ability to heal the wound; something they lack due to Yugi's weak connection to them. But from Ichigo's point of view, she lost him. She looks down with a face of anguish that she doesn't know what she is anyone, empty and hollow; like how she used to be when she was little. She was… all… alone. Again, no one but that abyss. And in that moment of her despair; she awakened from her dormant sleep: The large tiger-like figure within Ichigo's soul.

''Why, you are never alone, Ichigo~'' The cat girl startles as a voice speaks to her, sounding so kind yet seductive. Soon Ichigo's eyes begin to glow as she lifts her head up and sees Deep Blue pulling himself out of the wall.

''He took him from you. He stole your one true love.'' The voice echoes in her thoughts, purring as Ichigo's eyes are fixated upon the alien who took her Yugi. ''Show him… what real power is. Break him~''

Ichigo snaps as her eyes glow even brighter.

''What a foolish final stand, Sir-'' Deep Blue begins to mock the Dragon Knight's last stand only to get kicked across the face, skidding across the ground. He groans, pulling up to see it was Mew Ichigo who moved so fast to kick him like that.

''Don't you dare…'' Beginning to utter angrily, squeezing her fists; Mew Ichigo loses her temper and lets out a loud scream of anger. ''Talk down to my Yugi-kun!'' A surge of dark pink energy erupts across her body, releasing such pressure that Kisshu and even Deep Blue can sense. It was monstrous, almost similar to Mew Erika's.

''Now…'' As Ichigo's firm, cold expression slowly shifts into a twisted, Cheshire cat grin as her pupils become slit and sharp like a cat yet menacingly and glowing. ''Get ready to pay for what you've done, Nya~ For my Earth's Future…''

Kisshu watches speechless and horrified as Ichigo is beating down at the stunned Deep Blue, gasping as the cat girl is showing no mercy with her kicks and punches all while she has a crying yet vicious sadistic grinning face. He proceeds to electrocute her but Ichigo catches and absorbs the electricity into the palm of her right hand and controls it.

''This is the chirp that my love sings for. The bonds… my pain~'' Mew Ichigo begins to chant, both menacingly yet seductive before becoming calmer and passionate as she clenches her fingers and taming the electricity. ''My Ribbons that will change our Fate and shatter them!'' The electricity turns pink and reshapes into resembling ribbons.

''RIBBON CHIDORI!'' She yells out as she dashes forward with such speed and agility, evading Deep Blue's lightning and then sword swings before she slams her hand across his chest and releases the powerful electric attack throughout his body. He lets out a painful scream, taking a step back as he gasps in such pain as his eyes start changing.

Mew Ichigo breathes heavily, the right glove that used that move is burned partly but she ignores it as she declares with a smirk, going to strike him deeper. ''Next time, I'm stabbing you-''

''I-Ichigo…'' Ichigo staggers back as Deep Blue lifts his head up and instead of him; it was Masaya. His skin was back to what it was and had brown eyes. ''Masaya-kun…'' She utters with relief to know he's still with her as whatever possessed her vanished or drifted away with her eyes shifting back to normal.

Masaya explains that her last attack disabled Deep Blue temporarily so they're running out of time. He can't forgive himself for all that he's done and asks her to put an end to it. He needs to die so the world can be saved. Ichigo can't; she won't if he can still live. Masaya yells at her to do it because he loves her and he can't forgive himself for killing someone she loves more. Ichigo cries before she utters out. ''No… even if I loved him more, I also love you like everyone else. You don't deserve to die like this! No one nice, no one good should die for the better good! It's not fair Nya!''

Masaya eyes her and just smiles saddened. He prepares to take his own life but Deep Blue takes over and tries to strangle the Mew Mew. Kisshu panics, too weak to save her.

''NOW DIE ALONG WITH HIM!'' An enraged, berserk Deep Blue yells furiously, choking the life out of the cat girl who gasps, struggling to remain focused as all she can think of is her hero who she couldn't save and now she'll see him again. ''Yugi… kun…''

Yugi wakes up in a distorted world that resembles Domino but everything is nearly destroyed. He looks around him but snaps out as this isn't the real world and he can't be here right now.

''Ichigo-kun needs me.'' He says, needing to save her but before he can; a voice speaks up. ''Do you plan to save her, knowing it will only create more pain?''

The tricolor head startles, turning and sees the dragon armored figure resembling a knight, standing there. ''W-who are you?'' Yugi questions him unease, not recognizing him and yet finds him familiar.

''I am a knight with a sinful name, the original Dragon Knight…'' Sir Dragonaun utters with a voice of disgust for his own name and all the failure he brought upon it. He now gazes upon Yugi and insults his existence. ''And you are a boy unfit to the title or to save her.''

Yugi glares, about to say something but then he feels her; needing him.

''I don't care.'' He proclaims calmly, staring determinedly as he doesn't belong here. ''She's calling out to me and I must save her!''

''…'' Sir Dragonaun remains silent before he scoffs and turns his back on him.

''Do as you wish. Despair awaits you.'' He proclaims as he walks away but then stops, pausing before he asks of him. ''… Do not let her die.''

Yugi doesn't reply; confused by that guy. Why does he care?

He shakes his head, turning and staggers heavily to see an energy serpent body form of a dragon, floating before him as its purple eyes glows upon him.

''Now what the heck are you?'' Yugi utters, bluffed by what is even going on. The spirit-like dragon floats around Yugi, staring down at her before the creature speaks with a woman's voice. ''I am the blade and you are the wielder.'' She spirals around and becomes a bright light, shining upon him as she asks her. ''Are you ready to start roaring, Dragon Knight Yugi?''

Yugi watches the energy take on the form of a sword and he smiles, nodding. ''I am because Ichigo-kun and everyone are waiting for me!'' He reaches out and grabs onto it as the whole world shines.

Deep Blue is about to choke the life out of Ichigo until a fist slams itself across his face and sends him flying away from her, releasing her. Mew Ichigo gasps, dropping on her knees and looks up; her eyes once more shaken and stunned. It was Yugi; his wound all closed up and smiling towards her.

''…'' The two stare at the other in silence, feeling awkwardly, before Yugi breaks the silence with a hand wave. ''Hi.''

Mew Ichigo looks at him, almost not believing it. She stands up and walks up to him, looking at him and even taps his nose. She gasps as she can feel him, smiling… before she slaps him across the face as she shouts angrily. ''BAKA!'' Yugi staggers back with a stun expression as Ichigo smacks him in a wild temper, yelling energetic yet still mad. ''YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING BETTER THAN A DAMN HI, NYA!''

Yugi eyes her and slowly smiles, nodding as he corrects himself. ''Then… I'm back, Ichigo-kun; thanks to you.''

The cat girl stops and looks at him, blushing warmly. ''Yugi-kun…''

Kisshu groans, not believing this. If it's not that human who is actually Deep Blue that gets under his skin; then it's this other human who always gets Ichigo's attention.

''HEY! A LITTLE LATE!'' He yells at Yugi, more concerned in dealing with his evil twisted god. Yugi agrees with Kisshu as he walks forward, gazing at Deep Blue who has a furious, freaking-out expression by the hit he got from the human he just put down.

''Why?'' He begins to question before his eyes narrow at Yugi, staring at him with a look of disappointment that enrages him further, yelling out in demand. ''WHY ARE YOU STILL ALIVE TO MOCK ME, SIR DRAGONAUN?!''

Yugi just glares, having had it with him as he proclaims. ''I'm done with you and abusing Masaya and making Ichigo-kun suffer.'' He raises his Dragon Sword and his other hand over the flat side of his sword. ''No more. Level up.''

His sword shines and erupts in energy, transforming into a half-size claymore as Yugi twirls it and shouts out passionately, raising the sword over his head. ''DRAGON SLAYER!''

Ichigo is speechless as is Kisshu; his Dragon Sword evolved! Akumu can feel that and grins really excitedly. ''Good boy, good. You are worthy of killing after all.'' He somewhat praises Yugi.

Deep Blue is shocked as Yugi comes charging with the half size claymore, slashing and overpowering the Alien so badly with his improved strength, speed and power. But Yugi knows this fight will truly end if Deep Blue- it then hits him as he turns to Kisshu after sending Deep Blue crashing into his throne chair, shattering it by the crash.

Yugi doesn't want to win like this, needing to free Masaya first. He turns to Kisshu and questions him. ''Deep Blue's soul is made out of pure energy, right?''

''Yes, basically.'' Kisshu responds, blinking as to how that will help them. Yugi smirks as he breathes and advises Ichigo to pull out the Mew Aqua Rod. She doesn't follow but he says to trust her and she smiles, nodding.

Yugi now comes right at Deep Blue once more. The two clash but Yugi is on full offense, overpowering him over and over until he times it and kicks him backwards as he raises his blade, engulfed in energy. Deep Blue swings and fires a Dark Indigo energy wave at him but Yugi; he smirks as he responds back with a passionate roar as his eyes flash red. ''ROAR! DRAGONAUN TENSHO!'' He fires his own energy wave, taking on the form of a dragon's head that devours Deep Blue's attack and hits him directly. He screams in agony as the attack distorts the Mew Aqua from within him.

At that moment, Atem takes over by Yugi's planning and performs a Mind Crush, splitting Masaya and the powers of the Blue Knight from the soul of Deep Blue, separating the two. Deep Blue tries to take back his body but Yugi blasts and shouts at Ichigo, using her power to save Masaya.

Smiling, Mew Ichigo summons the Mew Aqua Rod and absorbs Deep Blue's Mew Aqua. She holds her ground as the rod transforms and she performs the new Ribbon Aqua Drops Explosion attack; destroying Deep Blue's essence once and for all.

''T-THIS WILL NOT BE MY END!'' Deep Blue's voice screams out before dissolving into nothing. It is over as Masaya is saved but the ship begins to explode. Yugi tells Ichigo to get herself and Masaya out as he tosses Mew Aqua to Kisshu that he grabbed out of Deep Blue, telling him to make that planet he hates into a paradise.

Kisshu eyes it and smirks, telling him. ''Really hate you, hero.''

''Yea… I don't like you much either.'' Yugi responds with a small smile. Smiling back with generosity, Kisshu teleports away. Mew Ichigo looks at Yugi who gives her a thumbs up. She frowns as she leaves with the weakened Masaya while Yugi proceeds to smash the entire base, blasting the ship into pieces. He lands on the ground, panting heavily. His vision is bad but he shakes it off; having one more fight to settle. He doesn't plan to see the others or Ichigo; she's happy and better off with Masaya.

''Even after everything, remembering her and why you fight for her; you still want her happier than you.'' Yin Dragon expresses, rather disappointed by his sense of logic. Yang Dragon gets why as he says. ''In Yugi-san's heart; seeing Ichigo-san happy makes him happy. That is the kind of dragon he is.''

Yugi just nods, taking a step forward and nearly trips over, his vision very blurry. He feels so drained and he's still recovering from the blow he took. He tries to be strong as Atem tells him. ''Partner, leave the Dark Lord to me.''

Yugi smiles weakly as he uses Dragon Speed Burst but nearly trips to move quickly back to the car. Luckily, Kaiba was waiting for him. He smiles again before Atem takes over and hops on the car.

''… And him?'' Seto asks if Yugi isn't distracted or drained for this last duel. Atem nods, ensuring him. ''Yugi will be fine.'' Kaiba scoffs, hoping so as they drive off.

Ichigo, in her civilian form, and Masaya return to the others who only Danny, Naruto, Sonic and Shadow remain as well as the Mew Mews and their bosses. The Aliens left to go back to their world and make things right, turn that world into a beautiful new planet and they even mention about freeing their true ruler.

Naruto brags how his Rasenshuriken beats the Chimera while his arm is being healed by Mew Ringo, sweat dropping as she points out that if not for everyone else fighting together as well as the Aliens; they would not have won. Naruto just laughs nervously, agreeing with them.

Mint and the other Mew Mews smile to see their leader, confirming they won to Ryou's relief. Masaya has a touching moment with Erika, both hugging to be reunited.

Ichigo then learns the others went to the tournament thanks to Kaiba's help. She frowns, wanting to be there too; to cheer for Yugi.

''Ichigo, go.'' She startles as she looks at Masaya, smiling. ''He's waiting for you.''

This alarms Ichigo, knowing who he's referring to.

''I… No, Yugi-kun will be fine and I've made him suffer so much today that-'' She begins to object, not wanting to cause any more problems for him. He's done so much for her that she can't make him suffer any more. Masaya, smiling, walks up to her and holds her hands.

''He loves you and you love him, right?'' He asks her, seeing what Deep Blue saw and he sees the sacrifice Yugi made to protect her, even admitting how much she means to him. He does too but he's been too protective; not wanting her to get hurt and instead he caused her to suffer because of Deep Blue; because he couldn't control those powers. And worse; he was responsible for making her make many mistakes and nearly failing the world. But when Ichigo started acting like her real self; she did the impossible and won. She didn't need him and he can't pull her away from the world when many still depend on her.

''I… I was afraid that you would get hurt because of this life but I was wrong.'' Masaya explains himself, staring at her soft brown eyes gleaming like a star. ''You were always destined to be a heroine and you were destined to protect everyone, especially him.''

Ichigo looks at him and she bites her lip, shaking her head as she still protests. ''N-No. I-'' Masaya smiles, able to tell she refuses to follow those feelings and interrupts her. ''I know you; I know how loyal you are but I've let you down and he risk everything to see you happy.''

He then wraps his arms around her, hugging her. He frowns, tearing up a tear as he has to let her go though he vows. ''But I'll always protect you because you're one of the two who let me see the happiness of life.'' As he looks at his sister, being the other he speaks of.

Ichigo sobs heavily, looking down like she's a scumbag for doing this to him. She sniffs as she hugs him deeply. This would be the last time the two will express themselves romantically. She looks at him, wanting to kiss him… but… she can't. Instead, she leans to his side of his cheek and kisses him across the cheek. Masaya smiles, touching that side of his face as he looks at her and releases her.

Smiling, Ichigo pulls away still looking at him before she hops backwards and turns around.

''You're going?'' Ryou questions her as the red cherry head doesn't answer him at first, taking a moment to reflect and soon makes up her mind. ''… He's waiting for me Nya.'' She answers as her body glows brightly, transforming into Mew Ichigo before she runs off, leaping away.

The others watch with Mint smirking, wondering how long she was going to deny herself that heart of hers, eyeing Zakuro who also smiles too.

Erika walks up beside her brother, holding his hand.

''Masaya, is this what you wanted?'' She asks him as Masaya looks at her and smiles, looking sad but this is what needed to happen. ''It's not what I want, it's what she wants.''

Erika just smiles, feeling the same way.

Mew Ichigo leaps across rooftops, panting heavily as she feels so drained from that fight but she has enough energy to keep going on. She looks across a large screen on a building, wanting to see the time and immediately widens her eyes in horror that Yugi is already dueling the Dark Lord, going on live of who he is and-

She is startled to see her poor uncle in dark chains along with everyone else there.

''Uncle, Yugi-kun, everyone…'' She utters out, worried for all of them. She soon bites her lips as she needs to hurry to support him. She leaps around faster and further, performing flexible and fast pace parkour tricks to reach building-to-building rooftop and then zig-zag across an alley.

''Please make it.'' She tells herself as she tells determinedly, knowing he won't fail. ''You never give up. You always push yourself for everyone and everything. For you, this life is your game and you never let anything stand in your way from completing it.''

Biting her lips as she's in this game, wanting to reach her goal and show him how much he means to her.

''That's why I won't give up on you either! Because that is the promise we made! That is our vow Nya!'' The Mew Mew tells herself passionately, not going to fail that promise again. However, she starts breathing heavily, her vision starting to fail her as she feels herself drifting.

''No… not yet…'' She utters, shaking off this tunnel vision as she runs faster but even her legs start getting limb.

''I…'' Ichigo starts uttering before her body suddenly starts failing and she trips, dropping on the ground of the roof. ''I need… to see him!'' She yells out mentally.

In that moment, a strange holy light in the form of a hand touches her back as Ichigo's eyes widen, her eyes glowing brightly as she suddenly finds herself getting on all fours and leaping off the rooftop. She feels like soaring, unaware a pair of angelic wings appear on her back before vanishing. Her vision returns, her energy fully restored and more.

Ichigo slowly smiles as she declares passionately. ''I'm coming Nya!'' She leaps and dashes across multiple rooftops, no longer staggering or tired.

Shadow Knight watches her from afar, snickering as he vanishes.

Light Yagami looks at the screen of the Dark Lord's declaration of conquering this world and ruling the planet. He scoffs, at first disturbing that such a creature exists… then again Ryuk exists too and he's not at all a pleasant looker either. But this; this declaration of conquest and destruction; a simple-minded way of thinking. No, this world needs a God; a God who will reshape the human race forever.

''This world really is rotting.'' He expresses as he turns his head, gazing at the sunset as he will be the Sun for the people; a God of the New World. ''That is why I must become of the-'' Suddenly his train of thought is interrupted by a blur passing through his eyes, shocking him. ''What the hell?''

He looks up, hearing running footsteps above the train. Mew Ichigo is running across the train as she runs across one cart where Usagi Tsukino pokes her head and smiles to see her.

''COUSIN ICHIGO-CHAN!'' Usagi screams out joyfully, waving her arms wildly and wide. Mew Ichigo turns in midair and smiles brightly, waving at her before somersaulting away. The cat girl dashes around quickly, filled with new energy to get her where she needed to go.

''Just a little-'' Ichigo tells herself grinning, knowing the perfect shortcut to reach the bullet train to Domino. Once she's on; it'll take her much less time to-

She suddenly stops on her tracks, shocked as there's a massive construction site in the part of town she usually took before she left for Tokyo. She sees that the building is still being constructed, having a black and pink? Is it pink? It looks reddish pink to her. She checks the warning side and utters out the name. ''Magenta Decennium Corporation?!''

The cat girl sweat drops, finding that name way too weird and confusing to be a company's name?! She's never even heard of it till now. But the big problem is this.

''Damn it! I needed this path!'' She complains as she grinds the top of her boots before she leaps and shoots herself over the fence and platforms across multiple construction vehicles and metal bars. She then times it and leaps with great force forward, blasting over the massive tower being built.

''Go Ichigo GO!'' Masha cheers for her as the cat girl smiles, soaring over the sky till she lands on the closest rooftop and runs downward. She continues as fast as she can till she finally arrives at the train station. She gasps for air but also in horror as it is not running due to all the trees and also what happened in Tokyo just now, FOR ONCE?!

''AH COME ON!'' Ichigo complains angrily, checking up at a screen as Yugi is still struggling in his duel. She bites her lips, not sure what to do. She's too far to run over there. She'll never make it.

''I gotta borrow a car or bike or-'' Ichigo begins suggesting her limited options on vehicles that she has no idea how to drive. Maybe if she tries getting a motorcycle. No! Who would give her one no less take her all the way-

A beep from a car echoes towards her, snapping her out from her deep thinking. She turns and it's a sports car and the one driving in it is Mai, wearing a pair of sunglasses.

''Heya Hon, need a lift?'' Mai asks the cat girl with a small smirk. Mew Ichigo slowly smiles as she hops on and Mai drives off at top speed. Ichigo explains how she knew and Mai said that Jonouchi called her, saying that a certain red head might regret not being there for Yugi. Ichigo smiles warmly that he cared.

''At least you have the balls to follow your heart.'' Mai tells her, admitting that Yugi needed someone and even though she had her own hopes with Anzu; the magical girl does work too.

Ichigo eyes her and giggles, responding back. ''So do you, Nya. Jonouchi-kun is a moron but not so much. He cares for you. Give him time so he can show you how much he appreciates you Nya.''

Mai is speechless that she- She just forms a smirk, driving faster if maybe this will get Jonouchi's attention by helping Ichigo. They drove out of Tokyo at top speed, halfway of arriving at Domino until she suddenly stopped by a large traffic jam. Ichigo panics as the radio is talking about how the Dark Lord has brought out all the Wicked Gods and overpowering Yugi heavily who's starting to react weirdly, almost like he's too hurt.

Groaning as she's so much closer than before, Ichigo removes her seat belt and tells Mai. ''I'm going ahead!'' She leaps off before she shouts happily, waving at her. ''THANK YOU NYA!''

Mai watches her leap and dash across multiple car roofs before she smirks, hoping she makes it.

''MAKE IT! MAKE IT!'' Mew Ichigo yells out furiously, pushing all of her limits as she uses the cars to pounce and push her forward, finally arriving at Domino. She now runs at top speed, dashing through anything in her path, even Haga and Ryuzaki who get boot stomped by the cat girl, using them as platforms to launch her forward and both crashing head first onto the pavement.

She zig-zags so fast and hard with each push, each solid surface, each thrust that before she knows it; Mew Ichigo launches herself way up into the air. She breathes heavily, gliding through multiple buildings till she sees the Kaiba Stadium up ahead and swirls of dark energy clouds gathering above it. She gazes determinedly as she somersaults downward and lands on the closest rooftop on both her feet, launching herself forward again.

A minute later, Mew Ichigo lands in front of the stadium as her body glows and reverts back to her normal form. Ichigo runs in a hurry as a few of Kaiba's guards are blocking her path but she shouts out loudly. ''EXCUSE ME NYA!''

The men see her and startled, moving to the side as this was someone Mokuba instructed them to let her inside. Ichigo finds huge relief, thinking she'll have to slide under them as she runs inside. She hurries up faster and faster and faster, seeing a light as her pigtails are undone and she runs with her hair let down. She comes closer and closer until she dashes inside and finds herself in the stands. She grabs onto a pair of handlebars, breathing heavily as she spots him. Yugi, on his knees and breathing heavily almost like he's about to drop unconscious and up against the Dark Lord and all 3 Wicked Gods. He has a strong field while Yugi has nothing in his hand or field.

Finally, Ichigo feels herself struggling to say something but this isn't the time to chicken out. He's there and she… she needs to shout it out.

Biting her lips, Ichigo lets out a loud gasp of air before Yugi finally falls forward and screams passionately, echoing the large area. ''DON'T GIVE UP!''

Yugi suddenly widens his eyes, turns around and sees her. Among all the audience, trapped by the Dark Lord's chains, is the red cherry haired girl, staring towards him as her soft brown eyes stare and reflect back to him. She smiles warmly as she finishes her shouting. ''BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN YOU, YUGI-KUN!'' Her screams echoes across for all to hear.

The whole place is silent with Jonouchi smirking; wondering what took her so long to show up. Yugi stares at Ichigo, smiling before he smiles back. He turns his head forward and starts standing up, lifting up his right hand and gives her a thumbs up, vowing he won't let her down. Ichigo giggles softly, knowing he won't.

Dark Leader Dragon growls vexed; not understanding what his niece sees in this-

''Your Darkness game makes this game I love tainted.'' The dark dragon gazes his sights to Yugi, breathing deeply as he begins speaking with his eyes closed. ''Every game deserves to be played fair and by one's own rules and skills.''

Yugi's body flickers in energy like flames as Yin-Yang Dragon's aura burns around him.

''I won't forgive you…'' Yugi begins to declare as he opens his eyes and they burn bright red dragon eyes, staring determinedly at the black dragon. ''For mocking the bonds and passions in my life!''

Moving his draw hand over his deck, he roars as he draws it. ''MY TURN!'' He eyes it and sees the response to his cards, wanting him to win too. He plays the Symbol of Friendship to let him add any card he needs from his Deck but the Dark Lord laughs overjoyed as there is nothing Yugi will play that can change his fate for his fate has already been decided.

''You're wrong!'' Yugi protests, confusing the black dragon. ''Just like this game, just like life…'' He pulls out his deck, covered in the fiery aura of Yin-Yang Dragon's energy. ''WE DECIDE OUR FATE AND I WILL DECIDE MY OWN!''

He searches through his Deck and soon he widens his eyes to see a card that wasn't in his Deck before and knew this was the card.

''I remove both the DARK Kuriboh and LIGHT Marshmallon in my Graveyard!'' Yugi announces, banishing his Light and Dark Monsters. Kaiba assumes it must be the Envoy of the Beginning but it will not be the case.

''Appear from in between the world of Light and Dark and bind them to become the being of gentleness and fury! Use your power to create balance and peace for everyone!'' Yugi chants as black and white flames erupt and form around his back, taking on the form of his new hope. ''Appear! Hope of Chaos! Yin-Yang Dragon, Envoy of Creation and Destruction!''

Everyone watches in amazement as the two headed, black and white dragons appear as their red eyes glows upon the evil dragon. Ichigo slowly smiles while Dark Leader Dragon growls furiously, using his cards to get rid of this monster and win but Yugi's new monster is unaffected by any of the opponent's cards.

Yugi proceeds to counterattack with Yin-Yang Dragon, using its effect of recycling to add cards from his Graveyard to his advantage but eventually the dragon was destroyed but its burning hope clear the Dark Lord's defenses, allowing Yugi to set up the strongest counterattack, using all of his most prized monsters to bring out all 3 Egyptian Gods onto his field and even summoned Silent Magician LV0 and White-Horned Dragon.

''You use those monsters that are born by negative emotions but my monsters, my cards, are all connected to one and another!'' Yugi expresses, having witnessed those connections with Mahad and Mana's wills protecting Atem and even him; his connection to grow through Silent Magician, Swordsman and Gandora; the will of the Gods fuel by their owner's own will and White-Horned's strange connection with him. It's not just them but every card in his deck, every monster who supports him is like the connection to him and everyone else; this power that can surpass limits.

''Just like my friends, that is the power of my bonds!'' Yugi declares with a bright smile. The Dark Lord growls as Yugi destroys Avatar with Ra's effect and Obelisk prepares to take down Dreadroot but the Dark Lord uses a card to destroy Eraser and try to destroy the field but Yugi's cards are protected by a support card of Yin-Yang Dragon. The black dragon just laughs at this, finding this truly excitedly like any dragon would enjoy.

''Sooner or later, you will enjoy the thrill of battle like any dragon.'' Dark Leader Dragon vows with a twisted grin only for Yugi to protest firmly. ''And I will but not when those I love and innocent people are endangered like that.''

The dark dragon narrows his eyes coldly, reflecting on his life of only misery and misfortune.

''That is the cruelty of life and fate.'' The Dark Lord declares but Yugi objects. ''No. That is giving up on the game, on life! And I'm still playing forward!''

The Dark Lord snaps as he summons forth Darkness God Dragon, trying to one shot Yugi but he protects himself, leaving him with just 49LP. Risking it all in his final turn, Yugi draws Timaeus, the Legendary Dragon of Hope. Smiling, he proceeds in using Timaeus' ultimate effect, fusing himself and the 3 Egyptian Gods as one to everyone's shock, bypassing the logic of Fusion Summoning.

''TRANSCEND FUSION SUMMON!'' Yugi chants as a card manifests in his hand and summons it over his Duel Disk. ''Protector of Unity and Bonds! The Creator God of Bonds, Nehebkau!''

Ascending over the field as a bright light is a new Creator God, a mighty humanoid God dragon forged by the bonds and light of all. Everyone is speechless while Ichigo smiles warmly.

''Unreal.'' Kaiba utters out before he smirks, eager to fight such a beast and crush it.

The Dark Lord uses everything he has to end this monster but Nehebkau's effect nullifies his attempt. He then puts on a wall to stop Yugi but his Creator God transcends power, gaining the ATK of others to go past its limits. He then uses its ability to change its Type and Attribute, giving him access to Diffusion-Wave Motion to let his monster attack all of the Dark Lord's monsters.

''This is the power of my bonds! Obliteration Burst!'' Yugi commands as Nehebkau unleashes a holy sphere of light and blasts it upon Darkness God Dragon, shattering and destroying it. The attack is successful but the Dark Lord tries to take Yugi out and yet he still survives with ease. The duel was as good as over as the Dark Lord smirks and proclaims, accepting this. ''Go on, finish me.''

Yugi stares at him and proceeds with his final attack on his next turn and attacks with his Creator God, defeating him once and for all. The Dark Lord laughs as he dissolves into nothing… or rather his copy as the real Dark Lord, Akumu, is freed and plays his part. Now no one will suspect he is the real Dark Lord. Everyone is freed as Ichigo runs up to the field and hugs Akumu.

''Uncle…'' Ichigo purrs joyfully, hugging him happily to finally see him. Akumu looks at her and smiles, hugging her back. ''Ichigo…''

Yugi smiles weakly before dropping on the ground, panting heavily as he looks at Ichigo who looks back at him, smiling brightly. He blushes, happy to see her happy again… but he knows this fight is far from over.

Departing after the duel, Akumu sits in his limousine as Dark General Knight is driving and Yami Bakura is present. Everything went according to plan. Zorc still doesn't get the point of needing to ''kill'' him in their duel but Akumu needed an example to show the power of the Wicked Gods.
