Hayden leaned against the black dodge charger, his arms crossed and a frown plastered against his face. While he was in the flower shop with Little flower he had gotten a text from Zane and rushed over. He now waited for his brother to arrive with his favorite intel. When you own half the world you always need someone on the inside.

The headlights illuminated off the building as another dodge charger pulled up right beside him. Zane got out with a foot shorter guy with a buzz cut, everyone underestimated him but he knew that in a knife fight the man would come out on top.

"Hello Hayden, how have you been?" The man said in a deep voice, his long sleeve shirt covered all his tattoos, the only tattoo that could have been seen was the one behind his ear. Hayden wondered what this intel would tell him.

"Hello Rico, I have been good now what do you have to tell me!!" He said in the most cool he could muster. Goddamn it he wished Rico would just get to the point and not do the pleasantries he so very desperately hated.

"Well I have intel that the woman that owns the flower establishment on 49, well she is about to get robbed."

Oh shit little flower. He thought as he made a running beeline to his car. "Zane get the guys and head towards the flower shop." He yelled as he jumped in his car.

The car's speedamtor speed past over 180, while his knuckles gripped the steering wheel. He hoped the motherfuckers that were probably going to hurt Little flower was still there.

He needed some anger to take out, and whoever decided to hurt her would perish and die. Hayden would set every single building on fire until he found who decided to do this. Pulling in front of the flower shop, he noticed the blinds were drawn and quickly got out of the car.

The two steps he took towards the front of the establishment, Hayden knew what would have happened if he had been here. The 45 that he always had on his side was drawn as he stood there waiting for a moment to collect his thoughts.

The door snapped open as his foot went into it, he would fix or pay fro that. Broken glass laid everywhere as his eyes adjusted towards the darkness.

"Hey, Little flower, you in there?" He whispered as he lifted his head while he climbed over the biggest potted plant there was. Hayden looked around while he heard groans coming from the back room. Charging through the broken glass he made it, his eyes looked around checking to see if the men were still in the room.

"Hayden you in there?" He heard Zane call back, Hayden turned Paisley over. A small knife clutched in her hand covered in what seemed to be thick dark red blood. He smiled thats his girl he thought.

How could she be his if they hadn't even gone on a date yet? He thought as he gently looked at her.

"Hey, Little flower you are safe now." Saying as he wrapped his arms under her legs and gently picked her up. Hayden wondered who in the fucking world would ever hurt this adorable, shy woman? And they would fucking die from it too.

—--

Hayden's back sat against the cold metal chair for what seemed to be an eternity, while in reality it had probably been no more than an hour. The beeping of the machines, the rushing of patients all around him. His hands shook as he stared at the blank wall, worrying about the little flower.

He wondered who would dislike him that much that they sent goons to fuck with someone he cared about.

"Mr Jacobs." A nurse nervously stood in front of him holding a clipboard as her smile faltered.

"Is she okay? Is she dead? How is my little flower?" Hayden asked frantically while his hands shook more times than he could count. He hoped she was not dead or he would burn the entire town down.

"Miss Thomas is fine, she is just sleeping you can go in there if you would like." The nurse said while she briskly walked away.

Standing at the door that had room two hundred and six, Hayden pushed his hands in his pockets. Would she even want to see him? Or did she want him to turn away and go back home.

"You know she has been asking about you." A sweet voice said from behind him, he turned around to see a nurse standing there with a clipboard, her glasses stood on the bridge of her nose.

Hayden smiled as one of his hands twisted the door knob, the machine that stood beside her beeped periodically. Her limb body laid on the bed, her hair fanned around out on the bed. Her eyes closed, a empty chair pushed against the hospital bed.

Should I stay or run? For her safety. He thought as he stood in the corner.

Hayden looked at her and smiled as he sat in the most uncomfortable chair he had ever sat in for his entire life. While his heart sank, he noticed a little cursive heart on her wrist that he had never seen before.

Her eyes fluttered open as he stared at her wrist, Paisley took a deep breath as she noticed it was him. Hayden rushed towards her, his hands clasping down hard enough her hands and smiled a smile.

"Who did this to you?" He growled as he noticed her looking at him. Her eyes a soft green while she looked behind him.

"I do not know who sent them, but I know their names. It was Pix, James and Rosco." Paisley whispered while she began to shake. "Where did you go?" She asked after a few moments.

"I had a meeting with Zane. If I knew this would have happened I would not have left you." Hayden whispered against her arm. Pix, James and Rosco was small town petty thieves, Rosco was Rico's brother.

Does Rico know where his brother lives now? He wondered, maybe I could get him to tell me where he lives. If he doesn't I will start chopping off fingers he thought.

"We will get this figured out my tiny flower, but I need you to do one thing for me. I need you to rest right now." Saying this softly against her head as he began to walk towards the door.

"Hey Mr. Macho will you stay?" She said as her voice lifted towards him.
