Goku, Krillin, Bulma and Roshi were all debating on what to do with Goku bringing up a Valid point for going alone. "Hold on, I think I got a way out of this mess. All we gotta do is gather the dragon balls and wish for him to save the planet. That should work." Bulma said with a smile on her face, while Krillin who looked down got a large smile turning to Bulma. "Yeah! Why not!" He agreed only for Roshi to shut him down. "Krillin we can't gather them all in one day." Goku's right hand balled tightly into a fist. "Well, I say we attack him head on! That's the one thing he'd never expect, it might give us an edge. And we need every advantage we could get."
"But how are we going to find him?" Roshi asked turning fully to Goku along side Krillin. "I don't know! I haven't figured that part out yet." Bulma who only took a second to come up with a plan looked Goku in the eye. "I know! Gohan had a Dragon Ball on his hat didn't he? So we can use the Dragon Radar!" Quickly reaching into her Jacket pocket she pulled out the Radar clicking the button on top, several dots started flashing with only one moving away quickly. "Look, you see? That's them, damn that's fast..."
"thanks Bulma" Goku said gratefully to his friend before they all shouted that it stopped. "Well at least it's not in space somewhere." Goku turned to the direction of where Gohan's Dragon Ball is. "Alright, you guys ready?!" Krillin and Roshi both nodded their heads. "Whatever happens, just know that you two were my greatest Students." Roshi said with sentimentality coating his words knowing full well they might all die this day.
"it'll never work, you're too weak." A gruff voice spoke confusing the two forcing them to look around, when Krillin looked up he yelped in fright. Roshi, Bulma and Goku turned to look all three yelling in surprise to see Piccolo. He was soaking wet and holding a coughing Hazzel under his arm. "Oh great! What else could go wrong today?!" Krillin exclaimed as everything started to become too much for the martial artist.
slowly Piccolo descended from the sky landing a few feet from the group. "I suppose you could make me angry but I wouldn't advise it." Hazzel was roughly thrown onto the ground coughing up Sea Water, Bulma rushing over to pat and rub his back as he tried to recover from almost drowning. Hazzel whose vision slowly returned to normal turned around to see who his savior was, surprisingly it was Piccolo. "So? What do you want Piccolo?" Goku said getting ready for another fight on top of having to save his son.
"yes why are you here? This is my Island!" Roshi said calmly at first then shouted at the green man. "I been keeping an eye on your last visitor... I followed him here." Piccolo spoke calmly keeping eye contact with Goku. "Oh yeah? What do you know about him!?" What Piccolo said next shocked the group including a mostly recovered Hazzel. "I know this much the only chance of you winning, is if I go with you. I know we're enemies but hear me out." Slowly walking forward until he was standing behind Goku staring at the water.
"You've seen how powerful he is, Which means you know as well as I do that neither of us have the strength to defeat him alone. We'd be dead before the fight started... however, if we team up we have a slight chance to over power him, it's the only way! Agreed?!" Goku's response was not an unexpected on. "I don't know, why should I trust you? How do I know you won't turn on me?" Piccolo didn't flinch and neither did Goku as the green man answered him honestly.
"The truth is you don't, I won't lie to you my reasons for this are purely selfish. I could care less what happens to your son. Tch but I won't let this guy take over the earth, I plan to do it myself!" Bulma and Turtle both jump in fright with Bulma hiding behind the Turtle using him as a shield. "If we team up, as much as the idea sickens me I'm willing to put our differences aside. But as far as I'm concerned this truce is temporary, then next time we meet we'll be enemies Same as always."
"And when that time comes, I promise to do everything in my power to stop you from taking over the world. But until then..." Goku turned his head to look at Piccolo with a smile. "It looks like we're a team you got a deal." Hazzel cracked his neck and crossed his arms standing next to Goku. "Alright then let's consider it done. If you could stand working with me, I suppose I can bare working with you. But don't forget once this is over our alliance is terminated."
Goku took the Dragon Radar from Bulma then stood in between Hazzel and Piccolo. "Flying Nimbus!" Goku yelled as he jumped up and landed on a bright yellow cloud. "Let's hurry and put this bastard into the dirt!" Hazzel said with a snarl his right hand clenched tightly into a fist. Piccolo chuckled at the human's enthusiasm, Goku calls for Nimbus before hopping onto it. "Hey Piccolo, Hazzel you think you can keep up with Flying Nimbus."
Piccolo scoffed in response while Hazzel chuckled. "Yeah right! I'd be surprised if you could keep up with me on that silly little toy." Piccolo and Hazzel dropped their smiles and glanced at one another before challenging each other with a competitive smirk, all three taking off at high speeds to their next fight.
(Raditz pod's crash site)
Gohan who was sobbing hid behind the dead farmers truck doing his best to keep away from his scary uncle. "T-That bully, I hate him. T-That Jerk" seeing Raditz's legs on the other side of the truck made him quiet down hoping Raditz didn't know he was there. Only for him to jump as Raditz shoved his left arm through the hood of the truck. He lifted the truck out of the way quite easily to reveal Gohan with the tall Saiyan having an irritated look.
"O-Oh yeah!?! My dad could lift that too you know!" Raditz smirked a bit and with a flash of light from his palm the truck was obliterated into nothing. The smoke and dust coated his arm he thought maybe the show of strength would calm the half Saiyan child down but instead Gohan started crying irritating Raditz even more. "Shut up! Stop crying!"
"I don't know why you're so mean! I didn't do anything to you!" Gohan yelled and Raditz clicked his teeth walking forward he picked Gohan up by the back of his shirt. "Quiet you fool, be strong. You're one of the brave saiyans too." He said a bit more calmly, he really didn't want to have to hurt his Nephew. Sliding down the crater to his space pod he opened it up and tossed Gohan onto the seat inside.
closing the pod and trapping the kid inside Raditz released a sigh of relief as Gohan's cries were quieted down thanks to the Pod. "There, you can come out when you quiet down. Hm that's much better." Raditz turned and walked back out of the crater while Gohan slapped his palms on the red tinted glass of the pod. "Wait don't go! Please come back!" He cries harder watching as his uncle walked away from him leaving him alone.
As Raditz made his way out of the crater he grunted as his stomach growled. "Now maybe I can round up something to eat." His scouter beeped as it suddenly reads a power of over 700. "What A power level of 710?" Pressing a button to get its location he gains a look of shock. "It says it's within 50 meters of here! But where?" Looking around he growled as he wasn't reading anything in the distance. Until his whirled around the scouter pointing to his pod.
"What, Kakarots Son? That can't be! There's no way that boy can have such a high power level. This piece of Junk's broken" pressing a button on his scouter turning the tracker off, turning around he walked off to get food. "Faulty piece of equipment almost gave me a scare." He said ignorant to the laying threat that was the slowly waking potential of Gohan.
(Piccolo, Goku and Hazzel)
While the trio flew at high speeds through the air the Dragon Radar beeped in Goku's hand. "We're getting close, we should land soon so we can sneak up on him!" He yelled over the wind to the other two. "Forget it, it's no good!" Piccolo responded confusing the two. "What?! But we'll have a much better chance of winning if we surprise him!" Hazzel turned his gaze towards Piccolo raising an eyebrow confused.
"he's wearing a device that can detect our powerlevels, he can track our exact location!" Goku turned his gaze to Piccolo. "You're saying he already know's we're on the way?!" Piccolo nodded his head slightly. "I'm saying it's very likely!" Goku focusing his gaze in front of himself. "Alright then I guess that leaves us only one choice! We attack him head on!" Hazzel hummed loudly in agreement. "This is for the best! He's only one person and if we attack him head on together we either beat him or get crushed."
Piccolo and Goku turned to Hazzel whose eyes were narrowed and his teeth visibly clenched. "I'm going to hit him ten times harder than before!" Hazzel's power rose even after all this time trying to calm his mind, the humiliation of almost dying with a single hit stirred something dark in his soul. "WE WILL WIN NO MATTER WHAT!" His power soared even more and he flew past Goku and Piccolo both shocked.
(Raditz)
The tall Saiyan just finished eating an animal and tossed the bone ate from behind him. "Next time I'll cook the meat" opening his mouth he took a bite from a pear shaped fruit that was purple and yellow. His scouter beeped again, pressing the button again the reading was still over 700 and inside his pod. "This things still going haywire and I didn't even bring the manual, still 710... Hrnn piece of junk."
His scouter beeped again this time tracking three power levels heading straight for him. "What?! A power level of 980?!... no there's three. One's 320 and the other two is 330. Kakarot has a power of 330, but Kakarot can't be coming here. He knows he can't beat me and he knows it. Besides he doesn't know where I am. That's it this thing is driving me crazy." He said turning off the scouter irritated at the device. "Hnn I need to take it easy." He said turning around and starting to walk away.
only for his scouter to go off again, whirling around his scouter pointed to the three power levels. "What?! Kakarot is here!" His eyes widened and he turned his gaze to his pod. 'If my scouter isn't broken then! No this can't be accurate it's impossible for a child that small to have a power level of 710! I'm sure of it.' He thought until he was forced to turn at the three warriors that landed shoulder to shoulder.
"well, well it's little brother and his friend. Oh and he brought the green man with him. I wondered who that third insignificant blip on my scouter could be, I already figured your friend was with you but confess didn't expect you Green Man." Raditz tossed and caught the fruit in his hand repeatedly in amusement. "What a pleasant surprise, I have to hand it to you Kakarot I didn't expect to see you until tomorrow. You are more resourceful than I thought... and more foolish as well."
"we'll see about that!" Goku responded making Raditz smirk even if he was weak Goku definitely had the Saiyan spirit in him. "Fair enough, so what brings you here Kakarot? Do tell have you already eliminated one hundred earthlings?" Gohan who was crying into his knees suddenly stopped when he heard his father's voice. "I'm here to get my son back where is he?!"
Gohan smiled his posture getting straighter before standing in the pod pressing his palms to the glass. "That's my Dad!" Raditz frowns his eyes showing clear disappointment while under that was sadness, something Hazzel noticed but didn't diminish his rage. "I was afraid you'd say that, you are testing my patience Kakarot. I've been more than generous with you so far now for the last time, I strongly recommend you Join us!"
"I don't care what you recommend the answer is still No!" Goku yelled while Gohan who was listening tried to drop kick the pod open only to fall on his back and his head hit the seat. Sniffling the child held the back of his head before crying loudly. "Owie that hurt!" Hazzel took a step forward so he was in front of Piccolo and Goku. "Enough talk, Goku obviously wants you to choose. Either bring Gohan to us...OR PREPARE FOR BATTLE!"
this made Raditz raise an eyebrow, he chuckled at the warrior spirit the Human contained. "Alright enough talk" Piccolo said taking off his weighted clothing "you know why we're here so let's get on with it." Goku watched as Piccolo's cape slammed into the ground. "Huh? I didn't know you trained with weighted clothing Piccolo." The green man rolled his neck a slight smirk on his face. "What, thought you were the only one? Oh yeah... I feel much lighter now."
Raditz's eyes widened as his scouter read Piccolo's power growing, then his eyes narrowed. 'Hmmm his power level has gone up to 400'. Goku also stripped himself of the weighted clothing before warming himself up. 'And Kakarots power rose to 412' then Raditz watched Hazzel waiting to see if he'd do the same thing only for the Human to get into his fighting stance.
"you don't train with Weighted clothes Hazzel?" Goku asked a bit disappointed in Hazzel. "I only did it with Roshi's turtle shell when I asked for a bit of training from him. I wanted to make my own form of weighted clothes but I took on a student. Training with her made me stronger so I didn't bother doing it. I kinda regret it now, you two are still stronger than me and it irritates me!" He yelled his power rising the angrier he gets as he pulls strength from the dark power within unintentionally.
Raditz's eyes widened as Hazzels power jumped from 330 too 400. 'His power jumped with his anger, is he some sort of mutant? That could explain his jump in power... no matter he is still weak compared to me!' Crossing his arms over his chest Raditz smugly raised his nose. "You really think that's going to make any difference, fools! Who do you think I am? A few weights aren't going to affect the outcome of this fight! I'm still ten times stronger than you are!"
the arrogance of Raditz only to further anger Hazzel who's eyes glinted with a red energy for a split second. "Even so strength isn't the only thing that matters" Piccolo looked at Goku who was smiling "when you can outsmart your opponent!" Raditz was amused at Goku's ignorance of what was about to happen. "You really have no clue do you? You know what I think I have decided that I don't want you to join us anymore. A fool like you will only slow us down. YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO ALL SAIYANS NOW PREPARE TO DIE!"
The trio of earths strongest warriors have teamed up to defeat the new threat to the Earth. Along with Hazzels dormant dark power surfacing, will it be enough to take down their Ultimate threat yet? Or will they perish from Raditz's overwhelming power, find out next time on...
