In the now named Jade palace a bipedal floating tortoise and a human child were locked in fierce battle for the 10th time.

The tortoise Oogway ruthlessly destroyed the child's defenses before going in for the kill to forever seal his fate...as a loser.

"Gahh! Old man dont'cha have any shame going full force against a kid?!!" Naruto said petulantly kicking his feet as he had lost for the 10th time without any fanfare.

Oogway could only chuckle as he packed the board up and replied

"Think of it as a reminder child never expect to be taken easy on because of your age there are those who care not for such things"

"Besides... you were able to last 20 moves what makes you think this wasn't me going easy" The tortoise finished his eyes twinkly madly

"Bahh" The boy replied rolling his eyes obviously already knowing that. He just needed to vent dattebayo!

And for a minute there was a conformable silence.

"So.." The tortoise began "Have you made your decision?"

Naruto who distracted himself with a scroll he found slowly stop fidgeting and nodded slowly thinking back on the past 3 hours.

He had been given a tour of the entire place and to say he was taken back would be a understatement. From the size which was even bigger than he thought, to the majestic weapons, magical artifacts and armours that towered his frame, the absurb amount of scrolls which all contained martial arts.

That wasn't even talking about the training area and the fact that he was now in some kind of floating mountain in the middle of literally no where. It was alot to take in. However...

"Yes I want to be the owner of this place" Naruto said in a strong tone, not being someone to hesitate over things.

"Good very good" Oogway said the knot in his chest loosing in relief that he need not wait another second waiting for another with the ability to see the palace.

Though he paused looking at Naruto seriously for a second" And of the sole condition hmm?"

Though he did nothing but change his expression Naruto's heart rate spiked wildy for a second before calming. Naruto after regaining his composure looked him in the eyes nodded deeply.

The tortoise smiled looking down thinking 'It would seem my duty here is done'. Happy that he achieved his friends request in not letting the collective knowledge of Kung fu die the master slowly freed his grip on the physical plane as he started to disovle into particles.

"!!!" Naruto's inhaled deeply watching but otherwise said nothing for a moment already having guessed what would happen if he had accepted. After a spontaneous thought he sat up bowed deeply and said loudly

"Thank you Mr. Oogway for everthing!!!"

Smiling as he could see the other side already he replied "You're welcome, and thank you... for helping me achieve my duty." as his soul left this plain forever more.

Naruto knowing he was gone stayed in his position for a while before getting up wiping his eyes. Sad for the passing of someone who he was sure would be his friend.

Sighing Naruto looked around before freezing his mind blanking "Wait a minute how am i supposed to get ou... oh thats how." He said as he looked around the Market again it's appearance and the lighting not changing from before he left.

Feeling a stinging in his shoulder Naruto ignored it for the moment before making a bee line towards his home set on not drawing any attention to himself. Uncaring of the glares and whispers for the first time unbeknownst to him.

Closing and locking the door behind him, Naruto ran to his bathroom mirror pulling of his blue shirt checking his shoulder and beheld a extremely intricate marking of a ... peach blossom flower.

His face turning flat he couldn't help but complain 'So lame dattebayo' Though there wasn't any heat behind it.

Tired from the day he stopped examining it for now and went to put on some ramen to eat. After finishing took a bath and went to sleep. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was out.

"???" Though he soon woke up to being inside the jade palace? Looking around in confusion he shrugged before sprinting towards the obvious best part... the Scrolls!

Seeing the scroll hall for a second time he was still a bit awed at the sheer immensity of knowledge that was now all his. He knew he wouldnt be able to read all of this anytime soon unless he was able to conveniently clone himself.

Blinking at the weird thought he decided to start with the bare basic one Oogway showed him.

"Body Conditioning for Beginners?" Naruto was a bit disappointed at the title but continued reading sure his potenial friend wouldn't lead him astray.

As he read more and more he couldnt help but sweat. While there were one or two words he couldn't understand he could sure understand the massive warning against practicing martial arts before preparing the body.

From teared muscles due to not understanding your body well, to becoming paralyzed from not having the strength to perform certain arts, down to the terrible side effects of practicing chi without the body and mind in balance it was all rather scary.

Gulping he decided to fully read and comprehend before he even attempted a single thing.

As he passed the warnings and the supplemental information he came upon diagrams of a ... humanoid tiger performing the body conditioning excerise??

Deciding he had enough reading he took the scroll to him to the outer training area and decided to emulate it.

"Eh footwork, core, balance, awareness.." trying to remember from memory he started the exercises immersing himself only to realise he went over his limits when his body dropped in pain and aches.

Lying on his back he breathed in deeply before starting again slowly to try control the power and accuracy of each punch and jab along with trying to coordinate his foot work at the same time.

Doing so for hours on end he only stopped when he was abruptly thrown out without warning waking up in his bed.

'Huh what's going on'

He thought looking outside to the sun rising??

' I Thought time worked differently there?'

'Also why doesnt my body hurt anymore?' as he looked down baffled.

Deciding to go back he found himself again in the center of the jade palace. "So i can come back? Why was i thrown out though?"

Wanting to test things he went back to test with his clock only to realise time passed the same for both places.

'Was it because of Oogway that time before?? Was he so powerfully to bend time?? ' Naruto thought wildy

Satisfied he finally had atleast one answer, Naruto went to prepare for the rest of his day wanting to quickly get more practice.

Coming to a stop Naruto looked around realizing he found some peace and quiet and quickly got to it.

Taking a deep breathe he slowly went through what he now knows is a Kata, he went through the motions having already gotten the hang of it in his '...dreams? I'm still confused on what it really is..' he thought to himself.

An hour passed before he stopped covered in sweat, feeling his muscles aching in a satisfying manner. Moving away he saw his foot steps from his kata had made a barely noticeable imprint.

He couldn't help but look in discontent at the unorganized mess knowing he didn't have the control over his muscles fully to have neat footwork.

'I will soon though' He thought in determination more than ready to put in the hard work.

Having enough of his break he quickly went to the jade palace to check out the armour that had caught his eye yesterday.

As soon as he was in he began walking towards its direction only to have a stray thought

'if this is only my mind how did Mr. Oogway mark me with the tattoo? Did he bring my body in or something?' Shaking his head he stopped in front of the armour looking at in awe.

Not beacuse it was strong or anything he didn't even know anything about that, no it was about the fact that it was orange and his size! The only thing that was here was!

He went foward and read the the Display

"Woahhh!!" Naruto couldn't help but exclaim. Here he was all gloom and doom a day before but this guy Goku was out saving the world at his age it made him feel a bit insecure.

Opening the display he took the Gi looking at it before putting it on. When he was done with the final boot all of a sudden he felt as if he was being smashed into the floor by a giant.

"!!!" Exclaiming in suprise he quickly threw off a arm band sighing in relief when the pressure left.

'...That's gonna take time to get used to' he thought to himself.
