.

'This is fucking bullshit,' Marvin muttered inside the League of Villains' base.

They were bound to a chair, arms restrained behind them in a giant block of metal that stopped them from using their hands, their legs bound with thick metal restraints, and their torso tied with rope.

The League had bound him and put him in a separate room, knowing that keeping him in the same space as them would lead to issues after Marvin's fifth 'candy van' joke.

'We can break out of these,' Izuku insisted. 'We've broken out of way worse.'

'Quirk's exhausted,' Marvin told him. 'We can break out; yeah, but we're in no condition to fight. Your body's fucking exhausted, we need to recover.'

'We don't have time!' Izuku hissed as the villains talked among themselves in the other room. 'They could kill us at any moment!'

'They won't,' Marvin replied calmly. 'None of them have any killing intent or even intent to harm, so we're fine for now.'

'What about the pills?' Izuku asked.

Marvin sighed. 'Pocket. If we break out, I can take them before anyone can stop me, even Kurogiri, but it'd kill you. Remember, the absorption draws from the closest source, which would be you.'

He looked up, closing his eyes and listening to the villains enjoying a TV broadcast downright dragging UA through the mud, calling them 'incompetent' and 'useless' for failing to stop the League from capturing him.

'Marvin, can you really not do anything?' Izuku asked frantically, still nervous at being bound.

A lightbulb went off in Marvin's mind. 'Ok, I have an utterly stupid idea, but it's our best shot.'

'What is it?' Izuku asked.

Marvin took a deep breath, closing his eyes and concentrating. He remembered the feeling of energy absorption, the rushing of different sounds and colors, the sensation of pulling something towards you, pulling something into you.

'Will this work?' Izuku questioned.

'Not sure,' Marvin replied. 'But we have to try.'

Marvin pulled, trying to absorb energy from his surroundings.

He felt his fingertips grow cold, but it wasn't enough, he needed a larger source, something stronger.

Marvin jerked as Toga entered the room, closing the door behind her and painfully running her fingers through his hair.

'Oh god,' He groaned as he smelled the arousal coming from her. 'FUCK OFF.'

He tried to struggle, but One for All wouldn't activate, still burnt out from overuse.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck,' Marvin chanted as Toga grinned crazily.

"You were so mean earlier," Toga giggled, standing over him. "I just wanted to be friends. Well, more than friends, actually."

Marvin groaned internally. 'Someone fucking shoot me already. Or shoot the crazy bitch in front of me; either one works.'

'Is she-' Izuku gulped as Toga got onto their lap.

"There's just so much blood," Toga breathed, examining the cuts on his face and neck.

She leaned down, licking some of the cuts and letting out a small moan.

'Is this hell? Is this what hell feels like?' Marvin groaned. 'This is punishment for something horrible I did in a past life, isn't it? I mean, I did something horrible in THIS life, so…'

Unfortunately, his groan was taken the wrong way, with Toga giggling as she began straddling them.

"Toga," Marvin hissed, his heartbeat quickening. "What are you doing?"

Toga grinned widely, baring her teeth. "I said I wanted to be more than friends, right? You just look so good with all this blood."

She licked more of the cuts, moaning again as she rolled her hips on him.

'Yeah, this isn't hell,' Marvin summarized. 'It's fucking worse.'

"It's just… I can't help myself," Toga whispered in his ear, continuing to roll her hips on him.

'Girl, you are like two sizes too small to try and move like that,' Marvin thought as he continued trying to pull energy from his surroundings, hoping to stop this before it got too far.

Izuku blinked at him. 'What are you talking about?'

Marvin internally rolled his eyes. 'Toga looks like a fucking child half the time, it's disgusting. I might get it if she looked like that pink snake girl from the rescue team; SHE's a lot hotter than this.'

His mind wandered for a split second before he reigned it in, but that lapse was more than enough to start making a tent.

Toga giggled as she felt his erection poke her. "Couldn't help yourself, hm?"

'I'm going to fucking vomit,' Marvin groaned before an idea came to his head.

'Izuku, I'm going to get us out of here, but I need you to PROMISE me Momo won't know of this,' Marvin said. 'I'm never mentioning this to ANYBODY, and I need you to do the same.'

Izuku's eyes widened. 'Are you- You're going to let her RAPE US?!'

'No,' Marvin said firmly. 'But I'm going to let Toga think her washboard chest, and flatter than a dead person's heartbeat body think she is.'

Marvin let out a breath as Toga licked the last of the blood from his face.

"Your blood tastes so good," She almost whimpered as she pressed herself more to him.

Marvin jerked as Toga suddenly sat up, grinning madly.

"We need to make this more romantic," She whispered, grabbing his face.

She kissed him roughly, her lips smashing into his.

Marvin reacted out of instinct, digging his teeth into her lip and pulling hard.

Toga's lip tore open, spilling blood onto Marvin's face and into his mouth.

"Oh, just like that," Toga whimpered, licking her busted lip.

She grabbed the hem of his pants. "I can't take it anymore. I NEED it."

'Marvin, if you have a plan, now might be a good time to use it!' Izuku shouted in a panic.

Marvin pulled more energy from the surroundings before his eyes widened.

He pulled on the blood, trying to draw energy from it. He'd used blood for things in his old world; why not here?

Marvin and Izuku hissed in pain as energy began flowing through them, drawing it from Toga's body like a vacuum.

Toga stiffened, feeling incredibly drowsy, and swaying a little before collapsing to the ground.

"L- lov-" Toga whispered before she passed out, her stamina completely drained.

Marvin closed his eyes, taking deep breaths as he felt like his heart was about to burst from his chest.

'That was too close,' Izuku said, also trying to calm down.

'Way too close,' Marvin agreed, violently trying to shove back the memories that tried to surface.

'Did we get energy at least?' Izuku asked, trying to ignore the topic for now.

Marvin nodded, somewhat disgusted. 'Bitch had some half-ok stamina, not anywhere close to mine or even yours, but usable.'

He took a deep breath, letting One for All flow through them, trying to gauge the limit they could use.

'35% is stable, but it would burn out quickly unless we only use One for All and not Blackwhip and the others,' Marvin told him. '25% would last a decent amount of time, even with the other Quirks.'

'Do you have a solid number?' Izuku asked.

Marvin turned some numbers around. 'At 35? Maybe like, twenty minutes, five if we use the other Quirks. 25% would last about an hour if we use the others sparingly, about an hour and a half if we don't use them at all.'

Izuku nodded. 'We can use that. We have to stick to 25% since we don't know where exactly we are.'

Marvin took a deep breath, regulating One for All to 25% and pushing.

The bonds on their hands shattered, the rope holding their torso snapping as Marvin ripped it to shreds.

Marvin stood quickly, grabbing the pills from his pocket and tossing them into his mouth.

'What are you doing?!' Izuku hissed.

'They're under my tongue, idiot,' Marvin replied, keeping his mouth closed. 'I'll take them only if needed.'

He kicked away Toga's unconscious body harshly, using more force than was strictly necessary and causing her to hit the wall with a dull thump.

'Showtime,' He thought before kicking the door open and letting his Factor go wild.

He rushed forward, taking advantage of the League's shock to strike Kurogiri's collar with a sharp kick.

Blackwhip lashed out, restraining the warp gate user as Marvin's Factor flashed violently.

'Null Void!'

His Factor flared as he snapped his fingers, freezing everyone and preventing them from using their Quirks.

Marvin leaped forward, kicking Dabi in the jaw before rushing Shigaraki and punching him in the throat.

His senses flared, and he twisted under Compress' arm.

Marvin grabbed Compress by the elbow and threw him into Magne hard enough to make both hit the wall.

Blackwhip slammed Spinner into the ground hard enough to make him bounce.

He slammed Kurogiri into the wall before leaping, smashing through the ceiling and high into the air.

Marvin used Float to stay in the air, letting Blackwhip recceed into his body.

'And, what now?' Izuku asked as they stared down the League's new skylight.

'No fucking clue,' Marvin shrugged. 'Not sure where we are, actually.'

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

The airfield was quiet, outside of the maintenance going on in the hangars and the trucks going by; it was its own brand of peace as the crews went about their jobs. Though, one could easily point out the variety of different Quirks there were across the various service personnel, even the other teams.

Momo looked out towards the tarmac as some of the gear she was lent lay across her bed. At first, she wanted to question why she couldn't use her hero gear, but then her logic kicked in.

She couldn't wear it because A. It's colorful, and B. It's VERY noticeable for various reasons, and from what she saw from Rescue Team One by itself, Hero Safety went ahead of glamor and appearance.

"Does the gear fit ok…" Hebi came up behind her, "Hell, I'm sorry, I didn't get your name. I'm Hebi Sorawotobu, and you probably have noticed I'm Rescue One's team leader."

Momo smiled at her. "I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, but my Hero name is Creati. And yeah, I did; you do a good job leading."

Hebi's face was still masked, but let her emotion show through her tone. "Thanks. It wasn't my first rescue drop, but it was my first drop with so much riding on the success. I'm sorry again about your Boyfriend; from what I hear, that wasn't normal."

Momo's brows furrowed. "What did you hear? I heard Uraraka and Todoroki mentioning a 'rampaging dragon' when they were talking earlier, but I don't know what they mean by that."

"More like possessed by a Rampaging dragon, Vengeful wraith, Vengeful vampiric dragon wraith-thing," Hebi shrugged, "There are a lot of theories flying around, but two things are certain. One: We are going to get him back, and Two: We are going to get whatever that's in him out of him before it kills him or someone else."

'That second part is almost definitely too late,' Momo thought as she realized who Uraraka and Todoroki had been talking about.

"Anyways, finished getting-" Hebi was cut off by the base's alarm going off.

"ATTENTION RESCUE TEAMS ONE THROUGH THREE, PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE LOCATED IN KAMINO WARD! PILOTS; TEMPEST, EVER GALE, WINDWALKER, TO YOUR AIRSHIPS AND PREPARE TO SCRAMBLE IMMEDIATELY!"

"I'm going to assume that's bad," Momo said as she grabbed the rest of the gear and put it on.

Hebi smiled under her mask, "For you, No. That means we found him; we're deploying."

Momo's pace tripled, moving as fast as she could, and was out the door before she could pause to think.

"Well?" She asked Hebi.

"Talk and walk!" Hebi bolted out of the barracks in a brisk walk, ignoring the looks the other students gave them.

Momo followed quickly, her expression one of stony determination. 'We're getting you back, Izuku.'

Hebi made a beeline for their airship with Momo in tow, the other three members of the team waiting for them with the rest of their gear. "Creati, You know 30Lead and Black Grace, the big armored smart ass is Panzer."

"You know you guys love me," the Battle Tortious cracked.

Momo smiled politely. "Nice to meet you," She said before turning to Hebi anxiously. "So when are we deploying?"

"Now. Grab a seat and hold on; when an emergency call like this goes out, we kinda roll out like police and fire. Fast, quick, and in a damn hurry."

Momo sat down, her leg bouncing nervously, not for her, but for Izuku, knowing what could cause such a sudden alarm would lead them into a battle zone.

"If we're lucky, this is just a simple pickup, with an overreaction," 30 spoke up to try and calm her, "Take a deep breath and try to steady your nerves."

Momo gave him a look. "I know Izuku well enough to know that wherever we go is going to have several injured, people screaming, and Izuku with at least one broken bone."

Panzer let out a light sigh, "For all of our sakes, girly. I sincerely hope you are mistaken."

Momo smiled tightly. "Sure, but don't call me girly, ok?" She asked in a sickly sweet voice.

The airship started to lift, the pilot not bothering to close the ramp.

Hebi made her way up front to check on the pilot. The deployment of three teams on the same operation was a concern because there were three ANVIL airships in the air for this, meaning no way was this going to be discreet. A general destination, the normal procedure would be briefed on the route, and Hebi hoped that this would be damn good for Cypher to be flying the flag this brazenly.

But Hebi and Rescue One also had an unblooded rookie on their team; concerning Hebi, but she didn't let it show; the girl was a survivor. Hebi was sure Momo would do fine… if she followed her orders to the letter.

Upon walking back to the others, she locked eyes with Momo, "Are you holding up ok, Rookie?"

Momo raised an eyebrow. "I thought this was supposed to be a simple pickup?" She asked. "Why wouldn't I be ok?"

"Let me impart some wisdom onto thee: things are rarely, if EVER, that easy."

"Fury, Cypher is on the mainline." the pilot called back as a screen lowered from the top of the cabin and lit up.

"Cypher to all airborne flights, we've found him; transit, surveillance, and communication systems suffered a severe disruption nearly ten minutes ago." The map of Kamino ward appeared on the screen.

"His general location is within this area; Rescues One through Three are to sweep the area and keep an eye on the rooftops; Izuku Midoriya has the ability to achieve limited flight, so keep an eye out.

Additionally, once in Kamino's airspace, keep your props vertical. Bring him Home. Combat one is on standby to provide support. Cypher out."

Momo rubbed her eyes as she heard the message. 'Marvin better not be having Izuku do something idiotic like break out by himself. He's good, but he was exhausted.'

—-

Bakugo scowled as he saw people scrambling around the base as the alarms sounded.

'Damn nerd can't even get rescued normally,' He rolled his eyes, shoving a box of supplies on top of a pile.

"Bakugo, you must be more careful," Iida barked, carrying a box beside him. "These supplies are necessary to help our classmates."

Bakugo clicked his tongue. "You know what? Screw it, I'm saving the damn nerd myself."

"Bakugo! Vigilantism is illegal across Japan!" Iida yelled, putting down the box.

Bakugo sucked his teeth. "Like you can talk. You went to fight Stain and nearly got yourself killed; at least I'm not trying to kill the bastard."

He stalked out of the room, ignoring Iida's protests as he did.

'These freaking extras can't even save a single person without using every resource they have,' He scowled. 'If All Might were here, it wouldn't even take him five minutes to get the nerd back.'

"Bakugo, I must insist you stop this!" Iida exclaimed, walking briskly as he tried to catch up.

"Bug off," Bakugo replied. "You going to stand there and play the Hero or go out and actually be one, Glasses?"

Iida paused, taken aback by Bakugo's statement.

"We can't just go out alone!" He insisted.

"As if we'd let you," Uraraka said as she appeared beside him.

"Uraraka? Why are you here?" Iida exclaimed.

"We heard Bakugo," She replied. "We agree."

"Who's 'we,' Pink Cheeks?" Bakugo asked. "You haven't gone crazy, have you?"

"I'm right here," Tsu said, appearing from behind Uraraka. "She's just taller than me."

Bakugo sighed. "Fine. But if we're doing this, we're doing it my way."

"And what's that?" Uraraka asked as Bakugo began walking.

"I'm taking a vehicle and driving there," Bakugo replied.

Iida paused. "Are you certain that is a good idea?"

"Do you even know how to drive, kero?" Tsu asked at the same time.

"Yes to both," Bakugo shot out, increasing his pace. "C'mon, I know where they keep the keys."

"This is so wrong," Uraraka mumbled. "We're going to get in so much trouble."

"Do you want to save the nerd or not?" Bakugo drawled. "Because if you don't, then you can happily go."

Uraraka balled her fists. "We're going," She bit, walking forward quickly.

"Heck yeah, Team Dynamight!" Bakugo exclaimed.

"We are not calling ourselves Team Dynamight," Uraraka huffed as they followed him.

"Oh, then what do you suggest we call ourselves?" Bakugo scoffed. "The Kirby Squad?"

Uraraka flushed and crossed her arms. "We should've kept you in the cocoon," She grumbled.

"He could still talk there," Tsu pointed out.

"Yeah, but I didn't have to see him," Uraraka replied as they exited into the area where the vehicles were.

Bakugo walked over to a table and snatched a pair of keys off it before walking back to them.

"Hey," A guard said, grabbing Bakugo's shoulder. "What do you think you're doing?"

Bakugo turned, firing a large explosion into the guard's face, sending him flying back, unconscious.

"Come on," He scowled, holding up the keys and examining the tag on them. "Says the plate on here, shouldn't be hard to find."

"Are we sure letting Bakugo drive is a good idea?" Tsu asked as they ran over to the vehicles.

"Don't worry, I am also capable of driving," Iida said, grabbing the keys from Bakugo as they reached a large flatbed truck with a metallic cover on it.

"Can we just hurry the hell up?!" Bakugo snapped as he got into the passenger seat.

Uraraka and Tsu scrambled into the back of the truck, which was surprisingly spacious, since the only things inside were benches along the sides.

Iida opened the driver's door, getting in before freezing as he saw the truck was stick-shift.

"What the hell are you waiting for, Glasses?" Bakugo snapped.

"I- I can't drive stick-shift," Iida admitted sheepishly.

Bakugo sucked his teeth, getting out of the truck and heading over to the driver's seat.

"Get out, Glasses," He said, grabbing the keys.

"You can drive this?" Iida asked in shock.

Bakugo scowled. "OF COURSE I CAN DRIVE THIS," He barked. "NOW ARE WE GOING TO GET THE DAMN NERD OR NOT?!"

Iida nodded quickly, getting into the passenger seat quickly as Bakugo put the keys in the ignition.

Bakugo started the truck, pulling out the parking space before flooring it towards the exit.

"BAKUGO," Iida exclaimed, his voice oddly high-pitched, gripping the grab handle like his life depended on it. "DO WE REALLY NEED TO GO THIS QUICKLY?!"

"I thought you liked speed," Bakugo replied with a fierce grin.

The truck barreled down the path, and the two saw the metal fence that was blocking their path to the outside.

"Bakugo, I really think we should find another way," Iida nearly pleaded as he watched the fence get closer.

"Bakugo?" Iida asked as the blond ignored him.

"BAKUGO!"

They barreled through the fence, breaking through it and Bakugo not slowing in the slightest.

"You think we have time to slow down, Glasses?" Bakugo barked as he drove.

"I- I still think we should exercise CAUTION!" Iida's pitch rose as Bakugo made a sharp turn.

"Caution's for the weak," Bakugo grinned as he kept driving, pushing the truck to move as fast as it could handle.

The truck burst onto the street, with Bakugo somehow weaving through traffic without crashing into anything.

"Bakugo, I would really suggest slowing down," Iida pleaded, his eyes wide with every seemingly impossible turn that Bakugo made.

"Sounds like a you problem, Glasses," Bakugo replied before suddenly jerking the wheel.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Iida yelled in a panic as the wheels screeched loudly. "YOU CAN'T DRIFT THIS, IT'LL TIP OVER."

"SHORTCUT!" Bakugo yelled back. "AND FUCKING WATCH ME!"

Bakugo jerked the steering wheel back, quickly shifting between the brake and gas before flooring it again.

The truck bolted down the street, its back shaking a little from the momentum, but was otherwise untouched.

"HOW'S THAT FOR DRIVING?!" Bakugo laughed like a maniac, feeling in his element as he drove.

Iida gripped his seat with both hands, silently praying to anything that would listen to get him out of the death trap he was surely in.

His phone went off, causing Iida to jump in shock before scrambling to pick it up.

"Ah- uh. H-Hello, Todoroki," Iida laughed nervously.

"You guys left, didn't you?" Todoroki asked over the phone.

"What ever could you MEAN?!" Iida's semi-calm voice turned to a scream as Bakugo drifted the truck again.

"Who's driving?" Todoroki asked.

Iida gulped as Bakugo ran a red light; granted, there were no cars anyway, but it was the principal of the thing.

"B-Bakugo," Iida replied, trying to calm himself. "I can't drive stick."

"Ah, are any of you in the hospital yet?" Todoroki asked.

"SCREW YOU ICY-HOT," Bakugo roared, able to hear him. "I'M THE BEST DAMN DRIVER EVER, I'D NEVER GET INTO AN ACCIDENT!"

"I find that surprisingly hard to believe," Was Todoroki's immediate reply.

"Uhm, I'll call you back later, Todoroki," Iida said.

"WE'RE SAVING THE DAMN NERD AND DOING IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP," Bakugo yelled.

"Bye, Todoroki," Iida said quickly, hanging up the phone.

"Bakugo, you shouldn't insult Todoroki like that," Iida hissed.

"Oh, bug off, Half-and-Half won't do anything," Bakugo replied confidently.

Todoroki sighed as he hung up the phone, rubbing his eyes with his hand tiredly.

"So they really left?" Kendo asked as she put down a bag of supplies.

"Yes," Todoroki replied. "They went, and Bakugo's driving."

"Bakugo?" Tetsutetsu asked, pausing as he carried a box. "Who'd let that crazy guy drive?"

"I'm not sure," Todoroki replied, putting away his phone. "But Bakugo and Iida went; Uraraka and Asui probably joined them since we haven't seen them in a while."

"Why would they do such a thing?" Ibara asked, using her vines to move several boxes to their places.

"They did say Midoriya's a close friend," Tetsutetsu pointed out.

"Yeah, but so is Todoroki, and he didn't go," Kendo replied.

"They didn't say anything," Todoroki said. "I would've gone had I known."

Kendo blinked. "They really didn't tell you anything? Weird."

Todoroki turned to walk out of the room, an idea forming in his head.

"Hey, Todoroki, where you going, man?" Tetsutetsu called. "We still need help with these boxes."

Todoroki left the room, leaving the three 1-B students staring at each other in confusion.

'If they want to leave without me, that's fine,' He thought. 'But it's not my fault if someone SOMEHOW manages to find out.'

He quickly found a guard and approached them, his expression neutral.

"Excuse me," Todoroki said, causing the guard to turn.

"Need something kid?" The guard asked.

"No, but a few of my class left to save Midoriya without permission," Todoroki explained.

The guard did a double take. "What? Are you sure?"

Todoroki nodded. "Katsuki Bakugo, Tenya Iida, and possibly Ochako Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui left. I'm pretty sure they took a vehicle from here. I'm concerned for their safety, so I thought telling an adult was right."

The guard nodded. "Thanks for telling me, kid; I'll make sure the Commander's aware. You can get back to what you were doing before."

The guard ran off, turning his radio on and relaying the message as he went.

Todoroki walked back to where Kendo and the others were, entering the room like nothing had happened.

"You're back," Kendo noted. "What was with the sudden leaving?"

"I told an adult what Bakugo did," Todoroki replied, picking up a box.

"You ratted them out?" Tetsutetsu called in shock.

"It was for their safety," Todoroki explained. "Yaoyorozu is the only one besides Midoriya capable of defending herself, at least legally. Besides, it's better to be safe than sorry."

"That was very wise of you, Todoroki," Ibara said with a small smile. "Looking out for your friends is the mark of a kind person."

"Bakugo isn't my friend," Todoroki replied. "I did what I had to. If we'd known and not said anything and one of them got hurt, it would've caused all of us problems."

The three 1-B students nodded, agreeing with Todoroki's statement. They shared glances, nodding as they silently promised to shield him from whatever tantrum Bakugo threw when he found out.

The room was chaotic, with reporters shouting questions from every direction, seemingly jumping over each other to have their questions answered.

Nezu sighed. "If you all would calm down," He called into his mic. "We can only answer one question at a time!"

The noise died down to a mild buzzing, the reporters asking questions between themselves in hushed whispers.

"A question for Eraserhead!" A reporter called, raising their hand.

"Go ahead," Aizawa replied calmly.

"The word is you not only let your students fight back but encouraged them; care to explain?" The reporter asked.

Aizawa sighed. "It was meant to prevent the worst-case scenario and have more students be injured."

"And do you think that response is a positive for UA?" The reporter asked again.

"Had it not been for the actions of students like Momo Yaoyorozu and Mezo Shoji, the outcome would've ended much differently," Nezu replied for Aizawa.

"So you admit the teachers were incapable of protecting the students?" Another reporter asked.

Jona growled a little. "As good as we are, we are only human. The attack began on the opposite end of the forest from where we were, and the villains were spread out across the entire area. Even All Might would have taken time to cross that distance."

"Cypher," A third reporter called. "It's gotten out that one of your teams was there; do you consider the kidnapping of a student to be a personal failure?"

Jona took a deep breath. "Every person we cannot save is a failure to any Hero, big or small. My agency is no different. Every Hero has failed once, but the important part is to learn from those failures."

"Reports say that the fearsome villain, Muscular, who was reported to also be in the attack, was defeated by a 'green haired punk,' and was found with his muscles torn, bones broken, and with a severe concussion," Yet another reporter called.

"Do you think this is the work of the Hero, Duality, and if so, why does UA continue relying on a single student to do the dirty work?" They asked with more than a hint of accusation in their tone.

"It definitely sounds like him," Nezu replied calmly, steepling his fingers. "But please explain when we have relied on Mister Midoriya to, as you so eloquently put it, 'do our dirty work?'"

The reporter looked nervous, gulping as Nezu gave them a look like a parent would to a misbehaving child.

"UA takes full accountability for any actions," Nezu continued. "But the only time your accusation might be viable was during this recent attack, and as Cypher already answered, we are only human, and we cannot be everywhere. Mister Midoriya's heroic actions are greatly appreciated, but we have not, and never will, rely on him while we, as UA faculty, have two perfectly working hands."

The reporter clammed up, shrinking back into the crowd in embarrassment.

"That doesn't remove the fact that Duality was kidnapped!" Someone yelled from within the mob. "UA failed to protect one of its most recognizable students! This isn't even the first time an attack happened! I have a niece at UA, but with this attack, what proof do I have that she won't be the next victim of a villain attack?"

Jona took a deep breath. "All measures UA can legally take have been taken. To address the concern about the attacks, the first 'attack' was when the UA barrier, meant to keep unwanted guests out, was destroyed by an individual with a particularly destructive Quirk.

Second, the attack on the USJ facility was only a short time after, not enough time for new security measures to be in place. The USJ was also a location previously thought secure and was infiltrated by a group containing a villain with a Warp Quirk, something we could not account for.

Security takes time," Jona said before taking a deep breath. "We managed to rally Heroes for the Sports Festival, but it was not a permanent solution.

And finally, the camp location was kept secret even from me until I signed a binding agreement to never disclose it. It was attacked by villains using the same Warp Gate user, even after there was no possible way for them to know of its location. So, it's highly probable the villains had someone with a Foresight or Homing Quirk, something that I would very much like to see you predict and stop."

Jona took a final deep breath. "UA was attacked several times, yet, each time, we managed to adapt and survive. Have you ever done that? Have you fought a prepared opponent? One that knows your moves, but you don't know theirs?

Have you been forced to defend people you care for while utterly unprepared? Have you been forced to stain your hands with your own blood to survive? How many times have you seen the blood of your loved ones and friends in front of you and been forced to keep your head because even a tiny slip-up means death?"

His voice was pure steel now; void of any pleasantries or even fluctuation.

The reporters shrunk on themselves from his words. Jona's tone was twenty times that of a soldier than a Hero.

"Well?" Jona asked, his voice returning to its staged politeness. "Have any of you?"

The group of reporters avoided his eyes, knowing that if they looked there, they'd see the memories that backed up his words.

Aizawa stood, clearing his throat. "UA does formally apologize for this incident and takes full responsibility for its consequences."

He bowed as Nezu and Jona stood, and with that, the conference ended.

The three adults quickly exited the room, with Jona blowing out a breath as they did.

"That was much more fragmented than we planned," Aizawa said, letting his hair down.

"But it was necessary," Nezu replied. "This will keep them entertained and give the others time."

He turned to Jona. "That small speech you gave was excellent. It explained the situation without going into any sensitive details."

Jona smiled. "It's what I do, Nezu."

He paused as his phone went off, sighing as he took it out and held it up.

"Yes?" He paused as the person on the other end began speaking.

"Commander, we just got word that 1-A student, Katsuki Bakugo, stole one of our trucks and left the base with the students Tenya Iida, Ochako Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui, all also from class 1-A."

Jona closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "Anything else?" He growled.

"Um, it seems Bakugo knocked out one of the guards with his Quirk and drove through the fence," The person continued. "It's completely wrecked."

"Mhm," Jona replied, trying to keep his voice level. "How did you discover this?"

"1-A student, Shoto Todoroki reported it to one of the guards about half an hour ago, around 45 minutes after Bakugo stole the truck."

Jona nodded slowly. "Is there anything else I should be aware of?" He asked, dangerously close to slamming his head against the wall.

"Todoroki reported that Bakugo and the others were planning to save Midoriya themselves."

Jona hung up without a word, turning to the wall before drawing back and slamming his head against it.

"What's wrong?" Aizawa asked, staring at him in concern as Jona repeatedly banged his head against the wall.

"Your problem children," Jona replied without missing a beat.

"Which one? Midoriya's out, and I'm not sure what the others have done," Aizawa told him. "Are you talking about Todoroki, Bakugo, Iida, or someone else?"

"Todoroki reported it," Jona growled, resting his head against the cracked wall. "Bakugo, along with three others, stole one of my fucking trucks, drove it through the fence, and are going to save Midoriya themselves."

Aizawa froze, blinking a few times before releasing such a big sigh it seemed to take up his entire lungs.

"I'm not going to question why Bakugo, of all people, wants to save Midoriya," He said, rubbing his eyes. "But we'll have to help them, and hopefully, it doesn't turn into two rescue missions."

"He put one of my guards in the infirmary with his Quirk," Jona added.

Aizawa was seriously tempted to follow Jona's example and bang his head against the wall, but his logic stopped him; his head wasn't as hard as Jona's.

"I'm expelling him when he gets back," He declared, trying to calm down.

"Don't you believe that is a bit harsh, Shota?" Nezu asked, hands behind his back.

Aizawa paused; he knew that tone all too well. Nezu only used it when he was seriously mad.

"What do you suggest?" He asked, turning to the tiny principal.

"Well, since it was Jona's that Mister Bakugo destroyed, it should be up to Jona on what their punishment should be!" Nezu explained cheerfully.

Aizawa shivered a little; that cheerfulness was fucking disturbing.

"I'll find something for the kid," Jona muttered, rubbing his eyes.

His phone went off again, eliciting a groan.

"What now?" He muttered before answering.

"Jona, we have good and bad news," All Might's voice sounded.

"Shoot," Jona replied, putting the phone between him, Aizawa, and Nezu.

"Good news, I found Young Midoriya's previous location."

"That's go- wait, previous location?" Jona asked.

"That's the bad news," All Might told him.

The three Pros felt their hearts stop as All Might's voice came through.

"Young Midoriya's gone."

Authors' notes:

WCWW: Well if this isn't canon-divergent I don't know what is. Having a Fun time Reaper?

R: I mean I did say it'd be different. We're not even to the good part yet. And yes, yes I am.

R: This chapter was a ride for all the good reasons. Again, thanks to Wingcommander WhiteWolf for being my beta, and giving me ideas on how to write this. Most of what happened in this chapter were ideas he gave me, I simply expanded upon them and made them into a story format.

Next chapter is All For One, the Kamino fight, rescue, and other things. There's going to be a twist here, and its reasoning is partially explained both in this chapter and the last, so it's a fun little bit of foreshadowing.
