Around 8 O'clock that night Ace slumps into the house to smell many wonderful smells. "Graham?"
"In the kitchen." Ace enters the kitchen to find the lights dimmed, a few candles lit and Graham is putting dinner on the table.
"What is all this for?"
"I thought it would be time for our first official date." Ace walks closer to Graham to see him wearing black slacks and a red colored shirt.
"A date that will end up with the both of us in the same bed. What kind of girl do you think I am," Ace tries to joke.
"I can sleep on the couch if you want me to."
"No, I still want a bath for two and fall asleep in your arms."
"That all can be arranged," Graham smiles at her.
"Good, now, I am hungry, let's eat, then I can fully relax in a bath with you." Ace can hear the dryer, "did you do the laundry?"
"I am hoping the towels will be warm."
"I don't care about that, but thank you."
"Anything to help you relax."
"You in the bath with me should be enough." Graham tries to hide a smile behind taking a sip of wine. "No need to hide the smile from me. I love it when you smile."
"I love everything about you, including your smile."
"Including this," Ace leans across the table and lightly kisses Graham on the lips.
"One of my favorite things."
"Mine two," Ace settles back in her chair and they finish eating and each blow out the candles.
"Why don't you get out of your clothes while I start the water." What Ace doesn't know is that Graham set up the room with waterproof battery-operated candles. As she enters the room her mouth drops.
"You are really romancing me tonight."
"Relaxing you," Graham steps aside and Ace gets in the tub.
"Aren't you getting in?"
"Not yet," Graham fills a cup with some water, "just relax and let me pamper you." Graham grab's Ace's shampoo and starts to lather up her head he rinses then does her conditioner, as he lets it sit in her hair he disrobes and sits back down on the side of the tub, "arm."
"Huh?"
"I am going to wash your arms."
"I want you in the bath too, Graham."
"I know, I just want to make sure you are relaxed."
"I am, more than I have been in a while, except for last night."
"I am glad that I can help you be relaxed, now close your eyes as I wash out your conditioner." Ace does as requested and moans as Graham massages her scalp a little bit, her dark brown with dirty blond tips moving smoothly through his fingers. "Done."
"Thank you," Ace moves forward a little bit so Graham can get behind her. "How did you know this is what I needed?"
"You told me that you wanted a bath for two, and I came up with the rest of all of this."
"It is perfect. Especially with you behind me right now."
"Where I belong," Graham wraps his now wet arms around Ace's wet body.
"You belong right next to me, not behind me."
"Holding your hand?" Ace moves her hand to where Graham's is, resting on her stomach.
"Yes, holding my hand," Ace is now fully relaxed against Graham, "if I am honest, I haven't taken many baths with a second person. What about you?"
"There was only one I was this serious about, and with the two of us living with Ryan it was hard to do something like this for and with her."
"Well, I am glad you got to do this," Ace lifts up his hand still in hers and gives it a small kiss.
"Ace."
"Hmm." Ace is fully relaxing against Graham's chest.
"How is everything going at work?"
"I mostly caught up on the paperwork. It was good that I could get most of the paperwork done."
"I'm glad."
"Nyssa is saying that she and I should not work this weekend."
"I agree, you need to relax before we know when the court date is."
"I am relaxing right now, and that is due to you," Ace lets go of his hand and reaches behind her and brings her lips to his, as their tongues tangle Ace turns around in the bath. She gets on her knees as Graham hands move to her hip to steady her. "I may not be as relaxed as before."
"What why?"
"I just finished kissing the man who has my heart naked in a bathtub." Ace looks deeply into his eyes, "I am still relaxed, just a different kind of relaxed."
"I am being honest that I didn't plan on tonight ending in making love."
"You Graham O'Brien are special."
"You are Ace and Ace's are."
"Don't you dare finish that sentence."
"Why?"
"The Doctor liked to say that to me, and I don't want to think about the Time Lord while naked in the bath with you."
"You just had to say the Doc used to say that to you."
"I know," Ace turns back around and relaxes against Graham while putting her hand on the side of the tub and Graham moves one of his hands to lay on top of hers. "Graham?"
"Yes my love?"
"The water is getting cold."
"Then let's get out." Ace gets out first and grabs her towel. "What do you think you are doing?"
"Drying off."
"The pampering isn't over yet."
"What do you mean?" Graham gets out of the bath, wraps a towel around his waist and takes Ace's towel from her and starts drying her off.
"Are you sure that you are not trying to seduce me?"
"I am, you deserve to be all the way relaxed and a good night's sleep."
"What about you?"
"I know I will sleep well."
"How do you know that?"
"You my Dear, will be in my arms."
"You sure do have some lines."
"Only for you," Graham smiles at her as he finishes drying her off.
"Now you."
"What?"
"I am going to dry you off." As Ace dries him off, Graham tries to not look into her eyes. "Is anything the matter, Honey-Bear."
"I got a beautiful woman drying me off."
"You don't want to look into my eyes in fear of something coming."
"Ace, please stop."
"Ok, you're dry now." The two move and get into some sleep clothes then crawl into bed and quickly fall asleep.
