It was extremely early the day after Papyrus saved Frisk and Alexis from that mysterious duelist and a black van was driving across the academy towards the Slifer Red dorm as Professor Banner wiped his eyes from the noise only to gasp seeing it.
"Oh no the Disciplinary Action Squad! They show up when a students in real trouble!" Professor Banner gasped from this as multiple suited people ran up. "And it looks like there heading to Jaden's room!"
"What's going on...?" Not a morning person, Yuzu woke up irritated by the noise.
"It's the Disciplinary Action Squad." Professor Banner told her. "I think something happened to Jaden."
"The what!?" Now awake, and irritation gone Yuzu walked over shocked. "Oh my God, what did Jaden do?"
"I have no idea." Professor Banner mentioned nervously as a group of people in police uniforms ran up and started knocking on Jaden's door.
Jaden startled from the knocking walked over, and answered the door still groggy seeing a woman. "Can I help you?"
"Jaden Yuki?" the woman questioned.
"Yeah that's me." Jaden answered.
"You're under arrest." the woman told him. "Come with us."
"Huh, for what?" Jaden asked surprised as Syrus walks up confused.
"For breaking Duel Academy rules, you two are to be expelled effective immediately." the woman told them. "Chancellor Shepherd is waiting for us, now get moving."
Two of the men in police suits grabbed Jaden and Syrus before marching them out of the dorm towards the black van.
Meanwhile a similar van was driving down to the Obelisk Blue Girls dorm arriving at the front where Frisk is readying her morning with Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy. Seeing it from her window Frisk blinked. "Huh, Alexis what's that?"
"What's what?" Alexis asked confused as she looked, and widen her eyes. "The Disciplinary Action Squad!?"
"Huh, Disciplinary... why are they here?" Frisk asked.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling about this." Jasmine admitted.
They walked where Miss Fontaine looked alarmed seeing them as the leader of them asked her. "Is Frisk Dreemurr present in the dorm?"
Frisk shuddered a bit as she walked up holding Flowey. "Yes, is something wrong?"
"You Frisk?" the leader looked a little annoyed that she stepped up as he was talking to Fonda.
"Yes sir, is there something I did wrong?" Frisk asked a bit uncertainly.
"You broke Duel Academy rules. Your under arrest, and will be expelled effective immediately." the officer answered as he gestured where two men grabbed her arms to take her away.
"Huh, wait stop... what did I do?" Frisk asked fearfully as Alexis frowned deciding to go and talk to Chancellor Shepherd herself.
After a few minutes the officer walked in with Frisk, and Alexis where Sheppard, Dr. Crowler, the woman, Jaden, and Syrus are waiting.
"All the guilty parties are present Chancellor." the woman mentioned calmly.
"Not all of them." Dr. Crowler frowned.
"One of the officers reported that the skeleton will be present shortly." the officer explained.
"Can someone fill me in? What's going on?" Jaden asked in confusion.
"All three of you are being expelled for trespassing in the Abandoned Dorm." the woman answered with a glare.
"Huh? But that's not fair! Frisk and Alexis were kidnapped by this masked creep." Jaden argued.
"Kidnapped?" Sheppard hearing that perked up from hearing it before turning to Frisk, and Alexis. "Frisk, Alexis does that really happen?"
"Yes, it's true." Alexis nodded.
"Well despite this the two of you trespassed in the dorm." Dr. Crowler looked at Jaden, and Syrus before then adding. "And a reliable source told us that Frisk, and her skeleton comrade were with you with no confirmation Alexis was before she was kidnapped so she's let off with a warning but you four will face proper punishment."
"What?" Alexis questioned. "What source?"
"That doesn't matter. We are discussing about the future of those four." the woman pointed out over. "Your not one of the accused so unless you have something important to say, stay out of this."
Alexis frowned at that. "You can't blame Frisk, it was my fault she was there in the first place and..."
"HUMAN FRISK, WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?" Papyrus asked walking into the office. "DOES CHANCELLOR SHEPHERD DESIRE SOME SPAGHETTI FROM THE GREAT PAPYRUS?"
"Ah the last of the guilty are here. Now we can get started deciding the punishment." Dr. Crowler smirked at this.
"The rules are quite clear." the woman mentioned. "The guilty students, Jaden Yuki, Syrus Truesdale, and Frisk Dreemurr will be expelled and Papyrus will leave the island immediately."
"Come now why must we act like tyrants. I say we give them a sporting event that can give them a chance to stay." Dr. Crowler spoke up.
"What?" the woman questioned. "This is highly irregular and given the severity of the rule they broke..."
"Well Crowler you got any ideas?" Sheppard asked him.
"A high stakes duel. They win there duels they get off scott-free. Lose, and they'll be EXPELLED." Dr. Crowler answered over.
"The skeleton isn't a student." the man who brought Frisk pointed out.
"He still faces punishment. At best jailed." Dr. Crowler brought his own version of how Papyrus will be punished.
"No!" Frisk cried in horror. "You can't do that to him!"
"It's what you, and them get for trespassing in the Abandoned Dorm, Miss Frisk. You don't want to happen? Then I wish you luck for the duels." Dr. Crowler smirked over.
Sheppard sighed over not seeing a reason why this shouldn't be approved. "I'll find some opponents to arrange."
"Oh don't worry about that Chancellor. Leave the arranging to me, these four will certainly receive a high stakes duel for breaking such a rule." Dr. Crowler assured over smirking that he can get rid of Jaden who is a Slifer that made a mockery of him, and his Obelisks, and Frisk who is a disgrace to the Obelisks as a child who is given too much leeway.
"Oh man..." Syrus frowned.
"Well in any case you four will have until the weekend so be sure to practice, and be ready." Sheppard told over the four. "There won't be another chance."
"Ok... well, thank you Dr. Crowler." Frisk whispered nervously.
"Hn." Dr. Crowler mused off as he walked out to contact the duelists he intends to hire.
"Chancellor, Frisk was only at the Abandoned Dorm because she was with me... if anyone should risk expulsion it should be me not her." Alexis pointed out.
"You were?" Sheppard asked her.
"Yes." she nodded.
She feels a hand taking her wrist where she sees Frisk looking at her.
"Frisk?" Alexis asked seeing that. "What are you doing?"
"Alexis. I appreciate trying to stick up. But please don't." Frisk said to her.
Alexis looked at her in shock. "Frisk, are you sure? If you lose you'll be expelled."
"...You have a reason why you should stay." Frisk answered over to her.
"Frisk..." Alexis whispered in shock before frowning but she nodded. "Ok, do you want any help before the weekend?"
Frisk nodded as Sheppard dismissed them.
"My child, are you ok?" Toriel asked as the monsters were waiting outside the office for them.
"Goat mom? Guys? How long were you guys here?" Frisk asked.
"We just got here a little while ago, is everything ok?" Asgore asked her.
"We're getting kicked out." Syrus answered dejected.
"What!?" Undyne questioned in shock. "Why would they kick you out?"
"Even though we saved Frisk, and Alexis in the Abandoned Dorm, we're getting expelled cause of it while Papyrus goes to jail. But if we win two duels by the weekend we can stay." Jaden answered.
"Huh? But, that isn't fair." Alphys frowned hearing that.
"Fair or not it's the rule." Alexis frowned.
"No matter what... I will be ready." Frisk clenched her hands. "I won't let Uncle Kaiba, and the others down."
"don't worry Frisk, we'll help you out." Sans reassured her with a gentle hug.
Frisk smiled as she leaned to the hug before pulling away turning to Alexis. "Okay... Alexis should we head back?"
"Are you sure, don't you want to spend a little time with your friends first?" Alexis asked her.
"You are my friends. I want to be ready." Frisk answered. "I will spend time with my family later."
Alexis smiled but nodded. "Ok, let's head back Frisk."
Frisk nodded as they walked together back to the Obelisk Blue Girl's Dorm while Jaden, and Syrus walked off for there own training. When they arrived Mindy and Jasmine ran out.
"What happened, are you two ok?" Mindy asked.
Alexis frowned over. "Well... Frisk is in trouble." She explained over what had happened to the two of them.
"What, there's no way they can do that... she was kidnapped by some creep." Jasmine argued.
"Well they heard from a source Frisk was with them before she, and I were kidnapped." Alexis voiced over why Frisk is getting punished too.
"What source?" Mindy questioned.
"They didn't tell us." Frisk admitted.
"Well, if you win a duel you get to stay right?" Mindy asked. "We can help make sure you're ready if you want."
Frisk smiled nodding over. "I intended to head to you guys to help me anyway."
"Of course." Jasmine smiled.
"It doesn't matter, you'll lose either way." Flowey mentioned.
"Gee sour-pants much?" Mindy frowned over to Flowey.
"What do you know, it's not like a flower can duel anyway and Frisk's really skilled." Jasmine pointed out turning to Frisk. "Just ignore him."
Frisk had a small frown before smiling over to them. "Okay. Shall we start?"
"Sounds good to me." Jasmine smiled as Frisk gave Flowey to Alexis only for him to grumble under his breath.
"Okay so... how do we do this?" Mindy asked them curiously.
"Well, can you help look at my deck so we can come up with a plan?" Frisk asked her.
"K girlfriend." Jasmine figured that's a good starting point. "Let's see what we're working with."
Nodding Frisk handed Jasmine her deck. "It's based on my friends and family from the Underground so... it's really special to me."
Jasmine takes a look over with Mindy checking over with her. Then Jasmine shrugged. "Well it's looking pretty fine to me for my tastes."
"Having a strong deck is one thing, but coming up with ways to effectively use it is another." Alexis pointed out. "Strategies, combos that can help her win so she can stay here."
"Well maybe she can add cards that support DARK monsters? Her Deck is made entirely of it." Mindy suggested to while it's mostly DARK, the Grillby LV monsters are fire.
"That's a good idea." Jasmine agreed. "I think I have a few DARK support cards."
"Frisk?" inquired a female voice.
Hearing that they all looked over. It was miss Fontaine walking over.
"Frisk, are you alright?" she asked. "I heard what happened from Yuzu."
"I'm alright Miss Fontaine. I just to need to practice, and be ready." Frisk answered with a smile.
"I heard, well if you need anything just ask. I'm here for you." she smiled gently. "Oh, and I'm not sure if it'll help but I thought this might help you a bit."
She handed Frisk two cards. Frisk blinked taking the cards looking at them. One was a spell named Allure of Darkness and the other was a monster named Dark Honest.
"Whoa, these two are..." Frisk was amazed from how useful these two are but smiled towards Miss Fontaine. "Thanks for these Miss Fontaine."
"Of course, and I'm rooting for you Frisk." she smiled warmly going into the dorm.
Frisk smiled as stared at the two cards.
"Those will definitely come in handy." Mindy smiled.
"Okay. So am I also gonna be training by dueling you girls?" Frisk asked them.
"Yeah, practice makes perfect girlfriend." Jasmine smiled.
Frisk smiled nodding before turning to Mindy. "Then Mindy. Would you mind being first?"
"No problem." she mentioned. "But I don't plan on going easy on you Frisk."
Frisk nodded as they walked readying each other as Frisk shuffled the two new cards into her Deck for them to be ready.
"This is a waste of time, she'll just lose anyway." Flowey rolled his eyes.
"You ready?" Frisk asked Mindy with a smile.
"I sure am Frisk." Mindy smiled.

"What are you going to do Frisk?" Mindy asked curiously.
Frisk drew taking a look over her hand. She then smiled getting an idea grabbing a card. "Okay, here is the third of my Field Spells, Mindy! Hotland!"
At that everyone notices the area changing where it forms a large underground place with lava around, and a large building before them.

"Alright then." Mindy nodded drawing three cards as her eyes widened a bit. "Ok, go ahead and pick."
Frisk checked over towards them before pointing to the middle. "Spell."
"Sorry Frisk, monster." Mindy smiled. "Machina Sniper."
Frisk nodded as she glowed red. (Frisk: 3500/Hand: 2)
Mindy put the three cards back before shuffling them.
"Okay, your turn still." Frisk smiled.
"Ok, I'll start by unequipping Machina Gearframe and summoning it." Mindy smiled as the monster unlatched, and appeared beside Fortress.

Fortress fired attacks over blasting Frisk's face-down which was shown to be Mettaton destroyed.
"That monster summons his evolved form right?" Mindy recalled.
"Yup." Frisk confirmed as Mettaton EX rose up grinning.

"A Continuous Trap known as The CORE!" A bright light appeared before they looked seeing something behind Frisk.

"That's... interesting." Jasmine admitted seeing Mettaton EX dancing.
"He definitely has... dance moves." Alexis agreed.
"Alright Mindy, it's still your turn." Frisk smiled as she made some poses with Mettaton EX.
"Oh, right." Mindy nodded. "Machina Fortress attack Mettaton EX."
Fortress charges in over at Mettaton EX who readied before Frisk called over. "I activate my face-down. Half Unbreak!"

"Ruinforce, attack Mettaton NEO!" Mindy called.
Ruinforce charged an attack over firing at NEO who armed himself. Frisk at that called over. "I activate the trap card, SOUL Barrier!"

During damage calculation involving a monster you control, and a monster your opponent controls: Reduce that battle damage to 0, then at the end of the Damage Step, Special Summon up to 5 "SOUL Tokens" (LIGHT/LV 1/Fairy/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your field in Defense Position. You can only activate 1 "SOUL Barrier" per turn.
"So now the damage, I take from this battle is reduced to 0!" Frisk called over to Mindy.
"Wrong, when you use a card or effect during the battle phase Ruinforce lets me pay half my life points to negate that card and then cut your life points in half." Mindy revealed.

Frisk widen her eyes as she grunted from the effect. (Frisk: 1150/Hand: 2) The attack continued over striking Mettaton NEO destroying him while Frisk was hit by the shockwave.

"I told you." Flowey mentioned seeing that as Mindy ran over to Frisk.
"Are you ok girlfriend?"
Frisk looked before she smiled over to Mindy. "Thanks for the duel Mindy."
"Anytime, and sorry if I went a little overboard at the end, Ruinforce is one of my best cards." Mindy admitted.
"Don't worry. My opponent will probably use something like it. Just means, I need to ready myself when it happens. I got until the weekend to be ready." Frisk smiled over.
"That's the right attitude." Jasmine smiled.
"Well I hope Jaden, and Syrus are doing alright with there training." Alexis brought up for them. "Especially Syrus, his confidence is not his best quality."
"I hope..." Frisk whispered hearing that.
"Okay then enough with the tensed silence! Shall we get back to it?" Jasmine asked to lift the mood.
"Right." Frisk smiled.
"And you-" Mindy pointed at Flowey who blinked. "Keep the discouraging stuff to a minimum okay? You don't got anything nice to say, don't say it."
"It's called being realistic you idiot." Flowey told her coldly.
Jasmine flicked his head. "There's such a thing as being blunt."
Flowey grumbled at that while Alexis walked over to have her own match with Frisk.
Meanwhile with Jaden and Syrus...
Jaden, and Syrus have had there own match, and Jaden was checking Syrus' hand being suspicious, and widen his eyes. "Whoa Power Bond!? If you used this instead of Polymerization, you would've won against me! Why didn't you use it?"
"That's... I couldn't." Syrus frowned looking down.
"You couldn't? Why not, nothing was stopping you." Jaden said to him.
"That's... I just can't play it." Syrus frowned more.
"Sy..." Jaden was a bit confused over how Syrus can't use Power Bond wondering what exactly is holding him back.
Ulrich362: Poor Syrus, but what's wrong with him?
